Her Son is on the Mend. He is Okay. I am sure she will be around soon.
But wanted to share with all " He is in Recovery" and healing.

The Pink House
I wish I was able to buy the Magazine her house was featured in. It was March of 2009.
Her house was on the cover of " Cottage Living" or .. dang it can't recall. One of the major magazines .. And they did a full spread of her inside decor, all her rooms. 
She buys furniture from Auctions all over VA and then shabbs it - My desk that I am sitting at, I bought from her.
This is her blog. She has not updated it in quite awhile - Years. But it does link to her site that she sells from ( which is up to date)  - You can see photo's inside her House.  I do not know where she gets her Energy from. She is a Wonderful Woman. She grew up in Detroit.

She told me via email ( we did at one time, talk all the time via email, we group up in the same area) She told me that she purchased the " exterior Paint" for her house and hired a crew to do the work.. she said that they came all prepared ..and then saw the house and its size and were like  OK ..lets Roll 
She had all the paint custom " Pinked" she said that it was a bunch of men in white suits, on ladders ...wearing Dark Sunglasses ..because they were BLINDED by the Sun mixed with the Hot Pink Paint ... I love Color but ..    Woah PINK is Pink ..

You are Welcome, T,  I am so HAPPY that I can state these words. Northern is very Dear to Me.
She is a Sister to me. I continue to Pray as well, Her family is exhausted right now - and They need empowerment from all and everyone. They have been through a lot in the last 6 mos or so.

Brandi Do you live near Portsmouth ? 

That is where I stayed at one time - my Brother was in the Navy and I was able to go with my BF Kim to Norfolk and the areas around .. are you near Portsmouth? 
I actually can say that I enjoyed VA more so than Florida - I was just 18, 19 then. 
I just recall VA being so Green in areas and then so close to the ocean - Was like the best of both worlds.

I got out DSI games registered and connected to the WiFi too!I did not know what the heck i was doing.The den is full of electronics right now.I am gonna pass out in the floor.We are tired,but we have had a blast.Took some meds and now we are seriously gonna pile up with the pups and watch a movie.Hubby can sleep with his bow.

GE how is your Grandson's elbow - YOW that had to have smarted like no other !
Elbows are attached to our eyelids I swear .. You hit your elbow and you practically go Blind !

We got him a sling. I think he used for about an hour. It's sore but he seems fine playing video games. He took a big piece of skin off.  Thanks for asking
How you doing?

Boys are tough - especially when there are video games around!  LOL. I am glad he is feeling better.  Someone once told me that if your boys make it to 18 without a broken bone or stitches you are being overprotective. My 17 1/2 year old has never done either. But the other two - I am sure I am headed to the ER on a regular basis!  Boys are so much fun!

I can't stand Walmart clerks. They are never helpful. I wish I had a Kmart I love Kmart.

The guy that works in the electronics dept at Walmart here is 6'4" heavy set with gray hair in a braid down to his waist and a hearing aid. He is scary and really can't explain things to you. I usually skulk around till he's tied up with a customer and I grab anyone else.

  We have a clerk at the register that is so slow that I will do anything not to go by him  He is like Tim Conway in the Carol Brunette show when he played the elderly man that moved real slow 

  I always check out in the garden section or the self check out lines when I am at Walmart. One time I checked out in the Garden section and was buying a bra that didn't have a price on it, it embarrased the little old checker so much he gave it to me for free.

Me too, and there aren't any around here anymore 

They closed all ours down too. I bought the best pair of jeans at the Kmart in Chicago. Wish I would have bought more while I was there.

I remember when the one by us closed and the sales they were having trying to get rid of everything.

I remember that too and bought a whole bunch of stuff that was really cheap.
