I dont understand alot about this decision, and the aftermath of it. but have a feeling nothing is going to be done about anything from jury tampering, witness tampering, or Bozo or Mason's conduct.
And wouldnt surprise me none if Casey didnt get out of paying Zienda , the state of Florida. or anyone else.

Sometimes its like evil wins hands down no matter what.

This foreman is so loud, boisterous and self-righteous that I can easily see he just ran over the other jurors.

Had I been on the jury, juror #11 would be screaming "UNCLE" ... She's guilty. I would never have allowed a not guilty to take place. being surrounded by imbeciles, I would have forced a hung jury.

I think it need to be asked and explained how it went from a 6-6 vote, to all 6 caving in less than 10 hours to not guilty. These jurors did not do their civic duty, they just wanted outta there.

I honestly think that had any of us been on that jury, we'd still be there. The rest would have been persuaded or it would have been hung. Those are the only 2 options.

Yeah..If Monkeys had been there the verdict would have been different.  If I was on the jury and the jurors were tired, wanted to go on their planned vacations, etc..I would have held my ground..you want to get this done ..then do it my way or we are here in this room for eternity.  I really feel for juror #2..the IT GUY..THE LAST HOLD OUT..they must have really pushed at him..and he is not a teacher or nurse or previous daycare worker..not a mandated reporter..yet he knew aggravated child abuse had taken place.

I still say Florida Monkeys ought to be writing their school boards about the two teachers and their lack of knowledge as mandated reporters of child abuse, and the nurse in training should be sent packing..no nursing degree for you dunce..and aggravated child abuse was one of Casey's charges from day one of the arrest.

You GO GYPSY!!!

If there was 1 monkey on that jury, or potential monkey on that jury, it wouldn't have had this outcome because they would have held their ground and read through everything 100 times if it came down to it!

"The government can't keep trying you until they get it right. However, the federal government can try you for something the state government has also tried you for if they have a similar statute for those acts," criminal defense attorney Janet Johnson said. "In this case, they don't."

"The problem in this situation isn't double jeopardy," Priester said. "The problem is going to be having a crime to charge her with."

Even if the website is successful in gaining the support it needs to create a new federal law designed to punish crimes like the ones tried against Anthony, applying a new law against her in the future would be against the law.

"Even if it was passed, they couldn't then try her retroactively," Johnson said. "It would be an ex post facto law, and the Constitution prohibits that."

Miller said he spent an entire month searching for Caylee Anthony in the summer of 2008. He and thousands of workers and volunteers traveled to Orlando to help locate the missing toddler.

"We ended up and spent a little over $112,000 on this search," Miller said.

He also said he went to Orlando because Caylee's grandmother, Cindy Anthony, called him and asked him to come.

"Basically crying and saying, 'Can you help find my granddaughter?'" Miller said.
