I am simply furious he could treat two young ladies so brutally.

It opens the pain I felt in 2005 all over again.

Joran for being such an animal.

Aruba for allowing the spree to continue... AND THEY ABSOLUTELY DID.

People's lives mean NOTHING in that place.

The world has seen this now.

Sadly, I think many believe the lies....."there was not enough evidence", "Aruba did everything they could" and on and on and on.

WOW

Five long years we have waited for this clown to finally have his reckoning.

Now perhaps justice will be served for both of these wonderful young women who met their untimely deaths at the hands of this predator. I do think this guy is a serial killer and am sure they will find many more deaths along his trail of travels.

I , too, wonder when/if Anita will show up in Peru.

Seems to me that the Peruvian Prison System is just what Joran deserves.

A number of posts by Hazel, beginning at Post 235
http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106072&page=10

I am listening to this new VIDEO clip, and the reporter is mentioning "raqueta" as the attack weapon, so I'm pretty certain he means tennis racket, which belongs to Joran.

Also statements from Elton Garcia (35), Albanian native, naturalized Uruguayan. He was asked to confirm if Stephany won $5,000 from him; he said Stephany won S/. 2,000 (two thousand Soles not Dollars) in early May.

Albanian accompanied Joran in poker competition

http://translate.google.ca/translate...peru%26hl%3Den

http://elcomercio.pe/noticia/490019/...petencia-poker

More from that VIDEO clip I posted above:

According to immigration papers, Garcia had visited Peru on many occasions since 2008. He stayed from 3 days to 2 weeks. He arrived last April 29, as a tourist, and he registered for the International Poker Tournament as Uruguayan, as it is shown on PeruPoker.net.

A few hours earlier, Stephany's father also made declarations to the DIRITRI, this was his first encounter with "homicide personnel". He says he had no idea Stephany's money and jewelry had been stolen, because until then he had only had contact with "kidnapping officers"

http://translate.google.ca/translate...peru%26hl%3Den

A bit more from that VIDEO clip:

Flores confirmed that the racket (presumed attack weapon) does not belong to his daughter. Early in the morning personnel from the homicide division went back to the hotel, this time to inspect documentation that Joran could have left. They also went to the next door gas station to interview the MiniMarket employees, and found out Joran bought 2 cups of coffee at 8:00 am on Sunday. He went back to the hotel, went upstairs and came back down at 8:25 am with only 1 cup of coffee in order to pay for the days he owed. He left the hotel at 8:45 am with a black rucksack and a small brown handbag. They never saw him again.

http://elcomercio.pe/noticia/490019/...petencia-poker

This is from the Video, not the article:

When Stephany's father asked LE for his daughter's belongings, he was told that all they found in the room was an empty wallet and her cellphone.

Her chain necklace, bracelet, earrings, rings, money are nowhere to be found. Her father had given her $1,000 Dollars cash for her to buy a laptop. She put that money in her wallet and also Stephany has her own money as well, as he always gives his children an allowance.

One of her friends had said that Stephany had won some money at the casino, and asked if that money was found in her jeep. At the time, when Stephany first went missing, they didn't care about material things, but now they are trying to determine if robbery was the motive. He also mentions that Stephany had a Wii; they only found the 2 controls. If LE finds a Wii in Joran's possession, they can check the serial number against the receipt Stephany's parents have, that would be the proof, and if her jewelry is also found in his rucksack or handbag, even better.

Because they thought it was a kidnapping, Stephany's family asked LE to get all the evidence (fingerprints, etc.) from her jeep. Forensics unit spent 6 hours processing the jeep and said there were plenty of fingerprints.

I want to know WHEN Joran will get his first taste of prison life?? Tonight? Please let it be soon!!

My hinky meter is softly ringing over the 2 cups of coffee he bought. He's a more experienced murderer than before, and I think he probably bought 2 cups to use in his defense.

Reported this morning he also bought a loaf of bread
where he got the bread and coffe? sunday morning in lima is dead. if he went to the grocery store Wong he may get the coffe and bread but i thin they open around 10 am. well the have cameras and also an emergency hospital is closed to his hotel

I hadn't even read that, I was more interested in the video - which I just saw on TV.
And I didn't know that The NL's and Peru were negotiating on this treaty.
So if Peru would agree that could mean that Joran never will be in a HELLISH Peruvian prison. And his sentence would be converted to Dutch standards? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

Yes, Coffee and breakfast as a morning after, you know, the standard wake up together niceties. That is what he intended to say anyway I think, as an alibi, to bad he did not know she was gay when he killed her. Guess he needs to rethink that alibi.

here are Joran's passport shots from several years ago. God only knows where he's been since then. Also, and to add - he met Patrick in a casino in Holland - who knows what other women he met at casinos.

As you can see - he's been all over.

I think these were after he left Holland for Thailand. Not to forget, there were rumors that he was in Cambodia when running from the Thailand authorities.

It totally baffles the mind that after all this time, Aruba is still only concerned about their "tourism"

Correct me if I missed something, but I have heard not ONE word of condolances to the family of this young lady. Only excuses for the Murderer.

As angry as the Peruvians are right now, I do not think they would agree to such a thing for Urine...but apparently it did happen in the Thailand/Netherlands case and the many was freed.

NOOOOOO... I hope Peru tells them to get bent and keeps him in their territory. Hopefully they understand if they do sign that, Stephany will never get justice, just as Natalee did not.

Yes, I know that other guy that came out of that Thai prison; I think he got aids there. And he was imprisoned for heroin-smuggle. He was often in the news before he got out there. And when he got in Holland he was released after a couple of months or weeks....

Joran van der Sloot Netherlands spend 30 years in jail
Stephany Flores told his friend who was at home, but his fate was the casino. Alleged murderer was expelled from Chile and was arrested by Peruvian police

Hours before his death, the young Tatiana Flores Stephany Ramirez (21) shared the last moments of life with his close friends and college classmates, Carola Gallo Sanguinetti and Carolina, according to a report from the Dirincri.

On parting, 3:20 am, Stephany Carola lies to tell him to go to his house when in fact headed to Atlantic City Casino Miraflores. Her friend Carol, who had just left, he called five minutes later, but Stephany did not answer. Just sent a text message that says "I'm going up the stairs to get to my bedroom."

The Dirincri Stephany stated that her friend lied because he did not like to attend the casinos for his fondness for gambling. In the casino, Stephany met Joran van der Sloot, who had had previous meetings by an international poker competition. Along with him was the Albanian Elton Garcia, who was staying at the hotel like Joran Tac.

He said the trial may last more than two years and extradition is not necessary until the completion of the sentence.

Joran van der Sloot, held on Thursday in Chile, now come by land to Lima after the Chilean authorities hand him over to Interpol agents traveled to Lima to Tacna for that purpose.
