Something doesn't seem right about George losing money due to a Nigerian scam.   The online gambling makes more sense to me.   But yet, he wanted to tell LE that he was scammed out of the money.   I find it hard to believe that he, being former LE, would allow someone to scam him.  Everyone knows about those online scams!    Anyone think that maybe he was into some kind of illegal online gambling?   Is online gambling even legal at all?   Maybe he's afraid of getting into trouble if he tells how he really lost the money.  Just thinking outloud.

Hi Monkeys ...

After reading Shirley's interview I wondered if there is any validity to the story that George lost money? 

Made me wonder if it wasn't Casey who used/stole all that money ... and in keeping with Cindy's "cover-up" of what Casey is/was really like ... she told everyone it was George ... and George being the lackey that he is ... he went along to keep the peace?

Just me thinking!  Miss you all ... thanks for keeping me in the loop as a lurker!

Hi Newfie.   That makes more sense than GA losing money due to the "Nigerian scam".   You're probably right.

Newfie, I never believed George lost the money. I have always believed the $45k in credit card debt was due to KC's theivery and Cindy used George as a scapegoat. JMO JSM

Just one more thing they've lied to LE about.  I want them to spend time in jail ... even if it's just a week or two ... I want them to have the experience ... and maybe it will make me feel just a tiny bit better!

Newfie, I told Sheriff Beary he could have pizza if he would throw all of them in Jail. He never did and I don't think they will ever go to jail for lying. I HATE THE ANTS

Hi all, this is my first post here but I have been following this case very closely since the beginning. I thought the same thing as Newfie when I read Shirley's interview. It's funny, I never even considered this before.

I want them in jail, too.    I feel sick inside, thinking about how they knew for so long that KC needed to be in jail.   We were discussing how if someone (BOA, Mrs. P) had pressed charges on KC, maybe Caylee would be alive.   Damnit, C&G knew KC was a crook and a nut job.   Why didn't they ever hold her accountable for anything?   Why couldn't they figure out that she had no business with a baby?    They had to know she wasn't working, especially if she was stealing all that money.   Why didn't they do something to rescue Caylee?    JMO.

I don't know why they didn't do anything to rescue Caylee, unless they were scared to death of KC (which as we can see is probably true)

I'll bet poor Shirley has thought this more than once, but I'm sure she just wanted to keep the peace.
