BIDEN/OBAMA & IRAN

Obama wanted to talk Leader to Leader.
Here is some information on Biden and Iran:
Michael Rubin: Biden’s Blink on Iran
By Michael Rubin -
Published 12:00 am PDT Wednesday, August 27, 2008
(snip)
Yet far from assuming a moderate posture, "the elected representatives in Iran" allocated nearly 70 percent of the hard currency windfall into military and nuclear programs. The November 2007 National Intelligence Estimate affirmed the fruits of such investment when it found that Iran had pursued a nuclear weapons program until 2003. Although Biden's embrace of engagement coincided with Iran's nuclear warhead work, he acknowledged no error. He told reporters on Dec. 4 that Bush had "misrepresented" the intelligence in a drive to war and declared the same day, "You cannot trust this president." Such poor judgment was not lost on Iranian leaders. Indeed, one of Khatami's top aides suggested that they came to count on it. At a June 14 panel with Iranian journalists and political advisers,
former Khatami spokesman Abdollah Ramezanzadeh explained, "We had one overt policy, which was one of negotiation and confidence building, and a covert policy, which was continuation of activities."
He advised President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to soften his defiance, noting that: "During our negotiations and so long as we were not subjected to sanctions, we could import technology. We should have negotiated for so long, and benefited from the atmosphere of negotiations to the extent we could import all the technology needed." Bush has been a polarizing figure, but most senators realize that partisanship should never trump national security. In early 2007, evidence mounted that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps was planning terrorist activities in Iraq. An August 2007 National Intelligence Estimate found that "Iran has been intensifying aspects of its lethal support for select groups of Iraqi Shia militants" and that "Explosively formed penetrator (EFP) attacks have risen dramatically." The next month, the Senate considered a bipartisan amendment to designate the Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, an important step to aid nonviolent efforts to deny it funds and financing. Biden was one of only 22 senators to vote against it. "I voted against the amendment to designate Iran's Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organization because I don't trust this administration," he said. Distrust of the U.S. president is the nature of politics, but skepticism about foreign dictators and their Brown Shirts is the backbone of judgment.
No matter.
Biden's political games have made him Tehran's favorite senator.
As Gen. David Petraeus struggled to unite Iraqis across the ethnic and sectarian divide, Iran's Press TV seized on Biden's plan for partitioning Iraq and featured his statements with the headline "US plans to disintegrate Iraq." Biden's attack-dog statements about U.S. policy failures emboldened Iranian hard-liners to defy diplomacy.
In the Dec. 7, 2007, official sermon, Ayatollah Mohammad Kashani speaking on behalf of Iran's supreme leader, declared, "This Senator (Biden) correctly says Israel could not suppress Hizbullah in Lebanon, so how can the U.S. stand face-to-face with a nation of 70 million?
This is the blessing of the Guardianship of the Jurists (the theocracy) ... which plants such thoughts in the hearts of U.S. senators and forces them to make such confessions." The crowd met his statement with refrains of "Death to America."
Obama picked Biden for experience, but he might also have considered judgment.
When it comes to Iran, Biden could stare down dictators; too bad he blinks.

USAtoday:
Senator Biden urges caution on Iran (5/27/03)
(snip)
Biden, appearing on NBC's Today show, said the White House should take a go-slow approach on Iran and first finish its military missions in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"We've got a long way to go there," Biden said of Iraq.
Still, "We know they (Iranian leaders) are developing a nuclear weapons program," Biden added.
"They've been doing that for the last 10 years
, although the International Atomic Energy Agency is in there." Iran is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.

CNN, 12/03/07
U.S. report: Iran stopped nuclear weapons work in 2003
(snip)
Sen. Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said the fact that
Iran was several years away from nuclear weapons capability
meant "the international community has a significant window of opportunity in which to act to avoid the stark choice between going to war or accepting a nuclear Iran."
"But the Bush administration has long lacked a comprehensive strategy to take advantage of this window," the Delaware Democrat and Democratic presidential hopeful said in a statement. "Instead of continuing its obsession with regime change and irresponsible talk of 'World War III,' we need a policy that focuses on conduct change."
The International Atomic Energy Agency, the U.N. nuclear watchdog, has reported that Iran is cooperating with inspectors by providing access to declared nuclear material, documents and facilities. However, the agency also said Iran is withholding information in other areas, and as a result,
the IAEA's knowledge about the status of the program is "diminishing."
http://us.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/12/03/iran.nuclear/index.html
__________
"Dimishing" is right. Last I heard, IAEA was gone and the seals were off.

Please watch this video if you don't think Biden understands the enemy, which he knows very well all over the world as well as the people of America, he looks at it all including here in Tenn., Delaware and Illinois. Yeah, now these states are hurtin. Please note who is grabbing their papers and leaving the opposing podium at the beginning of the clip. We do not need another cheney who is hiding and can't do crap due to his own financial wrangling bad name. Lame Duck VPOTUS is not acceptable!
You by my opionion in May of 2003 would have had us at war with 2 countries. We are good but not that good. Especially as we wait for Israel to get all their modified jets, they only have 25 to date, awaiting 50 more which will put them at #2 airforce in the World. Look it up, it's there for all to see. They will reach a place as never before w/out refueling if you are paying attention. At the time of 2003 this could not be done, our troops where otherwise occupied. Don't blame someone for being a step ahead of you, this is there job and the public does not need to know all. We will be ready in good time for Iran. Troops may be key in Iran if we decide to save the civilians. Again I repeat May 2003 we already had troops in Iraq. And you are accusing Biden of not going after Iran at the same time when Israel was not ready? Look around there are not many on this planet who are ready to take on Iran with us except Israel.
Your potential VPOTUS you need to watch in the debate again, nuclear power as energy is not what she talked about, which I am all for, I grew up in Calvert County Maryland (look it up)we have nuclear power. She said Nuclear power for attack, this we do not need, atleast not in my backyard, how about yours? Think Trinity, 1945, Rice California Nuclear Testing. I am too young as are you probably, but again not in my backyard.

meaning carry in nuc's to the us which I highly doubt, they would have to come from here and I have family members who work at the local nuclear power plant ha! ha! It's all about knowing your opponent and the behaviors and we were just not ready, now the next POTUS will bring a different story. This means more money to me that I do not want to pay. I hate that I pay so much attention to this and Iran really bothers me more than any other.

ahhh. more fatcat BS.
Of course Iran has nukes that can reach the US. But they will use the 100 sleeper cells first. Expect a dozen cities in the US to be hit all at once.
And if anyone knows anything about Islam they have given us the 10 year warning. Obama sitting down with the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran is complete surrender.
911 was not the "big" attack. We won't have the big one until 2010. By then Obama will have surrendered more then to Iran. He will have given it all to the 57 states (OIC).

Tell me what exactly you know about the opponents behavior. Can you explain taqiyya? Do you know the verses in the Koran that tell muslims to kill non-muslims? Do you know the methods of Kalid Shiek Mohammed who beheaded Daniel Pearl and why? Do you know why Nick Berg didn't thrash when they cut his head off?

Iran doesn't have to hit us in the States. They only have to lob a nuke next door into the Green Zone, or hit Israel. Then it's full-scale.
Yes, there are some in Iran who try to change the country. They have no power. We can't afford to give Iran one single advantage. Their leaders support and promote terrorism; they house it.
It's no small thing that Obama would give a face-to-face, which the Iranians would use to our disadvantage. Obama can't buffalo BS us into thinking he meant lower level meetings. As late as the first Presidential Debate, he was saying he would meet anyone, anywhere (at a time of his choosing.) It's a whimping double-speak for he goofed. He should have known better; and, he didn't.
Obama's judgement is lacking.

Maybe Obama's judgement is not lacking, that is still to be determined.
Since he was born and raised a muslim he cannot leave the faith and become a Christian without being an apostate. That means that it's every muslims duty to kill him. That either makes a possible future president of the US a target for assassination or Obama is remaining true to the muslim faith and laying in wait like the Koran has taught him and will lay down his arms and surrender to Islam when the time is appropriate.
I'm not willing to take the chance that his judgement is not lacking when it comes to his muslim faith. Certainly Rev Wright's Chrisitian teaching didn't contribute to Obama's loyalty America.
Further, the freudian slip of 57 states clearly names the 57 states of the OIC, Organization of Islamic Countries. The OIC, btw, has a clear 7 phase plan for global domination including destroying the US.

We need to know facts about Obama's radical leanings. Elections are tough enough without asking the American People to vote for a MysteryMan. Obama is a carboard cutout, one dimensional candidate, and you can't see through the shadows behind him.
Rev. Wright is less transparent . . . much to the Democrat campaign's fear. Not talk about Rev. Wright? HA! He's a poster Rev. for Hate America! Rev. Hate Monger. If this is going on in churches across America, we are in serious, serious trouble. In this Reverend's case . . . WRIGHT is WRONG!
This morning we are hearing about Ayers, and an association with a Columbia Professor. I hope we will hear more about that one. Every day you use to inspect Obama seems to give you more of a view not of "Change We Need;" but, of RADICAL CHANGE.
Back to Iran: From the perspective of average Americans, (imo) we cannot risk our vote to (at best) a lukewarm American supporter. . . at worst, a radical opponent.

You are a great conspiracy theorist. Well, atleast half the US population does not agree with you and I guess we kool aide drinkers are just waiting for Obama to become POTUS and slaughter us all, Ha Ha.
In the meantime Ahmadinejad comes and goes in the USA like a rock star, who allows this? We do, our government does, do we know better than them?
http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/08/09/60minutes/main1879867.shtml
http://www.salon.com/news/feature/2007/09/26/ahmadinejad/
I'm just saying Israel is preparing for the battle and if they go in, as they probably are planning too based on the recent equipment purchases, planes to specifically target Iranian nuclear facilities. We can handle it as long as we have more of our troops ready, Israel does not have the numbers for the ground as we do. This man hates Bush, not American's. He is more of a spoiled rotten child than McCain, put those 2 together and you have declared a nuclear WW3, JMO. For the sake of the Iranian people I choose not to see this in my lifetime.
As to the Koran and Muslims, it's no different to me than wacko Christians, you can literally follow most religions and watch nuts come out of the wood work in everyone of them. Sometimes the Gods make people crazy, the Christian bible speaks of this. They are called Religious Zealots (Terrorist) for a reason. I think Obama's tolerance of others religions bothers Christians. Christians IMO have no tolerance at all for others. My conspiracy theory is that God dropped a bunch of different bibles with differing religions down on the planet and is now up there chuckling over it, so there. I just don't want the US to go back to FEAR leading us to make stupid decisions about our future. You have your opinion I've got mine, we are both entitled.

O/T
Wacko's = Rev. Wright. Agreed
Rod Parsley = Wacko McCain spiritual advisor = Agreed
Pastor James Hagee = McCain's Catholic, Jew hating Pastor = Wacko
William Ayers = Todd Palin
Succession from the US shows real Patriotism and love of country.
Conservative groups have spent more than ten million dollars on ads tying Obama to Ayers, and so far, Americans don't seem to give a heck. (This tells us what about how we're going to make that mortgage payment?)
Go ahead blast me some more, but I've got to be me. Everything you say about Obama/Biden, I can bring something equally disturbing to America about McCain/Palin. It's a dead heat.

The U.N. makes it possible! Supporters of a Liberal View who prefer the World Outlook to the U.S. interest and see nothing wrong with giving a platform to a perp.
And . . . Obama would give him more face time.

You mean lie to 'em! Bluff 'em!
Radicals are frightening, whenever and wherever we find them.
Stare them down at lower level meetings, send the message.
I'm not in favor of giving up one single diplomatic advantage.

Radicals? Can you tell the difference between a moderate and radical muslim?
Like those doctors who drove their car into Glasgow...?
fatcat is obviously one of Obama "truth police". Very sad that their campaign has to resort to such a thing. They can't seem to handle the truth, instead they cover it up.
