So how will Casey spend her final hours as an inmate in the county jail?

It's likely her last day in jail will be much like her first.

She will spend the majority of the day alone inside her 12½-foot by 7-foot jail cell.

Casey has been held in protective custody, which means 45 minutes to shower and one hour in the recreation yard, weather permitting, all without being allowed to have any contact with other inmates.

There are no video visitations with Casey's family scheduled on her last day. She hasn't taken any since 2008.

Casey's final meal at the jail will consist of turkey rice casserole, bread, green beans, cake and milk.

Her last day inside the confines of the jail will likely go off with few fireworks.

But once she's out, things could get interesting.

Good job on that Baby Daddy piece you did! I ventured over to post & my comment kept kicking back. I changed my email, maybe the reason?

3 things are still bothering me...

1: Juror & witness tampering. My gut is telling me that 1 or more jurors are very pro equal rights & anti dp. My gut is telling me that these same (1 or more) jurors were planted to sway the other jurors that are followers by nature.

2: I believe that reasonable doubt was started online & in the public in 2008 from July - December by using George Anthony. I'm going to research when the very first incest allegation against George or Lee was planted in people's minds. I think people that advocate against something such as the dp will do whatever it takes to save a life. Once I ( or somebody else) can find when the very first allegation hit the web, maybe it could be traced back to the defense of Casey.

3: I believe Casey started using drugs after she met her new group of friends. I keep remembering her chloroform searches...most especially "inhalation" & "chloroform habit". I'm wondering if Casey was starting to dabble in Meth. Those same ingredients are used in the manufacture of Meth. How long are drugs detectable in your system? It used to be said 31 days for certain drugs. Why was Casey stuck on 31 days? Seems weird to not say June 15 or June 16, instead she kept saying 31 days.

How can she do this with being a felon?

The 31 days drives me nuts because no matter how I do the math, I can't get to it, 30 days in June, so even if we say Caylee died on June 15th, which I think she did, I only get 30 days until the 911 call, am I missing something? Also it blows my mind that Casey originally said June 9th until Cindy remembered about the nursing home, I cannot understand how a mother cannot recall the date her child died, in this case, the day she murdered her child, how can she not recall the date of that?

Thank you cubbegirl..........I am so worried about the consequences of the jury for unleashing this evil into our society, I keep telling myself, no disguise is going to help because we have seen her with long hair, short hair, dark hair, light hair, hats, sun glasses, so IMO, plastic surgery would be her only option and I just pray no children pay the price for the jury's stupidity because once someone kills and gets away with it, they will kill again Drew Peterson and others have shown us that much.

The past three years have been full of surprises.
A recent surprise for me is that the jurors have not been outed by family, neighbors, coworkers, etc.
I felt when they tried to run it would only be a matter of days until someone who knew each of them would be contacting media with contact information.
What has kept these people quiet.

I am right there with you.  I keep trying to put the terrible thoughts I have out of my mind.  It is very difficult knowing that she will be walking out of there today free.   She may feel like a rock star leaving that jail today but she will have to find some rock to crawl under to find peace and safety.  People are not going to let her stay in their homes, islands or whatever forever- maybe weeks or a couple of months.  She eventually has to go out into the public and face people.   She still has to close her eyes at night and live with what she has done. 

 

I was talking to my hubs that knows a significant amount about leaving and entering the country.  She would not be able to get a passport with an outstanding debt to the IRS. They do let some debtors get one but normally not. As for leaving the country, as a felon she is welcome to leave - but the country she is entering has the right to refuse her entry. Once she is out, unless she commits another crime abroad , she always has the right to come back to the USA. I wonder if she has a passport already? She does not plan ahead many times so she may not.

Question: I assumed Casey would be a felon. Technically, is she really classified as a felon? The lying to cops & charges surrounding that were misdemeanors. The checks that she took from Amy - did Casey plea? If so, was it classified as a misdemeanor in this case?

When investigators searched her stuff, they found her passport, which her parents knew nothing about.

How could a psychologist who talked to Casey come out and give any info on her especially talking about seizures? I believe that would be unethical. It sounds like something the defense wants out there but didn't for the trial..if true.

ON the drug issue with Casey. In the interview with Ryan Pasley her "best friend" she has known since childhood he states to Yuri Melich she was using drugs and how they both were always against it.

The unfortunate thing is sociopaths have no conscience and I bet she will sleep fine when she's out, she sure never lets it bother her in those 31 days or in the jail house tapes when she tells Christina she can't be crying every 2 seconds, then another one she tells George and Cindy she hasn't been crying in jail, just reading and stuff........no heart, no conscience, no guilt, no remorse, most people NEVER get over the death of a child, but no, not Casey, Caylee meant nothing to her, just a meal ticket to feed off her parents like a leech, now it sickens me that she and OTHERS are feeding off of what's left of poor Caylee, but I do know this, God gave us all Caylee for a reason, I guess we are still trying to figure some of it out but some good things are coming that may help kids in the future. He does go on to say that she told him on Page 16.

Yeah, it just really bothers me that she searched "habit".

Do you remember Shirley Plesea's emails that were released in a doc dump? In a couple emails, it was said that Cindy suspected Casey was pregnant again. Could Casey have been huffing to expedite a spontaneous abortion/miscarriage, then maybe found herself in the habit of using? Maybe knowing that her parents were already disgusted with her, she felt unable to turn to them knowing her mom was already basically the one raising Caylee. Maybe, just maybe if this scenario fits, between the stealing from her whole family & Cindy suspecting another pregnancy, and if Casey was already loopy from just giving herself a miscarriage, maybe she flipped bc Cindy threatened to take Caylee from her. There was a fight between them as Cindy strangled Casey.

There was an obvious power struggle between them, Cindy is ridiculously overbearing, George is lazy & way too feminine to wear the pants in the family, Lee is maybe the most normal in the family but I still feel like I'm watching Star Wars when I listen to him speak, and Casey is a dysfunctional product of her inherited mutated gene pool.

I'm wondering if chloroform was ever really used on Caylee now. It's effects only last for 15-20 minutes. There would be no reason to duct tape Caylee's face if she was murdered by chloroform. Even if the chloro was held up to her nose & the tape wasn't on her mouth yet, the chloro would still make her pass out.

I'm thinking the level of chloroform found in the trunk stems from a mixture of things. I think Casey was maybe into huffing & chloroform is easy to make. An empty aerosol can is more dangerous than chloro when huffing I'm thinking bc at least with the chloro ut could be measured onto a rag...but an amount from aerosol huffing couldn't be as calculated. I think she researched how to give herself a miscarriage, formed a chloroform habit, dabbled in drugs with her new friends, then started getting mixed up in X or Meth.

I also think the level of chloroform found isn't just because Casey made it. I think it's from what she made added to the fact that Cindy & George cleaned out Casey's trunk. George knows how to detail cars from his car business. He could have used dry cleaning products on that carpet, which would help those levels rise. Cindy, or Casey even, could have scrubbed that carpet with carpet shampoo, which could also help that level rise. Either way, chloro should have never been found in the trunk at all, but I really think that other things helped to contribute to thlevel found.....Casey's homemade chloroform + Caylee's dead body + carpet shampoo + dry cleaning + pesticide mixtures.

She was sentenced to time served and given a years probation that she also apparently served while waiting for her trial.

yep...or casey could have simply spilled it...

See , to me that is effed up...how freaking hard is it to be on probation while incarcerated???

I hope that she and the ones who set her free are haunted by Caylee every minute of their lives..I agree with the poster who said that Casey will sleep just fine. She has in jail and she will in freedom..she has no remorse for her dead baby..how could the jurors have gotten things so wrong???

That is nuts isn't it? You do probation while you are in jail. Something doesn't seem right with that to me. It is when you are in the outside world that probation should be done. (my post messed up)

I'm assuming the probation was served in jail waiting trial because her release is unconditional(no probation)

I don't..I pretty much lost faith in him...very disappointed in him..and that saddens me cause I really looked up to him. But now looking back, a lot of things that he did to mess up this trial for his own selfish reasons have been pointed out to me...What was the big hurry in getting the jury picked? what was the hurry in moving the trial along? Computer searches done on the family's home computer for information about chloroform were allegedly done by Casey being that she was the only person home at the time.

Cindy Anthony shocked everyone by testifying that she was responsible for the searches. It was an obvious ploy to try and protect her daughter from the death penalty but it was a lie. The state came back with proof that Cindy Anthony was at work at the time.

I was almost sure Judge Strickland said when she was released, but I think JP changed that to time served.  I didn't like JP from the first minute I heard him, but I was in hopes I was wrong. When he allowed bozo a whole day for one juror, I knew then the man was not going to follow the rule of law.  I found his behavior appalling during early hearings, then came jury selection and I became very concerned. I never thought she would not be convicted, but I also never thought a judge would enhance a defense team case. I personally think there was jury tampering and just the fact they are all in hiding now tells me there is a lot more to this than we know so far. It will all come out eventually because I don't believe LE is through with their investigations.

Don't worry, KC will screw up again - she has been a screw up her whole life and that will not change no matter how much bozo tries to keep her out of trouble. We will get to see her on trial again in a few years and this time it won't be pretty. I am in hopes she goes to some foreign country and screws up.

I don't know...but like you I would like to think so.  I know one thing....mistakes were made and I think one BIG one was granting a chance of venue....she should have been tried in Orange County....Orange County paid the bills and the tax paying public should have been the ones to sit in judgment since they were paying for the trial.  JMO but as I look back I think a lot of mistakes were made to preserve JP's successful appeal counts ..he said they were only going to have this trial one time and he did EVERYTHING to ensure that happened...how sad!!

At some point all of the pictures, all of the videos and all of the lies written in print will be used up. The market value will begin to plummet. The dollars earned will be split with lawyers who will no longer work pro bono.
The dollars will have already been spent on cars and homes and clothes and trips. Eventually, they all will be the subject of sad commentaries on the back pages of 'whatever happened to".
They will all be forced to resume their dysfunctional lives in obscurity. A private hell, the same hell that gave the push for kc to kill her first (?) victim. It might be a nicer, more plush hell but it'll be just as ugly.

I can forget about kc but any attempts by any of them to use their Fraudation for extra spending money and out comes the keyboard. The verdict was a huge insult but the Fraudation is wrong and something we can fight. It has no place in legitimate missing/exploited children circles.

I know that I am only one member of the public. Businesses remain in business by making money. If there is no market for anything Casey Anthony related where they get media attention and money, then the story goes to the shelf that collects dust. We can make that happen quicker by showing a lack of interest. Emailing companies is a good idea. Showing support for the prosecutors and invetigators postive way is anothe tactic. I really like what I saw of Ashton, Linda and George. Also Yuri and John Allen. And I am making that known on the various FB pages, etc. And I am getting "likes" and positive feedback.

There is a countdown box on HLN, 10 hours , 28 minutes. I will make sure my TV is off. Or on something else, like a movie.

This may be the norm, but since this case has been so high profile and because safety is an issue, none of this is written in stone.

When an inmate is released they have to run them through NCIC to make sure there aren't any other agencies with warrants for them.  They have to get their inmate/commisary account reconciled either by having a check cut or by leaving a forwarding address.  Staff has to make sure the jail file is in order (fingerprints on file or need to have them taken again). The inmate has to return whatever jail property they were issued- 1 top sheet, 1 bottom sheet, 1 wash cloth, 1 towel, 1 mattress, etc... or they are charged for it.

I seriously doubt they are giving her any yard time today due to security issues.

Everything is "Safety First", so, if anything considered "normal" during an inmate release isn't safe for the staff or the inmate, it will be changed to fit the circumstances.

When an officer has to transport an inmate, it is generally NOT KNOWN when, again, "Safety First" as there can be an ambush waitiing threatening the officer's safety. 

Expect there to be much confusion from the public and some created, that LE will take full advantage of.  They may fly her off the property, they may also be using the helicopter as a smoke screen while Casey exists the building hanging onto Mason's arm like he promised. 

Either way, it's done.  Casey is free as a bird and is being released from jail.

But is it?  Casey has a huge Karmic debt that needs to be paid.

Casey will never know peace. Every day she will be looking over her shoulder.  Every time she hears a noise outside, she's going to panic thinking someone's stalking her.

We have to be careful not to interfere with her Karma or wind up with any negative karma ourselves from this case. 

We have been so caught up in this case, we've lost sleep, cried, hoped, prayed, got mad- all of these things affects our families.  Why should our families have to suffer because of this be-yotch?  I know my family means a heck of a lot more to me than this SLORE could ever possibly mean, and I'm very sure that's the same for everyone of my fellow monkeys.

Realistically, if Casey does go to Geraldo's island, she's still a prisoner.  She can't come and go as she pleases.  She's trapped.  And Geraldo will get his own karma for taking her in.

Ok, I'm done ranting!!

Could the silence of ten jurors indicate possible jury tampering ... jury tampering that in less than eleven hours of deliberation had the ability to render not-guilty verdicts in regards to all the prosecution charges against Casey that implicated her in the demise of Caylee?

Could it be that to avoid conflicting stories from emerging ... the foreman was the designated media spokesperson whose task in the controlled Greta exclusive was to further the defence's opening statement and closing arguments while negating the prosecution's case against Casey Anthony and therefore ... justifying the unanimous not-guilty verdicts?

Could it that for her own selfish motives ... Jennifer Ford (Juror #3) deviated and ... chose to take advantage of the timing and accepted media offers that one could only assume reaped her big bucks?

Could it be that Jennifer Ford's words in interviews making a futile attempt to justify the not-guilty verdicts will come to haunt her.  Could it be that her words will be the catalyst to an investigation into possible jury tampering?

Search Diver Files Lawsuit Against Casey Anthony

Badali was recruited by bounty hunter Leonard Padilla to assist in the search for Caylee back in November of 2008. He headed the dive team that spent hours in the water searching the Little Econ River in east Orange County.

Badali has filed suit in hopes of recouping the costs of his dive search.

I don't think that Cindy and George are victims any more. I never did think that Cindy was interested in finding Caylee, she just wanted to keep this story alive as long as possible and keep the money and sympathy coming their way.
Why hasn't George left ? Becasue he is a pansy and he sees the payday coming their way. Where does he have to go ?  Where did he ever have to go ? The house and everything was in Cindy's name, he worked off and on at never a career, but just some security low paying jobs. We have a company at the complex where I live, pays about $10.00 an hour. Supervisors and managers of course get more. And the guys with this company who do the cash trucks like Brinks, get way more.  But George never seemed to get above the entry level position anywhere.

Under the Concealed Carry laws in our state, you are told NOT to announce you are armed. If you open carry, it is obvious you are armed, but not CC.

My case scheduled for Monday trial settled today. Happy client = Happy lawyer. Was looking forward to trial but need the time to catch up. Looks like after 12:01 there will be a whole new wave of topics once Anthony is released. Hope that people don't financially support her whatever she may do. Her best case...she let Caylee rot after being wrapped, bagged and dumped. Nothing redeeming to support her financially.

Just a side note:  Casey already has a passport.  It was discovered in the early days of the investigation by LE..they asked George and Cindy if they knew she had one and they did not...I think she probably got it when she was thinking of going to PR with Amy's group.

I am not sure she is classified as a felon.  The lying charges were misdeanors.  The check felonies were handled in an unusual way because Strickland thought she would go down for the other charges..namely Caylee's murder.  So unless it states on her record the check felonies..she is free as a bird to travel where ever she likes.  The penidng civil cases do not effect her ability to travel abroad.

Good for him.  The Diver's risked there own lives in the search for Caylee.  They deserved a Million dollars!  :)

I am in the process of getting my passport renewed.  Hubby and I are taking two grandkids to Disneyland, California in September.  There might be a problem at immigration considering that old lady looking at me from the new photo could not possibly be an image of me.

SIL just dropped off 8 year old grandson.  While "retired" Papa is at work ... this young man is taking Mama to the movies (Cars 2) with some birthday money that has been burning a hole in his pocket.  Buttered popcorn and a drink will be my treat.  The release of the new Harry Potter movie implies the theater is going to be a zoo.  Anyway ... it has been a long time since I have been on a real date so I will tolerate the mayhem.

After being acquitted in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, Casey Anthony is making plans for her future – and according to one of her lawyers, that may include a career in law.

"She's been exposed to the criminal justice system and I think that might be a pursuit of hers," attorney Ann Finnell says in this week's PEOPLE. "Whether it's a paralegal or an advocate for social justice issues, I don't know."

Nor can I.  Out of curiosity I did a search about this and could not find a single list of countries that allow/don't allow convicted felons.  But from all the many comments I read, it seems that the majority of countries will not allow the baby killer to enter.  Looks like the slore will stay in the US.

One Anthony supporter, David Antolic of Orlando, said outside the jail today that he thinks Anthony's character has been destroyed by the news media and the protesters, too. In the early afternoon, he appeared to be the only demonstrator who could be categorized as an Anthony supporter.

That is what I thought.  Hers is prob not expired since they last 10 years.  Can she leave the country? - she has served her time for the misdemeanors and the felony(ies).  Even if hers was expired, you can get one in a day or two from one of the services that do this.  I had to get one in a couple of days and it is not complicated, expensive but not complicated.  So the DT coulda been working on making sure she has a legit passport.

I saw the lady who was at the court house w/the Juror No Ballz sign ...she was walking in front of the jail w/a big sign, couldn't read  it.  We're supposed to have live coverage here when things happen.  My bff who works at the jail said they had to do a lot of prep for Casey's release.  Such a waste of money for one person.  Makes me sick all the money she is sucking from us.

Unless she goes out of the greater 48 ... we'll know where she is.  There are too many people who followed this case and found it to be a complete unjustice to an almost 3 year old child.  I had faith in the justice system (I was wrong) ... but I also have faith in human kind ... and Casey is going to rue the day she left jail.  The rest of her life is going to be lived in a microcosm of hatred and loathing.  She'll wish she'd been found guilty and was still living in her little cell 23 hours a day. 

Okay .. the greater 48 ... and Canada!  You Go Canadians!  Love for Caylee goes way beyond geographical borders ... as does the injustice for her murderer mother!
