Camping~something I've never done, but my son wants to so bad.  I'm thinking of trying one of those "rent-a-tent" things next summer where the do everything for you and you just show up.   

LOL go for it Lovin - you will enjoy camping - we camp in a camper but started by tenting, you can also rent campers/pop up tent campers too, I love the concept of getting it all ready and then just showing up....now that is a great idea!!

When the weather cools off,there will all kind of critters out here.   

We are in Northern Minnesota and this time of year they start moving around - I am always so thrilled when I catch a glimpse of even just one of those critters - I will love to see an armadillo!

Update on Thomas, my daughter's cat. A lovely older couple whose daughter is a vet, is taking him for a couple months until my daughter and her husband find another place to live. They just lost their cat, and told them they can come to see Thomas whenever they like to.  I'm so relieved, because I really didn't want to bring him here because of Zoe and my allergies, and then I would have felt guilt if the allergies got out of hand and if the two of them would have fought.....

I'm relieved. Minnesota, beautiful I'm from Wisconsin, living in So Cal, hate it. Fall is so wonderful back there. 

No Rose ---- I was born and raised in WI.  I was transplanted to MN 11 years ago. The Fall is a beautiful time of year - but you do remember Winters don't you?  ahhhhh that is when Cali is the place to be.

Beautiful part of the state - we drive through that area each year in July when we go to Joliet, Ill for the Nascar race - wonderful area especially with them being on the lake.
