Hi all! I pick KuBear up at 4:30. The vet said it can take up to 10 days to get the pathology report back from the biopsy. That's all I know for now. Thanks for the well wishes for KuBear.

Klaas,I don't think you can be overly cautious.Better to be safe than sorry.
Now,do you want us to go kick his azz for calling you overly cautious. 

YES!  The doctor was basically a jerk and acted like I was stupid to even come in.  Then he acted like he was doing me some HUGE favor by giving me the prescription for the cough med with codeine, well guess what...I didn't say please give me something to help me sleep through the night!

Klaas...I am so sorry...tis damned Doctor is an AZZ....I hope he get diarrhea that lasts for eternity!!

Klaas - I am glad you went anyway.  That Dr does sound like a jerk.  I wish you mentioned the word malpractice when he said overly cautious.   

My little guy is in chronic renal failure.  I will be giving 100cc of Saline 2x a day. I am not thrilled with the idea of needles but leaving him there for a few days was not an option for me either.  He is on a special diet (K/D).  If he is not doing better by Friday, he will have to be hospitalized.

My mom died of renal failure and my dad has kidney cancer.  I guess bad kidneys run in my family.

I am so sorry to hear your little guy is so sick. I know you will do what you have to. I pray that he does better so he doesn't have to be hospitalized. Hugs to you and please know we are all praying things get better.

Mytime - how old did you say he is?  My pups are 13 and 11 and I don't know what we would do if anything happens to them.  I know they won't live forever but we don't want to think about it.

Don't think about it...it is tooooo painful. My Sammy will be 16 on the 4th...he has been and continues to be a blessing in our lives.  I lost 3 in 3 years and my heart will never be the same.

I decided I couldn't go through all 15 pages..I hope everyone and thie babies furry and otherwise are fine now...I need some Monkey advise.

We are having a 4th BBQ party. We invited a couple we really like among others. They accepted over 2 weeks ago. She called me yesterday, left a message to INFORM me she was bringing her 2 grandchildren...ages 7yo and 20 months and would I please have hotdogs for her g/kids and not put onion in anything as the 7 yo doesn't like onions.  No other children will be here. The 7yo is an obnoxious brat.......not the G/p's fault...the mother is a drug addict and the g/p's got legal custody about 2 months ago. The baby is mo problem...but the 7yo is into everything...she lies and is very sneaky..last time she  was here my DH found her in our bedroom going through the bedside tables drawers, in the computer room trying to do whatever with the computer She has no manners, interrupts adults conversations, is loud, rude and throws tantrums when she doesn't get her way. I know she has babysitters as they are very social people. What in the hell do I do??  Do I suck it up and say nothing? Or do I call her and let her know there will be no other children here and that this is an adults only party? Of course my first instinct is to tell her to leave the brat at home. I gotta do something today. I don't want to lose their friendship but I also don't want to expose my other guests to this child.  We have friends coming from Houston for the weekend as well.

Thanks for the suggestion A1....LOL...but, then what do I do to back that up!!  I think I just have to be honest....and try not to be too harsh with the honesty. I like kids and we have friends over who have kids...and if other children were coming I probably wouldn't think too much about it.  I think it just rubbed me wrong that she left a message and didn't talk  to me directly. Did ask if it was OK to bring the kids (there have been several times she has not brought them....like when we play cards etc) or if there would be other children and then the onion thing REALLY got my dander up.
