I don't have any personal knowledge of using chloroform. But will say that 8-10 hours sounds extremely long. Most anesthetics delivered by inhalation are relatively short acting. Considering the fact that chloroform was used in the past as anesthesia in such cases as dental and OBGYN , I should think it would  be an un- welcome side effect to have the patient knocked out for 8 hours after......I realize you said he mentioned "knocks kids" out and this is the part I am not certain of.......but sounds excessive.

Thirty seven year ago ... while in labor with eldest son ... I was given whiffs of something.  It put me in a "blessed" twilight zone.  Hey ... they could have knocked me out until it was all over for all I cared.  I figure baby and I would have a lifetime to "bond".

 

Anyways ... would that "something" have been chloroform?

No it was probably "liquid valium"  it produces "twilight sleep"

Diethyl ether was used 37 yrs ago, and used in delivery.  (Chloroform is really too toxic to use for delivery)  It was not till much later that valium and valium like drugs (those ending with "pam" as in diazepam.  There was also a twilight sleep used 37 yrsb ago in delivery.  It's a particular alkaloid from the datura plant.  This plant produces 5-6 alkaloids used in medicine.   Growing historic medicinal plants is a hobby of mine.  The datura plant has beautiful large long lasting flowers.

You would have to add her as a friend, however you can limit the profile so that she does not see all of you or your daughters information.

Right now on the Facebook the latest controversy is that it is not even really Casey.  Its a mess...a lot of attention this girl is getting for being a murderer. Outrageous.

I feel sorry for Zenaida.....I can't imagine being accused of kidnapping/murder, or any crime knowing you're completely innocent.
It's impossible to prove a non-event. The Anthony family needs to step up to the plate and apologize to this woman.
I don't see them doing that anytime soon.  IMO

Although I would really love to see ZG win a civil suit, I cant for the life of me see how this can happen....LE showed a pic of ZG and asked KC point blank if this was her nanny and KC said NO....just because the media went haywire with this ZG doesnt mean that KC should be held responsible for everyone elses actions.  Now if KC did accuse this ZG of being the nanny that would be a whole other story...can someone else help me see where she does have a case against KC cause Im just not seeing it....

It has nothing to do with bandwidth. It is annoying. It takes forever to go through all the posts as it is, with Caylee info. It is irritating to have to go through a bunch of stuff that does not apply.

I bet Casey faked the seisure so she could get some drugs.  Some of the seisure medication is like Xanax.  Have they ever released Caylee's medical records???  I am surprised she did not try to claim ADD so she could get those meds.  Many students sell their ADD medicine to others to get high.

Anything is possible, but I personally have never seen anyone fake a seizure to get the anti-seizure meds ie Dilantin, Depakote, Mysoline, Phenobarb etc......99.9% of the time the usual complaint is pain.

If anything, I think she took too much "zanny" and had a seizure as a result. I read that is a possibility with Xanax overdose.

The only way to get a seizure from Xanax is from  withdrawel seizure.  People who abuse have problems coming off Xanax.  Much like alcohol abuse (same receptors in brain are involved).  If there is a seizure (not everyone seizes) it is the next day or the next several days.

Beary says sheriff's office is working to solve Caylee's disappearance
11:48 a.m.: The Orange County Sheriff's Office is doing everything possible to solve the disappearance of Caylee Marie Anthony, Sheriff Kevin Beary said this morning when questioned by reporters after an unrelated press conference.

The child's mother, Casey Anthony, continues to be the lone "person of interest" in the investigation that Beary also acknowledged had played out daily in the national news.

Beary declined comment on what his investigators are doing in conjunction with the Orange-Osceola State Attorney's Office to prepare a case. His staff is working closely with prosecutors, he said.

"You might say it's a challenge," said Beary, referring to the investigation's complexity.

Sheriff's officials are meeting at 4 p.m. today to discuss strategy in the case, particularly in terms of patrolling the neighborhood where protesters regularly gather outside the house where Casey Anthony has been living with her parents...........

Valium is used for night time clonic seisures.

It may be by certain physicians, but Valium is not usually prescribed for seizures. Possibly Ativan while  acute perhaps. Personally I am not aware of any "seizures" that occur in at night. Night time clonic seizures would = muscle spasms and since valium is a muscle relaxer that might be appropriate, but muscle spasms are not true seizures and I believe it was said Casey was taken to the ER for a seizure.

I have night time seisures.  I take valium.

Any of the diazepine class of drugs inhibit seizures.  This includes Valium, Ativan, and other drugs in this class.  Physicians choose what to prescribe based upon availability, time of onset, clearance time, other metabolic properties, plus of course efficacy.

I blew up the second image to 200%, and it does look very similar.. same mouth, nose, and hair line. Just her hair is different.  Because of how she's standing, you can't really see the chest tattoo, though.
