Jose Baez lines up first public signing in Coral Gables
July 25, 2012

Baez will promote "Presumed Guilty," his best-selling book about the Casey Anthony trial, at 8 p.m. Monday at Books & Books in Coral Gables. The bookstore is at 265 Aragon Ave.

What dumbazz scheduled this?  I hope someone goes just to heckle him and posts a video of it on youtube.

He has updated the story -
 http://swflorida.blogspot.com/

Now he says the DOC reports her being back in jail as of today 7/27.  I haven't seen it anywhere else, I don't believe it....

I know this has been said before ... But don't you wish the biological father of Caylee and his family would bring a civil suit against her?

At 10:30 a.m., Friday July 27th, Ann Howard, communications director for the DOC says Anthony has no status change and is still under supervision. Howard did not know why a notification appeared yesterday showing Anthony was back in custody, nor why another office said she was 'in custody' this morning. ;-(

IIRC, there was a black Casey Anthony in Orlando.  Maybe that woman was the one being referred to.

Casey Anthony’s attorney comes to Miami

The Orlando attorney who made headlines last year for defending “tot mom” Casey Anthony is planting roots back home again. Miami native Jose Baez is opening a branch of the Baez Law Firm in Coral Gables next month, dabbling in criminal defense, personal injury and immigration.  ::snipping2::

Why open an office in South Florida?

I’m a hometown boy. I like to say I’m Puerto Rican by way of Little Havana.

What do you want people to know about you?

I don’t want people to think I only take big cases. I always say, ‘No case is too big, and no case is too small.’ It’s no longer about a national story or getting recognition: it’s about working hard and seeking justice for our clients.

For Casey it could be said, do many men, so little time. Half of Florida males would have to be tested to try to determine who may have  fathered Caylee. Jmo

A few people showed up for the book signing- mostly his employees from the looks of it - http://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/criminal-defense-attorney-jose-baez-signs-copies-of-his-news-photo/149569809

For those who like the Hal Boedeker page on Orlando Sentinel, he has a thread going about the book signing. There is a GREAT post by Reality Check- I'm so glad he went..... he says :-

I went to his book signing, there were a few people in there.
Off to the right was a table with his books on it - I grabbed one (didn't pay for it) and waited in line to meet the self proclaimed Attorney of the Year, or whatever.
The wait was long, about one minute......
He introduced himself with that smirk on his face and went to shake my hand. I declined.
I put the book on the table and he asked Who would I like it made out to?
I told him, Caylee.  He looked up at me ( the smirk was gone) and asked me how to spell it.
While he was writing "To Caylee" I asked him if he would mind adding to that and then have him sign his name.
He said "Sure, what would you like me to write?"
I told him "To Caylee, the only victim in this case, where justice was denied and continues to be denied".
He stopped writing after 'To Caylee' slammed the book shut, slid it back to me and asked me to leave.
I told him to keep the book as I didn't pay for it anyway!
As I walked  away I told the two people in line behind me - Whatever you do don't tell him he looks a lot shorter and heftier in person!  Monkey Devil!
He is the most arrogant person I have ever met.

God Bless him whoever he is.

More special treatment for Casey- she has been removed from VINE for her own "protection".

http://swflorida.blogspot.com/

The public is entitled to know when she is released from supervision aren't they?
I don't understand why the system keeps accommodating this felon.

What is she being protected from, is what I'd like to know.   It's weird.
