Polk County Animal Control is warning Lakeland residents to be on the lookout for raccoons after a 74-year-old woman was mauled by several of the animals Saturday night, the sheriff's office said.

Gretchen Witted of Waterford Drive in Lakeland suffered severe injuries after being attacked by five raccoons yesterday.

Polk authorities are currently looking for the raccoons. Meanwhile, automated phone calls and alerts have been sent to residents in neighborhoods around where the attack occurred.

Check back for updates.

Evening Monkeys,

Late nighters here are some of the cookies GS made. It has taken 2 days and we still don't have the witches fingers made or the skull cookies. He has exchausted grandma  We would do one thing and giggle, move, talk, talk. But we did have fun just took a long time. Hope everyones doing okay. He decorated and did all but a few oldest the oldest GS did.
