Okay I will donate a basket of cookies.

Did I mention I'm collecting the donations?

Only collect ones with M&Ms, then we know they will be safe!

Polk Woman Recovers From Raccoon Attack
Whitted, 74, Was Trying To Scare Animals Away

POSTED: 6:46 am EDT October 5, 2009
UPDATED: 7:00 am EDT October 5, 2009
LAKELAND, Fla. -- A Lakeland woman is recovering on Monday after she was attacked by five raccoons over the weekend.

Gretchen Whitted, 74, was trying to scare the animals away when they knocked her down. The attack was recorded by a neighbor on videotape.

The raccoons bit and scratched Whitted until a neighbor heard her cries for help and rushed to her aid.

Investigators spent their Sunday afternoon searching for the animals.

"She is gashed open around her legs, big large cuts on her legs from the attack. That's why it's important to understand we're not talking about a lot of little bites here. We're talking about a vicious attack," Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said.

Whitted was rushed to a local hospital. She is being treated for rabies even though doctors aren't sure she was actually exposed to the disease.

Bless her heart.   an angelic monkey

The attack was recorded on videotape?  WTF - I can just see it  "hold on - I know it hurts when the raccoons bite you but this is good video!"  Wonder if it is the same person that rescued her?

KCJ, I had to log in to tell you that very same thing has been happening to me. I have been having this issue off and on for a bit now,     I find it ridiculous and to me seems it would be criminal.

Oh, also KCJ, once you secured your account, do not be surprised if you get an e-mail from server wanting to verify that you requested your e-mail be forwarded to another account. I have been going thru this kinda stuff since my computer crashed back a few months ago. Good luck and I feel your pain.

my BIL does IT for a living and he recommended http://www.avast.com/eng/free_software.html - it will supposedly find keyloggers and viruses. Might want to start it when you head to bed or away from your computer for a while - the boot sector scan takes a long time!
