If George was so distraught this time...wonder what he had to tell the GJ?  You notice that Cindy is not being compelled to testify about anything...it seems George volunteered his testimony and I can guarantee you that Cindy will have the hammer out when he gets home. She already knows what he knows and what he is going to say.  George knows if he lies this time he's in jail too.  So I am thinking he talked about the gas cans and what was in the trunk of the car.  Testimony in a GJ proceeding is always pro prosecution. They don't ask for testimony from anyone they think will ruin their chances of an indictment.

Lala's, I don't think George volunteered to testify. I agree that his testimony will hinge around the gas can incident and LE is focusing on the trunk. He's also more level headed than Cindy. I think she would almost be considered a hostile witness.

Rob..(if you are still here)
After hearing all the evidence, does that Grand Jury just take a single vote?  If all the witnesses take an hour we are in for a long day!

They will take one vote of all jurors. They will not be voting on each witness or the testimony on the evidence they each present, but collectively as a whole to the overall charge on murder one.

It will be a majority rule type situation.
It does not have to be unanimous, only 12 right?

I'm going crazy today, have an insurance guy coming over in about 45 minutes.  I'm sure it will coincide with the GJ decision...will just be my luck.

WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF 11AM/PM FROM WHAT GEORGE SAID TO REPORTERS?

Klaas, & I don't know, i think we should be monitoring everything at 11:00 though, that's 45 mins. my time.

Florida time....11am has passed.

I'm just wondering if there is some kind of evidence or testimony that estimates Caylee's time of death at 11am or pm?

You may have something there!  I never thought of that.

Check out #18 on this map and the info - it's around 11:00.

12/19?

Sorry to disagree, but it is my understanding that 12 jurors must agree to return a true bill in Florida.

11:18 a.m.: Thanks to all who are posting comments and asking questions. Here are some answers to what several are asking:

/ If the grand jury hands up a true bill to indict, it is likely Casey Anthony would be arrested immediately. She also would be arrested before we all get news of what exactly is in the indictment. It is keep sealed until the person indicted is arrested.

/ Once the arrest is made, a judge reads the charges from the indictment.

/ You likely won’t see transcripts of the testimony until they are made public as part of the discovery process, similar to other evidence and transcripts that have been made public in this case.

Well, I hope they have some cameras at JB's office, cause that's where she is at. The LE should have a dozen cars with all lights and sirens on converge on the building and scare the beejeebers out of her. Maybe they will have their rifles trained on her as she exits the building! We can only hope.

I was also wondering if this is the time of Day caylee was possibly born?

IMO, I think he was trying to say at 11:00 am I will have finished my damning testimony, and at 11:00 pm, LE will come to arrest my daughter.

Where is Casey today, at home or lunching with Baez? And can someone post the Anthony cam link? TIA

http://media.myfoxorlando.com/live/mobilecam.html
I captured this pic earlier - just figured out how to make it a jpeg.  Uggggggg.  Maybe it was Casey going to Baez' office.  IMHO, if she is arrested he will want her to be surrendered by him.  By the way, looks like this was at about 10:30 am.

Grand Jury To Decide On Possible Murder Charges Against Casey Anthony

10:15AM UPDATE: George Anthony arrived at the courthouse around 9:00am Tuesday as the Grand Jury convenes to decide whether or not to hand up an indictment against Casey Anthony on either murder or manslaughter charges. More Details

Video:
Casey's father and his attorney spoke to the media briefly.
(10/14/08)

http://www.wftv.com/video/17710722/index.html

Morning Janet and thank you...I am a tough old bird...but the video got to me

ok, I am going to say something and I am basing this only on this video and on George's facial expressions.

George is NOT in denial anymore. He is heartbroken. He is grieving. George is going to tell what he knows and tell the truth.

I agree...when he said his focus is and always has been on his granddaughter...and then said I love my daughter, wife and son....was to me very telling....he loves them...but he is going to do the right thing for Caylee...JMO

Sunny ... your take is my take in regards to George's words and ... heartfelt prayer.

My Mother and Fathers' words to me as a child ... words that never had true understanding in my life until I had children of my own ...  "IT CAN NEVER BE WRONG TO TO RIGHT!!!"

I don't know if anyone told you, Wreck, but I see you have a blinking eye skull tumor -- the rarest kind. Treatment  requires 200 hours of repeating the word "d'oh."

Sorry! Sorry! Bad joke, I know.

I could be totally wrong, but if you remember in other interviews he has sort of a clipped way of speaking, and to me that 11am/11pm  came off as just as offhand thing, as in whatever time of day you have a minute to stop and say a prayer, whether morning or night.
