thanks 2nj, i suppose it could have been worse and happened on a saturday or sunday. oh well, its best to focus on the positive...itll make me run the dishwasher when hes done haha.

I hope you completed your taxes.  I filed for an extension which is not at all unusual for me.  I find the low penalties and interest worth the extra time it allows me.  Just couldn't get it together in time yet again.  Last year I hope I will be adding up all those cans of dog food!


Anna.....I always use Turbo-Tax and sent both in about a week ago.....well they both came back for the first time.....I got chills when I saw that....lol.  Anyhow I had transposed numbers on one entry....so I made the correction and just heard yesterday afternoon that both were accepted....thank heavens...!

Do you have until August to send them in...?  That does give you a nice breather.

My southern kids think it is time for me to move closer to them...."just in case I need help".....LOL....reminds me of your situation.  When I lived in Florida, there were so many
options for homes, condos, apartments.....but there were so many hurricanes too.  I do
love living near the water, but there is a lot of weather that comes with that.

Thank you for the picture of the storm damage.  I lost a bunch of live branches on one of my tallest pines....but just on one side....so strange looking.

Which monkeys have not checked in yet?

I think October 15th is the deadline for extension, Mere.  We didn't this year, but did use the extension last year & the year before....

Look!  Orbs!  They are caused by high humidity and droplets of moisture inside camera but a whole phenomenon following has evolved around the belief they are spirit beings.
