Good Morning everyone.  WTH?!!  JSM you had to have been so mad and scared.  I hope everything is ok!

Good morning         Morning Scary and 4 Donks 

Morning No Rose, what do you think of oue weather, seeing as we have about the same usually....i am ready for fall, but over this getting hot thing!!

Morning mission!

I love cool fall weather, today and tomorrow should be nice, but then some more heat 

-4 C last night and only 3C right now.  Had some chunky rain yesterday as well, more expected today.  Seems like we have gone straight from summer into winter. 

Have to decide what to bake today.  Apparently a 9 x 13 carrot cake lasts under 12 hours and was not enough.  I also think my fridge is leaking milk as there is none this morning and I had 2-4ltr jugs at dinner time last night   

That happens a lot right from summer into winter, and hardly any fall. The kids all enjoy your good cooking and baking  You might have to get a cow for all the milk, have to have plenty of milk for all the bake goods.

I took Josef outside and saw a lady walking two dogs. I turned Josef away from where they were walking and one of them got off the nose harness. It started after us and the dog attacked Joe. Finally she got it and started to hit it.  I had Josef by the leash off the ground so he didn't do anything to the dog. Once she had her dog controlled, I looked at him and he was bitten on the nose, the belly and the eye. I have been at the vet tonight and when I asked the lady "does your dog have shot records, she turned around and said, he only bit him in the butt, but I do have them upstairs". WTFE.... I have never seen her or her dogs, so they must be new here. Even my nosy neighbor hasn't seen the dogs or her. This dog was mean as heck. Poor Josef has been sedated, like in a coma. I wanted to let you guys know why I haven't been in the cage tonight. Thank God I have CC to help me through this because I am losing my mind. I will post pictures of the baby tomorrow. Animal control can't do anything until I know the owner. I don't care about the vet bill, I care about her POS attitude and don't want it to happen to another dog.

Poor Josef and you    That woman is to pay your vet bills, there is no way in he!! that she can get away without paying Josef's bills. I pray Josef will be okay, please try to get some sleep 

I don't know who the woman is, but if I find her I will ask her to pay the bill or take her to small claims court. Watch out monkeys, JSM will be on Judge Judy

JSM - yes those are egg noodles.  Hand rolled and cut as I do not have a pasta machine. Take a while to make but they are his favourite

Tevye - 

Cookie - yes I have a apple pie recipe.  I cut the apples in a bowl, squeeze some fresh lemon juice over them so they do not go brown, toss with about 2-3 tbsp of four, about 1 tsp cinnamon and start with 1/4 cup sugar, then taste them to see if they need more sugar etc. When they taste right I put them in the pie shell.  It is one of those things that I just do not measure as the apples can be so different in sugar levels.

We had an incident happen here with two dogs. The greyhound who wears that stupid coat, well one of the neighbors in the next block have two dogs, and one went after Connie. But they didn't realize at the time that Connie got hurt. It all turned out well because the couple with the two dogs felt horrible and paid for all of Connie's vet bills. I figured they would, they are nice people, she is a pediatrician and I don't know what he is, but just nice people. I hope it works out like that for you and Josef

But they didn't realize at the time that Connie got hurt. It all turned out well because the couple with the two dogs felt horrible and paid for all of Connie's vet bills. I figured they would, they are nice people, she is a pediatrician and I don't know what he is, but just nice people. I hope it works out like that for you and Josef 

No Rose, I don't think this lady is a nice person like your neighbors are. She didn't apologize and got really snarky when I asked for her dogs shot records. If the apartments don't find out who she is today I am going to post up fliers around the apartments. I think the manager girl is taking this very seriously as she is a dog owner herself. She was really upset when I told her what happened and the attitude the lady had after it all happened.

Poor you! Poor Josef!

I am so sorry to hear about this.

Animal control should hunt that dog down and demand to see rabies shot records. If they don't have them, then here at least, they quarantine the dog.

They also make note of vicious dogs. And that dog sounds vicious.

Thanks Brandi, animal control can't do anything until I find out who the owner of the dog is. Once I find out the owner I call back the guy who took the report then I don't know what happens.

What a dirty shame, I sure hope this all gets settled, who knows what dogs before Josef he attacked and what other dogs he might attack    The Chow that bit me that time, I didn't go to the adults who owned him, one of their little relatives was walking him when he attacked Zoe and I jumped into the middle and got bit. The reason was I knew they would abuse him and put him down, they didn't take care of their pets properly

Rosie..I saw those steamy balls for the first time at the drug store the other day..do they really work? I was gonna buy them as I buy every gadget that is shown on tv..restrained myself this time till I spoke with you about it...

Thanks Monkeys for your prayers. I am going to try and see if he can get his drunk azz in bed and if not will sleep on the floor with him. He looks pitiful. I am having trouble trying to post a picture of him. I am going to call the apartments in the morning and if I get that ahole guy I will hang up and call til I get the manager. Like my mom said, if it isn't a dog that other one goes after it could be a kid. I am very careful about walking Josef around other dogs and this lady should be too. It's not the vet bill (although I can't afford it) it is the prinicple that she didn't give a rats behind that her dog hurt Joe. Now I am

If she was not shocked about what her dog did than I would be worried the dog has done this before.  She should pay for the bill and prove that her dog has his shots.  Animal control would have a record if the dog has attacked before I would hope. 

Northern she wasn't concerned in the least. She just walked away after she got them back on the leash and told me she had shot records in her apartment.

Oh JSM---I'm so upset about Joe.  Somehow I have become fond of him vicariously or something.  He is such a brave little guy and has been attacked by dogs before and he must be frightened. Anyway, I hope his eye wasn't injured and he isn't feeling too bad.  The so-called owner of the dog which attacked him should be hunted down and made to pay his vet bills at least.
Let us know how he's doing.

  That's sweet Babybear. He was frightened because it came out of no where. I am trying to hunt down the owner and make her pay the bill.
