I believe that run away is highly unlikely but kidnapped interest me. "Sex tourism" is a developing industry in Venezuela. Aruba connects with Venezuela in several ways, fishing, cruise ships, transportation of freight etc. The fishing boats of Aruba know the coasts of Venezuela well because of marlin fishing. Is it so out of the question that Natalee was taken to the fishing resort town of LaGuaira, Vargas, Venezuela to be part of sex tourism? If she was last scene near the Marriott, there are fishing docks just slightly north of there. I certainly would hope that the focus of the investigation would center on that she could be alive and kidnapped.
