I'm late I'm late I got an important date, my long ears and fuzzy whiskers ......  Anyway I'm on my way to my tennis game and hopefully it won't rain and everyone will show up..  Its my birthday and I'm leaving a prime number for an even number - but it seems that I been saying that I was already that many years for 6 months already, like a price tag on an item that is far more expensive than it appears, or like the last chapter in a book. Almost there, but not there. Anticipation, close to climax. Despite the fact that I do find the celebration of birthdays often an imposition on friends, I like to take the time to reflect (well, I guess I'll take any opportunity I can to reflect, it seems). I pretty much know who I want to be, where I want to go, how I want to live. But I'm not there yet; I'm not ready yet. These things are clear. And it is okay; I have time.  I'm getting AARP cards now,  umm that means a certain increase in credibility, a certain acknowledgment of life experience.   So to all my monkey friends I will have a toast to you after my game tonight..  One last thought from this peeping squirrel, I never really understood why we use our birthday as a time to collect presents from our friends and to celebrate ourselves. Wouldn't it make more sense to celebrate and give gifts to those who gave us life? Thanks, Mom and Dad.... :D  :D  :D
