Conman said this subpoena was issued weeks ago?  Did  WE know about it??? I do not remember any discussion about it?  Conman has been drinking too much of the A's juicy juice....saying he guesses they weren't moving quickly enough for the state and then saying the Asses computer was down...does he think that can't be checked...and quickly!  But ALAS, he is coming in to save the day.He thinks he can suddenly get those documents off a broken computer ::MonkeyNoNo:: Watch out for a big white horse at the court tomorrow!!

The State Attorney's office is slated to ask Orange Circuit Judge Stan Strickland to force the Anthonys to produce information for the state's case against their daughter, Casey Anthony, according to spokespersons for the State Attorney's office and the court.

A hearing is set for 1:30 p.m. Friday.

The Anthonys have been asked to produce information for the state but have not done so, the spokespersons said.

Brad Conway, lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony, said the couple simply hasn't been able to provide the documents in the time frame prosecutors wanted.

"The Anthonys have no problem providing the documentation the state has requested," Conway said.

Conway said the Anthonys are going to give the documents to prosecutors and he does not expect there to even be a hearing on the matter tomorrow.

"We're in the process of turning them over," he said.

It's unclear what the documents entail. Conway, reached by phone this afternoon, wouldn't give any clues.

"I can't say," he said. "It's not something that I can comment on."

The State Attorney's Office also wouldn't say.

Casey Anthony is being held in the Orange County Jail under an indictment for first-degree murder in the death of daughter Caylee Marie Anthony. The state is seeking the death penalty in the case.

Casey Anthony will not attend Friday's hearing.

I bet the Anthonys wish they weren't attending tomorrow either, just sayin'.

Prosecution Could Seek To Hold Caylee's Grandparents In Contempt

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A hearing will be held on Friday to discuss documents the state attorney has subpoenaed from George and Cindy Anthony, but have not received.
The Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, said the subpoena for the documents was issued a few weeks ago. Conway said the prosecution apparently wanted the documents more quickly, but he plans to hand over the documents Friday morning.

The state could ask a judge to hold the Anthonys in contempt of court for failing to turn over the documents.

It is not known what information the documents contain or why the state wants them, but the judge has ordered the hearing to consider the matter.

Conway said he does not believe the hearing will be necessary because he plans to hand over the documents Friday morning.

Conway said the Anthonys have no problem producing the documents, and this is just a dispute over timing. He said he is preoccupied with other clients and the Anthonys have had a hard time producing the documents because their computer has been down.

Conway said he is working with the state to resolve the issue.

This request from the prosecution comes one week after defense lawyers for the Anthonys daughter, Casey Anthony, launched an attempt to get all statements made by bounty hunter Leonard Padilla and his associates thrown out of court.

Padilla and his team bonded Casey Anthony out of jail and spent time with her last summer. The defense said Padilla signed a contract not to disclose any information about her.

It is unclear if the documents the prosecution has requested are related to Padilla or another matter.
Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony. Caylee was reported missing in July 2008 and her remains were found in December.

Strickland is downplaying the significance of why George and Cindy Anthony have been ordered to the Orange County Courthouse. He will hold a rule to show cause hearing.

Casey Anthony is at the Orange County Jail charged with murder in the disappearance of her daughter, Caylee. The toddler's remains were found in a wooded area off Suburban Drive near the Anthony family home.

As part of its investigation, the state has ordered the Anthonys to turn over certain evidence. In the hearing, the judge is expected to ask why the Anthonys have not turned over the material.

Their attorney, Brad Conway, said this is just a timing issue, and the Anthonys are not at odds with the state attorney's office.
"The state has requested certain documents stored in the Anthonys' computer and it's not going as quickly as the state wants. The Anthonys' computer has been down, and they have not been able to produce certain documents," Conway said.

Conway would not say what the documents are, but he said he's confident he can turn over that information before Friday's hearing.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The case against Casey Anthony is headed back to court Friday. Casey's parents, George and Cindy Anthony, could be back in an Orange County court for a hearing Thursday.
The State Attorney's Office wants a judge to force George and Cindy to provide more information about their daughter.

George and Cindy could avoid the hearing if they turn over documents by noon on Friday. The state attorney's office will not say what is on the documents or why they could be so critical to this investigation.

The hearing is scheduled for Friday afternoon so Judge Stan Strickland can figure out why the Anthonys should not be held in contempt of court for not cooperating.

The Anthonys were supposed to produce the information for the state attorney's office several weeks ago.

The attorney's office says the Anthonys are not being cooperative. Lawyers in the civil lawsuit against Casey Anthony are also making similar claims.

Court Hearing In Anthony Case Canceled
Evidence Sought By Prosecutor Delivered

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A court hearing involving the parents of Casey Anthony was canceled on Friday.

Brad Conway, the attorney who represents the Anthony family, arrived at the courthouse around 9 a.m.

"I'm going to give the state attorney's office what they need. I expect the hearing to be canceled," Conway said.

Judge Stan Strickland had scheduled a rule to show cause hearing because of delays in getting evidence from the Anthonys to prosecutors.

"The state has requested certain documents stored in the Anthonys' computer and it's not going as quickly as the state wants. The Anthonys' computer has been down, and they have not been able to produce certain documents," Conway said.

i just dont think they gave everything they have and i too think they should take the whole computer and go over it. i dont trust them, i bet the got the info from the PIs about emails going back and forth so it shouldnt be too hard to see if they gave them everything. Could be an email about checking that one area for a body

At the March 25 hearing, prosecutors wanted Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, to reveal how the case was being funded and questioned whether he had any conflict of interest. They wanted to ensure he was not playing two roles for Anthony: defense attorney and story agent.

That would be a conflict of interest, Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton argued at the hearing.

Baez denied it, saying he did not have any literary rights to his client's story. He and New York-based defense attorney, Linda Kenney Baden, have retainer agreements with Anthony.

Then Strickland met with Baez and the prosecutors in a closed meeting to discuss whether there any conflict of interest.

Strickland returned to court and announced he found no conflict of interest.

Thank goodness that leak came out, I was starting to pull my hair out when I came in from garden and HLN said hearing canceled.

As to the sidebar - evidence can't be submitted at a sidebar.  So for the SA to be asking for the transcript for use at the trial, this is very curious.   What is said at sidebar is not public information.  Most sidebar's are off the record - and for good reason.  It is for issues to be heard out of of the jury and public eye.  It is where they decide and fight and get scolded by judge, etc.  I have been racking my brains for days on what evidence could have been introduced at a sidebar and all I can think of is:  contracts that the judge said will be allowed at trial, but not at this time due to tainting jury pool or nakid pics of casey for same reasons.

I didn't go back and watch the tape - did she type the entire time or just some?   If just some, she would document that they went off the record at ___________ time and who was at the sidebar and time back on the record.

Well if the docs were about emails between DCasey, Hoover and the A's then I bet they will compare what they have from each party.  Although Casey and Hoover seemed to get rid of a lot of there info early on....just sayin'

One question I have had since the forensic team went to the A's in January is ..why did they take a piece of drywall? 

Now that we know about the grave wax being in the car trunk, on the paper towels ...just wondering if maybe while doing a quick clean up at the house, after touching the body if Casey touched a wall in the house or garage while she still had the grave wax or other residue on her hands?  If the grave wax was cleaned off the wall..would it still be detectable with luminous or some similar substance?  Anyone, Anyone?

The hearing was a Rule to Show Cause Hearing involving her parents George and Cindy Anthony. Their attorney, Brad Conway, arrived at the Orange County Courthouse Friday morning morning and turned over documents the state requested. "The hearings canceled. Everything is done. Everything is settled. Provided the state attorneys office with the documents that they subpoenaed," said Conway to reporters as he left the courthouse.

A short time later Judge Strickland’s office was notified by Conway and the state prosecutions office that the hearing was canceled.

Conway said he doesn't know when the next hearing in the case will be held.

The court reporter was not typing during the sidebar. At 4:40 on the video, the camera pans over her way and she is just sitting there. I find it odd that the state asked for transcription of the sidebar at the end of the hearing when sidebars are private. Something else to make me go hmmmmmm.

Also, when finished with the sidebar, Bozo requests that the incamera meeting remain undisclosed. Stan says that he should not have to remind him that it will not be made public. Then there is a little tiff by the state.

Good afternoon all!  I'm guessing that the documents requested were generated AFTER LE seized the Ant's computers.  What do you all think?

GypsyDD- From what I read this week (post in last thread), if there was blood (even minute traces) on the drywall, it would still show up under luminescence.  If Casey touched the drywall and it was cleaned by someone, evidence of the cleanup would be chemically traceable.  It may be that a piece of drywall was taken to document the chemical fibers in the room (I'm assuming garage) that would/should be found in the dust of the room.  It may also be that the drywall may have absorbed some of the chloroform/decomp smell or chemical residue.

Maybe she was texting one of her friends.

I was scared to come to the cage this morning.  I just knew that the hearing would be cancelled and the documents would *amazingly* appear.  How do these horrid excuses for human beings get away with this?  It is so disheartening.  How dare Conman tell the reporters what to cover.  They are covering a murder trial, Conman, CASEY KILLED CAYLEE. We are still here for you Caylee.  Thankfully, Caylee's remains, (yes, George, all that remained were remains) were found and she is at peace.  We are the ones left needing justice so badly.  Even though it is moving so slowly, I feel down deep that eventually we will get justice.  Waiting for it sure is hard though.

Friday morning, Conway hand-delivered what could be evidence in the case against Casey.

"Why is it taking so long for these documents to be turned over the attorney's office?" WFTV reporter Mark Boyle asked.

Thank you , Ispy...I have always thought , since the drywall was taken , that Casey left finger prints loaded with DNA behind. Meaning she was moving the body..and her fingerprints would prove that.  I am thinking grave wax must have some residue of DNA.  Meaning ..when they searched the house after sweet Caylee''s body was found, they not only sprayed luminol in Casey and then Caylee's room..but also the garage.

How did George and Cindy Anthony avoid a court hearing this afternoon?

Their attorney, Brad Conway, this morning handed over information from the family computer that the prosecution was seeking in the case against the Anthonys' daughter, Casey. She is charged with her daughter Caylee's murder and remains in the Orange County Jail.

Conway wouldn't discuss the information this morning.

But WESH-Channel 2's Bob Kealing offered an update about the material this afternoon. Conway told the station there was "no blockbuster information at this time."

WFTV-Channel 9's Mark Boyle said, "Conway would not give any details about what was in the documents, so we won't find out what's in them until the prosecution makes it part of the public record." Anchor Martie Salt added that the prosecution isn't sure when it can make the documents public.

Central Florida News 13 explained that Conway turned over the papers hours before the Anthonys were scheduled to appear in court. "Conway said there was no delay in turning over the evidence. He said it was just standard procedure," anchor Jackie Brockington said.

Computer trouble prevented the Anthonys from handing over the documents sooner, Conway told Kealing.

Kealing added, "Obviously, Judge Stan Strickland and prosecutors were satisfied and felt there was no longer a need to require George and Cindy's presence in court."

The Anthonys are keeping a lower profile these days. Conway said his clients "are still struggling through it and they will for a long, long time."

Personally, I think that the latent fingerprints on the duct tape, the evidence in the car trunk of decomp, the grave wax in the trunk and the paper towels in the trash bag in the trunk with grave wax, as well as the evidence on the drywall they took from the A's home makes this a slam dunk as far as DP cases go.  There had to be more then one piece of evidence to tie Casey specifically to the murder and desposal..the backyard, the car trunk, the duct tape, the drywall evidence..and the dumping ground support all that.....her goose is cooked.  That is why we will see nothing but motions from the defense from here on out to try to discredit evidence, people and circumstances.  It will not work.  If Andrea Lyons had not entered the case, I think in the final hours, right before the trial, we would have seen a confession of sorts from Casey to get the LWP instead of DP.  We won't see that now.

Because Andrea is here to play this trial like a violin and get out of this all the publicity she can..not just for her book, though that doesn't hurt, but for her agenda of rallying against the DP and making a mark on Florida.

Sorry Andrea, I do not think Florida will get rid of the DP just because you want them too.  This case is not that kind of case.
She should have chosen another case rather then a middle class mother, living off her family and friends, lying and stealing from all of them, no remorse for what she has done ..and no poor beleagered background where she didn't know right from wrong.  Society feels no need to say that Casey's actions were our fault because she was some dis-enfranchised youth living in poverty and knew no other recourse or life style or morals.

I agree, this whole matter of the State requesting a sidebar transcript ("for purpose of trial"), and the court reporter filing an affidavit saying there was no such transcript made -- it is seriously confusing to me as well... as ANJ pointed out, sidebar is not normally the place for any evidence to come in to the record!

In addition, if something is discussed in sidebar that allows evidence - when they are back on the record, usually the judge will say something like,  " I will allow those contracts to be entered into evidence."  Heck, if a hearing date is agreed on they will state that on the record too, so this is interesting at least.  I almost feel as if the SA was not clear enough on what they were asking for, I kinda think they meant the "in camera" session.

And if my memory is correct, the stenographer did record and it was ordered sealed.......... at this point.  I think Stickland left the door open to be re-evaluated though.  I think SA wants something that was said in that "in camera" in writing so he can use it at trial, such as that the judge stated he would allow the retainer agreements to be introduced at trial.

Typically, the mics are cut and it is not recorded by the stenographer as the purpose is to have off the record conversations, admonishments or decisions.  Then what is on the record is usually stated by the judge.  If the judge slips and doesn't mention what is to be on the record you will find the attorneys saying something like:  " So, to be clear you said that you will allow______"

Just Me, how much would ABC have paid? Well, we know that Larry Garrison, who was spokesperson for George and Cindy, arranged their NYC interview (NBC IIRC?) for $6,000.00. For Casey, how many times more would this be worth– if they got that interview, how many times would it be run over and over and over again in this past year. It would be worth multi-times and Garrison/Anthony’s would have been smart to add royalties to their fixed fees for Casey’s interview. (of course, the Anthony’s have denied taking any money for interviews, claiming to have been the scam-ee’s at that point.


Note:  I believe the amount Larry Garrison supposedly collected was $6,500, but ICBW.  Hey, I wonder if Larry Garrison also has one of those not-worth-the-paper-it-was-printed-on "confidentiality agreements" from Baez...  but actually, I believe Garrison was working at odds with JB and was representing only George and Cindy, and not Casey, right?

It would serve Baez right, IMO, after that low-blow swipe he took at the State at the very end of that hearing... asking the judge to warn the State to keep quiet!  Jeff Ashton struggled not to go ballistic at that point.  Strickland even made some comment about how he (Strickland) was getting tired of it...

Thank you Fanny for posting this pic.  It is my all time favorite of little Caylee because it is timeless.  Being black and white and the style of her dress this could be a child from the 1920's up to today...it represents the need to cherish all children, whatever the era, wherever they are, to whomever they belong.

I know our sweet Caylee is in heaven now playing with puppies, chasing butterflies, picking sweet smelling flowers and having the fun I think evaded her in her childhood on Earth.  I think Cindy did things with her when she could, but I think her Mom should have been taking her to parks, swinging on swings, looking at bugs in the grass, arranging play time with other children.....but our Caylee has all that and more now.

GypsyDD- Excellent post!  ITA!  I think Casey's is in for a big surprise come trial time.  Someone has her absolutely (pun intended) convinced she's going to get off scott free.  Someone has been feeding her narcissistic ego that she can do no wrong, she can talk her way out of this, and she's invincible.  If George & Cindy were so sure of her, they'd be like "Bring it on!" because (as we've seen), they don't back down from a fight.  If George & Cindy were sure of Casey's innocence and her getting off: they wouldn't be doing interviews hiding behind their lawyer; wouldn't hide behind their lawyer at depositions (George); wouldn't refuse to answer deposition questions; wouldn't be pleading "grieving grandparent" when pressed for details/explanations; and wouldn't delay turning over computer docs.  I don't think Lee is feeding Casey's ego either.  He's covered for her before on relatively minor infractions with the parents, but murder is a whole 'nother ballgame.  He knows this game has fatally high stakes and I think early on he tried to talk Casey down from her ledge and get her to confess (to no avail).  I think Cindy swooped in to save herself esteem/pride/reputation/image, by "saving" Casey.  JMO  Someone outside the fam is feeding Casey a major lie that LE has nothing on her, any evidence is "junk science", the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment that will be abolished, they're going to get her off, blah-blah-blah.  Casey is going to be in for a jolting shock (and I don't mean the electric chair) and by the time she realizes what hit her, it will be way too late to plea anything and no chance of an appeal because everything's been well-documented in court and she's sworn her knowledge, agreement, approval, and willing participation.  She'll get the death penalty and Baez and Lyons will make a worldwide tour promoting their books/movies/documentaries/etc. or travel the world on the proceeds from their ghost-written works.  JMO

Personally, I think someone should set up a huge picture of Caylee (like as tall as the house and as wide as the front yard) on the public grass section in front of their sidewalk or maybe right in front of the curb in front of their house.  I think also every time they go to court, there should be silent protesters there, holding various large pics of Caylee from baby on.  I think Caylee's side of the courtroom should be maxed out, standing room only with people carrying those pics of Caylee.  IMO, the A's carry their little pic of Caylee and wear their little Caylee buttons and jewelry, not because they love her, but they use her as a shield.  They hide behind her as "grieving grandparents" when it serves them and their made-up foundation.  They act like their grandchild is some sort of talism to ward off valid, investigative questions. They act like they own the Court system and answer to know one...is it any surprise Casey is the way she is?  Wonder why Cindy is the way she is?  Her parents and brothers seem pretty normal.  There's a reason she acts this way.  I'm not saying this to be mean, but maybe she doesn't want her family, her world, the whole world to know how foolish she's really been always letting Casey get away with stuff?  IMO, deep down, she knows they have created an inhuman human being.  THAT, is what she can't deal with, so she's all about lie & deny.

Fanny Mae- Sorry I missed you!  Great post!  You are so right- JoJo has gone past the point of no return.  He has severed all ties with his conscience.  Your post reminded me of Romans 1:18-32 where God talks about people knowing who He is, but choosing to basically ignore Him.  He talks about how their thinking becomes futile, their foolish hearts darkened, they're worshipping things (like money), they're full of envy/greed/malice/strife/deceit, and they have depraved minds that practice and approve of those things(Cindy downplaying Casey stealing from her and her grandparents, Cindy saying Casey will be declared "Mother of the Year" when all the facts are known, George saying Casey's partying pics are normal and calling his lying/stealing/promiscuous/murdering(IMO) daughter "Sweetheart").  Does this passage sound like the Anthonys to anyone else?
FannyMae, you're so right!  George, just like Cindy has made choices.  He chose to throw Caylee away to save himself, Cindy, and Casey.  I hope Casey is worth it to him because it's only a matter of time before she throws him away.  He doesn't seem to get it that to Casey, everyone is expendable when their usefulness is all used up.  Maybe he & Cindy do get it and the reality is too horrifying to face.  Maybe they think if they can just defend her hard enough, they can drown out that screaming reality.  Maybe they can make her love them if they just try hard enough (IMO, I think that's the game Casey's played for years-she withholds her love/approval until they do things her way/give her what she wants- the blame game she plays with them in the jail visits).  Lee's seen this game before and played referee.  Casey knows better than to try this on Lee.  You can bet he has more on her than she has on him.

I agree,Fannie. George has a preferred public persona as do Cindy,Lee,and Casey. It looks good until you begin to examine their actions and find they are not who they say they are. I doubt that any of the four ever gave Caylee their undivided attention. They are too self centered and self serving to put that child above their own interests in her life or death. His own actions continue to position him further and further from the grandfather we hoped he would be. He has failed Caylee miserably in life and in her death. Who eats crab puffs at the Ritz while their Grand daughter's body is being recovered piece by piece? Someone with a dark heart IMO. There are no heroes in this family to stand up for Caylee but she has captured the hearts of many who will not give up until we see justice served !

Although this will be a very unpopular statement, I do feel some small measure of sympathy for Casey.  What chance did she have for normality with Cindy's enabling?  If Cindy & George had taught Casey correctly as a child and held her accountable and disciplined her when Casey first started acting up, I doubt they'd be attending a murder trial for their granddaughter, where their daughter is the only suspect.  It's so sad, so pointless, so avoidable.  This so reminds me of 1 Samuel 2:12-34 (Eli the dad doesn't hold his sons accountable and they end up dying and so does he-they all lose).  The only way out for Cindy & George at this point is telling the whole truth- I really hope they do just that, for everyone's sake.  If not, this will destroy all of them, IMO.

Blumonkey-Your avi makes me smile!  I agree with your post too...the only was Cindy & George could eat (at all) at the Ritz was b/c they already knew Caylee was dead and had come to terms with it and Casey, IMO.  Every parent I know would be hysterical and the thought of eating would be the last thing on their minds (much less meeting with ABC, NBC, or any-other-C).  They were well past anger, denial, and grief and had shifted into "How are we going to pay our bills and afford Casey's lawyers?".  I think they hid behind the grieving grandparents-please respect our-privacy b/c they couldn't pull off public grief.  The only two times we've ever seen George lose his cool was in his LE interview where he began to vomit and at the ZG deposition when he mistakenly thought Moran was asking him to describe the last time he saw Caylee (he became violently angry and threatening and began yelling about not describing that and was visibly provoked by the term "remains").  Yes, ITA with LE, George knows a lot about a lot of things.  IMO, both of those strong visceral reactions were subconsciously triggered because he actually saw Caylee's remains and that's why he responded so physically (vomiting) and forcefully.  I think Casey tried to bury Caylee in the backyard under the pool and when she found that to difficult, she temporarily settled for the playhouse/sand box.  I wonder if George disposed of Caylee prior to Cindy calling LE.

ORLANDO -- The parents of Casey Anthony will not have to appear in court Friday.

George and Cindy Anthony's attorney, Brad Conway, turned over evidence requested by the State Attorney's office Friday morning.

Prosecutors previously said the Anthonys had not turned over some evidence in the case against their daughter.

It is still unknown to the public what prosecutors were looking for.
   
Conway said the couple was not able to produce the information earlier.

Just peeking in to repsond to ISPY & BLUE'S post.

Yes, who could even think of appearing in a public dining room as your beloved grandaughter's bones were being picked out of the mud in the rain? Even the skies were crying that day.

I have seen grieving. Raw, bleeding emotions...I have held someone up when their own knees would not hold them upright and let them scream, and yell and cry. I have seen firsthand how NORMAL people react to a loved one being gone, even when it was expected due to a long illness. I have laid on a bed with someone greiving, and stroked their hair, and prayed with them and wiped their face with a cold washcloth, and stayed up all night till the sun started coming up and a few precious minutes of maybe an hours worth of sleep would come. And then it would start all over again. I have seen grief.

Even animals grieve for their young. I have seen a squirrel sit at the base of an oak tree and shriek for the baby the fell out of the nest. A mama cat will cry for her kittens if they are taken away too soon, or if one dies.

These people KNEW, long before Dec 11. I have always believed it was late on July 15 myself. But that is just my opinion. Spindy and George were frantic, but not for CAYLEE! For CASEY! The only raw emotions they ever showed was toward the media, the protestors that wanted the truth, and the searchers that tried to find Caylee. They didn't even know how to show real emotion at Caylee's Memorial service.

In some ways I am glad we have had this time to see the real Anthonys. I don't think anyone has any lingering thought of sympathy for them. ISPY, I know you have some little part of pity for Casey, as you saw the family dynamic that she grew up in. I have seem people that grew up in far worse condition, and they killed no one and they ended up having great compassion for others.

 Casey made her choises, but there is also the matter of just plain EVIL. The whole Anthony family, including Lee are infested with EVIL. I used to not believe there was such a thing, but there is. It is live and well and lives in Orlando on Hopelesspring Dr and in the OCSO jail. JMO

Fantastic post Fanny.  While I agree that many a person has walked a far worse journey than casey, I do have to say that it is just the fact that ISPY or any of us can feel a drop of compassion that sets us apart from casey.  The ability to find that drop of compassion for her circumstances - not her behavior is a sign of great character and rooted in deep faith that honors the journey of all souls.  Very hard place to go to on the surface, but a quality that makes me respect ISPY and her faith. 

Oh, I didn't mean to disrepect ISPY'S position. I fight my judgemental feeling all the time, and I know it is not for me to judge, but I do. It is hard to reconcile my feeling for another human being with what has happened to Caylee. I am personally way past feeling any compassion for any of the Anthonys and their band of thieves. I see Casey's face, and I see Evil. I admire anyone that can get past it. For myself, I can't. Maybe it is I won't. But it is what it is. JMO

But that's ok Monkeys -  C&G are playing games with the Judge and it is only going to hurt them.   What dumb azzes they are.   Don't you just know that it was Sindy's bright idea to hold on to this evidence until the last minute?  Doesn't she realize that she's only pissing off the judge and she is going to get slammed?   I can't wait to see her butt in jail at the end of this mess.

I agree Sassycat.  I think Cindy was playing a game with the court in holding back the evidence until the very last minute.  There was no way she & Georgette were going to appear in front of Judge S.  Not after he allowed the release of the autopsy report (after Georgette's award winning performance).

As long as she wasn't found there was a game played by Cindy, George and Dom Casey and their friends to have these sightings. Lots of motive for that .. money from the public, and it all looked better for Casey. Alos, it was much better press to be the Grandpartents of a " missing" kid than to be the parents of a murderer. 
I've been lurking and reading, but really, with no news, there is  not much to comment on. I want Cindy & Geroge to go down for something, even it it takes a stroke or two, that's how mean I feel today.

I just watched one of those old dateline shows where Dr Baden was an expert witness, what a joke he is, the defense came up with 8 other expert witnesses that said Baden was wrong. This guy died and baden said the small mark on his chest was the mark of a button where the wife and her lover tried to kill him, that there were no little bubbles on the wound, the defense blew up that picture so the jury could look at it, and it sured did show little bubbles which the jury said could have been anything, they asked him if he was a professional witness...LOL...duh of course he is, just the same as him and Ms Piggy are paid professionals to distort the Caylee death. It was eye opening, and sad too that all the experts that exist today will sell their souls for money.

ISpy you always give me much to think about. The behavior of George and Cindy can be better understood if they had known about Caylee's death from nearly the beginning. I have always rejected that idea but what you said in your previous post is believeable,especially in light of George's reaction to "remains." You have a very logical thought process.

Another day in the wait for justice for Caylee. Justice for Calylee will not bring her precious life back. Personally, at this point, between the two of them I think they are more worried about their own potential liability in this case after the fact. Jo Jo has found a way to turn his anger outward at those of us that will not look the other way at their antics. It sure is alot easier than looking at the face of your beloved granddaughter and realizing you helped create and cover up for the woman that both gave birth to her, and took her little life. I will never get past their ability to continue to know what happened to this child, and dishonor her memory by perpetuating lies and scams.

Fanny thank you for the video. I cried my eyes out as I've been really down the past few days over Caylee. It comes and it goes and it comes again, mostly from the antics of the Anthonys. I have to hold strong to my faith in the prosecution as I do believe they have concrete evidence, like Casey's fingerprints on the duct tape, amongst other things. I pray everyday that a jury will see the facts as they are and turn a deaf ear on the fabrications of the defense.

By Pat Brown, Criminal Profiler:  Sometimes you just have to wonder whether in one hundred years, people will look back and think that we have one ignorant court system in 2009. Today there is possible “damning evidence” in the missing Caylee Anthony case. A small skeleton was found near the Anthony house and there was duct taped supposedly associated with finding of the remains.

But, say the attorneys, this doesn’t mean that Casey Anthony, that poor excuse of a mother that Caylee got sicced with in the fickle finger of birth parent fate dice roll, still won’t have a defense. It is pointed out there still may still not be enough evidence to prove Casey killed her daughter. It may not be clear if it was homicide or an accident. Even if it is proven Casey was involved in the death of her daughter, the defense may be able to “prove” that Casey was not in her right mind when she did it.

Is this another OJ Simpson case in the making? Another dog-and-pony show that will end up with a not-guilty verdict? Will our idiotic crap shoot of a jury system fail again to provide justice to the victims of murder and put a killer back on the streets? Will some well-meaning, but untrained jury going to be suckered by yet another bunch of lying, justice obstructing, snake oil salesmen attorneys? Why is it if we are seeking justice in our court system do we allow attorneys to “defend” their clients by lying for them and about them?

Why is it that a woman who “loses her child” for a month, parties hardy without a concern about that innocent little girl, lies about leaving Caylee with a babysitter, and abandons the family car with a corpse-like smell in the trunk given the luxury of an entire overpaid staff of lawyers to bail her out of her crimes?

Why is it that when this women commits obstruction of justice over and over, she is still handled with kid gloves and not charged with those crimes as well?

Why when all Casey’s actions add up to homicide can’t we just put this evil woman away with a short, sweet, and logical professional jury system that knows what they are doing?

I am disgusted when I see how much money goes to garbage like this, how much money is wasted on a simple case, how much money and time is spent on what should be an open-and-shut case. There are hundreds of open cases, missing and murdered children and adults who deserve their share of the attention and funding.

Our criminal justice system is corrupt and worthless and it is about time we admit it is nothing but a moneymaking scheme for attorneys and court experts.

I say make everything above board, require video cameras during all discussions between attorneys and their “innocent” clients, and send defense lawyers to jail for obstructing justice if they gain information from their client that proves them guilty. Let them defend innocent people and miscarriages of justice, not violent criminals they know are guilty.

Anyway..I just wanted to say that Cindy and George will get their come uppance..in the fact that trying to live off of charity for missing children and the runaway home  will come to  a meager end.  They have only x number of months to ride the Caylee Gravy Train...then they will be a footnote on the page of "How not to react when your daughter murders your grand daughter".

I have been on the money trail with several others for a year..and from day one of this case.  Much has been turned in to OCSO.  But the fact remains the A's can only reap benefits for doing virtually nothing for so long..as evidenced by the Milsteads bankruptcy.  At first it may look like a gravy train..but social services takes hard work, knowledge, ingenuity and selfless action.  Since they and the Milsteads lack in those categories ..they just haven't figure out yet that to run a non profit takes sacrifice and dedication..I know I was an executive director for many years.  My salary...$12,000.   Which mostly was put back through buying things that the budget couldn't cover that the service needed.

So my point..they won't be around much after the trial and conviction..the gravy train ends there.

Fanny Mae- Excellent post!  You really captured the gritty rawness of true grief perfectly.  I admire you and wanted to say thank you for being there for grieving people.  That's a hard position to be in, wanting to do something to take it away, make the pain stop.  It takes a lot of compassion and strength to go through that with someone.  Most people try to escape someone else's pain.  You are one special person.  We witnessed some of that raw grief a few days ago, as we came upon an emergency situation.  You're right-that's not what we've seen from the Anthonys (except George possibly at the memorial service).  Believe me, if it wasn't for the Lord, I'd be shoving most of you aside to take care of Casey.  Several times during the protests at Anthonys, I thought to myself, it really IS a good thing I don't live in FL... I'd be in jail and not too sorry about it either.  So please don't think I'm downing you for the way you feel...definitely not!

ANJ- that's nice of you, but to be totally honest, without God, I'd probably want to kill CA, GA, Casey, and Lee myself.  Looking at some children today, seeing the joy in their faces, seeing how different each one is...it's just such an amazing miraculous thing that they're brand new people.  It's hard to explain in words, but children are such a gift.  Anytime one of them is hurt (much less killed) makes me want to go after somebody.   So you can see, any compassion is definitely not me, on my own.

Fanny Mae well-spoken!  That is the difference, exactly...we treasure Caylee.  And we can't understand how the Anthonys don't.  Was talking with someone yesterday and related how my mom always told us "If you do drugs, you won't have to worry about anyone telling the police.  I'll turn you in myself.".  She meant it and I knew it.  Like so many of you, I can't imagine parents supporting their child's lying to LE, washing evidence, withholding evidence (JC Penney receipts), etc.  One of our family members acted stupidly a number of years ago and was sent to jail and my parents let them sit there.  They said "Maybe next time, they'll be a little more respectful to the Judge.".  No sympathy there.

Blumonkey- actually, I think it's the other way around!  It's you who gets me thinking.  Your post reminded me of one other time we saw George really lose his feigned nice guy-we don't really know what's going on demeanor.  I'm not organized like some of my fellow monkeys and maybe someone can find a clip, but George and Cindy had gone to jail to visit Casey.  IIRC they were in the parking lot, on their way in, and a reporter was basically jogging to keep up.  He shoved the mic close to George and asked if George thought Caylee was dead. George immediately exploded and I really thought he was going to grab the guy.  He began yelling something like "Don't say that!  Don't you ever say that!  I'll beat the XXXXXX out of you!".  Cindy quickly hurried him inside.  IIRC when they came out, they hurriedly walked to their car, speaking to no one.   George's excessive use of facial expressions during interviews has always bothered me.  First of all, there are too many changing facial expressions while he's speaking.  Secondly, they are over-exaggerated and appear forced.  Thirdly, they're incongruent with what we know about George from Casey's, Shirley's, and Rick's emails (temper, deceitfulness).  We clearly see him fawning and patronizing LE during his LE interview.  He alternates between fawning sincerity and stubborn arrogance in various interviews.  Then we have the Ohio Caylee-Bear pics where he appears to be at an LE Reunion.  His abrupt departure from court when he failed to block the autopsy report release and his defiant,maniacal John Morgan deposition exploded his nice guy/grieving grandparent persona to pieces.  He appeared mentally unhinged.  That kind of anger isn't a one-time event, that's a learned behavior.  JMO  I'm thankful to God that I didn't live at that house.  Every one of the Anthonys tends toward physical confrontation when they're angry.  I feel sorry for Caylee and am so glad she's in a safe place now, surrounded by real love and people who know how to love her.

Grievances against Baez are in process of review through escalation to the gievance committee; in essence, onging.

Regarding Macaluso, he is under ADP evaluation and monitored on a weekly basis with a current trial date of 9/23, IIRC. More to come on this one, I again say I am doubtful he will be able to participate in this case.

Northern Rose- thanks for video compilation of Casey Anthony.  The ending scene of Caylee's memorial got me thinking.  I think one of the reasons we ( and so many people like us) are so committed to Caylee is because her own family is not.  That just makes us more determined.  Every time Cindy, George, Michelle Bart (in her little letters),  Brad Conway,or Jose Baez slam us bloggers or any member of the public for loving Caylee and searching for the truth, they just add fuel to the fire.  We just set our faces against the wind and our shoulders to the grindstone a little more each time.  The Anthonys seem to think intimidation and insults will work.  Maybe that's the way they've always done things in their family IDK, but we're not backing down and we're not going away quietly.  It's very telling that the Anthonys are far angrier (and always have been) at those who dare question them, rather than those who supposedly took Caylee.

Thanks Blink for the update, I know you have many pokers in many fires.  You're the best!!!

Caylee, Sweetheart -- Good Morning, Sunshine!  Do you realize what a very special little girl you are?  So many people have seen your pictures and heard you sing "You Are My Sunshine" and watched videos of you swimming and dancing and doing other fun things!  Everybody who learns about you comes to love you.  You take a special place in their hearts, and they can't forget your beautiful eyes and precious smile.  Your short little life has blessed many people and brought a lot of hearts and minds together to care about you, Caylee.

We are so shocked and sad about what happened to you.  And we are angry on your behalf -- we are outraged that you were not protected, and that your life has not been honored as it should have been by those who were the closest to you.  But we are glad that your earthly remains were found, to help tell the truth about your story.  Those who hurt you and lied about what happened will be held accountable.  They will be punished.  Many good people are working very hard to make sure of that.  And though that can never bring you back or even make things right, it will help us to feel a little bit better about the world we live in.

As we approach the time when you would have been excitedly looking forward to your fourth birthday party, justice still seems a long way away.  There are so many questions left unanswered, and so many things -- old and new -- to be upset about.  But we promise you Honey, we will not abandon you or the cause for justice.  We will never give up.  You know Caylee, it is touching and inspiring to see how many people are passionately, closely following your case.  Yes, you are a very, very special little girl, indeed. 

Bless you, Caylee Marie, and bless all the Monkeys and other people out there who care so much about you and about justice for you and all the other beautiful, innocent children who are hurt by evil people.   We're sad you are gone from this world, but glad that you are safe now.  You can be your happy, sweet self, and know that we are in this for the long haul.  We won't leave you.  We will continue to care, and watch, and wait.  We will always remember you, Caylee.  God Bless You -- You are our Sunshine!

When I get here first thing in the morning I look forward to reading ISPYand sometimes DESI'S late post. But surprise, even BLINK was here during the night.

You all make posts that make me think. Most of mine are driven by emotion and frustration. Sometimes I even manage to say something to make you laugh. It is good to come here and listen to the voices of reason. DD is another voice of reason. You all keep the posters like me, who would spin off in a rant, calmer and more focused.

I am glad to see all the posters who post here. It gives me reasssurance that Caylee has not been forgotten. We are still here for her even when news is sparce. Especially when the Ants or Bozo do some of the incredibly crass and tasteless things they are proned to do.

I am proud to be in the company of Monkeys that want to see the wheels of Justice roll over the ones who caused and enabled this awful unjustifiable murder of an innocent two year old. I just hope it includes the parasites that are gleefully sucking the blood money out of the little bit of Caylee's remains that were found in the swamp.   

Hey, monkey fans!  I'm back from vacation and raring to go.  I have to echo Fanny's post. As long as we are here, remembering Caylee, justice will be served.  I feel very priveleged to be in the same company as our stellar monkeys.  Everyone's thoughtful and insightful posts are what keep me coming back.  About the A's reactions--all of them seem so damaged to me.  Their anger is so inappropriate to the situations.  I can see being angry at the murderer, at the situation the murderer placed them in, but anger at the very people who are trying to help?  As has so often been said, something's just not right with them.  When my 15 year old niece killed herself in May, her father's grief was so overwhelming, her mother still cries at random moments--but the A's are just mad.  George's responses to queries about the reality of Caylee's death are so over the top odd, that I, who originally felt sorry for him, now believe that he saw her REMAINS, GEORGE, and is now acting a poorly performed role of grieving grandpa.
Just my two cents--(how much is that with inflation?)

FannyMae- good to see you!  I hope you know I wasn't preaching to you the other day, honest!  LOL!  I completely understand how you feel and why.  Thanks also for the pics you post of Caylee.  Each one reminds me she's not a case number.  To me, it's kind of like pictures from the Holocaust...the reminder is good for me to do whatever I can to make sure this never happens again or to anyone else.  I thank God for Coroners, Medical Examiners, Emergency Response people, searchers, and people like our Nut.  I could not do most of that, the things they have to deal with.  That takes a special kind of human being, IMO.

attract positive and loyal friends.

I thought MIKI was talking about Holly, who used to go on National TV when we first found out about Caylee. I can't bring up her name, but at one time she was a board member on the CASEYMARIEANTHONY Foundation. I had also heard, but I don't have a link, she was Krunk's supervisor' daughter, who lived close to the Anthonys. IIRC

SUTTON: Absolutely true. Why aren`t you sharing that information with the police, with the authorities? Those phone calls will just drive you crazy because it`s playing the game of, I know something you don`t know, and you know, a child`s life is at stake.

GRACE: But why -- let`s go out to our shrink tonight, Dr. Patricia Saunders. Why? Why? Now, the brother didn`t necessarily say, yes, you`re right, I found out all kind of stuff that the police didn`t find. He seems to be just going along with her craziness.

PATRICIA SAUNDERS, CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST: Well, I think it`s part of her being the center of attention, Nancy. This is all about her. And there`s no anxiety in any of these recordings, other than her being very angered by the fact that she can`t get the boyfriend`s number. Where is her worry about her missing child? It`s not there.

GRACE: Well, you know, probatively, I`m talking about the evidence -- let`s go out to Marc Klaas, child advocate and president of Klaas Kids Foundation. Marc, the fact that she`s saying, You found out all this information about where Caylee is -- what information? Why aren`t they giving it to police? The fact that she has to set up a meeting to -- and preview videos, probably of you talking on this show, Marc Klaas, but watch videos of the coverage of her case before she can cooperate with police? I smell a rat. I think it`s that rat.

MARC KLAAS, BEYONDMISSING.COM: Yes. I have to agree with what the psychiatrist just said. Her arrogance -- this woman is sitting in a jail cell, possibly facing the rest of her life in prison, and she seems to be trying to call the shots. She`s given everybody this business. I actually think her brother is doing a credible job of trying to get her back in line and trying to help in recovering the child. He keeps reminding her that this isn`t about her, that, in fact, this is about little Caylee.

**What an accurate perception by the Psychologist!  This whole cat-and-mouse game Casey has been playing.  Had they not found Caylee (by the grace of God), Casey would have delighted in her little game of stringing LE on and refusing to talk to them.  In her mind, they would have been dancing to her tune, much the same way George and Cindy have been for years (IMO).  What I find most ironic and fitting is that she's trapped by her own game.  Because she was using Caylee as the bait, she got caught in her own trap.  She lied and gamed herself into a situation that required finding/producing Caylee to get out. She couldn't get out of jail without Caylee.  Caylee, her stumbling block to freedom (so she thought),  literally became the stumbling block that brought her down.  She expected LE to buy her lies and let her go.  When she realized she'd trapped herself with no way out, then she became enraged at LE.  She couldn't produce a live Caylee, she couldn't contradict her Zanny the Nanny alibi, and she couldn't produce a dead Caylee with all that evidence=  CHECKMATE!  Game over! God is soooo good at exposing people like this.

Three more things on this CNN Nancy Grace interview...Casey's answers and Lee's responses first.  Casey never directly answers any of his questions.  She adds extra details to beef up her statements and uses qualifying words like "actually", "most definitely", "even", "still (as in still feels like she's o.k., still feels like she's close to home, still my best feeling), and the infamous "absolutely".  Notice in contrast, Lee's responses are one word and he usually fires back with a logical, probing question.  He's playing along, by giving her the floor (so to speak), but he's really not buying her story.

Notice the last sentence of Marc Klaas's comments here:

MARC KLAAS, FOUNDER, BEYONDMISSING.COM, FATHER OF MURDER VICTIM POLLY KLAAS: Yes, Casey can do many things. It was asked rhetorically why she wouldn`t take a polygraph exam. She should for the very same reason that I did, because she can clear herself and help law enforcement move forward.

She is giving them nothing, they`re desperate to find this child, only she can help.

**She was basically holding Caylee hostage for attention until Roy Kronk found the body.  Want to bet she hates Roy Kronk?!  He found Caylee before Cindy and Dominic Casey could.

Lee's statement here has always bothered me.  Why would you need to "just figure out how we can be clear on whatever we're giving them"?  The truth is the truth is the truth.  What's so hard to figure out about clearly speaking the truth?  Is it because Lee knows Casey rarely tells the absolute truth?  Or is because the Anthony family language is lying and deceit? IDK.

There's a reason she tells Lee he has the same information.  I think she's getting a kick out of her little riddle.  At this point, I wonder if she's hinting to Lee that LE is taking her info too literally.  Remember she says this just after she flatters him, telling him that he's found "a 100 more things than they [LE] did".  As someone in this interview commented, "How did Casey know that Lee had found 100 more things than LE did?" Lee never says in this conversation that he's found anything.  Hhhmmm.

What could Casey gain by directing Lee/Cindy/Dominic Casey to Caylee?  Did she think that the evidence would be gone by then?  Why would she let Cindy know Caylee was dead?   The thrill? Or the ongoing agony of Cindy never really knowing if Casey did it or not?  I mean, if Casey was as spiteful as she claimed, wouldn't she want Cindy to know she killed Caylee?  Or was the thrill in deceiving Cindy into defending her, only to spitefully confess at a later time (once she got out of jail free and couldn't be charged again) that she actually killed Caylee and destroyed Cindy in the process?  What would Cindy gain by finding Caylee?  The opportunity to get rid of the evidence and "save" Casey?  That would give Cindy a trump card on Casey, but it would also make her subject to Casey (Casey could turn her in if their relationship went south).  This family dynamic is so convoluted.  Do we have any resident psychologists in the cage?

o.k., I've spent way too much time talking to myself tonight!  ::MonkeyWink::  So, I'm heading out.  Hopefully, someone can toss me a bone here (make that a banana) and help me figure this stuff out.  I am glad I'm not LE-I think a number of those A's are crazy!  LOL!  I feel sorry for Mr. and Mrs. Plesea.  How awful!  I'd hate to be related to Cindy or George.  No wonder none of their co-workers or long-time friends (if they have any) aren't stepping up.  The fact that they seem to have no long-time friends seems very suspicious.  Isn't it interesting that even Ohio Jim isn't speaking out for George in any fashion.  Maybe he's having behind-the-scenes heart to hearts with George hoping to get George back on the straight and narrow.  I truly hope so. Yes indeed Casey has trapped herself by her own game.  Too bad for her and hopefully Justice for Caylee. 

I'm not a psychologist but it would be very interesting to see what a psychologist has to say about this very strange (IMO) family.  It seems Casey has always communicated in a purposefully vague manner in order to keep the other person guessing what she really means and how much is truth or lies.   When Cindy discovers the truth by means of investigation by talking to her friends, looking through her things etc. she then uses this info to gain the upper hand at the appropriate time.  This cat and mouse game makes life very complicated and IMO there is no logic to their actions.  Nothing seems to be straightforward and out in the open.  I don't believe that Casey ever has a plan other than instant gratification and staying one step ahead of Cindy.  This is all just my opinion.

Caylee Anthony Murder:  The one notable element in this video for me was that Cindy is clinging steadfast to the belief that Casey is innocent, but when I watch George, I see indications that lead me to believe that George has come to terms with Casey and Caylee, and the real potential that Casey killed Caylee, but he is unable to share it because either Cindy cannot cope with it, or he doesn’t want to talk publicly about it because it could obviously affect a fair trial for Casey.

I get this feeling from the subtle moves George makes when Maggie Rodriquez asks Cindy and George questions about their belief in Casey’s innocence.

    RODRIGUEZ: How are you so sure? Why do you say with such  conviction that she didn’t do this?

    C. ANTHONY: We love our daughter. We stand behind her. We know what kind of mother she was.

    RODRIGUEZ: Is it because you love her (ph) daughter that you need to believe this or because you believe unflinchingly that it’s not possible that she did this?

    G. ANTHONY: I don’t think it’s possible for my daughter to hurt anyone. And she wouldn’t definitely hurt her own child. I mean, my gosh, I’ve seen the love every single day that she had for her. You know, she took care of her being with us. So, I mean, she wouldn’t hurt her.

George’s answer here also just strikes me as a cover for his real feelings. “I mean”, “my gosh”, and “so I mean” sound like he is trying to convince us of something he doesn’t likely believe. He also shrugs his shoulders several times, which indicates doubt or a lack of conviction for what he is saying. George also seems to be on the verge of breaking down through much of the interview. If he has potentially come to terms with everything, we would expect that he would be very emotional. Cindy, on the other hand, has strength and does seem to get some peace from her beliefs about Casey.

Cindy looks slightly different in this video. Did you notice? There is a heaviness about her here, unlike I have ever seen before. I see it most in her eyes. I wonder if she is facing depression, or if she is just exhausted from a nightmare year. The other potential is that she is on some type of medication to relax her or help her cope with the emotional turmoil in her life.

I can’t imagine being George or Cindy Anthony. I can’t imagine the hell their lives have become. I don’t blame them for what Casey did. I think Casey was a very troubled and difficult woman to deal with, who put George and Cindy in positions that were nearly impossible to deal with. If you’ve never known the fury of a psychopath, you couldn’t possible understand the predicaments psychopaths will put you in. They put you in places where there is no winning solution. I suspect Cindy was ready to kick Casey out and fight for Caylee, and Casey’s ultimate revenge against her mother for that threat was to kill Caylee. How can anyone predict such insane behavior?
 
I also believe the Anthonys when they say they just don’t know what Casey was thinking, and that they still have questions. That makes sense. Casey likely has refused to answer questions. She probably has used excuses like she fears her conversations will be released to the media, she’s still afraid of what “these people” might do to her parents, she’s too stressed out to talk, and if the Anthonys have pressured her, I am sure she has threatened them on some level.
There was one interesting slip that Cindy made that was notable here             

    RODRIGUEZ: What finally prompted you, Cindy, to call the police?
    CINDY ANTHONY: I could sm…when I saw Casey, I could tell something was wrong.

 I think she didn’t want to bring up the smell of the car again. That is what truly concerned Cindy, and she has already told us that. Of course, today, she doesn’t want to believe that Casey could have left Caylee in the car, dead and decomposing, and I am sure she doesn’t want to open that can of worms again. She is reminded about it every day, if she turns on her TV.

When Rodriquez ask the Anthonys, “Do you fault her for anything?” I think George’s response is interesting. Watch how he presses his lips together and up. It’s indicative that George is holding back.


Do I think the Anthony’s knew their daughter was a liar? I do, but I don’t think they thought that equated to the potential for murder. There are many pathological liars who never murder.
While people are hard on the Anthonys for standing beside their daughter, I wonder how people would feel if they stood up and threw her under the bus? What would be more outrageous?

Morning, all!  Popping in for a few before I'm off and running.  Hey, Fanny Mae!  I post late b/c I think best when it's late-trying to break the habit though, it's not conducive to real life!  LOL!  How did Casey do it, anyway????  Oh, I forgot!  She took Caylee to Zanny-silly me!   ::MonkeyEek::  I think George & Cindy either weren't home on weekends, took care of Caylee on weekend mornings, or are just plain liars.  I know when I miss my sleep, I am less than my best.  I can't imagine caring for a toddler, running on so little sleep.  I get short-tempered, impatient, and irritable when I'm overly tired.  Adding drugs/alcohol hangovers (neither of which apply to me), plus self-centeredness, lack of self-control and anger management issues-you can imagine what Casey was probably really like with Caylee.  I'd almost be willing to bet, Cindy & George came to bat for Caylee more than once (IMO).  Now think about removing that one safeguard and Casey full of spite and here we are.  I'm thinking every time Cindy began holding Casey accountable, Casey threatened to take Caylee and leave, and Cindy backed down.  For them to say she was a good mother, I think is just an outright lie.  Casey's behavior is way too lazy and self-centered to party all night and get up and care for a toddler all day (we know that by her emails, texts, social network pages). Sometimes I think I'd really like to know what she really did all day with Caylee...on second thought, I probably am glad I don't know. ::MonkeyNoNo::
 

Trimm- thanks for posting this!  Eyes For Lies is one of my fav bookmarks.  Her work fascinates me.  ITA about George's answers here.  Anytime he says "gosh", I just brace my self for the load of manure he's about to dump.  He's trying way too hard to come off as Mr. Innocent and guileless and failing miserably.  We all know, given what we've seen from all the family members, that it's: normal; acceptable; and standard procedure for them to lose their self-control and curse/yell/push/shove/attack/brawl.  George can just drop the Opie Taylor-Andy Griffith "gosh"  and get real!  I too have seen George take a deep breath, purse his lips together tightly, and control his emotions before he speaks.  Then he starts talking and launches into his facial expression gymnastics (eyebrows going up, wide fake smile with lips tightly closed, adding shoulders shrugging with palms up, etc.)...and you know not to believe a thing he's spinning.  As far as Cindy goes, it's much harder for her to accept that she could raise a child who killed her own daughter, more than it is to believe Casey killed Caylee.  IMO  I think the part Cindy struggles with is not that Casey killed Caylee, but who/what Casey really is.  She knew when she smelled the car and most definitely acknowledged it when: she removed the pants and the knife from the car; washed them; and searched the backyard with George.   I still say there's something wrong with the yard work in early July.

Yes, Juju, Casey murdered Caylee. I personally think it was a rage killing, months and possible years of pent up rage against Cindy, and the focus at the time was Caylee, who she felt was causing the added stress Casey had endured all her life from Cindy. A perfect storm of occurances, but an act she had planned and thought about before. If it hadn't been that night, it would have eventually been another. JMO

  Agreed.  They're not after truth, it would cripple their  victim status. However they've established the cornerstone of a scam foundation to bilk money out of people, and really it has worked.  Even though we've all torn it to shreads in here, once these scams gain any momentum they seem to work. It makes me sick to think of G & C not working, being celebs, vacationing, boating etc. just by the fact that  Caylee was murdered.
It's best for some other chump to have "done it" so that the EVIL EMPIRE doesn't look so evil, but at this point, Caylee is gone, never coming back, grandma and grandpa and uncle are comfortable with the infamy. The only argument the defense has is what they call junk science and that too will fail. Trying to place the blame on someone else will be laughed out of court. EVERYTHING POINTS TO CASEY. The state doesn't even have to have a motive to win this case.

This case of the tragic death of a small child demonstrates how continuing advances in forensic chemical analysis are aiding the investigators in developing clues and the prosecutors in developing effective prosecutions of criminals who commit these sort of heinous crimes.

9/10 - KC spends one night with RM and AH, has Caylee. AH sees Caylee when KC leaves on the morning of the 10th. Last time AH sees Caylee. AH does not see KC again until the 30th. The 9th is the original date given by Casey, CA and GA as being the last day they saw Caylee. However, it is believed that CA convinced KC of this date because when KC spoke to the 911 operator she originally stated it has been "31 days" since I saw my daughter. The call was made on the 15th of July, which would make KC's original statement more correct as the 16th of June is the last time GA saw Caylee alive. It is believed that after the 911 calls ended the family started looking at the calendar and CA got confused and convinced everyone else the 9th of June was the last day. It wasn't until after the Father's day video was found by LE that the family realized the 16th was the last time they saw Caylee.

I was reading this and you know what I find strange, it was only after LE found the Video they confessed they were wrong on the dates, even SP was convinced the last time they saw little Caylee was the 9th. I believe Cindy had a hand in convincing SP the 9th was the date. After all, who forgets the last time they saw their grandchild, it was fathers day for goodness sake, Cindy remembered taking her to the nursing home I know she did. Indeed I'm sure there was a little celebration for Georgie on that day too. Why would you remember an obscure day like the 9th and forget what happened on a much more important date. It doesn't pass the smell test, I think they all decided to cover up "SOMETHING" that happened on the 14th-15th, forgetting there was video evidence on their own camcorder. I think this is also what KC meant when she said "I didn't tell them anything" meaning I'm sticking to the story we made up.

I wondered if it was possible that KC was thrown out much earlier and that Caylee was staying with G&C, then on the 15th KC came back to the home, took her or wanted her back and killed her out of spite. Maybe thats what the knockdown drag out fight was about, fighting for control over Caylee. Cindy was more concerned about how she was perceived by others than about Caylee so she wanted to hide the fact she threw her leech of a daughter out.
                                                              Can always tell when there is not much info out there....I begin to speculate again....gives me something to do. ::MonkeyHaHa::

    All of this has always been about Caylee, I hope that when the trial starts and the evidence squashes any doubts about who did it, ppl. will realize that Caylee herself was able to point to her killer. Even though her own family has run as fast as they could away from justice for Caylee's murder , I really believe she will get the justice she deserves.

As for CMAF, I hope it will eventually fail and not morph into other scams. Look at the Milstupids, they may be broke at this moment but like most hucksters, they are able operate just under the law's radar and create new cons. The A's are their willing proteges and are learning the ropes, it helps that they have no regard for truth and honesty. I see the A's making corrupt charities their profession.  Time will tell.

Hi Monks old and new. Checking to see if there is anything new. Also it has been bugging me about the birthday card that Jesse gave to Caylee for her first birthday....what in the heck could it say that is so interesting to the defense???  Did he write something on the card that could be misinterpreted? Great post ISPY..I agree with every one of your observations.  Casey has shown she can be hell on wheels from the jail audio of those first phone calls...and that was in jail, speaking with adults.  Imagine what that insolent rage and me first attitude could do to a little child almost 3..who could repeat what she saw and heard.

State Prosecutors Depose Casey Anthony's Mom

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Cindy Anthony was called to the State Attorney's Office on Tuesday to answer questions in her daughter's murder case and only Eyewitness News was there. Cindy was deposed Tuesday to answer questions under oath.

It has been a long time since Cindy Anthony agreed to answer the questions of people involved in prosecuting her daughter for murder, but Tuesday she was under subpoena to answer.
Caylee Anthony's grandmother walked into the State Attorney's Office with no fanfare or fiery comments, choosing instead to say nothing. She was called in just as quietly to answer prosecutors' questions under oath.

When she was questioned by investigators two weeks after she reported Caylee missing and said it smelled like a dead body in Casey's car, she completely changed her story.

"I find it very hard to believe that Caylee, Casey had an opportunity to put Caylee in there for a short period of time to get the car stench that bad," Cindy told investigators in August.

Tuesday, months after they stopped communicating with investigators, there were a lot of new questions, some about the evidence taken from the Anthonys' home in December, which investigators say matches evidence found with Caylee's remains.

Eyewitness News asked defense attorney Jose Baez whether he was concerned about Cindy's deposition Tuesday.

"We'll have to see how it goes. Let the state do their thing," Baez said.

Baez would not talk about his alleged nickname among his defense team, Juanny Cochran, because they all have direct or indirect ties to the late Johnny Cochran, who put together OJ Simpson's winning defense team..

A source told Eyewitness News that Baez helped Cochran with research on a case years ago and that connection brought him evidence expert Henry Lee, Linda Kenney Baden, Andrea Lyon and Todd Macaluso. Even his lead investigator, Eyewitness News was told, was the lead investigator on the OJ case.

The deposition is not public unless one of the parties asks for a transcript. Then the transcript would be a public record.
