Howdy, Monkeys.  I just finished watching Dr. Phil.  Beth looked great!  She looks so much stronger and her eyes are clear and her smile is firm.  It's wonderful to see her looking so much better.  I have great faith in Dr. Phil.  I do believe that he understands the concept that the less said the better in many situations.  He's smart and not going to say the wrong thing at the wrong time.  I do believe his heart is in the right place and, I hope, his influence and money!   :lol:

That's my big Mama dog, Calamity and she was yawning as I snapped the picture.  I cracked up when I saw it b/c I knew immediately what the card would say!  She is so sweet and gentle, a real rag doll.

Regarding the Murder and Crime thread.  There is still a link in this forum that when you click on it you are automatically rerouted to the Important Case Document forum and the thread there.  That way it gets more exposure.

That's great!  I just hope we didn't lose any when moving it as I had sent out the original link to a lot of folks.

I still send out a few emails each week, many repeats, just hoping that it will catch the eye of the right person.  

And I still think this constitutes some degree of false advertising or at the least misleading tourists.  While some did call it BS, the crimes are mostly in and around the tourist and tourist district and far from contained among the locals.  In fact, most of the robberies would appear to be against the tourists so it is important that people know about this situation.

I think maybe when Dr. Phil asked Beth how she felt about the lawsuit, he THOUGHT she would say something about it being all for the money involved.  I don't think he was fishing for complement, sure hope not cause if he is that insecure, we may have a problem.

And I was truly gratified when he said unequivocally that he stands behind the integrity of the tape.  No if, ands or buts about it.

Think that might have been what he was expecting her to say maybe?  Just a thought.

Oddly, no mention of that in the report but Greta did cover it extensively as did others.  Dihlma Arends had lots to say on phone activity early on that did not match the sketchy vdStraaten diagram, etc.

Hi, everyone.  

Any coverage tonight?  I am stopping in as I can... trying to see the latest.  Lots of family commitments this time of year.  thanks to all of you who included my nephew and his family in your prayers.  He was notified a couple of months ago he would be leaving Iraq earlier than he thought... so he arrived home in D.C. this week!  No other presents needed for this family!

Today I went to see the 1st grade music program.... They performed Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies on instruments.  For a group that cannot seem to operate scissors and glue bottles sometimes, they did an excellent job on the Nutcracker!

Back to reading.

At the American Legion in Culver City, CA  tonight I wore my Christmas Tree Scared Monkeys'  t-shirt and took the stein for a large coke for taco whatever tonight.

I wanted to brag and show off the avatars plus show people mine, as I am Pres. of the  Auxiliary. For a year and 1/2 ++ they have heard all about the Natalee Holloway case from me, (whether they wished to or not) plus one of our Auxiliary programs nationally and statewide is "Missing and Exploited Children" and "Internet Safety" so all this fits in.

Was talking to an former Marine who fought in the first Gulf War, was in a documentary about it (filmed live in combat), and is currently slaying, spear-hitting with other Vets,  a "dragon" who has supposedly taken money for his own use. The Marine works in the Film Industry and has been internationally on locations also.

I showed him the avatars; told him about Red, Tom, Mrs. Red and Klaas with Photoshop and other good Monkeys (a show-and-tell with the t-shirt) and how everyone was following the Natalee Holloway case for over 1 & 1/2 yrs. (They have all heard it from me about Shango. Code Talkers, the supposed coverup, about ins and outs that the family has had to go through, about Scared Monkeys' site=they complain my phone is always busy) Heh Heh   :lol:

Anyway, he said, "Oh, I follow it closely too".  My response came out without previous thought "Why?".

What he said tells it all "I have a daughter too" then a long pause, "And I want her to be safe too."

To me, that says it all! I was taken back for it is such a simple answer. I have heard this many times on this board, but never in "real life".

Then the Vet next to him, who is a mail carrier, talked about seeing the "boycott" things on letters and he wanted to know more.

Finally, I said that I've got to get home to go on Scared Monkeys to see what happened 'cause I missed the Dr. Phil show and the Indianapolis game was making me homesick.

By then, my taco whatever it was, was good but cold, but I had a ball. Plus the Marine joined his daughter up with the Junior Auxiliary tonight(as we mentor our own) and is bringing his wife in. Maybe we will win the Natl. Pres. award again.

(Commercial, bragging time: ALA: http://www.legion-aux.org/ (National), our State site: . One of the Juniors I mentored for 3 yrs.  is on this site and we had a National Pres. from our Unit also, but is not feature. (I need to send a scan and send .jpeg  PS: Our District covers 150 sq. miles+)

I am on a roll, am eating See's Old Fashion Victorian toffee and drinking lemonade.. may be a sugar thing?

Monkeys, I love you!  Stay healthy, wealthy and wise.. actually healthy, and safe are good.. then I would think the other things then sort of fall into place.

IMO The Skeeter's Whole Team is top-notch and if I were ever  in trouble, I'd call them first and hope they accepted monthly payments!

PS: Klaas, there was a man on a farm in Ohio, formally on the rodeo tour. Is he OK? I haven't seen him post for awhile.

Please refresh my memory re: the 8 min. phone call... what time at night and wasn't it between Depak and Joran?

Phone call=dial up, but could they be tallking about a video being done live and transmitted by Wi-fi..

that's why I was interest in finding out last night or so that the apt. in or where Depak lives has wi-fi.

Now I wish to know if Joran has it or is so near the high rise Wi=Fi that he can pick it up for video transmission and distribution?

We have talked about distribution.

We still go back to the computers, telephone calls and the Internet Cafe.

Had to go off live for Netscape and SM site was acting up again. I would hit the link to post and it would put my back into the main page of SM.. no I didn't hit "new topic" Tried it 4 times.

Then switched to Safari and it froze. So backed up my hard disk; erased all the cookies and cleaned out all the cache.

Wish they were cookies you could eat and cache you could cash.

Klaas: I hope CafePress will add a "view all" link. You are sooo good at finding things... Is there a Scared Monkeys sweatshirt (not Christmas tree or boat or bus) just plain Monkeys with the lodo on front and hear no..et al on back?

'Fraid my Christmas tree will get only season "viewing".. that is why I am also going to get a tote. Then I can carry it everywhere and they ask about it. Can tell the Natallee story then.

I know that it has been discussed that it is believed that VDS home had WiFi.  Think it was discussed when everybody was viewing the goon at the pool with the laptop.  Probably around the time of the Globe story that revisited the cement work done while the goon was being "watched" & jailed & what it could have hidden.

I can't wait to see the outcome of both court cases in CA.

The Kalpoes are in for a surprise of a life, I believe, this time around. No ALE or Officials to hide behind. I just somehow feel they won't even show face to either court hearing. Think they will show the hearings live?

Edited to add:  If the court documents are correct then they expect the trial to last approx 20 days.  I wouldn't be able to go every day but would definately go for some of them.

Most likely they don't allow laptops in the courtroom.  Also, I don't know if I'd be allowed in although I imagine I can get a pass.  Not sure what the rules are.  I may have to go outside the courtroom to report.

Will they once again hit the streets in protest  her for her choice of words in saying " hold their feet to the fire " meaning to be held accountable for their actions  when their  admissions of actions committed with / in behalf of a minor ...What  are Minor crimes here ((but  still crimes) ~~  (BUT maybe not there?))  have not been brought forward for ANY action !!!

Use your contacts please and find out which jurisdiction it will be in and then you can run the address under the Wi-Fi locators and see what is available.

Culver City has free Wi-Fi downtown but it won't be there! I am going to check on Santa Monica re: free wi-fi.. they are a very progressive city.

FOM...Clear your mind of EVERYTHING you've tried and do this step by step:

1. Pick a picture from page 5 of this thread/my posting of avatars. Don't click the picture, but do RIGHT CLICK the link directly below the picture. A list will appear. Click the COPY or COPY SHORTCUT link. Nothing will happen that you can see, but that's ok, you've done it right.
2. At the top of the page, Click "PROFILE". That opens the page with your info as a monkey. Scroll down to the AVATAR CONTROL PANEL. You'll find 3 empty boxes on the left side of the page, arranged vertically. Go the the THIRD BOX DOWN. CLICK IN THE BOX and another list appears. Select PASTE from the list. That puts the link you copied in there.
4. Scroll to the end of the page and click the SUBMIT button. You'll get a message that says, "Your profile has been updated".

I've never done that Klaas. It's dumb luck, but you know Indy's wreath? It was a total accident that the image worked with the wreath moving.........'cause all I could figure out was to drag that thing onto each frame, and of course the placement was a little off each time!  :lol:

In reading the lawsuit in its entirety, I have but one question.  In order for one to be "permanently damaged" in their "professions and occupations", doesn't one have to HAVE a profession or occupation?  Seems to me, they have neither.  Satish is a student....still.  Deepak has work permit trouble so how can he claim to have a "profession"?  

The suit also indicates the plaintiffs may need "psychiatric care" and "psychological counseling services".  Sound like it is a little LATE for that!  How about a nice class in how to pick better quality friends?  You know, the kind of friends who are honest and forthright and do not hang you out to dry.

Yep, sounds like a bunch of BS to me.  Should be interresting to see how this plays out!

CBB - This is what I did for AZLady

1.  Opened her avatar in photobucket and saved as a gif
2.  With the paintbrush made several random red dots
3.  Copied and made 3 additional identical GIFs
4.  On copy1 covered the red dots with yellow.  On copy2 covered the red with blue.  On copy3 covered the red with pink.
5.  Saved each picture (AZ1, AZ2, AZ3, AZ4)

6.  Opened all 4 in Image Ready
7.  Choosing AZ1, clicked on Windows then Animate
8.  Clicked on add a frame
9.  Then selecting AZ2, select all and copy
10.  Then selecting AZ1 again, paste over the 2nd frame
11.  Clicked on add a frame again...repeat with AZ3 and AZ4
12.  Set the time for 0.2 and forever
13.  Save as Optimized

Even if they were innocent, their "reputation" became damaged because they chose to lie to the police (they admit that), The coversation in the car proves their choice of involvement and choice to hide information ( hard evidence of that) about her disappearance. Their choice to change stories in the interrogations all point to them as suspects. by their own hand, not anyone elses. They chose to be less than truthful and forthcoming. They chose to ACT guilty. Whatever existing opinion is of them, they can look in the mirror and see who to blame.

 They will say they can't go to school, can't get jobs, and even if they could, the mental duress is just too much for them.  How they'll separate Beth and Dr. Phil from the fact that they were arrested, lied, lied some more, even claiming Deepak wanted to mess with the investigation, or being kept as suspects by ALE, is beyond me.  That's what lawyers do.  It's their way of getting around the fact that proof will come forward showing that Deepak said these things.  They'll then move on to Dr. Phil had no right to air it and Skeeters had not right to tape it, basically circumventing the fact that Deepak did say those things.   The other problem will be that many of the news shows aren't aired in Aruba, and there are schools in places other than Florida and their character will be attacked - the tapes are damaging enough, but he sat there letting the guards be falsely arrested.  He wasn't concerned about their reputations or occupations.  He didn't tell the truth until HE got arrested.  Then suddenly his conscious kicked in and he decided to say they lied.   :shock:  :roll:

Have they READ the lawsuit?  It's kinda lame.  The boys are not right.  The boys have never been right.  They've been lying since the start and have nobody to blame for their predicament except themselves and maybe Momma K with her training: "big people lie".

I'm not much of a recreational gambler, but I'd be willing to bet a fairly large amount of my resources on this case.

This case is gonna be dropped. The only pot needed is to figure out when.

Well, I am looking at these pleadings in a different light.  I have drafted Complaints in civil suits many times, and I know that they all basically make the same allegations.  Certain elements have to be pled to keep the suit from being dismissed.  The form just comes from Pleading and Practice form files.  Then you just add the details that fit your case to fill in the blanks in the form.  I don't really take Complaints and Answers to Complaints all that seriously in a lot of regards because I've done too much litigation work in my life.

Let's just see how the actual discovery and progress of the cases go.  I'm a lot more interested to see how the Judge will rule on motions as we progress.  JMHO

Can't wait for Mama K's depo though:  "Did you ever make the statement to the effect that all big people lie?"

K:  "Well, I don't remember.  I don't think so.  I wouldn't say something like that."

Lawyer:  "In the response you just gave, were you lying?"

K:  "no."

Lawyer:  "Woud you like me to refresh your memory by showing the transcript where you made that statement?"

And then imagine how this isused at jury trial with Mama actually on the stand.

Also, the taped interview where she says the boys came in around 3am.  Same type of thing.  She's toast no matter what she says, IMO

Pondering thoughts.  Is it illegal in this country, by our laws to say something in the media about someone in another country?  Do our  rights of protection transfer to citizens of other countries?  I'm not sure I understand the right Depak has to sue in California.  After all it happened in Aruba.  Shouldn't his venue be there?  Shouldn't he appeal to the almighty dutch legal system to seek justice?  Could someone explain international case law to me where it's illegal to defame someone in another country by our laws?

Sorry, I can't help you there. Freedom of speech and all that, I don't think Deepak has a leg to stand on. Unless he tries to say Skeeters taped him without his knowledge/permission and then aired it. But then again, that goes under private or under cover. IMO  And if that's against the law in Aruba, then I am with you on lines of thinking. Deepak would need to take it to court in Aruba. Good luck!

I'm wondering if it actually is illegal - in Aruba or the US - for a private  investigator to tape a conversation with a suspect in that investigation.  Does a suspect in a criminal investigation have the right to claim that a tape of him talking to a private investigator is private and he has to give his permission to air it?  If not, it may come down to is whether or not Deepak's statement that the investigation was looking in other directions, away from the Kalpoes, after they and Joran were released, but Dr. Phil brought so much negative publicity to them that they were harmed.  I do think that the statement made in the suit that "Plaintiff's had a right to exclusive ownership and control of their likeness and story regarding Natalee Holloway's disappearance" will not win over any jurors.  It sounds as though he's there because he wants to make money over this; something he discusses with Skeeters in 8-05.  He looks like the money grubber he is.  But juries don't always know what we know, they have to go by what's presented in court.  They don't always see things the way others see it, which is why we see them crying and explaining themselves on TV afterwards - like OJ and Michael Jackson.  If they see it as some poor kid who was falsely arrested and accused, they might think he deserves to make money off of this.  

I was concerned about who the Aruban "fixers" were and how they could come up with a tape that was altered to make Skeeters and Phil look like they lied while still passing some expert's analysis.  Well, I'm still concerned about that, but then I read the suit and realized they may not have to prove that Dr. Phil lied; they still have plenty of fodder to sift through.

Good info and good questions. Makes me wonder all the more on which turn of events these court cases will go.

Hey monks. I'm in the waiting room of an ICU. My mother came in this morning through ER with GI bleeding. Waiting for a gastroscopy at 4 pm to try to find the source of the bleeding. If unable to find it, then a colonoscopy to be done in the morning. She bottomed out (blood pressure) at one point, but rebounded. Hence the ICU, where they can monitor her more closely. I was pretty freaked out, but since getting more info, I'm calmer.

Imagine my surprise when I walked into the waiting room and found an online computer!

Oh, Justinsmama-I am so sorry to hear about your Mother.  It's a good thing they have her in ICU to monitor any changes.  I hope the cause of her troubles will be found soon and can be remedied.  Glad you found the puter...You and your Mother are in my prayers

I'm baaaaackk!!!! Gastroscopy showed nothing, so the bleed out is lower.  They are doing a procedure where a sample of her blood will be prepped through the nuclear med dept, and injected back into her to try to track where the bleed out is. The GI guy said it is probably diverticuliti/a that began bleeding and cannot stop because of Plavix that she was rently started on. Her hemoglobin and bp are both dropping. He said he'll probably go ahead and give her a couple pints of blood.

BYW, my family thinks I'm completely bonkers. They said so when I told them that I was going to check in with the monkeys.

I, too, thought I remembered Skeeters showing Deepak some recording equipment and telling him he might record at any given time or might not, at his, Skeeters, discretion.  Maybe not, but I sure thought I remembered that and don't care to go to Scrux to read or even read here that whole mess again.


What I don't understand from the Kelpoes lawsuit is why they are saying Dr. Phil is responsible for what Beth says or what Harold Corpus says or anybody else says.  It admits Dr. Phil says things like SOMEBODY did this to Natalee, etc. but then quotes every show that Beth was on, supposedly referring to the tape.

Dr. Phil has no control over Beth or anything she does or says.  And if I were the judge, I would tell them so pronto and ask why they did not direct those complaints toward the person involved in the actions they are complaining about.

Makes no sense, that whole concept of blame Dr Phil for the use others might make of that tape.  

I think Nadira has pushed for this and she doesn't realize the extent to which Deepak has lied to Mama.  I suspect before this is over, she will have a much better idea, however.

I think if you look at that very bizaar statement by David Kock, the answer is buried in there somehow.  In Aruba's distorted view of the universe and life in general, they think that Dr Phil calls Beth in to defend him and chase off the poor victims J2K by telling the world what they have said or acts they have comitted.  It doesnt make any sense to a halfway rational thinking person but somehow if you can warp your mind enough, you can get some weird explanation from Kock and the rest of the Arubans.  If you really want an answer, you may need to take several hits of LSD, but I would not recommend it.

Dont bother going back to read the hallucinations of David Kock.  You could end up hurting your brain and ending up in a coma like state or even worse - you could end up Aruban.  He basically said something to the effect that Dr Phil called in Beth to chase away his clients.   He may have been traveling through other dimensions and got caught somewhere between "off the (bottom of the) scale intelligence" and "stuck on stupid"

I think I have discovered a new medical condition.  For now, I will refer to this condition as "An Aruban-Like State"  I have to notify the mdeical community at once and get this condition documented.  Maybe I will be able to raise some funds to research this phenomenon.  Then again, I doubt anyone really cares enough to fund a project to study these nutjobs.

I wonder if the Kalpoe will use the "Aruban Defense" in the wrongful death suit.  They can just go in there and say - "what did you expect, we're Aruban."  I imagine it would be better than the temporary insanity defense.  All you have to do is prove you lived in Aruba for a few months and your off the hook.  They could get a ruling of Not Guilty By Reasons of Being Aruban.

Basically what Kock was saying was that Kalpoes should sue Dr Phil but Beth and Dave should not sue Kalpoes because, well, they're Aruban and that makes them special.  Normal rules do not apply to Arubans.  They are exempt from meeting the norms of civilized behavior by reason of their Arubanitis.

They aren't missing and are all too present, etc. but still, they are Aruban and so naturally victims and special allowances should be made at all times since Aruba is such a special place.

I need and want to apologize to Anna and Tylergal for my very extreme and rude and over the top response to their posts. My angry reaction was uncalled for. I am sorry that offense was taken to my original post. It was certainly not meant to offend anyone.
What I would propose is that Klaasend close and expunge the whole topic. It is causing more problems that it warrants. My bad behavior is causing me some anxiety and regrets.

Yo, monkeys. I had to come home as Justin's time with his father was over. I'm not telling Justin any of this about his grandma unless I really have to do so. The bleed scan showed a zigzag pattern of bleeding. Which tells me nada. I work on the other end of folks, so I'm pretty well outside of my area with this. They are going to repeat the bleed scan at 10 pm to see if they can get a clearer picture of what is going on. We are all on pins and needles, as her blood pressure has not been rebounding (it was 77/43 when I left) and she continues to bleed with no abatement. She's already been given two pints of blood. They catheterized her so she will move as little as possible. A good friend lives only a few miles away, and she can come over to stay with Justin tonight if my mother takes a turn for the worse. This whole thing pretty well sucks.

Justins - if they still think it's diverticulitis, the bleeding doesn't sound too scary from what I've read on the internet. Here's one thing I've read.

Bleeding diverticula can usually be treated by bed rest, with blood transfusion needed for more severe bleeding (hemorrhaging). In cases of very heavy hemorrhaging, medications which encourage clotting can be injected during the course of a diagnostic angiography.

We're going to Belize, Roatan (Honduras), and Costa Maya and Cozumel (Mexico).  Very excited here as this is a family trip and we'll all be together, except for the kids.  Adults only!   :lol:

AZ~ No mention of that as yet. Before the bleed scan, the GI doc was speculating that a diverticula had started bleeding, and the Plavix she had recently started had kept it from clotting. I dunno enough to know whether that theory is down the tubes now or not. She had an abnormality show in her small intestine from a colonoscopy done a few weeks back. She has also had a "rash" on her scalp, arms and back that a dermatologist biopsied. No results back on that yet.

Justins, it sounds as if she has good care and is in capable hands.  I know that is small comfort, but we take it where we can find it.  Comfort, that is.  I'm glad you have a support system, even if it just us Monkeys to talk with.  It helps.

Very sorry to hear about your mom, I will keep her in my prayers .........I can offer the bit of information that bleeding scan is useful diagnostic tool for pinpointing site of some types of GI bleeding. BP certainly indicates labile hemodynamic status, which means she likely needs more blood/fluid.....sounds like they need to step up the transfusion. Sometimes the site of bleeding can be injected with a schlerosing (sp?) type of medication to stop bleeding....if the site can be reached. sometimes a general "constricting" type of continuous Iv infusion can be given ie sandostatin. Sometimes surgery is needed, which by all means is often common and very very effective. They need to get the BP up so that her condition can be as stable as possible= more blood.......My prayers are with you all . Remember, that even those that might look fraile such as tiny babies and the elderly are actually much much stronger than appearance
presents, and the human will is an amazing thing........

Wish I were near, I'd be glad to watch Justin for you.

You are correct.  I read back thru all of Justinsmama's posts about her mother and saw that the doctors have already determined Plavix use as the problem.

I told my mother that if she saw shades of my father, her parents, or any of our deceased cats, she was to ignore them as they cannot have her yet.

Neice just called. They are taking my mother into surgery now.

I erased the part on my previous post about surgery.......but it seems as though the Docs are wasting no time which is best. It will be a long night......
If they had waited she was likely to become more unstable. They know now where she is bleeding from, it has been pinpointed, best to fix it.

Justins, so sorry to hear about your mother. While there is never a good time for one to go through this it seems to be even more heartbreaking to go through it during a time of year that is suppose to be so festive and joyous. I will keep you and your mother and the rest of my family in my prayers.I pray that she will be recovered and home with her family soon.

Well, I was yelled at the first time I asked this question but here goes again.  WHEN did Deepak chat all this to JohnCharles Croes?  Tuesday night is out for he was with the HT's and the Alabama delegation right from the casino until dawn.

I think Wednesday would be too late to help with an alibi so was this Monday, the night Natalee disappeared, Sunday into Monday as Deepak stated also in that statement?  Was this Wednesday or later that he did this?  

We have never seen Deepak's phone records??

I don't know the answer to your question, Anna, but your reasoning seems right. I DO know that Deepak claiming in a suit that Dr. Phil and the rest of the defendents are responsible for "defaming" his reputation glares in the face of the incident you refer to. K2s "defamed themselves by lying, over and over again. Even if they were innocent, there are no grounds for that suit. Their actions have caused them to be the obvious suspects, not Skeeters tape.

I don't know the answer to your question either Anna , but agree with CBB I would imagine deepak would have to show in his suit that he suffered damages to his reputation etc. . How in view of all the lies he told, and admits to telling he can expect to say someone else caused his defamation is beyond me......

I am not sure how to take this statement. Seems DK was bragging about an incident that never happened?.chatting with his friend croes, he places himself and Joran together with Natalee? The time frame is all wrong because infact DK dropped Natalee and Joran off at his house, and Deepak and Satish went home? I am not sure I agree with this, just trying to speculate on the possible meaning of the statement.

I simply do not understand why this is not circumstantial evidence of guilt.  Why on earth would he need to be lying and creating an alibi and worrying about the HI story on SUNDAY into MONDAY morning?

This is about as close to a confession as I think we will ever get from Deepak and yet ALE thought nothing of it?  Well, but then they didn't want the truth, they wanted to cover up any wrong doing and blame "the girl" as as to preserve their tourist image.

I take as the Jun 13 statement says Deepak had dropped off JVDS and Nat before 2:40am May 30 and went home and started up an IM conversation on his computer with Croes in Fla.

I take as the Jun 29 statement says the jist of the conversation with Croes in Fla was a story about how the girl had put her hands in his pants before he had dropped JVDS and Nat off, so as to mislead the investigation that he knew was coming and wanted to keep the heat off of Satish.

I think Deepak was caught off guard with that question.  My guess he didn't know anyone had talked to John Charles Croes.  The excuse is not something well thought out for exactly the reasons the monkeys are saying.

The statement itself says ALE verified this with JCCroes and I would assume they have his phone/internet records.  He is confirming what ALE is saying he did.

And the actual hours do not really matter as it is the wrong night for him to already be establishing an alibi with Natalee either still with Joran or just leaving his company or their company or whatever happened.

Why did ALE never follow up on this?  Why is this not an admission that he knew he needed an alibi that very first night  and why did he need that alibi so quickly?  Not if they left her on the beach or at the hotel or anywhere at all in an OK condition.

Just odd no one ever bothered to follow up on this that we know of.

It is clearly an admission that something bad happened, he knew it because he was there and they had already said they would just say they dropped her off at HI if questioned.  To then go home, get on the computer and start lying to a friend to establish an alibi and mislead any investigation shows consciousness of guilt.  I wonder who questioned John Charles Croes.  With any luck, the FBI did since he's in Florida and ALE was pretending to cooperate with them initially.

Anna, the problem is your motivation. You WANT to solve this, and those taking the statement and responsible for follow up didn't.
I thought that maybe the time did matter, if DKs computer records verify the same night she went missing and that time. That would be a piece of the puzzle that we need, wouldn't it?

This is where Peter De Vries comes in, I hope.  He's apparently known for going after corruption and stuff.  So whatever "our" people didn't come up with maybe he did.  This is the key to the shrieking cries of "no evidence".

I haven't figured out if Satish is being protected or kept in the shadows because (1) Nadira would pick him up and drop him on his head if Deepak got his little brother in trouble; (2) Satish didn't really play a part in what happened; or (3) he's not very bright and they really are afraid he'll say something wrong.

My mother was then going to wake me up at 10.30 a.m. She though overslept and did not wake me up. I woke up around 12.00 noon. My brother woke up around 1 p.m. I asked him how Joran did get home during the night. He told me Joran had called him while walking in the direction to his home. He told me Joran told him he walked bare feet because he left the shoes at the beach. Then I asked my brother how the girl was doing.

Two possibilities:  They were in chat with several people and when Deepak (or whoever) went back to the computer each time, JCC was there.  OR JCC said I've got to finish up on something online, then I'll come back and chat.  So no one was chatting, but they were both in the chat room.

Has it ever been discussed if John Charles Croes, in Florida, is related to Charles Croes?  Charles Croes lived in the Miami area when he was a boy.

I have always felt that this was yet another of their little jokes, all claiming to be going to become doctors as a way of poking fun at Natalee's plans since she was nothing but a crackhead slut according to them.  I don't think they really believed she had the scholarship and everything all lined up.

Sounds to me like Satish is being honest.  Maybe he didn't know.  As for school, I thought he got arrested before he finished the year.  Unlike Joran, who was allowed to finish the school year before the arrest took place and was also released in September so he could start school.  So he lost out on the summer and all the tourists he had condoms for.  But he got to play soccer in jail, didn't he?  And Daddy Slooty made sure his education and future plans weren't interferred with.  Satish didn't get the same consideration.

Beth had a meeting with KJ and there are notes from her July 11th meeting. There were text messages. There was a message at 3:30 am. Greta asked what was the content of the text message and Joran sent a text message to his computer saying thanks I’m home. So we don’t really know how he got home except there was a message from Joran to Deepak saying he got home. KJ told Beth that there was a phone call between Joran and Deepak and she said that was the longest phone call ever recorded from those two boys cell phones and they were never able to find out what time that phone call took place or any of their conversations were disclosed and they knew it was significant because this has never taken place before and she doesn’t know what 18 year old, 17 year old or 22 year old boy are going to have and 18 (actually 8 1/2 minute) minute cell phone call on the very night they took Natalee.

She feels as if when she goes through her journal she sees all the alibis that were destroyed by looking at her looking through it.

It isn't a "movie" like a Featured Event but something that can be transmitted or may in fact only be eight and a half minutes long which is plenty by backseatbangers, smutbus, etc. standards.

And I think Joran may have sent it to Deepak who in turn transmitted it to JCCroes.  At least I hope he did as that enters it into the good old U.S. of A. and our court.

Don't know, but for me calls like that are one cell phone not getting the right button pushed to close/hangup the call.

Guess there needs to be some sort of transcript available to show what was taking place during the call.

Deepak may have known Natalee was "passed out" or even dead but that wouldn't stop him from transmitting a porn "back seat bangers" type of film.  

The 8 1/2 minute call could have been Joran sending it to Deepak's PC or Cellphone.  Deepak in turn sent it to JCC via his PC.
