George and Cindy Anthony have asked to see their daughter, Casey, before the young woman’s murder trial begins, WKMG-Channel 6 reported tonight.

Jury selection is scheduled to start Monday. Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee.

“I am told her parents are waiting for her to decide whether or not they will have a video visitation,” WKMG’s Tony Pipitone reported. “Defense attorney Jose Baez was made aware of the parents’ request this week, and so far, George and Cindy Anthony have not heard back from their daughter’s attorney.”

Knowing the skum they are, they probably called the media themselves.  Then, when SHE does not want to see them, they will blame the jail for wanting to video tape their visit, which every other inmate has to do, but they are special, dang it.

Shoot, we didnt even have to get to trial to realize they would be pulling stunts....I guess this one is designed to garner sympathy.   What do they have to say now so urgently after nearly three years, please.   I dont know but I would guess the Anthonys or their attorney leaked it.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Chief Judge Belvin Perry is expected to decide if never-before-used scientific evidence will be used against Casey Anthony. It's a test of the air from Casey's trunk that witnesses said smelled like death

There are indications that the ruling will come down on Wednesday. It could be a landmark decision, so Perry is taking his time.

As I understand it they do have devices that National Security uses to alert if certain toxic chemicals are in the air during a national event where there will be crowds of people. Isn't what this particular test will show...the level of chloroform in the air? It seems pretty scientific to me even if it is new. I hope it is allowed, especially if it could be the cause of death. I will boycott any station that takes part in a delay of this trial. Caylee has waited way too long for this. Just have a damn crew at the ready and drive, just like you would with any breaking story. Tornadoes don't give you a day's notice, but the tv crews are there.

I agree Boo. While I firmly believe in the first amendment and the right to a public trial, I do not think that trumps the potential for poisoning of the jury pool (albeit inadvertently) by the media announcing where the selection will occur.

I will never forget the day that Mason appeared on the scene. He was the new SUPERHERO who was going to save the day. At that time he was referred to as a “game changer”. The news media was just abuzz with the fact that he was going to bring some amazing brilliance to the team. He was going to dazzle everyone with his astounding revelations and Casey Anthony would then go free. Absolutely!

The buildup was intense! Everyone expected Superman! But, whoah! Foghorn Leghorn showed up instead! ORLANDO, Fla. -- Several Florida media outlets appealed a decision by Judge Belvin Perry in the case against Casey Anthony late Tuesday afternoon.
A motion originally filed in Orange County by several media outlets was in reference to an order by Perry that mandated they sign a confidentiality agreement before learning the location of jury selection for Casey's upcoming trial (read motion) . That motion was denied by Perry at a hearing Monday.

The media outlets that filed the appeal with the 5th District Court of Appeal were not local. They include: WPTV-TV, WFTS-TV, Naples Daily News, SCRIPPS Treasure Coast Newspapers, and The Associated Press.

I'm watching InSession......Diana Tennis just said that Casey's constitutional rights far out-weigh any others constitutional rights, referring to the media's appeal.  This is just all a huge waste caused by the media.  Get a clue people!!

LOL, and I assume they feel since they are so likable and bright, they should all get off scott free for their murders. 

I cannot watch InSession and I do not care about Casey's constitutional rights, I care about Caylee's constituional rights to not be murdered by her mother, but alas, she was.

I wondered about the Anthonys.  Also, I wonder if there might be a link between Geraldo and this media company.  Could be that Jose is behind this.  More media coverage that puts his client in the role of victim.  A video visit where she's crying and sad and really putting on a great show might influence a jury.  Now, she'd really have to act the part, and her parents would have to be coached on just the right things to say.  But, it could be a possibility.

Yep..I agree..and since the judge has already said that the jury pool would come from an area that is within about an hours drive from Orlando we aren't talking a trek across the country here..When did the press become so powerful that they can delay a trial?  I believe the press have rights, but not like this..if they think their rights come before the rights of victims and the rights of not having a mistrial then they have gotten way out of hand. 

Disasters happen all the time and the press manage to make it there..an hour outside of Orlando is a problem for them..this is childish..and another waste of the Florida taxpayers money and the courts time.

Well, since she doesn't have a formal court-appointed advocate, can we think of any other group of like-minded individuals who have access to the 'net and a passion for justice???

I am wondering if the A's wanted this video meeting with Casey because Sunday is Mother's Day..and they were going to discuss very specific things in order to show Casey in the Mother of the Year Light.  Whatever their plans this is not the time for a video visit with their  pole dancing, murderous offspring.  I am sure the hidden letters have been flying fast and furious between Casey and her Mommy Dearest...George and Lee ..not so much.

I simply don't understand why Mason and Baez keep giving interviews at this late date before trial.  It is not endearing them to anyone that will be on the jury..because Jurors will be selected on the basis of their lack of knowledge about the case..not their knowledge.  I think this is Mason's Swan Song..and he's gonna sing it for whatever it is worth...Baez..he will come out on top after this..mark my words..the man will make more bucks after this case is tried then he has so far..but I just don't know what this recent publicity tour of theirs is all about..other then tooting their own horn.  And it certainly does not help their client.

I really wish they would plea her out and be done with it..LOL that would serve the Press right...all this to do about nothing if there is no jury selection and their is no trial other then sentencing.

Panel of 3 Judges (they gave the names of the 3 but I didn't catch them) of 5th Circuit Court are now considering the media's motion to appeal Judge Perry's ruling regarding location for jury selection.

Journalist from Orlando Sentinel on InSession said they did not sign agreement, & will work their own sources to find the secret location. He seemed VERY confident they will find out before Monday morning......and it will not be through court sources which would jeopardize their credentials for the trial.

The defendant has the right to have input into jury selection.

If she is required to be there, I suspect 85% of them, when Hoebag walks in, will say, oh this is for her, she is guilty.

I can predict the decision will be made in a denial of the appeal motion and it will come down within 24 to 48 hours..no more then that..it ain't rocket science and these judges know that....it's crying over something as simple as keeping your mouth shut ..if they can't or won't do it then that's their problem..not the State of Florida's problem.

Wednesday is the last day for lawyers in the case against Casey Anthony to dispute where the jury will be picked next week.

Jury selection is scheduled to begin Monday somewhere else in Florida. Judge Belvin Perry has kept that location a secret, telling only one attorney on each side of the case.

Those attorneys have had until Wednesday to object to the venue Perry has chosen to find prospective jurors.

I just thought about something if the appeals court doesn't hear it before the court then it stands as written - that may be what happens.

I'm thinking that one of the reasons why Sindy wants a visit with KC is the duhfense DOES want them sequestered and she wants to confront KC about that.

That's the why I understood it. They could rule on it with out going to court and most likely the Judges order would stand no delay if they were going to rule against the judge they would mostly likely go to court and there would be a delay. 

Since the trial will be in Orlando, there is no purpose in moving her.

West Palm is too far away. I will go with Tampa (Hillsboro County) or Brevard County (Cocoa, Melborne, Titusville)

I wondered if they are setting up the "molestation" story and are going to have George tell KC he was "sorry" so all that can be used in court for that "story" they were cooking up for her defense. Since George said in court he would do anything to get her off maybe he is going to make this part of the record

I am only going to guess why the local Orlando media is not reporting this story of Cheney M saying it was a tragic accident on insession yesterday. The local media can not make money off of an accident. I challenge them to step up to the plate, step out of their comfort zone and report the truth.

I know way back when there was an accident floating around, but they have not put any evidence up to show it was an accident, the duffense I mean, and I didn't hear the Jar say this in any article I have read since his interview yesterday.

Judge Perry mentioned something in one of the recent hearings about when/where/how KC will get her clothing for trial. We won't be privy to that info.

Chief Judge Belvin Perry is going to try to keep the peace during Casey Anthony's murder trial, which is scheduled to start in less than weeks, on Tuesday, May 17.

The judge is expected to issue orders Wednesday about how the public can get a seat at the trial, as well as rules for those protesting at the Orange County Courthouse.

The court knows protesters are going to show up. They were all over the Anthony family's east Orange County neighborhood, at the crime scene where the remains of Casey's daughter, Caylee, were found, and even at the 2-year-old's memorial service.

Of course, protesters will be allowed outside the courthouse. It's anyone's right to free speech. But the judge's order will limit exactly where they can protest.

Judge Perry said there will be two "free speech zones" where people will be allowed to gather.

Court administrators said this is for safety reasons, and to be sure not to disturb other business at the courthouse.

Casey Anthony defense attorney Jose Baez made rare outside-the-courtroom appearance this morning during a speaking engagement held by the Central Florida chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Speaking at the informal event held inside the Numero Uno Restaurant in Orlando, Baez talked in Spanish and English about his personal history, his passion for criminal defense work and even his relationship with national television figure Geraldo Rivera.

On the eve of the Casey Anthony trial, though, Baez largely avoided specific questions about the case. He did say that the defense team -- as well as the prosecution – is well-prepared and ready to begin the much awaited trial.

He maintained he is committed to the case, but insisted his career will not be defined by the Casey Anthony case.

Jail Visits Soar For Casey Just Days Prior To Her Trial

According to Casey Anthony’s official Orange County Jail visitation records, visits are soaring just days before her murder trial begins. Since January of this year, Casey was averaging about 4 visits for an entire month. Now Casey is receiving jail visitors on a ”daily” basis.

In an amusing twist, Cheney Mason showed up yesterday for his all-time 2nd jail visit with Casey.

Casey's Parents Want Recorded Visits Sealed

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Casey Anthony's parents filed a motion on Wednesday, demanding to visit her before, during, and after the trial, without fear of those visits going public.

If the jail allowed private visits, it would be special treatment for the Anthonys.

The Anthonys' attorney said they don't even know whether Casey wants them to visit, but if she does, they want the visits to be private.

I just watched a few minutes & couldn't stomach anymore.  He says "If the child was lawfully killed" ...etc. etc. and attempts to bring some twisted reason to what he is saying.  My question: How in the world can a child be lawfully killed??????????????????   ::MonkeyEek::

Hopefully, the rules will be strictly enforced for the trial--it's showtime.  Wonder if CinCin has the intelligence to muster some self discipline for once????  It will be interesting to see if she still considers herself above the rules & defies His Honor's rules?????

The judge has NOT ruled on their motion about sequestration yet.....so that means that must be denied....because KC doesn't want them in there and the judge is waiting for them to try and talk her into it?  Nice guy that he is...guess he is trying to save face for them.

Now they file a motion DEMANDING to see her before, during & after the trial with the video sealed to the public.  Do they really think the only reason why KC doesn't want to see them is because the visitation is made public?  Hello Scams....she has no use for you anymore...you aren't paying her rent, buying her food, giving her a car, allowing her to steal money, etc.  What are you to her now?  NOTHING.....don't you get it?

I am not a lawyer, but I think voir dire is the process of jury questioning to get rid of the ones who are not open minded.

This is my message to Cindy and George!!!  When your "Mother of the Year" (NOT) gets sentenced to the Big House for Life or the DP you can certainly feel free to visit her in prison without recordings or video whenever visiting is allowed.

I am so fed up with them and their demands and antics. I know everyone here is fed up too.
Can't wait for this trial to start and I am going to be beside myself if it is put on hold.

First, many thanks Trimm!  Where do we pick up our media credentials for trial?  My bags are packed and my flight is booked.  After all, Cindy's declared us to be media and if Cindy said it, it must be so.  NOT! ROTFL  Wow! I had no idea how large my circle of influence is!   ::MonkeyToot::

Secondly, what drug is Cindy Anthony on?  Seriously.  That she thinks she and George are entitled to special exemptions and exclusions from the law is self-delusional, at best...narcisstic sociopathic at worst.  Cindy Anthony does have a life threatening allergy though.  She's allergic to the Truth.  She's in danger of strangers and co-workers alike, seeing the Anthony family interact as they normally do...the arguing,manipulation, power plays, cursing, overt narcissism, etc.  The implosion called their family dynamics.

Third, it's very interesting that the premise of the Anthony's entire argument (one, which Cindy has played repeatedly to us media members), is that she can't visit Casey because the visits are taped.  Uh...No.  She is welcome to go to the jail 24/7. We're not the ones refusing her visits....Casey is. Of course, she can't hold Casey accountable-that would defeat Cindy's "Mother of the Year" assertions.  According to their attorney, the Anthonys can't hold a normal conversation with Casey for fear of being videotaped.  First, we need to define that word "normal".  Normal for who?  You and I? Or normal for the Anthonys?  Given the volatile history of Cindy and George (per the Zenaida Gonzales court depos, numerous confrontations and shoving matches with protestors, neighbor reports of family arguments heard houses away, and jail video visits arguments with Casey), these people are anything but normal. The fact is they're afraid because they have something to hide.  They all three know how volatile and toxic their relationship is (think Cindy's 911 calls with Casey sitting right beside in the car and in the house, Casey;s first scathing phone call home from jail) and they know how unpredictable Casey is.  They should be worried...very worried.  Parents wishing to go speak loving words of support to their incarcerated child, do so.  Parents who go to speak of their failings as parents or to encourage their child to do the right thing, do so.  What is there to hide? Note to Cindy and George Anthony, you've had nearly 3 years to go visit Casey- she refused you. You have been speaking to her over these nearly three years- they're called letters.  If Casey doesn't know your and George's hearts and intentions by now, it's because she's chosen not to.  You can't blame us media members. The fact of the matter is, Cindy & George can't afford for people to see the real Casey.  The problem is that jurors are not deaf, dumb, and blind, like the Anthonys have pretended to be for most of 21 years.  Jurors will see through Casey easily and they won't need us media members "influencing" them either.  George and Cindy should be very scared.  This motion tells me they are.

Finally, Cindy & George's motion to be excluded from sequestration brings up an interesting scenario.  It speaks to Cindy's need to control the trial and possibly attempt to influence the outcome (through perjury or courtroom antics).  IMO, it also highlights her/their fear of what exactly Casey has planned for them.  Cindy & George are no doubt well aware how spiteful and vindictive Casey really is.  Being sequestered brings with it the distinct possibility/likelihood that Casey is going to make serious, life-changing accusations against one or both of them and they will not be in the courtroom to immediately refute those charges.  No wonder Casey's camp is not objecting to the sequestration.  No wonder Cindy & George are alarmed...they should be.  For Casey, it's payback time.  After all, Cindy is the one who pushed it by calling 911 that final time (backpedal as she may).  Cindy & George know who and what they're dealing with and the ammunition she's been storing up...no wonder they're alarmed.  The reality is, I fully expect Judge Perry to deny their motion, based on precendent.  Simply put, it has no legal standing, unless George is Caylee's biological father.  The Anthonys attempted Hail Mary pass is going to be shot down. It will be  "Motion is without merit= denied".

I think they have like 50 seats for the public and they said first come first in but I sure can't swear to it. We will probably all know more next week. I would sure love to be able to sit in on the trial too but no such luck.

If I'm not mistaken, jury selection is a closed proceeding. The Anthony's directing their lawyer make a statement on their behalf is grandiose posturing.  They couldn't legally be there, unless they're the defendant charged in the case, the prosecuting attorneys, or the defense attorneys.  In short, they're not invited to the party.  This sounds like Cindy saving face to me.  It's sad that she/they felt like they had to spin it...not as sad as Caylee dying because so much other stuff was spun for the last 21 years.  There's a point where people who refuse to acknowledge their sin are overtaken by their sin. Even now, Cindy continues to entrench herself in her "position"- her rights as a victim, her constitutional rights being violated, her right to have an unsupervised (in any form) visit with Casey.  Does she really think Casey's going to listen to her now?  Seriously?  She hasn't respected or listened to Cindy for years and now, she's got nothing to lose.  Cindy honestly (an oxymoron, I know) believes she holds sway over Casey.  Casey, on the other hand, has no bargaining chip.  Cindy can't pull this one out of a hat for her, so Cindy's as useless to Casey as Amy's empty checkbook.  It appears more than one person is going to be receiving a reality check during this trial.  If Cindy's in denial about anything, it's the fact that Casey hates her.   All MOO

Quick question for our legal-eagle monkeys: Would the stations involved be required to prove material injury resulting from the confidentiality agreement?  Is their argument that an independent station (one not signing the agreement) will scoop them and they will legally be unable to compete?  The way I see it, is that stations agreeing to confidentiality are guaranteed accurate information with ease; whereas independent stations will have to track down sources and verify info quickly.  IMO, Judge Perry was serving notice to the defense that he would not allow them to taint the jury pool with media appearances by giving them the jury selection location in advance.  I expect the DCA to uphold Judge Perry's ruling. JMO

A few years ago I served on a jury and the public was not allowed in the court room for voir dire. The judge,lawyers,defendant,court reporter,etc. were there but it was very much a closed proceeding. It was videotaped and prospective jurors were identified by numbers only. Not sure how it is done in Florida and I can only imagine the questions this defense will ask !

The case of accused child-killer Casey Anthony has been such a magnet for media coverage that Judge Belvin Perry decided to pick a jury outside Central Florida and import it for the upcoming trial. That's an unusual but not unheard-of move for a judge presiding in a high-profile case.

But Perry has done something else that he acknowledges is unprecedented. We think it's also unwise, and unjustified.

Perry ordered news outlets to sign a "confidentiality agreement" if they want to find out ahead of time — from the court — where in Florida the jury will be chosen. The agreement forces them to wait for the location until the day before jury selection begins, and to hold off on reporting that information until selection is under way.

Agreement signers who violate its terms will lose the right to cover the trial for themselves and their news organizations. They also could be fined or jailed.

Perry says he set these conditions to prevent an explosion of news coverage ahead of jury selection in the new location, which he fears would taint the pool of possible jurors and compromise Anthony's constitutional right to a fair trial. We share his goal of a fair trial. We just think he has overreached in trying to get there.

Let me try to answer your question this way: A witness has the Constitutional right to refuse to answer an incriminating question. However, under Florida law, a prosecutor can give what is called “use immunity” to a witness, which means the prosecutor cannot use the answer against the witness in a future criminal prosecution. If a witness just refuses to cooperate, the court can use contempt power to put the witness in custody until the witness agrees to cooperate. That is called “civil contempt.” The witness carries the keys to the jail in his pocket and will be released as soon as he cooperates. Alternatively, the court can order the witness to answer, and if the witness still refuses to cooperate, criminal contempt proceedings can be initiated. It is up to the state attorney to decide whether to bring charges against anyone, and the decision not to prosecute cannot be reviewed by any court or even the governor. Orange-Osceola Chief Judge Belvin Perry put in place rules Wednesday governing how members of the public may get seats in court for the upcoming Casey Anthony trial and how protesters will be permitted to assemble outside the courthouse.

Roughly 50 seats in the Orange County Courthouse's 23rd floor courtroom will be made available to the public each day of the trial. Members of the public will be able to line up outside the courthouse on trial days. Seating passes will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis at about 8 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. each day.

Perry expects to hold court starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. during the week and then 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.

No one will be allowed on the courthouse's 23rd floor without a seat pass during the trial, which is expected to last nearly two months.

Good morning, everybody!  It was also interesting to note that in attempting to defend their position, the Anthonys and their attorney actually serve to reinforce the laws and precedents already established.  Each and every jail/prison visit is monitored for a variety of security purposes in the event (but not limited to) that an inmate may be orchestrating a secondary crime (setting up a drug deal, ordering a hit, authorizing retribution/intimidation/tampering of a witness, directing subordinates to conduct illegal activities, etc.).  Moreover, the Anthonys are barking up the wrong legal tree for the third time in nearly three years.  OCSO has already legally established and successfully defended the right to record and monitor inmate visits and monitor correspondence to ensure inmate/staff/public security. It is the established procedure in the majority of correctional facilities nationwide. Furthermore, it serves as a tool to identify correctional facility employees who may be aiding and abetting inmates.  All of which benefit the general populace and facilitate open communication between OCSO and the public, fostering public trust.  It all goes back to people who have nothing to hide, hide nothing...they have no need to.  There is nothing preventing George or Cindy Anthony from declaring their love, support, and encouragement to Casey Anthony.  There is nothing preventing them from encouraging her to tell the truth.  There is nothing preventing them from writing/"speaking"  to her via Jose Baez and him telling Casey what was said. The fact of the matter is, Casey has freely chosen her counsel, whether the Anthonys like it or not.  Casey is free to follow or reject her attorneys advice, whether the Anthonys like it or not.  Legally, they have zero standing to interfere.  The person they should be petitioning is Jose Baez.  If their concerns are based on Baez' competency or ineffective counsel, they should be addressing the FL Bar Association.

IMO, this is either: an attempt by Cindy and George to force Casey to listen to them and do what Cindy says or an overt to tamper with at least one declared witness.  There will be no special considerations because it it their child or a DP case.  To do so, would invalidate and overturn hundreds of thousands of court decisions nationwide.  While I understand their concern as parents, Casey made choices that got herself into this situation. It is her decision to "shut them out". They of all people should know how strong-willed their daughter is and that Casey only does what Casey wants to do. Cindy, in particular, would be better served to remove herself from the equation and seek a court-authorized  mediator to communicate with Baez and Casey.  IMO, in her attempt to control the situation and Casey, she's simply fueling the mother-daughter power struggle that precipitated Caylee's murder.  Cindy should have driven Casey straight to a police station the second she picked her up from Tony's, but her pride wouldn't let her.  All I can say is, it's going to be a big fall.  Cindy & George are left to deal with the fruit of their labor and it isn't going to be pretty.  I can only contend, along with Turbothink, that what the Anthonys have to hide is bigger than Casey throwing any one of them/all of them under the bus.  No wonder Cindy and George (specifically) are worried.  For someone who reportedly hated her father, repeatedly disrepected him/was contemptuous of him, and publicly accused him of messing with her (knowing full well inmate correspondence is monitored), it's interesting that he begged repeatedly for a solo visit with Casey and he was the calming one in the August 2009 jailhouse video when Casey began yelling at Cindy. It's interesting that George specifically is the one seeking an unrecorded visit with Casey.  He should be seeking a recorded visit with LE to protect his interests because when Casey gets done with him, he may seriously feel like his life is not worth living.  "A good name is better than riches."  Once the damage is done, it's not so readily reversible and George will likely have to contend with this for the rest of his life.  He'll be infamous nationwide.  It's my prayer, for Caylee's sake and his own, that he simply goes to LE or the state and tells the unadulterated truth.  The first step is the hardest and after that, it's all downhill.  There's freedom on the other side.   All MOO and sorry for monopolizing the board last night-now. Like everybody else here, Caylee had me at the third 911 call.     

I agree 4 DONKS..there is nothing mentally wrong with Baez or Mr Crusty Mason other then what is present in many defense attorneys..arrogance, flippancy, egotism and a big mouth.  Let's see how well all that bravado works in court at her "real" trial.  These hearings have been the warm up stage..and these press junkets are priceless.  Some might say those with big mouths and egos are hiding the fact that they got noting substantial to present..so they do what they do best open mouth insert ego.

Tupelo-ITA!  This was music to my ears.  LDB, in one of the recent hearings when she was questioning Cindy, sort of alluded to impending charges. I'm sorry I don't have a link, but I just remember thinking "Uh-huh, yeah!".  Cindy would be wise not to trifle with LDB.  She'll take Cindy down faster than Cindy could imagine.  Cindy and George are on record as identifying the smell as that like a dead body/human decomp/a smell a law enforcement officer doesn't forget, cleaning the car, and locating a live Casey.  That's followed by actively and publicly perpetrating a kidnapping scenario complete with public fundraising to "Find Caylee".  Fraud charges immediately come to mind, as well as complicity and  impending an investigation (to start).  Abuse of a corpse and improper burial come to mind also.  Perjury isn't the only option.  JMO

Thanks, CC!  Like everybody else here, I (and nearly everyone I know) would have loved to have had Caylee.  This was all so preventable.  We are righteously angry on Caylee's behalf, as we should be. Understandably, we're only furthered angered by the Anthonics (nod to Cappuchino).  This isn't blindsided parents trying to defend their unjustly accused child against a corrupt LE.  To me, this smacks of: knowledge aforethought; complicity; destroying evidence from a crime scene; possible abuse of a corpse; possible improper burial;  impeding an investigation; witness intimidation/tampering; fraud; filing three false police reports (including the stolen gas cans); libel; slander; and perjury. Again, JMO

George and Cindy Anthony want to meet with their daughter Casey Anthony in jail before, during and, if necessary, after her upcoming murder trial, but they don't want video of those meetings released to the public.

The request has been made in court papers filed this week by Mark Lippman, attorney for the Anthonys.

It's not even clear yet if Casey Anthony would agree to meet with her parents. They haven't visited her since early on in the case.

But that is in large part because recordings of those emotional and sometimes volatile visits became public record. They have been played over and over again on television and the Internet. They surfaced again this week with the news of Lippman's motion.

Jeff Ashton has 30 yrs and only makes @ 123K...he's not in it for the money.

And he doesn't want young mothers.  I think that's a mistake.  A young, single mother that likes to club would probably be able to empathize with KC.  Especially if that person were still living at home.

I think it will be very difficult for the public who plan to attend the trial.  Once they have their morning pass, they are not assured they will receive an afternoon pass.  Wonder if some will bring there lunch and leave the morning court only to line up again while eating lunch.  Or maybe the line up will have begun before lst seesion breaks.

I would opt to watch on tely... but then I don't live in Flda.   ::MonkeySlide::

The one thing I really like about the seating chart is that most of the public gets the better seats up close.  Only one row of media in front of them. Marinade Dave is waaay back there. lol

I've thought about this myself, Can.  In my mind, ICA will be very very interested in who will be judging her.  If I had to guess, I would say she will most likely want younger (less attractive in her eyes) women, and 20-30 year old men whom she thinks find her totally hot.  Then she'll throw in a liberal thinking older woman or two, and maybe a couple of older men if she thinks they will sympathize with her (or find her sexually interesting).  She's always about manipulating people. 

That would not be 45 minutes away. I think it will be Hillsboro or Brevard county.

A-H are the missing 8 seats?

I forgot to add, "she's playing "SURVIVOR" ", and this will be her biggest challenge yet.  She's going for "immunity" and she may enjoy this more than any other part about the trial.  She will feel she has some control over her fate, even if it's just a little.  I expect her to be very very opinionated, and vocal with her opinions.

Do they realize that this could have been a visit by CJBP for a second location, if necessary as he discussed.   I believe a fair jury can be seated anywhere & there is NO location that this case has not been saturated with as a result of today's resource capabilities local, cable, internet.

I SO totally agree with everything you said.............I am surprised the attorney for the Anthonys put out such a statement KNOWING the rules of the court and the procedures. At least he has kept them quiet for a while, but it sounds as if he is getting ready to go the way of their other ones............OUT THE DOOR...........

Why Not Find Caylee's Biological Father?

Dear Judge Eaton: With all the characters involved in the Anthony case, I keep getting caught up on the aspect that there is one major person missing. There seems to have been little effort made by the prosecution or the defense to who determine Caylee's biological father. Should we just take the Anthonys' word as fact that the father died in an accident? Wouldn't this man be Caylee's next of kin? Can this unknown variable have any bearing on the upcoming trial? -- Laura, Little Rock, Ark.

The identity of the biological father is not important to the charges that have been brought. There is a provision for the next of kin to be allowed to sit in the courtroom during a trial, but the next of kin is often a witness, and judges usually exclude them from the courtroom like other witnesses. -- Judge O.H.
