Same here Cookie, me and my coworkers are going through court withdrawls, so we are getting everything done so we can watch it all this afternoon. I am asking all the monkeys to say a prayer. One of my neighbors, whose kids I went to school with, is missing in on of the local state parks. He has been missing since early this afternoon. He is not that old and is a pretty spry guy so it worries me.

I hope everyone is doing well and the weather is nice, hot as blazes here.

Last night I had a meltdown. I really and truly lost it and thank God CC could get through on the phone a bit to at least calm me down.

I am so worried about my Josef, his one paw looks like hamburger meat ::MonkeyTears:: I had to carry him across the parking lot because he was just standing in the street.

I know Josef is old, I talked to a guy that owned his litter mate so I now know is is 13 about to be 14, I know he probably has some kind of immunity issue, I know his vet would tell me he thinks something is horribly wrong and it takes a while for this condition to heal on a old dog, so I don't know why I have this horrible feeling that there is something wrong. I think I am worrying myself about him so much. I know he is uncomfortable, he has to wear either boots or the cone in the car now because I caught him chewing. I almost had a wreck today because he was chewing and I looked back to yell at him and almost rear ended a truck in front of me.

I went to bed crying, I got to work and started crying and am crying now.

Thanks for listening Monkeys to my problem, I know you all are going through much more especially 4 donks and Trimm. Just needed to vent.

Love to you all. Gonna take him outside one last time, but he is wearing his booties tonight.

Jsm...Hang in there. The older dogs take longer to heal. I wish it was as simple as using a sling, I know that carrying him must be very hard. Please take care of yourself. Beela's tail gave a little wag today...see patience... ::dogwag::  Get some rest.

Boyz..glad that the gentlemen was found! good news for a change...

JSM, hope Joe is doing better. Our Australian cattle dog had "hot spots" which were really what the vet couldn't determine, for the last 5 years of her life. She constantly licked her paws. The vet told us she did it because the licking released some "feel good" hormone (eww!). Anyway, the only way I could clear them up (and then only temporarily) was to put her bucket on her head. Or, when I was desperate, I would take hubby's tube sock, or my old knee socks (being an old Catholic school girl, I have plenty of those!). I would cut the sock so the uncut part was long enough to cover the hot spots, then tie the rest of it around her humongous gut. It looked silly, and she still tried to lick, but we did get her some relief. We tried the boots, she would just lay down and refuse to move. Actually, I think she was part donkey!

Just be glad Joe isn't incontinent. When that happened with Bandit, I designed "doggy diapers" for her out of pull-ups. Poor dog, what coulda been worse than being "Ol Bucket Head" with a diaper on?! She was so embarrassed, she wouldn't go outside. But, she did get another 3 years with us.

Evening Monkeys...... thank you for your prayers and thoughts about Josef. I need to stay off the internet and listen to the vet.

He saw Josef today and said one paw has improved so much he couldn't believe it, the other one still is improving but not healed. He was truly amazed because he thought he was going to have to go to another treatment. Turns out, the paw that has improved has been getting extra help by his groomer. She is going to start the other paw on it on Monday except today he stepped on an acorn and started to limp. Hopefully it didn't burst a blister or he can't have it treated.

I missed Mr Ashton giving a whipping to bug/piggy boy. Good Lord, I saw that picture of the pig, read Magic Eyes recap during lunch and had to throw away my corny dog. In fact, I think I am going to copy Magic's post about the maggots and put it on the fridge when I need to lose weight.  ::MonkeyDevil::

I wish I could watch court tomorrow, but I have to skate but I do read updates at the rink and now I have that app on my phone, I can at least listen to it. Caught myself  on the way to the bank trying to look at my phone, I won't do that tomorrow.

Hope everyone is having a good evening and again thank you for all your prayers for Josef and me. You really don't know how much it means to me.  Prayers for you all and Justice For Caylee.

Cookie, he had bloodwork done a few months back, he is slightly in pain but the vet says he is healing well. He was shocked at how well he is doing. To tell the truth, I didn't see improvement. I am so sorry for your doggy itching, it happens this time of year and all I can do is give Josef benadryl to help with the grass allergies. Hopefully that is what your pup is going through. When do you leave for the lake. I hate it you won't be in town when I am there, would love to meet you. But you are going to have such a happy time with the grandkids. Enjoy and be safe. Hugs JSM

I don't get to watch the trial, just peek in occasionally  from work (and no, I'm not the NASA one!), so I missed Lee's performance. I'm just dying to know...did he wear his white socks?

Believe me, I am greatful he isn't incontinent. That is the one thing I have always worried about with his tummy problems.

IDK why Baez wears brown, unless it is to prove he is FOS. I have noticed that JA wears a lot of purple, not today, but yesterday and on the 15th I believe. Says a lot that he is here for Caylee. The Ants, OMG, they drive me mad!!!! My mom at lunch the other day felt so sorry for Cindy, I wanted to smack my mom until she said if it (KC) was her child she would believe her. I told her NO YOU WOULD NOT! You would dig and dig and hound your kid until they TOLD you where you grandchild is, plus she always knew the babysitter, school, daycare (no Nanny we aren't that rich) and finally she decided I was right that Cin Cin was FOS as well. The Ants have  ::MonkeyShovel:: dug themselves into a hole they can't get out of, hopefully they will learn to tell the truth.

Gosh, I have not been down here in a long time.  I spend so much time working and when I am not working I am sleeping or watching the trial. 

JSM, so sorry about Josef.  I don't know.  He is an old soul.  Just love him.  That is all you can do.  Do the best you can and I know you are.  I know you will know when he too much is too much. 

Still have both birdies.  The new one hurts my feelings alot.  I know that sounds crazy.  My son has become his best friend, which is fine with me.  He is so scared of something.  Does not like to be held, touched.  If you go near his cage, he hides.  He came to use like he was abused, but I don't know.  It has been a very long time now and he has not come out of his shell yet.  He does not bite though, just very very jumpy. 

Praying for justice for sweet Caylee.  I truly do  not know how I will be able to move on if the beotch walks.  I will be so upset. 

I hope everybody is doign okay.

Hi Zoo, been tied up in Caylees as well. Josef is an old soul, but he is getting a spring back in his step. So sorry to hear you one bird is scared of something, I know how it can hurt your feelings. When Josef is here and not feeling well he will ignore me. I never had birds, so I don't know how they react to stress and stuff, but I will keep you and your bird in my prayers.

What I saw of court today was wonderful, I think Caylee is lucky to have this prosecution team on her side. They are a true DREAM TEAM!!! If any books are written regarding this case, the only ones I would buy would be authored by Jeff, Linda and little Mr George. I truly think they are great.

I'm whooped, woke up at 5:30, tried to catch up on the monkeys, got to the rink at 8, turned on the iphone to watch/listen to court while I was putting on my skates, CC called while I was on the ice and said that Baez may be held in contempt. My coach, skating friends asked me for an update, told them what has been happening in the case. Skated, then back in the car and Mr Ashton was doing his thing with Dr Spitz. Thank goodness the speed limit on the tollway is 70 because I hauled azz home to see the ending of the bloodbath. It was wonderful.

Went to pick up Josef, stayed at the petlodge and ate lunch with the girls there. It was very early and didn't want to bring Josef home too soon. He has a tendancy to want to walk in the heat when we get home, so I thought it was better to stick to his usual Saturday routine. Anyways, it is hot as a firecracker outside, going to take him out for his last walk. His feet are looking better and belly is so so.

Prayers to all the monkeys in need, Trimm especially for you this week. 4 Donks, I pray Beela is doing better. Brandi, Bearly and No Rose I miss you both tremendously.

Guys love machismo. They love to "fix things", be they a car or a hassle you're telling them about. The ones who aren't dating you are not *strong* enough to date you. You are missing out on losers, so no loss there. There is someone out there for you....and he'll be the perfect fit. It takes a real man to stand back and let the woman be strong. Sometimes they have to be taught (cough..not mentioning any names, Mr. Tevye) but sometimes you're lucky enough to find one that just comes that way. You'll find him. We'll pray on it!

We can't see them all.  If we get even one complaint unless totally unwarranted we will move the post.  We don't have time to explain or quibble.  Moving a post to the Break Room is not a punishment and we don't keep "tabs" on who's posts get moved more than others.  It's just that many don't have time to watch during the day and the COMPLAIN if they have to wade thru post after post of off topic. 

Hope that explains why some posts get moved when you may think others might need to be moved too.

I got up at 5:15 so I could get ready to go to Mass with my Dad and Step mom at his Church in Dallas at 8 am  ::MonkeyEek:: . He retired from his teaching job but possibly will go back in a year (cut backs in school funding), but that is not the point I am getting at. He loves all his students because he knows that because they are special needs kids that makes him love them even more. I know he will miss them tremendously. He is a kind soul and I love my Daddy to no end. Happy Father's Day Daddy. But my real point to this post is this...

One of his students is in ICU at Childrens, this is 16 year old boy, his mother stays with him while he is there (they live 45 miles south of Dallas), my Saintly father picks her up on Sundays and during the week and takes her and her other kids when they are here to Mass. She speaks very little English, but I told her I would keep her in my prayers and if at all possible I ask you monkeys to keep them in your prayers as well. The kid had a kidney transplant four years ago and now he has an infection in his lungs.  ::MonkeyAngel:: So any prayers are appreciated. TIA JSM

This will be my second year since losing my dad and can say I do miss him alot.  Before the dementia and bad times that accompany that horrible disease he was my rock and will always appreciate and cherish the 60 years I had my daddy........

Thanks. My dad has been gone just over 8 years and I still would love to call him up and ask him questions. He was a good guy. The thing that makes me the saddest is that the grand kids did not get to know him. My oldest did but the rest only have slight memories of him and many have never met him. He loved kids and would have had a great time playing with all of them. But he and my son Glen are hanging out and causing all kinds of trouble I am sure.  ::MonkeyWink::

Hope everyone is doing OK.
I have a friend that flew in a week ago to help with my crazy schedule with Beela. Bless his heart he has been working with her and is quite the sling expert. Does her stretches and balance training. He is a "city" guy and his idea of casual is a blazer instead of a suit.  ::MonkeyDevil:: Took him to WallyWorld to buy jeans, sneakers and sport shirts...he was gobsmacked. He was leaving tomorrow but my sister is back in for more surgery so he's going to stay another week. We have had a series of bad storms rolling through and Beela can't have her drugs for it and she gets so scared that he went on line and ordered those thunder vests for both Jazz and Beela. I'll let you know if they work. Have been trying to keep up with Caylee thread but am really behind but pray that justice prevails.

Ok - gunna vent - My step-daughter is such a bitch. She blows her dad off for months - does not even invite him to her daughters birthday party - and then calls him when she needs money. She is apparently being evicted AGAIN so it is "daddy, can you help me?"  Mind you she gets eviction notices on a regular basis and does not work. She married a loser that works for the circus (I kid you not!)  She has three kids that she loses to CPS on a regular basis. She won't talk to me because I suggested that perhaps having 4 dogs in a trailer she can not pay for with three kids was a bad plan. I know. The kids will not be safe, I fear, until one of them is more seriously injured than the oldest that was scalded over 50 % of her body by mom. I fear it may take the death of one for anything to be done. I love my hubs for trying to see past her bad behavior but I can not. I cannot take the Anthony case any longer.  I cannot take the stupid innuendos played out for the whole world to see every day.  I WANT PROOF OF THEIR CRAP.  I am about ready to go postal on Bozo and Beotchface and Grandpa and Grandma and Lee.  I hate very last one of them. 

I am beginning to hate the Judge because he is allowing this nonsense to go on.  I know he has to, but come on.  How can somebody defend their client by blaming somebody who they have absolutely no evidence on?  That makes zero sense to me.  Do they do this in every trial?  Don't they just base their evidence on innocence of what they can prove?  Do all murder idiots go into trials knowing their lawyers will make some crap up? 

I do not know how to handle what I am feeling.  I hate our justice system.  I hate America.  I hate that a suspect can just decide to ruin somebody else's life. 

Why doesn't the judge just say, unless you have some evidence, STFU and save what you can and hope your client does not get the DP.  You cannot just go fishing for answers from people who are emotionally so crazy right now, hoping they will further your asinine theory.  CHIT OR GET OFF THE POT AND SIT DOWN AND STFU.

Took my friend to the airport last night. He did wonders working with Beela and she can struggle to her feet on her own and has an unsteady gait and occasionally falls but every day there is an improvement.
The thunder vests are a mini miracle and I recommend them. Both guys slept through the thunder storms...no anxiety or panic.
This AM went out and harvested about 20 elephant garlic and picked some pears. The donks would sell their souls for pears and I love the garlic. I don't garden so no veggies like Brandi has.
I've been trying to keep up with the trial but as usual I'm way behind. I so hope justice is finally here for Caylee (hope sinsin is charged with perjury) Hope to watch the closing arguments and am lighting a candle for justice.

My sweet brother who wouldn't harm a fly has had a stroke 10 days ago.  He's had so many health issues in the past five years.  Yesterday he was transported from local community hospital to a larger hospital some distance away to begin rehab.  It was on his left side.  My SIL said they will not know the full impact of the stroke for three weeks.  Thankfully he can talk, and walk with a cane.  No use of left arm. 
They live 3 1/2 hour drive away.  My hope is that he will be able to get his driver's license back. 
You know what they say, a man without a car and all that.  SIL doesn't drive.
My son, who arrived for a visit two weeks ago, keeps telling me 'mom, you have your hopes up and I don't want you to be let down, but Uncle G. will probably never drive again'.

One never knows what each day will bring.  Carpe diem. 

Can, don't allow anyone to take away your hope.  It has been two years this past weekend that my sister Connie had a massive stroke.  She is still getting better and that is not wishful thinking, it is a fact.  The brain is the most amazing part of our body and what it can retrain itself to do is a thing of beauty to behold.  She still can't talk (though some words are now coming out), she can't use one arm, she wears a brace and uses a cane to help her walk, but . . . one of our goals is for her to drive.  It will happen as long as we work hard and don't take no for an answer.

Today I had the dreaded doctor's appointment to renew prescriptions. This is the one my sister was complaining about me ignoring doctor's orders about gaining 10 lbs. My original plan was to wear ankle weights inside my boots but suddenly had a brilliant "B" plan. When he came into the exam room with my chart with my vitals he told me he wanted to talk about weight. I told him I was so glad he brought up that issue because I really didn't know how to broach the topic with him but that we were all talking in the waiting room and all his patients agree they were worried about his health because of the extra weight he has,we were afraid of diabetes, heart attack, high blood pressure and stroke. Thanked him very much for listening to our concerns..wished him well and left with my prescriptions.  No mention of my weight. ::MonkeyCool::

Monkeys, please pray for my coworker's nephew. He was on an oil well at work this morning and the pipe that goes in the ground popped out and almost amputated his leg. He splinted it with two boards and put a tournequent on it and when EMS got there they were amazed he did that himself because if not he would have bled to death. He is out of surgery, but is in a lot of pain. He has come through such hard times of getting his life back together, his kids back and now this. Any prayers would be great.  ::MonkeyAngel::

Just got back and dressed the dogs in their thunder vests for this afternoon's storms. We have had a lot of rain so no more burn bans..this is a good thing because I fear a neighbour will burn against the law and catch the woods on fire.

I have wonderful news of my bro.  He was transported to rehab on Monday and they sent him home yesterday. ::MonkeyCheer4::  Initially my SIL said he'd be there for eight weeks.  I spoke with him yesterday and he is so optimistic.   Said he hopes to have his driver's license back in six weeks.

So much for my son telling me he doubted Uncle G would ever drive again!

That is wonderful news 4Donks.  I bet they are happy to get of of dial up.  Wish we had some rain here. But no such luck. It's 108 here and dry. Which is odd for here. 

Stay safe in the storms 4 donks. So glad those vests help the pups. Amazing how those things work and who ever thought of it is wonderful.

  ::MonkeyAngel:: Thanks for the prayers Can. He is a recovering addict and is worried about going home with pain meds. They are keeping him until Sunday. We showed two doctors at work the x-ray and they were amazed he was coherent enough to splint his leg and said he really needs to be careful because just looking at the x-ray he still has a chance to lose his leg due to infection.

I don't now what my computer is doing but it's being a pain. Had to reboot and when I did it logged me out of every thing and I had to use my passwords for everything. It wont let me download any thing into my mail. On any of me email accounts. It must of done an up date that messed with my settings some how.  ::MonkeyMad:: I got my anti virus program fixed but can't figure out how to fix my email attachments.

::MonkeyTears:: Prayers for Shannon Stone, his son Cooper, their family and Josh Hamilton. My heart breaks for Cooper losing his dad that was trying to get a baseball for his him. My heart truly breaks for Josh because of his history of drugs and being suicidal. I pray he can get through this. God bless the Texas Rangers for taking this family and starting a fund for the family.
