One media is reporting that a group of witnesses has been reinterviewed by the Investigating Team and one of them might be called in the next couple of days. There is a total of 24 rechercheurs working on this case. The Prosecutor's office will not confirm nor deny any information about this case. As we already know, the only person that might give a statement about the case is the Chief of police, Peter de Witte.

Hello monkey freinds! BT, I am glad you ate. This has been a very interesting day to read. The feelings of a lot of the Dutch people that Joran is a liar and hiding a lot! Paulus had said "Joran will not sugar coat" in this book. Joran sure didn't sugar-coat himself....and I am glad.

Angie, Easy has been sick with something too. We've been joking about how we must have both caught a computer virus.  :lol:  I just got an email from him saying that's he's feeling better, but I don't think he's received any big news from Jossy in the past couple of days.

I`m on page 275 now,  

I really really wish this book would be also published in English! So that you all could read it. Whatever stance you have about this case....

Basically it`s all about what happened with Joran, the arrest, the incarceration, parts of his diary he wrote while in jail, he definitely doesn`t spare himself, so imo it isn`t a selfgrandizing book. I find it interesting to read what he went through, his parents, what all those lies accomplished, total chaos, all the people who have been arrested only because they know Joran, the pressure of the police, the interrogations, the "taped" conversations also of Deepak and Satish when they were together, ( what the f*** kind of language are the youth speaking these kind of days anyway, sheeshhhh, lmao, it`s abacadabra for me!)

The way they were played against each other, the policeofficer who slapped him a "tough guy" named Boy Boezem, who was suspended for 3 weeks after this occured. There were multiple statements about that this indeed happened.

The police seemed indeed to have wanted to "please" the US and tried to pressure him into a confession with all means.....

I`m now into the Larry "sneaky" Garrison part, and his set up for Joran..

What he told about Natalee is basically what we already heard and read, I didn`t notice until now nothing "new".

ETA; I mean the beach thingy and the dry sex part etc....

In the beginning it seemed that when Joran came into C&C`s, Natalee was dancing on the stage and her ex was also on the stage, Joran greeted Ruth and somehow she wanted Joran to go and dance with Natalee....but this was in the beginning of the book, so that one i`ll go and read again tomorrow and snip a piece of that and will post it, very strange......

And Beau Barron was the first one who ate/drink jelly out of Natalee`s belly earlier in C&C`s.....

I notice many commented about Peter De Vries..His report was a major blow to Jorans book and his public perception in holland.

I wrote to De Vries twice and never heard back. I have the feeling the KLPD told him to back off since they had plans to visit Aruba.

He is FOS.  I want to see the statements.  Prove it.

I also remember that Joran got slugged while incarcerated, and that it had something to do with a soccer game. (I think it was initially represented as a "beating" - as though by a guard or some official - but that turned out not to be the case.)

Yeah, he's back and for a long time I was enjoying his posts, but out

Yes, I am back and hope to stay around for a while this time.

BT hope you saw where I explained why no email as promised.

sb ISP Technie checked out everything this morning and said over 50% chance it was the modem on the way out.  Replaced with a new modem and everything going smoothly since then.  Pages even loading faster which is a bonus.  I had kept a "log" of times it dropped out then reconnected and he pounced on the modem straight away.  For instance it had disconnected itself 8 times yesterday, sometimes for hours, other times for 5 minutes. He had already tested outside lines before arriving here.  I have my fingers crossed but it is difficult to hang from branches with crossed fingers  :lol:  :lol:  Thank you for your advice.

Greta once did a segment on her program about who knew what when and she stated that there was no news coverage released until Tuesday evening news.

I think this was in regard to how some, in particular the headmaster, knew that Natalee was missing quite early on.  It was explained as probably it was on the radio which I always doubted.  Paulus told him.

And if it was already on the news on Monday, I wonder why when Dave Holloway arrived on Wednesday, no one knew Natalee was even missing, not even at the police stations.

Maybe they couldn't hear over all that crunching of their Frosted Flakes.

If this was in fact on the news on Monday it was later in the day.  None of those kids in school knew Natalee was missing.  Unless there was someone present and is a witness.  I will also say that not only Pauls was not the only one talking to the Head Master.  Anita was probably ringing his phone off the hook.

Also let's not forget that when Dave arrived on the island he went to a police station to talk to the police and they told him they didn't know anything about a missing tourist.

Yes, I read your post.  There has been some discussion about the Masons and some arguments about it.  IMO, if a member of the Masons is some way involved in the case, it's not because they are a Mason, it's because of the "culture" in Aruba.  There are some that believe it's possible Natalee was violated by more than just Joran and the K2's.

The house I live in got struck by lightning before we bought it.  I didn't
know it at the time.  The house is haunted, too.  There is a guy that haunts the house and we even got a picture of him.  I've asked around
and it's said that the reason he's here is because of the energy that

that but I know he's here... not all the time though.

 I had a sald at work for lunch..  :shock:  It was huge.. a chicken salad. had marinated chicken in it, tomatos.. mushrooms..onions.. 3 different kinds of cheese.. and had french frys and onion rings on top of it all with melted cheese on it. I picked the frys and onion rings off and ate those seperate  LOL  ate a little of the salad when I got home.  Hubby and son.. had hot sausage, green peppers, onions in the crockpot and I made them frys .  I can go days too without eating anything.. but I cook for the mosters here.. half the time it goes to waste cause I am at work and they are too damn lazy to heat it up themselves.   :roll:  :roll:  :roll:

I don't eat like I should sometimes because there isn't any one to cook for most the time.  My daughter works and doesn't get home til pretty late.  She's not lazy about cooking and neither is my son.  Both of them cook good... better than their mom.  They're more creative with the spices.  We lived in Mexico and I think they picked that up down there.

Ohhhh and my son is married, newlywed. Now he cooks for his wife.

My daugher went through that for a while... but they grow out of it.

The picture we got of him was really cool.  It was on a cell phone digital
camera.  My daughter was taking pictures of herself with it... and one of them ended up with him and her in it.  He was looking at the phone like he didn't know what it was and then when the flash went off he jumped and it showed like 20 shots of his movement accross one side of the picture with an "oh, shit" look on his face.

We had been talking about him being here, cause strange stuff was happening, so when we got the picture, we were sorta relieved but became scared at the same time.  He would do wierd things but, like your ghost he spent most his time up stairs where my daughter 's room is.

One time she was dating this guy and a couple times when she was ithe him  the ghost  pounded on the kitchen wall.... the dog and I both looked at the wall and then at eachother like "did you hear that".... it was funny!

He quieted down after we got his picture and my daughter said that she had a talk with him.  That may be why hes gone.  I try not to talk about it too much... it might bring him back

Only he knows if he did something wrong. I think Joran likes the idea that he holds knowledge the world wants. It feeds his ego. I also think he's mistaken about what others know, and eventually, that just may come back to haunt him.

He hopes that anyone who knows MORE will come forward. He's gone 2 years without evidence worthy of putting him away, surfacing enough to stick. He's confident and taunting that his teflon coating won't chip. Somewhere along the way, Joran came to enjoy watching the "problem areas" fade away into nothing. The shoes weren't enough, the lies weren't enough, the search warrant wasn't enough, and on and on. He must feel invincible, and with his problems going into this, that's a recipe for disaster.

Complete and Utter non-sense and the delusions of a lying maniac and his  subordinate! First of all the Skeeter Tapes were tampered with by the ALE. Roger admitted he got the Tapes (his version) directly from the ALE. Jamie Skeeters' Tapes were NOT tampered with by him in any way. The FBI and DFI / NFI have all examined those tapes (Hard - Drive) and the FBI has remained silent on the finding. As they normally would while an investigation is on going. The NFI did call Jamie and they told him that his VERSION was clean and when he died he was waiting for a written confirmation from them declaring those findings. I do not know if that letter ever arrived. They told him on the phone that he was CLEAR. The top forensic technology researcher at the NFI issued that phone call to Jamie directly and he told Jamie that the ALE version was tampered, NOT HIS.

If he is with Natalee during those hours as he now admits, it seems to clear the Kalpoes by his admission, (not that I believe they are innocent) and he places himself as the main suspect. There isn't anymore time for something bad to have happened that doesn't involve him specifically.

I think it's one of the sadder occurrences of this entire masquerade. I think Beth is a terrific woman and Jug has done all he could. They are to be admired for everything they have been through. I don't think I know many couples that could have made it. Look at John Walsh as an example.

I agree with what you say 100%. There is no way that Jorans publisher should of been allowed full access to the police records being it is still an ongoing investigation. The case isn't closed yet. That in itself is tampering with evidence. Even if the suspect says it's ok, the ALE and Officials should of nipped that in the bud, I mean, where is the legal ramifications to this?

I sure hope Beth and Dave step up and have this looked into on the legal stance and persue their legal rights towards this leak for a books sake. I really truly hope that the Dutch know this is outright favortism and illegal as hell.


On the book issue, I'm with you on that. Scared Monkeys has a lot of people here that can help in the writing of the book too. I have information I can present to the table to add to the book that shows facts prior the MSM prodcasting the news. Just say the word and I'm in. During a television program this week in the Netherlands (the only interview he gave) describes in detail what happened according to him that night, when he met Holloway.

It must be said that the Dutch newspapers wrote about the book and also gave its readers the opportunity to react on the book and this young person. It must be said that practically none of the comments were positive and most were venting hate and anger towards this young person and all were considering him as a threat and a disgrace to society. Very little, here and there, left a good word for vd Sloot, who is wel aware of his acts.

Vd Sloot is aware of the fact that this case can be 'stashed away' [translating 'doofpot' - ag]. But he is so tired of this entire case that he does not care what happens now. For now, he is studying business and some day wants to return to Aruba to start a business on Aruba. The question that many made was if the contents of the books could have an infulence on the case that is still in full investigation and if it can affect him as such. In an either positive or negative way.

This because the book is fairly detailed about what happened. At the same moment vd Sloot continues and repeats various times that is a liar and that he still likes to lie and it comes easy to him. His first relationship that he had when he went to the Netherlands last year, lasted a very short time because of these reasons. But now he has a stable relationship with a person who believes what he tells her. And that's why he does not want to lie anymore. Time will say if the book that he published will have any effects on the case that is still ongoing.

At the same moment the mother of Joran, meaning Anita vd Sloot also has a book on this topic, from a mother's point of view, what were the feelings around this case. But seeing that her son published his book first, Anita vd Sloot decided that she is not going to publish hers yet until the end of the year to give her son a chance to get on the market and see how the reaction is. The mother thought to publish her version of how she fees at the end of the year.

This is just another example of the pain and suffering Joran and Paulus have caused this family and for which they should pay.

I don't understand how with the reason for denial of payment to Paulus, he is out of jail let alone an attorney in good standing in Aruba.  Goes to the quality of their judiciary again, I suppose.

And those folks, the same ones who are so good and kind and for whom we are supposed to feel such compassion just can't get enough of victim and family bashing, can they?  Any negative news just has to be spread all around as much as they can.

Maybe Oduber should call a press conference to announce it when their divorce is final if it is not already since it's so much of their business.  They have always been far too eager and desperate to trash Natalee and Beth.

What they do fail to appreciate is that none of that matters, even if it were true which it isn't.  But not one bit of that has a thing to do with the fact that those last seen with Natalee Holloway have lied and admit to doing so and brag about continuing to lie until this day and Aruba does nothing at all about it.

Actuaually here in the USA once you have been arrested, you have the right to read all that has been said about you.  I don't know about getting all the paperwork, but,....thats what I have seen here.  and NO I dont think its right at all, especially if the person was NOT cleared of any wrong doing.

Today on the Dutch television, they asked Joran a Question.
the question whas “do you care about the boycott or Aruba,s situation ??” his answer was NO because he thinks it’s silly..so i say as an Arubian this makes me mad as hell because he is living it large in Holland and we suffer with the consequenses about his actions.

In his book Joran is apperently on the offensive as well… Just on the dutch SBS 6 tvshow “Shownieuws”: PRdeVries reacts on accusations by JvdSloot in his book that he’d burgled his appartement.
PRdV: It’s a man that didn’t choke in his first lie and the whole story about the link between the burglery and my show is without any foundation.., nothing of that is true.., I don’t know anything of a burglery.., I have nothing to do with that.., not direct nor indirect.., I had no pre-knowledge of that.., I didn’t give permission for it.., nobody asked me for it… Absolutely nothing, nothing, nothing! So any suggestion that he does in that direction is utterly unfounded and says more about him than about me!

Peter de Vries has reacted today in sbs 6 shownieuws at the accusation of Joran De Vries burgled his appartment. He reacted he had nothing to do with it. He just denied it had anything to do with his show at the end of November 2006.

He also reacted at Joran's remark dat De Vries did cooperate with Beth Holloway. He said he wanted to show both sides. He said he wanted to ask the Van der Sloots, and Joran some questions but they didn't want to answer these. He even said that they are afraid to answer these questions...

Joran isn't making any friends lately. In his book he accuses Jamie Skeeters of offering to pay one of the girls money to lie and say that he drugged and raped her.

We know skeeters isnt here to call him on that lie. If Joran drugged and raped other girls on Aruba..You would hope they speak up now with the dutch on the island. If joran and other pimps would have been prosecuted for drugging and raping the girls previously Natalee would be in her second year of college right now.

I sometimes wonder if the US were to offer to protect any witnesses against the VDS clan, if some would be more willing to say what they know. Just offering a reward might not be enough if someone fears for their life.

Joran went on that show thinking he was going to BS he way thought it. By watching his actions he went on there like they were his best buddies.  At one point the girl in back of him put her hand on her mouth and leaned over and said something to the guy she was with.  Sort of like she was shocked or embarrased at what he said.

I would say no BT.  Because what would happen is they would do something to their immediate family members as a warning.

Sort of like the Kalpoes.  If they came here they would threaten their mother and sister.  The whole family would have to come to the U.S. and get away from Aruba.

Well, ya know it has worked for him before.  He thinks he is so much smarter and that he can just spew all the lies he wants with no recourse.  And so far, he has been able to.  It sickens me beyond words.  But this will be his downfall.  One way or another, his big mouth is gonna be his downfall.

Last I heard the family wasn't getting any information at all.  I suspect if Elisabeth heard or read it we'll be seeing it in one of the online papers or ever on one of the other blogs by tomorrow at the latest.  I did ask Elisabeth how she got the information, whether it was on tv, radio or paper.  Hopefully she'll let us know.

It has always been said Natalee did not have International calling on her cell phone. So this is hypothetical or something. Could she still have called her classmates who were there?

A couple of years ago a friend and I were disagreeing on one of his birthday parties. So he picks up my phone to prove it to me and calls his SIL. It turns out we were both right but while were talking I remembered his sil is on vacation in Hawaii. So I panic and tell him to get off my phone. He was calling her cell phone which had the same area code as us.
Now I realise Hawaii is still in the US but it is along ways off.
