No, I didn't see any actual facts in the statements by Opus concerning LVR.  Anyone with buzz cut hair seems to meet his description for her even though she seems to have been stalking him when she was in Aruba.  I'm surprised such a big rich drug dealing wheeler dealer would stoop so low as to making porn.  I'd have to say that sounds pretty desperate to me.

Hey all...ok...still trying to catch up..but I see it is possible that the car w/ the chunk out of the steering wheel was a loner. So did we get anywhere...or did we stop when I left..lol...with the comparison of the blood samples on June 9th and what and where from they got the samples from? Could the blood found have come from a car other than Deepaks? which would then calm my fears about the FBI...just could not understand why they would say it was anything other than blood...instead of cleaner/chocolate if they witnessed seeing it...and how the ALE could have pulled one over on them so easily if the swabs were switched. BUT if the blood was found in a different car..it makes sense to me!! They can't disclose any new info relevant to the case...would make it inadmissable, but could state that the results showed Deepak's car had cleaning fluid/chocolate and not hurt the case. Were they trying to tell us all something?

When they couldn't wake her up, the three of them took off together, leaving Natalee alone on the beach.

After telling this to polis, Freddy then told it to Joran's parents, who confronted Joran with it, and Joran agreed Freddy was telling the truth (I'm not sure if that means about every detail, or just about them having taken Natalee to the beach).

Joran also says in his book he did not tell Freddy the HI lie on May 30, he did not know Natalee was missing until the morning of May 31. And he denies telling Freddy about Natalee repeatedly falling down and not being able to wake her up, or about the three leaving her alone on the beach.

I have no doubt that Joran told Freddy lots of things but that none of what he told Freddy was accurate.

oh...there is no way any adult professional who has no stake in the case like the Dutch there investigating would not want to drag the little pompous a-- to jail!! That's pretty important, in my opinion.  How did Joran know Natalee was missing and did not make her flight back?  Same way he knew he could tell the lies about winning money back for her, etc. without her turning up to contradict him.

Circumstantial but things like that are usually considered as some sort of evidence except in Aruba.

Definitely, the fact that Joran told this to Freddy as early as May 31st should ring bells. It says a lot about what Joran knew Natalee's condition to be. I see no value in yet another beach story, though, when we have more abundant evidence than ever that the crimes centered around the VDS home and grounds.

It shows that Joran is already in lie-and-spin mode EARLY ON.

BTW, a vanilla story about Natalee passing out on the beach is so obviously an invention of Joran's brains and cunning because it carefully insures that NO ONE is judged guilty of a crime there.

‘THEY’ WENT INTO PANIC WHEN NATALEE REMAINED ‘PASSED OUT’
The Natalee Case…Dutch official report shows


Oranjestad (AAN) As promised to the peoples of Aruba and the U.S.A., DIARIO will continue with its investigation on the missing girl, Natalee Holloway, and will publish legitimate documents accompanied by analysis and questions that sooner or later will bring out the truth.

Today, the investigative team of DIARIO is publishing part of an official report given by a Dutch police officer who came to Aruba to interrogate Joran van der Sloot among others.

The Dutch police officer states that Joran van Der Sloot is aware of the possibility that exists that one day the American authorities will ask for his extradition due to the fact that the missing girl (Natalee) is an American Citizen. Joran’s reaction was that he began to laugh!

Now Joran began to laugh because he was afraid or because he felt reassured because he was told beforehand that “no body, no crime”?

From this same official report one can deduct that Joran again throws the ball in Deepak Kalpoe’s corner, because he tells the Dutch officer that if they interrogate Deepak in the same manner that they interrogated Joran, then Deepak for sure will tell the truth. Which truth? How come the Dutch police officer did not ask Van der Sloot about which truth he was referring to?

Joran also said that if some weeks before they had interrogated him in the aforementioned manner, then the truth would have come out much faster!

Again the question remains: to what truth is Joran referring to? The supposed truth that he left Natalee behind all alone on the beach? That is the truth that he so heavily sustained during so many weeks with his mouth closed, turn all sorts of story around, remain without speaking, become fresh with the police interrogators, come every time with a different story to contradict other stories, and that show that he had been lying from the beginning?

The question now is: what is Joran referring to with this ‘different form of interrogation’?

How come they did not continue with this ‘different form of interrogation’ of the suspects, to determine what happened to Natalee and where Natalee is?

The culminating part of this procesvebaal (official report) is that when the police officer mentioned the ollowing: “I, De Ruiter, mentioned to Van der Sloot that there was no interest in lying to him about this fact (he is referring to the declaration of Freddy Zedan Arambatzis) because the importance of the declaration made by the witness Zedan Arambatzis, was directed towards the fact that Joran had already on the 30th of May told Freddy the story about the Holliday Inn and that Joran told Freddy also that “they” went into panic when Natalee remained “passed out”!

Everyone can read today what was put black on white “Dat ze” went into panic, and the “Ze” here in Dutch hows that more than one person was involved in that part about entering into panic, because “ze” is plural.

There is nowhere in this official report that Joran hurriedly contradicted the Dutch police when reference was made to “They” entered into panic and said that there were no other people involved!

Seeing that the Dutch officer himself mentions that “they” entered into panic, according to the declaration of Freddy Zedan, then there were more than one person involved and everyone can reach his own conclusion that Freddy Zedan knows those who he himself referred to as “they”, or in Papiamento “nan”. “They” went into panic when Natalee remained passed out! This means that more than one person was present when Natalee remained passed out and where are these people who were with Natalee when she remained passed out? On the beach like “they” want the police and everyone else to believe, or elsewhere? Do they who belong to the group referred to as “they” realize now that the circle is slowly closing around “them”? For those who understand what this means, few words are necessary!

The strange part is that Joran declared to the Dutch policeman based on his questions, that he had recently spoken to the witness Freddy Zedan Arambatzis, and that during that conversation, Joran asked Freddy why he mentioned the date of 30 May, and Van der Sloot told the policeman that he (Freddy) just mentioned a date and that the witness in truth heard the story from Van der Sloot himself the day after Natalee disappeared.

Here’s another point in the investigation that proves very controversial and even questions severely the fact that a suspect in police custody or is under investigation, even has the possibility and facility to speak to one of the witnesses, that is Freddy Zedan Arambatzis.

In which part of the world can a suspect under police investigation for the disappearance of someone, get the possibility to speak to a witness who is his friend?

On which day did Joran speak with Freddy, where and who gave Joran (while in police custody) the great privilege to speak to a witness who can declare in his favor?

Reading the expositions of the Dutch police officer, who mentioned extradition to Joran, sources in the U.S. are indicating that they are waiting for the opportune moment to ask for the extradition of Joran van der Sloot, the brothers Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, Freddy Arambatzis, and other names that have not yet been made public.

Preparations can be under way to petition internationally for an order of arrest via the Interpol for those who the U.S. wants to extradite because, as those sources say, they will get them any part of the world and will bring them to justice; in Aruba they won’t get as many years in prison like in the U.S.

I will be going out to dinner and a play with my daughter tomorrow night while Papa and Daddy look after her four kids (4-9).  I am really looking forward to a special time with her ... no husband and kids demanding her attention.   Staying overnight at her home and going to church with them on Sunday morning.  Then ... nothing.  My daughter and family will be going to "the other side" for the rest of the day.  I hate sharing.  Oldest son, wife and baby live on Vancouver Island and ... youngest son and wife are in Israel on the mission field.  Maybe a couple of phone calls are forthcoming.

Maybe, just maybe it is time  to quit trying to ASK them questions and starting to TELL them a few things!

The Dutch constitution was re-written in the early 1800's so their system is not older than ours as some of them like to claim.  It is, however, relatively old.

So how did they convict BEFORE forensics came along?  How can circumstantial evidence be totally disregarded?  Irregular time lines and self incriminating statements just seem to count for nothing.

There is no judicial system that requires total physical evidence.  And if there is one and this is one of them, why did the ALE not go for that and take evidence from the suspects last seen with Natalee instead of the much more elusive wire taping?

It makes no sense and if this ends up with the suspects walking, I do hope that those who made this professional cover up are the ones to go to jail in their stead.  We will see then if it was worth it to them to lie for this scum.

I'm still holding out that the Dutch are going to do the right thing. I'll admit I'm losing hope fast but I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet. I'm the most pessimistic guy there is but I'm holding on to the hope that the Dutch don't want to leave giving the Rubes credit for a successful coverup. I think the Dutch hold themselves to a higher standard and closing the case simply says that the ALE one-upped-them.
I also don't think these new investigators view the VDSs as 'breatheren'. I think they'd nail the Sloots in a heartbeat.  I think they are slowly building their case and for those of us, even the haters, that know these pricks are guilty, just need to give them some time to present their case.

I don't understand why the Kalpoes are so afraid the JVDS.  Never got that, I always thought they held the trump card.

I believe it's at about 40% containment right now and only one or 2 residences were lost.  The firemen did a great job keeping the properties and Avalon safe.  The weather has been cooperating so I expect it will be 100% contained in a couple days.

The fire has burned 4,200 acres burned. It is now 35% contained, and officials expect full containment by Tuesday. Mayor Robert Kennedy praised the efforts of the Navy, the L.A. County Fire Department and the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.  "Without that response we wouldn't be standing in front of you today," he said.

Seven hundred people from various agencies are fighting the fire.

County Supervisor Don Knabe praised the assistance. "The good Lord willing, the weather holds, and the wind stays down, we're in pretty good shape," said Knabe.

The pieces of the "puzzle" IMO are going to start fitting into place. Joran is going to implement someone in a way that is going to, if it hasn't already, backfire on Joran. IMO, these other people are going to start to try to clear themselves... from what he may say about them and Joran is going to get nailed! I guess that is really all I want to say about it right now.

With regards to the case, I know now that in the past few days some members of the Dutch did visit the Kalpoe residence and tried to talk to the two brothers, but were rejected.

Easy, its been better but everyday it seems like I'm getting back to where I was before January 8th, 2007 when I got the news that I had throat cancer..  I mean I never smoked and I have always been pretty healthy.. But the good news is that I beat it after 40 radiation treatments and 11 weeks of chemo of pretty hard stuff..

Its amazing how many people I have met and how many have supported me in my fight..  I had great health plan and my office supported me all the way.. So I was very lucky because I had nothing to worry about except trying to maintain my weight.. What away to lose a lot of weight, in such a fast time.. I almost over did it, I went on a 75 mile bike ride on a Saturday and then a return trip that Sunday and it almost killed me.. I lost like 15lbs and that was the scariest part of my treatment.. The doctors almost died when I told them what I did and for a week they took me off of chemo and radiation and my body came back.. I was told not to ride my bike anymore but I still do but only short distance 25 miles or less a day..

I agree with this.  I also found it interesting that KJ's big case, in the Netherlands, was busting a gang.  I wondered if they are going for the "gang" activity on Aruba.

When Joran, Deepak and Satish were released from detention at the beginning of September, 2005 ... it was with conditions.  There were travel restrictions and ... they were to remain available for further questioning.  Approximately two weeks later those conditions were lifted.

Remember ... in December, 2005  ... the family was led to believe that Joran would be brought in for further questioning when he returned to Aruba from Holland for his Christmas break and ... all that all fell through when Joran attorney, Carlo Antonio, announced that it was not going to happen.

I assume everything is imported to that island and therefore everything is expensive.. I used to fly to the bahamas and I remember asking the locals how they got their supplies (tollet paper, auto parts, etc.) and they told me that Chalk Airlines flew them over and they paid them for that service.. Well I was thinking that I would start flying supplies over their but I never follow through.. So basically with less people wanting to go over there, I assume that basic economics 101 says supplies and demand makes the basic supplies very expensive.. So when I read the misdirection coming from Aruba, I know they are trying to redirect the anger of the locals against the local pimps to the tourist.. So blame the victim, has worked in the past but not this time..

Don't you think they must have had something in mind that didn't require a thorough inspection to check out? I mean, if Natalee was never at the Kalpoe residence, there wouldn't be much point in checking for something like DNA. If someone had described something about the Kalpoe property that was readily observable, however, it would make sense to go in and take a look.

In an interview early this morning, the spokesperson for the Prosecutor's office acknowledged the visit of the Dutch investigating team at the Kalpoe's house.

As we all know right now they are visiting all the places mentioned in the dossier that they have been reading for the last months and seeing for themselves the areas described in the PV's by the suspects and the witnesses.

This time is have a better look of the position of the house, where they park their car and the view from other houses into the Kalpoe home.

There are contradricting statements about the reason of the removal of the brothers from the house. Apparently the Dutch team who only wanted to do a viewing might have trespassed private property without a warrant and the brothers reacted on their right. They were taken to a station while the investigators 'looked' around and orientated themselves.

There might be legal consequences for the way these investigators has acted this morning..... so nothing new, just the sightseeings continue.

Thinking about the "viewing"....Mamma Kalpoe had a story to tell about how she knew that the boys were home....think it had to do with her
ability to see the room or door or light ...???...from her bed.  Don't have that story at hand....but perhaps the Dutch would like to have an interior sketch of the house....can they see what Mamma can see.... :?

I am thinking the Dutch asked for a search warrant and the Aruban judge buddy of Paulus refused to give them one without specifics.  I think the viewing is to get the specifics they want to search if they decide it is worth it to do a follow up.

Not sure after all this time that there is anything at the Kalpoes to search.

Second reason could be to let the Kalpoes know things don't look very good for them about now and maybe they might just want to think about telling all.

Exactly, Janet!  I couldn't agree more.  I would also volunteer to take a lie detector test and encourage my sons to do the same.  I love them more than life but if one of them caused the death of another human being, I'd hand them over if I knew it.  It would kill me to do so and I would never be the same but right is right no matter who it involved.  And no one loves their children more than I do.  But hiding them would go against everything I believe in and have taught them.  I couldn't live with myself if I concealed what they had done.

Without a warrant or permission, I don't think the police could go in the home. With neighbor's permission they could walk the perimeter around the house including the street.  Not sure what can be gained by walking around a house for an hour after two years.

It is possible, since the Kalpoes remain suspects, the police were allowed to survey the home and property for layout and locations. It is also a way to put some pressure on the Kalpoes. I hope this wasn't another PR show.

They do seem to be working on their own schedule, don't they?  From what I've seen, the Arubans work as little as possible and take as many holidays as they can.  These Dutch investigators do not appear to be taking any down time for themselves.  Good work, Dutch investigators.

Hope when I check back we at least have photos of the perps--er, I mean suspects, in handcuffs.  I hope they are those little plastic ones and on too tight!   :evil:

Holloway. The inspection was conducted by the prosecutor and by experts of
the team that since April 16 is in charge of the investigation of this case.

An inspection is a coercive measure aimed at observing or analyzing a
specific place or circumstances under which a criminal offence may have been
committed, or to establish facts related to a criminal case, without having
to resort to a stricter measure, which is the house search. An inspection

This particular inspection took place inside the house of the
above-mentioned suspects.

A house inspection is different from a house search. They are both coercive
measures, but a house search is conducted by an examining judge and its
purpose is to seize objects or to arrest a suspect.

A house inspection, on the other hand, is conducted by a prosecutor and its
purpose is to observe and analyze a certain place or situation.

A prosecutor is at all times authorized to conduct an inspection in all
places, although the law imposes stricter rules for conducting an inspection
inside a house. This procedure is laid down in articles 155-158 and article
188 of the Aruba Code of Criminal Procedure.

It is not necessary for the resident of the house to give his consent for
the house inspection to take place. However, the resident should be present

This was a "viewing" no seach permitted. They could have been viewing the layout to see if Nadira could have seen the boys enter and leave their room as she said she did. They also may have wanted to see if the boys shared a room and how easy it would be for both boys to access the computer. The warrant had to spell out the reason.

The way I recall it, was not that she said she could see them enter or not, but that when they came in they would close her bedroom door as a "sign" they were home. This of course odesn't mean much. Satish could have come in and shut her door and Deepak not have come in at the same time. IMO just a made up excuse.......for not really keeping tabs on when/what time they came and went.

Dihannah  Are you alone? If not, you could write down what your problem is and have someone call an emergency room at they hosp and they will often give advise or ask you to come in if the situation warrants.
Also..could leave a message to your own doctor's answering service and they are usually pretty good at getting right back to you. Especially since you had recent surgery.

I am currently at home alone.  If I can find help here, great, if not, I'll wait til hubby or daughter get back.  Today is her prom and I hate to upset the day for everybody.  I'm sure it's not emergency, but having alot of muscle pain all over my body.  AND I only had throat surgery.  Was fine all day yesterday after it.  It hit me this morning.

I live in West Palm Beach and I guess that makes me older than most and based on the universally accepted idea that Everybody Younger Than You Is a Total Moron (just ask any senior citizen). A correlation of this theory is that young children's minds are not shaped by their parents, their education, or the environment they grow up in, but by the toys they play with. So what kinda of toys did Joran, Kalpoe's and the other pimps play with.. So if you give them a gun, they'll grow up into adults that shoot each other. I know many poor youth who grew up in the time of Transformers and received serious bodily injuries trying to fold themselves into a car.  Now they made a full length movie and yes I will go and see it..  

But maybe I'm not the greatest judge of what's good and bad for children these days. I never really understood the rules that went into action/adventure cartoons. These rules, in case you didn't notice are:

No matter what happens, no matter how dangerous the situation may seem, a human being will never ever be seriously injured or killed. This means... No matter how many bullets you shoot at somebody, you will never hit them. The only thing guns are good for is shooting overhead lights, chandeliers, etc. that can fall on other people. If you shoot a plane and it explodes in a massive fireball, the pilot will always parachute out at the last second. (Also, if you shoot a tank, all passengers inside will have time to run to a safe distance while the explosion is building.) The only way to win a swordfight is to knock your opponents weapon out of his hand. It's okay to destroy as many robots as you'd like. That's why bad guys build massive armies of evil robots (opps sorry robot, I know your a good robot, BTGirl told me).. If you ask me, the most dangerous influence on children is the movie Peter Pan. I mean, think about it. The story revolves around these kids who decide to jump out of a 20th story building because this strange guy in green tights tells them they can fly. If I were a parent, I wouldn't be showing this to my kids until they had a very firm grasp on the concept of gravity.  This is how I felt until I found a whole island of misfits and I'm not too sure its because they watched too many Saturday-morning cartoons, more like porn at an early age..  I mean they find their behavior ok but we just shake our head..

Didn't they give you some medicine for your throat (NEO/POLY/HC 1% OTIC SOLUTION 10ML ) = Roxicet , MIRACLE MOUTHWASH   or MAGIC MOUTH WASH , HYDROCODONE/APAP 7.5MG/750MG TABS  or IBUPROFEN 600MG TABLETS ..  I would of thought that they would of made sure you had all or some of the above for your throat..  They do work..

They gave me darvocet, which isn't touching my muscle pain and it way worse than my throat soreness.  I don't even have eating restrictions, but have to make sure food is chewed real well, so it's soft.
