Let's be hypothetical.  If I wanted to get rid of Natalee, I would store her somewhere nearby so no one could find her.  I would (excuse me if this is gorey, but this is a gorey subject) see to it that she was in small enough pieces so that there would be no problem.  I would have concrete poured at my house but be sure she was not in the concrete, but I would tip the unethical concrete people a little more to put a package into their next batch of concrete, to be poured for use in water or perhaps even the foundation to a large motel or complex so that it would never be dug up.

Anyone else happen to notice the bodies of the females on Dancing With The Stars, or is it just me?   8)

Stupid LG TV is out again.  The Koreans or Chinese or somebody told me what to do to it.  I did that.  It worked for 8 hours.  Gone out again.  Makes me furious.  I would like to use it as a projectile on one of their heads.

There was a very strange young man here locally who killed both his parents and started to cut them up with a chain saw. When he had problems with the saw, he just left them like they were and continued living in the house with their bodies for a few days until someone discovered what he had done.  :shock:

Interesting subjects today?
Chopping up people - reminds me of a case near where I lived over 20 years ago when a man killed and dissected his wife.  Flushed pieces of her down the toilet.  Worked well until the sewerage drains blocked and they had to open them up to unblock them.  They had a couple of children who were sent to live with relatives (USA??) and the husband was sent to jail forever.

Tyler had a house fire near here last week caused by a plasma screen TV starting to smoke then exploding.  TV technician said in interview "They don't usually do that"

I am excited about the prospect of Anita and her scummy friends being investigated.  I have contended all along that she has more to do with Natalee's disappearance than the officials give her credit for.  And how better to keep tabs on Natalee's family movements in their searches than through the witch of Aruba.  Geez what set-up.

My take on the Dutch investigation and where it's heading.
I hate to say this simply because I'm always wrong -- BUT, I think they are methodically plotting out a case and all the dirtbags are going down.
I'm not frustrated that they haven't filed any charges yet, I'm encouraged that they've extended the 2 year thing. I think it just takes time, something we don't understand because it's all so obvious to us.
But making a case from destroyed/no evidence against criminals protected by a governmental coverup ain't no easy task.  They just can't Rambo in there and say "you lied - you're guilty".
The Dutch ain't there to look like suckup patsies to the ALE bozos.  They are tauted as an 'elite investigative team', not ALE idiot look alikes.
They're not in a hurry to give it up to a more elite Interpol or FBI team.
It's a pissing contest and the ALE are gonna be the ones pissed on.

Well, I bought one of the refrigerators with the bottom freezer with small TV in the door, and I am holding my breath on this stainless steel monster.  So far the TV in the fridge door is working better than the "real TV" that was installed in kitchen/keeping area.

Well, between fixing dinner, cleaning up, laundry and monitoring the kids homework, I was able to read the full Vanity Fair article for the first time tonight, thanks to the link in the last thread.

I actually can't even find the words to express what I'm feeling.  Mostly just heavy-hearted and very sad.  

I'm past anger, though it's come and gone in waves over the last two years.  Now I think I'm just plain numb with disappointment in some of my fellow so-called human beings.  

How sad our Creator must be.  How sad.

Fantastic.  I usually tie my Tuesday nights up and tonight I had nothing and I can't listen to Dana because he is not on and I can't watch Mitt because the fricking TV won't work in here and my DH has him on his room but the stupid dog is in there with him, and I just cannot tolerate all that dog and cat fight when the cats go in there with me.  I just want to live in a roach motel with my cat and an old CRT TV with a screen that works.

By the way, my TV did explode once, sparks went over to the sofa, the plastic melted in the TV, foam et al and the pets died with the toxins (I would have too,if home) even before the smoke alarm went off. They were in the back bedroom too. Vinyl (sp?) and plastics are bad!

I always unplug my TV now before I go out now.

Here's my story and I'm sticking to it....

I spent 90 minutes today with the DSL guy on the phone.  I thought it was my DSL at first.  I couldn't connect to any website.  It wouldn't pull up anything.  We fiddled and faddled until he gave up on me.  I could not access any sites, then finally my daughter came in and she tried to access the University's website.  Well, it worked, then she went to Google from there for me.  I have AVG but it told me I had a browser problem and I needed to reinstall it.  I spent another hour on that.  I couldn't get it to uninstall for me to reinstall.  Then I still couldn't get to IE or Firefox.  I have Firefox as my default browser.  So when I finally went to work, about 2 hours late, one of the guys there that does lots of computer stuff said it sounded as if my browser was hijacked. I did a system restore.  It took me 2 tries to get it to work.  He told me to try Micro Trend.  He even said I might need to down load the program from a flash drive and try it since I couldn't browse from my PC.  I did that and things began to get better.  Now it tells me I can't completely install Micro because I have spysweeper.  I went to remove it and it calls for some stupid advisor password.  Don't have a clue.  I then managed to get AVG reinstalled and ran it.  Didn't find anything, but I finally got my browser working again.  I am worried now that I can't keep it like this, because I have now uninstalled everything I had on it.  I guess I need to try that Ad Aware or whatever it is now.

AFAIK, you have to be approved to post at T4N so they must know who *toots* is.

Maybe it is a post from an Aruban message board of some kind.

Lalas - A few weeks ago I had my first-ever Computer Down situation at home. I don't even remember what all my symptoms were, but I couldn't get online, for one thing.

You know, I've felt that way alot too.  But, could have done the same show with less resources, dontcha think? I have never heard of hijack of an OS unless it came from the outside into you computer. A software program will get corrupt and needs to be reinstalled sometimes. I use Firefox and it will freeze certain pages. IMO maybe the webmasters of some pages program the HTML and other stuff on the page to just work only with IE.

I have trouble getting onto eBay sometimes and use 4 different browers and still takes a very, very long time. Verizon page just times out so I can't pay my bill and have to use the phone if I am late and it costs $$.

I took dancing and majorette lessons for nine years.  Yes, it does develop very strong leg muscles which are permanent.  I don't have much upper body strength any more but I still have very strong legs.  Instructor used to make us stand against a wall on one foot, up on toes for ten minutes.  Do that twice a day and anybody will develop very strong leg muscles.

Lala's, whenever I have had the type of computer problems you describe it is generally a combination of programs that get corrupted and/or trojans or viruses infecting hard drive.  You have two choices:  A.  spend an enormous amount of time troubleshooting, running anti-virus, anit-trojan programs, installing and reinstalling, or, B.  simply reformat your hard drive and reinstall windows.  The first option is frustrating and seldom effective.  The second option takes about an hour and you are up and running with a fresh OS.  If you reinstall windows, just be sure you know the settings for your internet connection, have any specific software you want to install or drivers you need to install handy.  However, windows installs most drivers that are necessary, so this isn't usually a problem.  Just check your internet connections settings before you reformat and reinstall so you can get back online!

Lalas - Everything AZlady is talking about, was mentioned to me during those various conversations I had at work. BUT - everyone also said, try unplugging first. Fortunately for me, that was all it took.

Otherwise, you're talking about getting to a C: prompt type screen - one of the F keys does that - to uninstall, re-install etc.

If your computer came loaded, you go to the computer company site and download the OS again - I think. You may need your Customer # or something to do that.

I had a similar thing happen recently.  Had to contact my useless tech support for my ISP.  They couldn't figure it out and had me contact Norton where I got the typical guy in India who didn't speak English.

After that and three hours and about six tech geeks, one told me to uninstall my ethernet card which I did.  When I restarted it, it reinstalled itself apparently.

But I also have been hacked twice.  I think they target people whom they suspect have lots of files.  I could find actual files where they had printed stuff off my computer and also connected me to five other computers and I could see photos on some of them!!  Have a hard drive with authorities in Birmingham but good luck getting them to do anything about it especially if the little hackers are from some place overseas and it ends in .nl apparently.

I had two additional printers installed which I have never even owned one of that brand!  

Now I just have dolls stored which no one seems to want to steal.  LOL!

If I can't remember it must not be important and have decided it really doesn't matter what we have.  Most I can find if I have to but what good does it do to have all the files and nobody is listening.

You might try double clicking on My Computer icon and see what the drives indicate.  Sometimes the separate partition is configured as a separate drive, sometimes not.  Do you have the documentation that came with the computer?  It should tell you how to burn the backup files to a CD so you can reinstall the OS. I know my daughter's new lappy came this way.

Lala's, one other idea would be to call the manufacturer or distributor of your computer--like Dell, or Gateway, or whoever put it together--and tell them you need to reinstall your OS and ask them for a backup CD if you don't have one.  You are entitled to a backup of the software as you purchased this software when you bought the machine.  This burns me when the computer distributors don't give the buyer a backup CD of the software on the computer when a large chunk of the money you spent on the computer was to purchase the software.  Anyway, you have a right to the software, so you might call the distributor.

I just checked the front page of SM again for Shango posts.  I believe Tom has got all the old front page posts fixed again now.  Anyway, I cannot find any Shango posts after June 2005 and I cannot find the post that BB is referencing.  That said, I know we had a problem with a formatting issue on the front page posts that Tom worked on.  It's possible he didn't get all the old posts back where they belong.

First of all, Shango did not make references to ancient Roman mythology as in "Baccanalia."  His references were of the Caribbean and South American religions.  The reference to "Monkey Den" is laughable and a dead giveaway of a "doppleganger" who doesn't have the background of the original Shango.  The "anguished Cowgirl with Osteo scraps" is also a pathetic attempt that fails miserably as it is just too obvious a reference using a latin term "oseo."

In the second post, the phrase "Head CowGirl’s mind is poisoned by the Sumarian Messenger" is not Shango-esque.  Shango never called KJ the "Head CowGirl" --a reference to her own comment about going in like cowboys.  Additionally, this poster spelled Sumarian incorrectly.  Shango knows it is spelled Sumerian.  These are both imposter posts.

These later posts certainly read as imposters to me too. I would like to see BB's verses in their original order.  The ones posted I had as July and not June.   Also, we must remember that there were supposedly two Shangos as well as two Simians.  This could explain the difference.

I have a hard time believing that Charles Croes wrote the Shango posts.  The man is too poetic and full of himself to write in the third person with such direct and yet subtle phrasing.  Croes thinks he's a word master, but he can't help but inject himself into everything he writes.  The early Shango posts, written before June 28, sound more like desperately veiled messages.  Croes doesn't want to communicate anything but his own glory, so I don't think he wrote the early Shango posts.  There is a definite demarcation beginning at June 28.  I think Shango stopped writing after June 28 and the later posts are dopplegangers.

I've always thought the orginal Shango was an idealist who was heavily involved in government affairs in the Caribbean and Aruba, particularly.  The writing appears to be masculine.  It would be interesting to have it analyzed by a professional.

I do not want to claim or disclaim every writing that was supposedly written by Shango. Same posters seem unhappy with it don't worry done with shango.

Not at all...I am glad you brought it up. I think the poster was an avid reader of Shango or maybe even an associate of his.  Clearly, this person knew enough to try to imitate him.  Whether or not he is the real Shango does not matter as much as the fact that there were many that knew there was a massive cover up already taking place and wanted, in some manner, to get the word out there.

If Shango was the person we seem to think...Gabe Leo...one must also note that he was very active in the MEP party.  I recall photos of him in a Jeep with the MEP flag draped over it.  So when reading Shango, many have alluded to the fact that Shango was attempting to mislead us all.  You just have to decide for yourself.  Simian didn't make cryptic messages...just stated what was heard and things that were seen at the time.  It's all very confusing.  As I have mentioned before...if these people know anything that would help solve this case and they have hidden it in such a cryptic way, then they are just as guilty of a cover up. I don't cotton (that's a Southern term, Tib) to the idea that it was too dangerous to speak the truth in plain English.  If it was truly Gabe Leo, what has he to worry about?  He was in the states at the time of the writings anyway or shortly thereafter.

I find it very easy to interpret the message of the later postings attributed to Shango.  On the other hand, I find the earlier postings, before June 28, enigmatic and fascinating.  There is a deep vein of island folklore and mysticism running throughout the early Shango postings.  The later postings are imposters, in my opinion, who are attempting to imitate Shango but do not have the same background and do not use the Caribbean references in the same ways.  The later postings are much more direct and easy to interpret.  The early Shango posts are not so easy to decipher, but have the quality of riddles to them.

I tend to believe Shango is someone like Gabe Leo involved in the politics of the Caribbean.  There are so many terms used that are also references to the current political situation.  It also strikes me that the Shango posts were trying to use the disappearance of Natalee to call attention to the political strife and troubles in Aruba.   I've read them and researched them and am always lead to political and mystical documents about the politics of the Caribbean.

I've read about the Marvel comics.  Marvel comics take their ideas from popular culture, from history, and from other sources, too.  Coincidence?  Not really.

The terms used in the Marvel comics are also used in popular culture and some have been used in the fight for freedom in the Caribbean islands.  As I researched Shango, I found references to Babylon in radical political treatises advocating an overthrow of European rule returning the islands to their original occupants, the Arawaks.  The Babylonians are typically the police or the ruling authorities on the islands, according to the papers I read.  Shango seems to be speaking in a riddle understood by those who understand the culture of the Caribbean, not an easy thing for an outsider to interpret.  

Island Thresholds at http://pem.org/island/flash.html is a fascinating study in Caribbean art and culture and gives some insight into the identity of the people.

I am not convinced "Chinbeard" was Shango -- but he might have figured out the Marvel Comics references and played along. Looking back, I truly believe that EVERYTHING we were fed from June 10th on was a TOTAL misdirection from Aruba. I think Julia Renfro was THE main point person on this effort. Protecting Tourism was the root to the whole matter. The cover-up was massive.

I read lots of those refs. for I knew nothing about any of the comics. I thought Shango was older, very well read and educated. So I, like you, went to all the refs. I could find. It was a good journey... I learned a a lot of the history of that area, its music, culture et al.

I am just in shell=shock that if I had read Marvel comics I wouldn't have to have done all the rest, I guess.

This is called "The Roots of Babylon" from the Dread Library.  There are multiple references to music in Shango's posts.  Because the music of the Caribbean is rooted in Reggae, it only makes sense to explore the vocabulary of this music for clues to Shango's meanings.

One of my kids (the oldest I think) had a whole set of these and had them autographed by some of the writers.  One of the youngest had a group of boys over who totally decimated his collection of perfectly kept and autographed copies and I never heard the end of it until his own son started collecting Harry Potter stuff.   :lol:

Yes, Babylon is known throughout the Caribbean as the term for the oppressors, the white legalities and culture that govern the islands.  Rastafarian beliefs and reggae music run throughout Shango's posts.  Reggae music was the father of hip-hop.  I think the verse-like quality of Shango's posts also brings me back to the Reggae sound, too.  Shango's posts were a chanting sort of communication like reggae and hip-hop.  In the music scene are the everpresent references to drugs.  Shango is showing his Dutch background when he references ecstacy and raves.  Raves began in Europe, in the Netherlands, in the early 1990's and ecstasy was the drug of choice for ravers as it gave them the stamina to dance all night and the feel-good vibes they liked.  Netherlands is the leading producer of ecstasy, also.  All this leads me to believe Shango is young, raised in the Caribbean on reggae and hip-hop and the rastafarian politics of political oppression.

Good Morning Monkeys.

There was a terrible 2-car "accident" on Aruba last night (05/15/2007); one fatality and one injury. Photos include a car engulfed in flames. It sounds as though there might be some sort of charge in connection with this, but no details yet.

Anna was right  -- the Marvel Comics  aspect always gets lost. Yes, the Rastafarian angle is there -- but the similarity to the Marvel Comics series is what drove the Shango posts. What was the date of the first shango post? Like I said last night -- EVERYTHING relayed to us after June 10th 2005 is highly suspect of being purposeful misdirection from Aruba.

wreck - We have a thread for Shango/Simian, but I don't know where it is. Maybe when klaas arrives she can help out. Also wanted to mention that Yoruba is a Shango influence too ... Google that as well.

G'morning all you beautiful monkeys!  It's another gorgeous day in GA today.  I went out on the back patio first thing with the dogs this AM and smelled the smoke from the Okeefeenokee Swamp Fires.  No kidding.  First day that happenned here on the North side of ATL.  Hmmmm.......

Please keep me in mind today as I have Day Surgery to have a weird tumor-like growth removed from my right forearm.  Should be a piece of cake, but I have Murphy's Law/luck on my side so I ask for all the prayers & good wishes I can get.  :lol:   :lol:

One of these days I will be back for a real discussion of the case instead of an update of my life.  I promise!!

Believe me, I was a Shango follower from very early on like many here. I just don't remember exactly when the posts actually began. In June, I thought a few people were involved in a cover up. 20/20 vision tells me we were completely deceived by the WHOLE island from  AT LEAST June 10th.
I now take EVERYTHING we think we know with a grain (no, TON) of salt.

I had a great idea for the 29th.  Call all your radio stations that play the rock classics and request "FREEBIRD" for Natalee. Should we try to get it played at the same time so that all across the USA "FREEBIRD" is being played & dedicated to Natalee all at the same time.  How powerful would that be?  As soon as we decide on a uniform time or not, I will call ours.  They play it around 4 times a day anyway.

Hey snoopy!  I have been trying to catch up - alot of Shango-ing going on last p.m. and I am not so good at figuring that stuff out.

The wedding was wonderful!  I didn't blubber, but tears did fall.  Gosh - I was at the hospital when he was born, changed his diapers, helped him take first steps, and He has grown into such a fine young man.  I am bout to cry just typing this.LOL.  His bride was gorgeous - you can see it in their eyes they just adore each other.  The reception was great too - Ole Kimmy cut the rug- we even danced to YMCA - a staple of wedding receptions ya know...  Thanks for remembering. :D

he Netherlands is assisting with the Holloway-case

ARUBA – The Netherlands will soon send constables to Aruba to investigate the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The Netherlands does this at her own expense. The Corps National Police Service in the Netherlands (KLPD) is going to help Aruba with the Holloway-case. They do this upon request of Justice-minister Rudy Croes (MEP). Croes has also asked Interpol to thoroughly examine the file.

Holloway disappeared more than a year ago during a school trip. The authorities have worked on that case since then, without finding any trace of the girl. Minister Croes has sent a letter to The Hague a week ago requesting assistance. He hopes that with police assistance from the Netherlands, the case will be solved faster,

“Aruba sympathizes with the parents and close family of the girl, despite the negative campaign against the island”, writes Croes in the letter.

The request went to minister Johan Remkes (VVD) of Home Affairs and the minister of Kingdom Relations, Atzo Nicolai (VVD). As a result of the request, the KLPD will get full leadership of the investigation. Police officers of the Dutch corps will come to Aruba especially for the investigation. The Netherlands will also pay for the accommodation expenses of these officers in Aruba and also the expenses for the commitment. They will also get a location of their own, out of which they can work on the case. The police officers are allowed to carry a gun and use it and they get power of criminal investigation. They will also get access to relevant information from the Holloway-file and all the information system.

Minister Croes promised in his letter that the Dutch officers will get full cooperation of the investigation authorities and the government. Croes has also formally requested the Interpol to investigate the file for irregularities. “Upon request of the attorney general, Interpol had meanwhile tried to get the not yet released data by the FBI (the American federal police, editor)”, mentioned the minister in the letter.

The Public Prosecutor confirmed being aware of the request, but emphasized that it didn’t come from attorney general Theresa Croes–Fernandez Pedra, but from the Justice-minister himself. He had asked Interpol for assistance in July, when he visited the headquarters of the international police organization in Lyon, France.

The OM is also aware of the cooperation between the corpses from the Netherlands and Aruba and mentioned that this was done on police level and that the OM had not made the request. “The criminal investigation in the Holloway-case is still open. If the Dutch police can help, they are more than welcome to do so”, said Mariaine Croes.

Tamikosmom:  They ALL are intertwined!!!!  It is indeed true that everybody knows everybody on that stinking island.

I will venture to say that I am not so sure that all who have had dealings with Paulus VanDerSloot are inamored with him.  Who's to say these people are not just as disgusted with him as we are?  

I've known people in my life that at one time, I thought they were great, but as time passed and the "real" person came out, I couldn't believe I held them in high esteem - and wondered what I was thinking.

That being said, I am hoping that his so called associates are fed up with him and his family.
