Lawmakers seek to stop jurors from selling stories

Public support is now pouring in after lawmakers are pushing for new legislation that would block jurors from selling their stories.

State Representative Scott Randolph and former Anthony family attorney Mark NeJame are seeking new legislation in response to the ongoing drama from the Casey Anthony trial.

HB-51 would prevent jurors from being able to sell their stories 270 days following their dismissal from a trial. If a juror violated the law he/she would be subject to a third degree felony which is punishable by fines of up to $10,000.

The public response to this bill since it was filed Thursday, (July 14) has been overwhelming.

Egads, I was late.

I do believe that slore is here in FL!  Why would she leave her new family?  To me it looked like a little girl in a white dress or tunic with long dark hair running to someone toward the plane hanger in the video.  Just my 2 cents on the possible plane escape!  It won't be long till she surfaces, she wants to be seen!  Can you imagine how many times a day she calls her new family?  Sure she was provided a Batphone so they would be in contact! I'll bet in a few weeks they wish they never heard of her.  I really don't think Bozo ever expected her to go free and might just become his worst nightmare!  I do hope so! Instead of him cashing in he has to field offers for her and only get a cut.  One good thing is that I don't really see any real agency/company/news org.  beating the door down to get to her except those 15 minute fame hunters. Can you imagine being stuck with a baby killer and it not ever paying off for them?  Oh my goodness what justice that would be.

Yes, I agree.  In my opinion if that were her running for that plane (and going into hiding) why would she wear her hair down knowing that a helicopter was flying overhead?

OMG!  NBC's Today Show just showed where Todd Mac's plane traveled and it appears the second stop was where I live!  I could see her here trying to blend in at the Redneck Riviera!  She might just have wanted to get some sun on her evil skin.  While this town has a well known beach still quite a bit of rich folkes own very expensive condos here and this area is considered to be out of the way and a little hidden.  Please let me find out she's here!!!!!!

A funny little addition...her setting foot in my area could very well explain the horrible lightning we've had!  We needed the 24 hours of rain but the electrical storms were huge!  Maybe God is surrounding her with dangerous storms everywhere she goes as a sign.  I would have chit my pants when the tree was struck at the Caylee Memorial and then the bad storm over the jail when she was to be released!  Maybe we should pay more attention to someone trying to show us the way!!!  Too effin funny!!!  Not!

Casey Anthony and Her Attorneys Spew More Outrage.

It was not enough that jurors on the case gave Casey Anthony THE GIFT of "not guilty".  She spent only a paltry ten days in jail and was released at 12:11 A.M. on July 17, 2011.

But now it seems, Ms. Anthony also refuses to admit she lied to law enforcement.

In a motion filed by her attorney, Jose Baez, on Friday, July 15th, Ms. Anthony wants to appeal the four counts of 'Lying to Law Enforcement' charges dropped.  But wait ... Baez already admitted, and the jury already convicted her of, lying to police in open court, so how is that going to work? Whatever the case, Florida tax payers will be picking up the bill for that exercise in futility also, which will no doubt clog up the courts for yet another two years.  So far the tab is $4.5 Million.

Also known as the 'inmate's bankruptcy filing' the appeal is an obvious move to protect Anthony from having to pay the half-million dollar invoice she will soon be receiving from law enforcement ... if they an find her, that is ... and another invoice from the State for a cool million.  (So much for that book deal.)  And now, the general public doesn't know whom to be  more upset with.  Anthony, the defense attorneys, or the jury?

Morning everyone...........I'm convinced that anything short of a video of Casey murdering Caylee wouldn't have been enough........there are things I thought should have come in as well, however, so many things don't get allowed in and sometimes too much info is overwhelming and juries might be unable to process it all, I'm not going to second guess the prosecution because I think they did a spectacular job and never could have predicted the ignorance of the jury which obviously needed to go back to kinder-garden and learn how to play dot to dot.............They also had no idea how lazy this jury would be and not want to look at any evidence, listen to any tapes, read any documents, ask any questions or comprehend exactly what their job was...........nope I can't blame Jeff and Linda for this, Caylee couldn't have had a better, more caring team than them, they, next to the public, were the biggest blessing Caylee could have had and Casey's worst nightmare. JMO

Wherever she's staying, she will be bored to death within a few days and want to get out and party, hanging out with a couple of old peeps ain't gonna last long.

The newspaper reports that software designer John Bradley said data about extensive computer searches on the word “chloroform” is misleading. I agree an agreement would need to be establshed before suing.  To renege, one needs to have an agreement first.

Casey Anthony's lawyers have said that Anthony has suffered "trauma" and will need counseling now that she is a free woman, but experts aren't sure Anthony can be helped.

"It would be exceptionally difficult for anybody to treat her. There is no magic pill that's a truth serum for a person who's a pathological liar," said Dr. Judy Kuriansky a psychologist from Columbia University, but better known from her radio show as Dr. Judy.

Kuriansky believes that Anthony likely feels that she has been rewarded for her lying with her acquittal and release from jail.

Well, that's just great, if she had been convicted that would've been the first grounds for an appeal!

Doesn't matter how many time Chloroform was searched.  Doesn't change the fact (in my mind) that Casey murdered Caylee.  Just means that she only needed to search and print out the directions on how to make Chloroform once.  Once you print out directions you wouldn't need to search again.

It is pretty bad for him to bring it now to cover himself. This is what the defense expert said on the stand about it too. Actually to me it makes the guy made a mistake and could have rechecked it over the time before trial. It is beside the point anyway because that wasn't the only evidence presented in the case and yes, Casey probably printed it off or wrote directions down. They were simple enough.

I wish the media would just quit the "Where is Casey?" headlines because it is just building up the offers for interviews or pics of her. If they stop the coverage it would make a difference. She should never profit off of her lies or what she did to Caylee. It is sickening.

Good morning everyone!  Thanks for the up beat comments concerning me calling Mr. Gottlieb and them threatening me.  I didn't do anything after they said that and nothing to warrant the threat so feeling better this am.  Going to swimming lessons with my granddaughter and then to a pottery place to paint in the air conditioning since our heat index is supposed to be 110 degrees.  BTW  my son in law should be home from Afghanistan next Thursday or Friday!!!  We are so excited!!!  Thanks again for the kind words.

I interviewed with ABC’s Nightline today, where when I was asked to give PR advice to Casey Anthony, I said on camera: “The only advice I will offer that child killer is she should jump off a bridge.”
As I explained on camera, we have represented many individuals for crisis PR and have helped many to make recoveries.  There is a limit, and Anthony is someone we would refuse to represent, and someone who deserves professional advice from no one at all.

She’s moving in with Cheney Mason. I was driving around in my neighborhood yesterday and there was one of her limos just driving around in the neighborhood. Me being curious about the case, I followed the limo for a bit. It did some weird things like driving into various dead-ends in my neighborhood (Alaqua Lakes) and than exited the neighborhood. When we both got to the first red red light, the driver looked me dead in the face and he was wearing what looked to me lke a cop uniform or maybe her security. He for sure though had a walky-talky or some kind of square device that he was communicating with and seemed worried that I was following him. After the light I was driving 40 in a 45 and he stayed at 20 to shake me and pulled a U turn to go back in the neighborhood. The limo had neon lights and seemed lavish. In my neighborhood there is alot of talk about Casey and a few of my friends have seen her. From my view, I think there trying not to move her in a regular limo because hat would make everyone really believe the limo had casey, so there going to try and disguise her (I don’t know to what extent) and drive her around in that neon-ed limo so when people look inside they’ll see someone who they don’t think is casey and lose interest. Obviously that part is highly speculative but I know what I saw last night and I know for a fact that she was in Alaqua Lakes last night. I’ve lost interested in whether casey actually did the crime or not, but I’m posting this because everyone (including myself) has hated cheney mason from day 1 because he is hermit jerk who banned having dogs at our local park..

I saw some footage of them yesterday on HLN and they had been to Home Depot, then got back in their vehicle, which was a new, red Jeep, so where did 2 unemployed people get a new jeep from?

I applaud that post, Seahorse!! I respect the jury's decision in the exact measure they respected their responsibilities to Caylee and that amounted to NOTHING!

It was a radio station that wanted to do something positive.  They collected donations from listeners for their "Caylee Fund" with all money going to St. Louis Crisis Nursery.  I have found no connection to the Rosebuds, other than them using the words "Caylee Fund" for when people donated money to them.

Casey will want no reminders of the past. That break from Hopespring happened about three years ago. She has a new life now, albeit as weird as her old one.

Sorry, I got excited..  WFTV is at the Orlando Exec Airport and they think they spotted Casey coming out of Todd Macaluso's plane. The person they believe to be Casey had on the dark jeans, pink shirt and the man escorting her into the hanger real quick had a white jacket over her head trying to cover her up.  They think that it was Todd rushing her into the hanger, and then got into a silver SUV drove around downtown Orlando for a few mins then went back to the airport.  They were showing it live now they broke away from it.

That plane has been flying all over since her release, And this is the first time besides Sunday this plane has flown into Orlando in the last 4 months.

Hope they continue surveillance on defense team's properties.  Even if she is being "kept" by some volunteer, she will surface. Short leash...follow the money. Casey has to be close so that Baez can work out deals for them. If he already has her signature on a contract, he can sign deals for her, but still needs to be in close, daily contact.

Judge P is done.  He will just step in when these various civil suits come up if he has to at all.  Otherwise, he has finished.  He had no mistrial, spent a ton of money keeping idiot jurors sequestered for Bozo, and let a baby killer walk free.  Done, done, and done.  He won't do any sanctions.

A plane linked to Casey Anthony landed at Orlando Executive Airport today, but her attorney denied his client is back in Orlando.

Video footage from WFTV shot over Orlando Executive Airport today shows a woman matching Casey Anthony's build running into the airport while two men covered her head. But WESH is reporting that airport officials said Anthony never landed in Orlando.

Preliminary reports show the woman ran from a Pilatus PC-12 single-engine turboprop passenger craft owned by Todd Macaluso, a former member of Casey Anthony's defense team.

A local TV station reported that it was Anthony who got off the plane, covered with a white blanket or jacket and wearing clothing similar to the pink V-neck T-shirt and jeans Anthony was wearing on Sunday. Following the report, Baez contacted Local 6.

"That is not her. That I can confirm. I will not say anything further as to her whereabouts, but I can 100 percent tell you that that is not her," Baez said.

Macaluso's office said he is not available to comment on the incident.

Sources at the airport also confirmed that the woman seen rushing off the plane was not Anthony.

Looking at the history of both planes, N950KA flies in and out of Executive KORL often where as the one from Sunday N956KA does not. 

From all I have read about it so far, it means the LE and prosecutors knew of the error and just carried forward.

It's really disgusting that people are using Caylee's name and image to make money.  And if you scroll down a bit on the above link, you'll see another auction with someone using her name to try to get $1,500 for an oil painting that has NOTHING to do with her:

ZooMomology, I agree with you.  IMO the entire charade was cooked up by the Anthonys with George and Cindy willing participants.  In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Cindy orchestrated it.  George's breakdown on the stand, the hesitation when he was asked if he molested Casey, Cindy's breakdown when she listened to the tape (She must have heard that again and again over the period of three years), Lee's whimpering about not being invited to a baby shower.   I think it was a farce and a hoax and it worked.  It certainly worked with that jury of morons.  I'm willing to be convinced that I'm wrong, but so far, this scenario is the most logical to me.  IMO Baez isn't intelligent enough to have come up with this.  IMO had to be Cindy.

As for the ANTS and their " foundation " same thing. There are enuf grandparents' rights groups out there who do not have the toxicity of the ANTS. Like exactly what expertise do they bring to the table ? The how not to ? They just want to sit in their house and fleece persons who really need information and perhaps legal help. George, like it or not is an accused child molestor. Cindy is a liar and an enabler. Who seems to have raised a bigger liar than herself.

It's TMac's plane, though, and Baez admitted that was him on the tarmac with her.  One of the vehicles that left the Executive Airport after the mystery passenger was taken off the plane was registered to Slaubagh (the beleaguered "thwart-torney" from Baez's firm). 

IMO the tall dude with grayish hair who was running with them could be the same guy who was driving the getaway vehicle Saturday night when Casey was sprung.

Kathi Belich had got a tip that KC was at the pool at Mason's house. They flew their right away no KC when they got back to the airport the plane was there. Looks like someone was trying to take the attention away from the airport. KC and pudgey seemed close close during the trial maybe they are together lol  ::piggy::

It doesn't make sense why this plane would fly out Sunday morning with "KC" and fly back in Tuesday with "KC".  Let's face it, she/they had no money Sunday and it costs big money to fly a plane from one ocean to another ocean. IF this was KC then she was flown out to CA. to sign a deal and collect money and then flown back to Orlando with the paycheck for Bozo.  Bozo will not let her loose until the cash cow has dried up.  My hope is the cash cow never materializes and they dump "tot mom" on the doorstep of Big Tot Mom and Big Tot Pop.

One thing none of them had counted on was they were going to have to cut KC into their money-making cow. Bozo and company, Cindy, George, Lee all thought KC would be in prison for the majority of her lifetime and they were going to be rolling in the dough.  Not a one of them ever thought they would have to deal with KC getting out and getting the bulk of the money.

I for one think they have run into some problems "pimping" her out to the media/bookmakers and the money is not pouring in like they expected.
