Good afternoon, Monkeys!  Forgive me if this has been discussed already; maybe it hasn't as I've been reading the threads and although I have seen a great deal of mention about The Caylee Marie Anthony foundations and the trustees, I don't remember seeing any mention of suspicion that the foundations are really for Casey's benefit.  I only remember seeing talk of how much money George and Cindy would take for themselves. 

The players involved in this never-ending circus have been quick to show that the slore refuses to see her parents and that they do not want her to live at Hopespring Drive...and...that they haven't seen her yet.  What if none of that is true?  What if she has been in contact with her parents privately?  Come to think of it, most people would be reluctant to donate to Caylee's fund if the Anthony's had welcomed Casey back into their lives.  So by pretending to distance themselves from their daughter, I'm thinking thay they are attracting more donations from sympathetic people and then writing checks to Casey on the sly. 

Reasonable assumption, Monkeys or is this out of left field?  Also, has this been discussed and I somehow missed it?   ::MonkeyEek::

Both chambers of Ohio's General Assembly have introduced so-called Caylee's laws, which would require parents to promptly report a missing child, usually within 24 hours. Both require the death of a child to be reported within an hour of discovery.

The book cover I saw last night, on JVM, I believe, had the photo of Casey sitting at the defense table, shooting the bird.  (Some here have posted this photo many times. I deleted all my Casey pics and I couldn't find it on PB either.) The title ran across the top.  WTH?  Can people just make up covers to spread the news, before the event??   I should know better than to believe anything JVM has to say.

Ohio introduces Caylee's law....isn't Ohio where the staged photos of Casey surfaced from? Is the irony rich?   Where she was traipsing around without a care in the world?  Too bad there wasn't a poster up promoting Caylee's law at the Old Navy Store where she was pose shopping in.

Those are publicly acquired and shown pictures in court, so she would have no rights to any money, but don't think for a minute that would ever stop those thug lawyers of hers from trying.

You know what is so sweet about Jeff's book?  He'll have it out less than 4 months after the end of the trial which is so on par with his get-it-done work ethic we saw during the trial.  We all know that Bozo and Mumbles never finished anything on time much less that quickly.  Jeff probably had his book deal signed the day after the trial ended and the KC dream team are still trying to figure out how to 'sell' their girl to the public.  Sweet!

I love that this article has Caylee pictures in it......I wish all articles had Caylees picture instead of almost always the murderer's picture is displayed.
I'm tired of of seeing slore's ugly face and the scamthonys everywhere.   Even articles about Ashton's book have a picture of slore instead of a picture of
either Jeff Ashton or Caylee.   Don't they get it yet.....slore doesn't sell, Caylee does.

I absolutely believe that something like this is possible.  The Anthony's seem to lie and cheat at every turn ever since they discovered that their daughter "lost" their grandchild.  They knew what was possible and they hooked up with several folks from kidfinders that have spent a lifetime trying to scam the system and good folks for money. I don't know how money can be tracked in foundations but this is an opportunity for the Anthony's to make money and pretend to help "lost" children.  !!!sickening!!!

IMO, the skank & her parents are definitely communicating. The whole I hate my parents bullchit is all a facade. If the Scamthony's told the public KC is welcome to come home, I would believe the opposite. They lie about EVERYTHING!
They don't want the public to even get an inkling that Skanky is in their house, for fear someone will firebomb it. JMO

A hearing is scheduled Thursday surrounding the alleged defamation of Zenaida Gonzalez, who claims Casey ruined her life when she said a woman with the same name kidnapped her daughter, Caylee, in 2008.

It's a case management hearing in the lawsuit filed by Gonzalez, who said she has had difficulty getting a job and even finding a place to live after Casey Anthony said her daughter was taken by a made-up babysitter also named Zenaida Gonzalez.

Zenaida Gonzalez claims Anthony ruined her name and reputation when she told investigators that a nanny of the same name kidnapped her 2-year-old daughter.

In 2008, Anthony told Orange County detectives about the nanny. They said at trial months ago that the nanny never existed, but Gonzalez said the damage was done years ago.

"If she has learned anything, you would hope she would sit and go, 'I lied. I made it up. I'm sorry,'" Gonzalez's attorney, John Morgan, said.

According to the lawsuit, Gonzlaez claims Anthony's false statements to detectives ruined her life, saying that she has had a hard time finding a job and a place to live because she was branded as a kidnapper.

Munyon said Anthony can be deposed on Oct. 8, although she said the deposition must be done remotely and not face to face. Anthony's attorneys can file a motion to have the videotaped deposition sealed.

Anthony's attorney, Charles Greene, has indicated that, because of the pending appeal of Anthony's convictions of lying to law enforcement, she will likely use the Fifth Amendment for all questions.

Zenaida Gonzalez's attorney, John Dill, said that he does not believe all of their questions can be avoided by pleading the Fifth.

Gonzalez's lawyers wanted to broadcast Anthony's scheduled deposition, which remains set for Oct. 8.

Judge Lisa Munyon denied the request, saying Anthony could be deposed from an undisclosed location by video link, and it is not to be broadcast.

Anthony's attorney, Charles Green, indicated he will file a motion for the video and transcript of the deposition to be sealed and not released to the public.

Munyon said she would deal with that motion when the time comes.

In the hearing, the judge said attorneys for Gonzalez will have two hours to question Casey on October 8. However, Casey's attorney doesn't want it on any webpages or on TV. Previously in this case, Morgan and Morgan, the attorneys for Gonzalez, has provided a copy of depositions taken. Casey's attorneys said it's too dangerous given the threats on her life.

Attorneys said Casey will likely not answer any questions -- she will plead the 5th.

"I don't want it to turn into a sideshow where people are playing for the cameras for it to be broadcast on Channel 13 and other places instead of searching for the truth," said Casey's attorney Charles Greene.

Casey's lawyers said the only question she'll answer is what her name is and though the trial has been set for April, they hinted that there could be a delay because of her criminal appeal of convictions for lying to investigators.

"There will be a battle and I'll just say there's a lot going to happen before this case goes to trial if it ever goes to trial," said Casey's lawyer Charles Green.

Casey's lawyer said she named Zenaida Fernandez Gonzales as her made up nanny, but the woman who is suing her for defamation is Zenaida Gonzalez, who is not the same woman. Her lawyers said they will try to get the whole case thrown out based on that.

Gonzalez's lawyers said their client is the one who was hunted down by law enforcement because of the tie to the Sawgrass apartments where Casey said the nanny was last seen with Caylee. Gonzalez had filled out a guest card there around that same time.

Her lawyers are not giving up on having a face-to-face deposition with Casey under oath.

"If she's only gonna take the Fifth Amendment and she doesn't have a basis for that, I'll ask her all these questions. She'll take the fifth and the judge will rule that it doesn't apply. We'll be back and I'll be sitting across from her taking the real deposition," said Gonzalez's lawyer, John Dill.

WFTV reporter Kathi Belich asked Casey's civil lawyers whether they're worried that she will violate her probation and affect the civil case. Green told Belich he talks to Casey all the time and that she is not going to make that mistake, but he wouldn't say why he's so sure of that.

A judge on Thursday ordered that Casey Anthony's deposition in the civil case against her will be videotaped and then sealed from public view.

The video deposition will be sealed, as well as any pending motions, according to minutes of this Thhursday's hearing at the Orange County Courthouse.

Attorneys for Anthony and Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez will meet Oct. 7 to discuss evidence-sharing issues.

Circuit Judge Lisa Munyon set the time limit on the videotaped 8 a.m. Oct. 8 deposition to two hours.

Munyon also will set the pre-trial date for the case in April or May . The trial is estimated to take 10 days.

I am sick to death of the justice system in the State of Florida treating Casey Anthony as the second coming when all she is is a scum bag baby killer.  IMO justice for Zenaida Gonzales is just as important, perhaps more so, than justice for this murdering skank.

Of course Zenaida Gonzales is not the same woman.  There is no same woman. It is the name that was slandered and libeled.  Why can't Judge Runyon understand that and understand that Ms. Gonzalez is just as deserving of justice, under the Constitution, as that no-good pile of sh*t?   I also think that her attorneys should be required to produce these threats to her life.  I think they are just as real as her nanny was.

Why are the Anthonys, George, Cindy, Lee and that lying piece of trash covered with Teflon.  Why are they more deserving of justice than a decent, hard-working Latina woman, whose life was turned upside down by that bunch of bottom feeders?

I'm getting pretty tired of this.

There is something very wrong with the justice system in Florida, that good is bad and bad is good.  Needs to be cleaned up, starting with Chief Justice Perry who lied to the FBI about his affair with a blond cookie, and suffered no consequences.  Casey Anthony lied to LE and was convicted, but given a slap on the wrist, and is using it to deny justice to Zenaida Gonzales.

Prosecutors want Casey to pay for their work from the day Caylee was reported missing to Sept. 19, 2008, when her remains were identified.

And the financial trouble doesn’t end there. Zenaida Gonzalez, who shares the same name as the fictional baby sitter, is suing her because Casey said a nanny with the same name kidnapped Caylee.

“Her name is part of this whole spectacle brought on only by one person, Casey Anthony,” said Gonzalez’s lawyer, John Dill.

Texas EquuSearch is also suing Casey. The IRS wants taxes paid on money the Anthony family made on family videos and pictures.

Casey, who is was not in court Friday, is serving probation in an undisclosed county in Florida. Her attorney is appealing the lying conviction and may ask the judge to hold off deciding about the payment.

Casey's lead attorney, Jose Baez, was not present at Friday's hearing.

Meanwhile, Casey will be deposed next month in the defamation lawsuit filed by Gonzalez, but she will be in a secret location for that hearing.

On Thursday, Circuit Judge Lisa Munyon limited the deposition to two hours, after Casey’s lawyers said she would plead the Fifth Amendment on every question except what her name is.

“There will be a battle and I’ll just say there's a lot going to happen before this case goes to trial if it ever goes to trial,” said Charles Green, Casey’s lawyer.

At this point, the defamation trial is tentatively set to begin in April, and could take two weeks.

Casey Anthony is unemployed, has not consumed alcohol or drugs and has not made any money over the past month, according to the Florida Department of Corrections where Anthony reported for probation at 6 p.m. on Thursday night.

“She was cooperative and answered all the questions of her probation officer,” according to a media advisory.

Anthony, the 25-year-old acquitted of murdering her daughter Caylee, also reported that she had not attended any classes, used or purchased illegal drugs or had any contact with law enforcement over the past 30 days. Anthony’s attorney did not wish to comment on Anthony’s probation visit.

Despite Anthony’s declaration that she does not have a job and has not made any money, there is speculation that Anthony will be able to cash in on her notoriety with a book or television appearances. So far, however, she has remained in hiding since her release from jail.

It also comes as Judge Belvin Perry presided over a hearing today on whether Anthony should have to reimburse local and state authorities for money spent on Caylee’s search, according to ABC News’ affiliate WFTV in Orlando. Anthony admitted to and was convicted on four counts of lying to authorities. One of her admitted lies was that Caylee had been snatched by a babysitter, triggering a massive investigation and search.

Anthony could be facing bills that add up to more than $500,000. Agencies including the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the State Attorney’s office have all been called to testify regarding how much money they spent in the search for Caylee, according to WFTV.

Prosecutors want Anthony to pay up for every day from July 15, 2008 when Caylee was reported missing to Sept. 19, 2008 when her remains were identified.

Today’s hearing is one of several lawsuits Anthony can anticipate.

(Reuters) - A lawyer for Casey Anthony, the young mother acquitted of killing her toddler, accused prosecutors on Friday of being "sour grapes" for seeking to require her to pay back $517,000 spent investigating the child's disappearance.

"I think it is time (prosecutors) accept the fact that they lost this case," defense attorney Cheney Mason argued at a court hearing, adding that in his view the reimbursement request had "nothing to do with justice."

"It has to do with outrage. It has to do with sour grapes," he said.

But prosecutors said the state never would have incurred the expense of a three-year investigation and seven-week nationally televised trial in Orlando this summer if Anthony had only told the truth.

A month ago, my cousin lost her seventeen year old son to murder...she is not functioning.   She would hurt someone who offered to compensate her for an interview, for her quest for justice.   Are the A's really human beings?   You negotiate for a car?

"There is sincere danger that a well-meaning juror will be more impressed with an 'expert' on television than one presented by the parties at trial," the petition said.

Talking to reporters, Mason said Anthony is penniless, and he blasted the state.

For Casey's parole officer to say she answered all the questions doesn't mean anything.  Casey always answers all questions. She just doesn't answer them truthfully, though.  I just don't understand how this little twit has hoodwinked so many people.
She must have gotten paid for those ridiculous pictures of her in Ohio. Wonder what happened to that money?  She and her advisors have just found a way to hide it, IMO. 

After reading about the FBI not going after Casey to recover money spent on their part of looking for Caylee and a possibility of the FBI looking into Cindy's lying etc. I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of things to come.

Could it be the reason the FBI isnt suing Casey is that they are planning on retrying her in Federal Courts?

I have a feeling we are starting to see Karma at work in Orange County Florida .

i have a feeling JP will issue her to pay some money back how much I have no clue, and reason I say this is due to him being re-elected, and he already knows people dont think to kindly of him for letting Bozo and Team get away with so much crap in court.

When you work for a company and they provide a company car for your business AND family use, this is considered a perk and as such, INCOME. You are then taxed on your use of that car.

If it is shown to be true that the A's were indeed employed by the tv show and were PAID with a new car, the taxes will have to be paid by SOMEONE.

2011 Jeeps start at about 22,000 for a Jeep Compass and go up to $46,000+ for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Purchasing insurance on an expensive car can also be quite expensive.

I can only hope the IRS is closely monitoring the Anthony's various incomes, gifts, donations, etc. They are quickly adding up quite a nest egg. Who can believe rearing a monster would have such a big pay off? ::MonkeyNoNo::

When I was a juvenile probation officer I tried to reduce the risk of recidivism by requiring my cases to stay away from bad influences. Essentially, if they were seen/caught socializing with drinkers or drugees, bam! If bozo is a bad influence, providing KC access to alcohol and others who do the same, or if Bozo consumes alcohol in her presence, and his "friends,"  are they not contributing to the possible down fall of his client? In other words, can it be assumed BOZO IS AN UNFIT PERSON TO CARE FOR/SUPERVISE KC?

KC and Bozo are both losers and they feed each other. Got to get her away from him. Hate to see her break her parole probation. cough, cough.

Howdy Yoder, question for you...if Jeep gave the Dr. P show an auto in lieu of an advert fee and then they regifted the auto to the Anthony's would that still be taxable?  I'm just sure all the slime involved made sure no money passed to the scumbag Ant's.  Was probably the ol' "get out of paying taxes by calling it a gift" ripoff.  Maybe Dr. P show gifted it to the fraudation.  You know, Dr. P has had several segments in the past about Casey and Caylee (i watch daily) and pretty much has always given the impression he believed Casey murdered he own daughter!  How will he be able to sit there and listen to these twits?  I've always liked him and he's sorta been a tell it like it is person so why would he kizz their azzez now knowing that 99% of America thinks their dtr is guilty?  When this is all over he might have wished he never went there to begin with, the backlash could be real bad for him!

The Jeep was probably put in the name of the scam foundation and as such they wouldn't have to pay tax on it.  And since they are the officers, they can ride around in their shiney new Jeep.  The "Foundation" would also pay for the insurance on it. The $500,000 they received for the "Foundation," was an obvious scheme to avoid income tax and they will take it out as income over a period of time.  They will have to pay tax on it as they get it as income, but in the meantime, it can be invested and earn money for them. If the Jeep were given to them and the title is in their name, they would have to pay tax on the fair market value. 

The whole thing was just a way for them to get an income making foundation set up so they can draw 80% of it's assets as income which they did with the last foundation.  Except this time they can't take it all at once or they will be paying tax on the $500,000.  Taken over time in smaller amounts lowers their tax bracket.

I work nights and have a TV on while I work and many nights, Dr PHil comes on while I am flicking through the channels to put something on to make it not so quiet in here and I change channels so fast.  I will not put Dr Phil on my TV ever again or TMZ or watch anything that has to do with the slore, her family, or her lying sluggy dumbfense team, her jurors, or even her judge.  The only thing I would watch is her dying on TV or being hauled back to jail by the Federal Govt. 

Sure he will.  The Ol' Boys Club reigns supreme in FL.  I believe it's an understanding  between Mason and Perry --you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.  I don't know anything about Mason's morals, but we do know that Perry is not averse to a little hanky-panky under the sheets. I also note that those threats to deal with Baez after the trial were simply that--threats.  I thought Ito was bad--and he was.  But Perry is just as bad with his rulings---maybe worse, because he cautioned about Baez's behaviour, threatened, did nothing. In fact, he coached Baez all the way through the trial.  Taught him law on the run, as it were.  It was like, "You do that again boy, and I'm gonna gitcha."  Just a passing comment.  "Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

I'm disgusted with Perry and I hope he is not relected next year.  I hope he has a worthy opponent.  But then, again, the Ol' Boys Club probably won't let anyone run against him.  Pity.

Just got home from Disney.  The whole way from the airport to our resort & everyday that we took the monorail & passed "wet" lands I swear my heart broke.  Seeing that type of area on tv & seeing it in person is two totally different things.  We weren't close to where that precious angel was dumped and I still had a heavy heart.  My GOD how can anyone carry a body let alone your child's body into a wet damp soggy desolate dreary looking type place.  On a side note the photo lady rode the monorail with us and we struck up a conversation.  The slore came up (she said the only day of work she has ever missed was playing hooky & attending the trial)  She said Disney knew about the "juror" coming & was worried about an employee strike/sit down (whatever that is) & kept the whole thing hush hush until she & her family was gone.

I am right there with you Babybear..how does a self confessed liar keep getting away with the lying?  Simple answer..today's society pays for the perverse to be printed and published...and that money and fame seem to add up to alot of shrugging shoulders by the court.
I really hope the State of Florida finds Casey guilty in this case for the State to recoup the expenses of searching for a dead child..Caylee Marie Anthony..instead of saying " Oh well"..which they said at the trial  for her death...this is beyond bizarre and it needs to stop. 

The more bizarre it gets the more the press buys into it and more money is made..A desath of anyone should not give people ..press, family, associates the right to profit.  Nothing is scared anymore in this country or anywhere..the press hones in on births, marriges and deaths..all normally fairly private affairs..yet today for the right price..all are very public and well paid for to the highest bidder.

Federal income tax laws do not vary, but state by state they do. There are, however, so many loopholes it is amazing. There are things like pre-tax and there are ways a company can pay the tax for you, sorta of.

We are talking about an expert legal community who has spent thousands of hours doing nothing constructive, just searching for every way possible to make money without paying taxes and learning new ways to hide money. I do know the IRS watches previous problem children like Bozo. He's either rolling in the dough or "appears" to be as mumbles puts it "penniless."

They usually are caught and in Bozo's case, over and over again. He's the kind mama always said to stay away from. KC and Bozo "clicked" the first time they met. They are of the same mind set. They are really bad for each other. Bozo's "crowd" is older than KC's was, but that is all, just older. Her crowd seemed to have ambition, hard work, etc., while the crowd in which she finds herself now are sleazy beyond belief and there is no way she could ever overcome their evil influence. I imagine they all carry guns and have hair trigger tempers...think the world owes them big time.

I would just like to add my experience on parole, probation violation.  I worked with  juveniles but as a result of spending much time at court interacted with adult officers.  Of course our topic of conversation was often the frustration with the system.    I also tried to have a relative get services while on probation.


In my area it is well known that clients are not to be violated unless it is a last resort.    Test positive for crack?   Just tell the client to stop it and to attend treatement.   However, client lost driver's license and does not live on the bus line, OR has to work the hours of treatment.   Do you violate for not working or no treatment?   

I have literally screamed at an officer asking why she would take the word of a crack addict who had just tested positive that it was a one time use....but in all fairness, she did not beleive him, she just had to follow directives.

Resources are limited and just like everything else, many are there only due to court orders.   Jails are overcrowded, etc.


I can tell you from first hand experience, a client walks in to meet with the probation officer, tells them he works,  maybe show a signed AA slip or two, and go on their way.   Often these meetings are literally in the hall.   

AA slips can be signed even though the person spent the majority of the meeting outside smoking.

In short,   there are orders not to violate...the prisons are full,   and only the most violent offenders need to be there.   We are told we cannot foreseee the future and to just let things run their course.

Yes, you are right.  The nature of our society has changed so much in the past few years, that nothing is private, if one can make a buck or two on it, such as George and Cindy Anthony and their entourage are doing.  Personally, I hope it is that quack (Without a license to practice) Phil McGraw's show's downfall and he will soon be unemployed. I am not 100% sure, but I believe Oprah Windfrey's Harpo Productions owns and syndicates his show. Odd that she rejected the Anthonys a couple of years ago, but is allowing McGraw to glorify them as "Grieving grandparents," on his show.  Of course, OWN channel is in trouble and going down the drain, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Since there is no state income tax in Florida, the only tax consequences for the Anthonys would be federal and I am sure they have some shrewd tax attorneys to figure it out for them.  I think I'll set up a charitable foundation for my dog, Charlie.  I'll have my income channeled to Charlie's foundation and then, as president of course, since Charlie doesn't sign checks, (not that Iknow of, anyway,) I can take a salary.  These tax-free organizations need to be reined in and scams like the Anthonys are pulling, with McGraw's complicity, need to be stopped.  What in the world could they do to insure grandparents' rights? Such rights would have to legislated by various bodies, and I don't think the Anthonys' influence would necessarily be welcomed or even considereed.  They are pariahs in decent society. I wonder how long it took them to come up with this new cause.  Maybe they could take their tax-free bass boat and pull a trailer in the water at flotillas, etc. When Casey murdered Caylee, the Anthonys hit the jackpot.  I wonder if they wish she had done it sooner, so they could have benefited earlier. 

But that's one of the bad things about the internet.  Anyone can say they are anyone they wish to be, i.e. grieving grandparents, or anything else for that matter, and there are gullible people who will buy it. Maybe I've lived long enough to be too skeptical, but I believe very little that I hear, and almost nothing I read on the internet.  The Anthonys and their evil bad seed are not celebrities and I wish they would stop being treated as such.  There are people who have accomplished much for humanity without killing a single person, and they are the ones I admire -- not baby-killers and parents of baby-killers.  And not charletans who seek to establish unearned reputations on TV or the internet.

Babybear, I hope you don't mind me saying this....there was a time when I thought you were just so cynical and jaded....sorry.  I never, ever imagined this case would turn out the way it has.  It is so painful that it is hard to get over.  Then I look at all the other cases lately.  I would never imagine that the West Memphis three could turn out like it has.  I know others have said it better than I (ISpy had a great post), but to me these cases have become the symbol of our decaying society.  Our system only worked as long as there was natural order.  Good and evil clearly defined and people who had enough conscience to know the difference.  I am losing hope that our society is recoverable.....

The Anthonies made false statements about Caylee being kidnapped.
Under Title 18 USC these are chargeable crimes and carry a sentence up to life in prison, especially when it involves a death.

I personally believe all the Anthonies conspired, aided and abetted, and made themselves culpable in the coverup of the death of Caylee Anthony.

I agree with you 100% - when my step monster was on probation for CSC and he got charged and plead guilty to attempt CSC and assault with intent (while in "treatment"), he was told, oh well, you can go off probation now - you are obviously doing well (I kid you not!) and on the other two new charges he got NOTHING. So he is out on the street with no supervision and just biding time until he can do something else.

As for the AA meetings, when I chair mine I tell people, if you are not there and paying attention for 90% of the meeting, don't expect me to sign your form. Had many people pizzed at me but I do not care. If you take the "easy" way out and have to attend meetings at least pretend you are really paying attention.

I still don't understand HOW all of them got away with this.

The hearing Friday over how much Casey Anthony might owe taxpayers was like a verbal boxing match as both sides battled over dollars and Casey's lies.

The defense used words like "sour grapes" and even fraud, accusing the state of overcharging Casey, even though she was acquitted.

Prosecutors said none of this would have happened but for Casey's lies.

I feel exactly the same, I will NEVER watch dr phil again and the only time I was to see Casey is in cuffs or a casket.

Is't Dr. Phil on the OWN network?   Last night I was flipping channels and saw Oprah on her Master Class series.

She was discussing one of her "aha" moments in which she realized she was not providing information when she did confrontational shows, she was only giving people air time to air their evil beliefs ( skin heads, etc ).   She said she then took her program in another directions.   Well, it seems to me, Dr. Phil is only exploiting the death of Caylee and Oprah would have no part of it.   Oh well, maybe I just expect too much from people.

I used to love OPrah when she was one of us.  Now, she is so hoity poity rich and better than us mere slugs, that I cannot watch her any more.  She tends to show only what she believes in, and takes sides by the witnesses she has on her show.  An example was when she had Obama on before the election.  Hey I don't care if she really liked him and wanted him to be president, but what about all the people who liked the other side.

I was hesitant to continue to post  only because I worry who would judge me in a "wrong" way.  I had seen some posts on scared monkeys dot com and couldn't believe what some people think of me.  There was one girl who went as far to talk to my Lawyer John Kelly.  Not that it really mattered but seriously, I'm trying to take what's going on as serious as I can and some girl/woman thinks I'm doing this for attention? or even money because I was on the show "ghost hunters".  Wow was all I could think. To clear this up for anyone out there, Yes I was on Ghost Hunters.  No, I never contacted the show myself nor did our family receive any money.  At the said time, I had a problem and tried to resolve what was going on, online.  Next thing I know, Sci fi is calling my house wanting to do a show in exchange for some answers.  And Answers is what I received.  Grant Wilson had a sit down talk with me and told me I was gifted.  He fully believed in all I was going through but reassured me he didn't think what was going on was evil.  Both investigators, Jay and Grant.... and some of the crew, experienced things as well while we were out of the house.  To this day, things still occur but its nothing I can't handle.  But again,       so what... I was on the show.  It doesn't mean that everything that happens to me in my future is because I want something monetary in return.  I am not that kind of person, end of story. Far as my Lawyer John Kelly.  Its hard.  Before John Kelly even had a chance to know what the results were, he informs me and says " I have to say Mike is not the father".  So I said, " well, I am going to say Mike is the father".  I never asked Mr. Kelly why he even thought that but there were too many things in our client/ attorney relationship that didn't make sense to me.  For example,  Right before our relationship had ended, Mr. Kelly says " well, if you ever find out the truth that mike is the father, let me know and I'll do a wrongful death suit".  I just said " ok"... but said it in a confused kinda way.  What does he mean by " if I ever do find out the truth"?  Didn't I just pay 4,500.00 to find out the truth?  That is why I had to take another look into all I was told by my son and what I see in all the photos of Caylee.   In other words, I can't give up now knowing all that was done by Mr. Kelly and the lab was down right wrong.   I am now going through someone else who is going to see if the DNA I have on Mike is right.  This can be done by doing a profile on myself.  Once that is done, the two can be tested to see if its a Match.  I was told personally that there is no way that Caylee's and Casey's DNA is online or even legal.   And here's why.  In order to get DNA from someone else, it has to go through the court.  If there is " great reason " as to why that DNA is needed, A judge will release the samples.  If there isn't, it won't be allowed. If it were that easy to obtain DNA...... then no one would go through the court.  I was told by the Orlando Sheriffs department that in order to get the DNA I needed to hire an Attorney and go through the court OR contact FBI.   ( THAT IS THE 'ONLY' WAY TO OBTAIN AN ACCURATE SAMPLE OF ANYONE'S DNA PROFILE)... So, with all of that said, the DNA that Mr. Kelly obtained was online with Casey's and by a prosecutor with Caylee's.   I have no way of knowing where the DNA came from by the prosecutor and I know now that DNA online are only "examples" and not accurate samples.  I should have known this by common sense and to know that hippa laws protect peoples' rights, and one of those rights are your own DNA samples. Once I explained everything that was done by Mr. Kelly, I was told by a professional, it was not done right.  Sadly, I am now out 4,500.00 but I am deeply grateful that the place who is handling what I need done is doing this " complimentary" by the director of the establishment who was more than happy to assist me.   After my son's DNA is looked into, if by any chance the profile I do have on Mike is NOT his, they are willing to do all and everything necessary to get it.  and that includes extracting DNA off of the crash shirt I have that has blood all over it, a sweater my son sweated in at a wedding and a pair of pants as well.... and all of the work is being done for free!  Goes to show there are some really good people in the world we live in.    Mr. Kelly's lab that was located in Texas, was not willing to talk to me the very first time I had called them.  Sorry to say, they treated me very rude and instead of just telling me they needed consent by my Lawyer, the woman tries telling me she has no way of knowing who I am that is calling.  That's about the lamest excuse I have ever heard.  What? they don't have caller ID? or she couldn't think to ask of my birth date , address or social security number?  I knew at that time what was going on just based on the way my call was handled.  The first two times I was told she wasn't in,    as a guy answered the phone.   The same guy too.  Finally, the woman I needed answered and again, was very rude.  Finally Mr. Kelly calls days later and says " oh, you can talk to the lab now if you want"... yeah ok, like I want to now.    Now that you probably told them what to say.    All's I am saying is I'm not that nieve!!  Ive got my suspicions on what happened here but I think I will leave it with what I just said.  At the very least, the new place who is working with me said... something's not right there!  Lastly, when a person pays over 4,000.00 and 1,000.00 went to expedite the results, a person gets to know within a couple of days.... NOT 8 days later!!  ( thanks again Kelly) All of that was nothing but a waste of time!!!  I sometimes wonder what people take me for.  Just because I wasn't crying over the phone when I was put on speaker phone with several other lawyers doesn't mean my claim is not valid!!!   I have no idea how to feel right now because the Anthony's can't come to the plate to reveal my son's name!!  I have done everything in my power to skip the bull and get right to the Answer and yet nothing has worked.  I've even written to Casey Anthony herself through one of her lawyers with no answers back.   The worst part of this entire thing is to know..... if this wasn't a high profile case I would have had my answer the very first time I contacted the Anthony's Attorney.  I have been through every emotion there is to go through and now I'm just becoming numb.  Just so people know -  I am not and will not ever give up on acknowledging the truth because I already know in my heart that Caylee was my grand baby.  I can clearly see Caylee's daddy in some of the photos I have of my son.  A grandma or even a mother, knows her very own. Also, I am not and will not take any money from anyone for any reason.  I am not in this for the money!  That is just a disgrace and I refuse to ever be looked upon as one of them.  The only thing I was ever looking for was the truth.  Why was that so hard just to tell me?  The Anthony's act like I have no clue what my son said or what my son did in regards to Caylee Anthony.   When Casey wrote her jail house letter to " Cookie" and talked about a dream she had ( that was really her own life) Casey went on to talk about the Daddy to Caylee.  and at the end of her letter she says " and only a few know the real truth"... and Casey underlined truth!  I was one of those people who knew the real truth!  and with that said, me and Mike wanted that truth taken to the grave!  and it was stated just like that!!  but when this revolves around TWO people that are now DEAD and Why they are dead, that verbal contract is " null and void" where I am concerned!!! AND THE ANTHONY'S KNOW THAT!!!!  and there is "more" to be said about it all but right now, and sadly, paternity has to be established before anything further can be done.    Why couldn't the Anthony's just say " the name we had was Michael Duggan but it would be better to do a DNA test".   Ok, that would be fair but to sit here trying to get it all done by yourself.... they have NO clue all I have been through and all I am suffering right now.  To make matters worse, they contact my X-In laws and want to know how I am as a person.  Based on taking something to that grave, they should have been the last people to contact ( that is merely a personal slam to me).  But... I now see where their own minds are at.   Although I haven't seen a Duggan one since the wake and funeral of my son, word travels fast amongst them all. If I were to have taken a back seat the moment I remembered all my son told me and to keep it quiet, It would have been nothing but sheer torture listening to all the shows the Anthony's are on, all that Casey is doing or will be doing in her future... and or what ever else would come into the lime light by that entire family.   How is that fair to me?   What did I do to that family that deserved it?  I know in my heart I've done nothing wrong so that leaves the entire family worried about a wrongful death suit.  That leave's Baez and Casey's clan who have her stashed in some million dollar mansion worried that their cash cow won't be making any future dollar bills.  I wonder just how many clients they take in after winning a death row case!  probably none!!  At any rate, NO.... this is why I can't stop until I know I've done everything to prove it either way.  Far as I'm concerned, my son died believing Caylee was his baby. What I am seeking -  Is justice for Caylee like everyone else.  Caylee never had Justice!    the only legal voice left for her, I am going to do all and everything in my power to see to it I accomplish just that!! I want to thank those who have kept close to what is going on because I know your hearts are in it for all the right reasons.   AS soon as there is information to be put out there, I will fill you guys in.  Sorry this is a long update but its been sometime since I've talked to everyone on board.  I also want to thank those who have been sending me links to what's important to know in regards to this case.  As soon as I have the answers I am looking for, I am going to do what I was told to do right from the beginning.   I just need to make sure that what I have in my hands is what I paid for.   Two of the three I know are not accurate so if my Son's is wrong, someone is going to be in huge legal trouble that is for sure.  Until then, have a great week. Casey Anthony’s legal team has accused her ex-fiancé Jesse Grund of “cashing in” for shopping a book detailing his relationship with the mother of tragic Caylee Anthony.

“I witnessed the devastating effects of severe dysfunction,” Grund writes in the proposal, being shopped by D.J. Snell at Legacy Management and a copy of which has been obtained by Page Six.

“I know what events in her life have molded her into the vilified Casey Anthony,” he adds.

Legislators delay decision about "Caylee's Law" bill

The Wyoming Legislature's Joint Judiciary Interim Committee decided last week to table its decision after it heard the initial briefing on the bill proposal.

Trying to cash in?  More trips to New York?  Has this man, Jose Baez, no shame?  Baez is jealous because Jesse Grund is beating him, and Casey, to the punch.  Well, I'm glad.  Jesse Grund has suffered much at the hands of the Anthonys and their various and sundry attorneys.  So has his father.  I don't think it would be especially pleasant to be accused of murdering a baby, as Cindy Anthony accused Jesse Grund, knowing full well that her slut daughter was guilty of killing precious little Caylee.  Jesse seems to me to be a good and decent man who was willing to be a father to Caylee, even after he learned he was not Caylee's father.  The Anthonys, all of them, IMO have never done a decent thing in their life.  And my opinion of Jose Baez and all of his minions, (Although it is unclear who is a  minion and who is a leader) are beneath contempt.
I hope Jesses makes a lot of money on his book.  I for one will buy it as soon as it is available.  Go, Jesse.

I agree Babybear but I've seen Jesse many times defend Casey by blaming her behavior on Cindy. he always brings up the incident at the house where Cindy jumps on Casey in front of him and he has to defend casey. I believe Cindy treated casey the way she did because she knew Casey was a a psycho & had been dealing with her for years. jesse comes in in the middle & thinks he knows everything by witnessing this incident! i couldn't disagree with him more on this. You could be right, Monken.  But since Jesse was with Casey for a matter of months, not just that one incident, he probably knows much more than that one occasion when he defended Casey to Cindy.  As I undertand what he has said, and certainly I could be wrong, he didn't know the real Casey until after Caylee was murdered and then he learned much about her.  Knowing and believing what he had seen, and then learning much more, he came to understand Casey for what she really was.  At least that's what I understood, and the book will explain what conclusions he came to and what caused those conclusions.   I will buy and read his book, if only to help sales and annoy the heck out of Baez and his minions and Casey. I think that as each person writes a book on the subject, i.e. Jeff Ashton and I wish Anne Rule and/or Mark Fuhrman would do so too, the value of any book Casey or Baez, or Cindy and George, will write will be decreased until any attempts they may make will be ignored and without interest, and most importantly, they will not receive a big advance.
I have heard advice to Casey on television to remain out of the limelight for a year or so, but this did not come from one of Casey's advisors.  Whether or not she has been personally advised to do that and whether or not she agreed to it if so advised, I don't know.  But I suspect she and a ghostwriter are hard at work on some kind of proposal for an epic tome in hopes of keeping her fame alive, not to mention the money they would hope to receive.  I welcome anything which dashes those hopes and dreams. 

I'll read it too, Babybear to help anyone but the Anthonys. But I'd be willing to bet he's going to blame it all on her parents & how she was raised, i still don't think he gets that she was evil, even when he was with her!!. She did not get that way overnight!!

I don't think this Robyn Wilkie person has anything to write which I wish to read. Likely, each of us knows more than she does.  But I don't just throw a net to condemn anyone who writes a book about a murder, infamous crime, or any other event.  Knowledge comes from books.  Without them, we would know nothing of the past. Dont get me wrong, I agree that there are many different perspectives to see in others opinions & I dont begrudge anyone wanting to express their views via written word, but, imo, this woman is more into the gore & sensationalism of this trial than a strong conviction that justice was not served here. That is her right to tell about it, but I guess im so emotionally attached to this forgotten child that it ruffles my feathers to see someone else forget what this story is about & see dollar signs. I like to read others opinions on this case, but id see more of an unbiased opinion if there wasnt always money involved. Write an editorial or something of that nature where its not about how much money can be made.

I have no doubt that Jessie's dad knows exactly what kind of person KC is.  But, Jessie seems to have fallen hard for KC (and Caylee) and not have gotten over it.  The fact is, he should know by now that KC probably lied to him about many things during their time together.  But he's blinded by his first love.  It is kind of understandable.  I mean, who wants to believe that they almost married a monster?  Someone should set him down and show him all the things that KC has said about him in the past 3 years.  She'd have pinned this on him if she could've.

I don't know, Kittymom.  I think I'll wait to read the book before judging it.  I have a feeling his father has helped  remove the blinders and he now has a clearer picture about how close to the abyss he came. For a start, he hates Cindy, and in that we have a lot in common.  He had many interactions with all of the Anthonys, and his experiences will be of interest to me.  Jesse is not school in psychology, so that's not what I would expect him to delve into. Just his experiences and his viewpoints and what, if any, lessons he has learned for his own life; I will find that interesting.  Perhaps others will not.   

I wish I would stop making those darned typos.  It was supposed to be schooled, not school.

I guess I'm thinking that Jesse is still defending KC by coming down so hard on Cindy and George.  That's what I got from the Fox report.  As horrible as the parents are, KC was ultimately responsible for her own actions.  I've never doubted that her hand applied the tape to little Caylee.  I'm not excusing her crime by the actions of her parents (as despicable as those two are).

Seeme, I don't trust them either.  The clincher for me was when George and Cindy showed up at the memorial and were greeted so warmly by some of those people.  Hugs, etc.  It looked phoney to me and it still looks phoney.  I may be completely wrong.  But they are not getting one cent from me until I find out if this is another Anthony scam.

Sunny, I used your above link to pull up Baez' brother's house in Okeechobee on Google satellite maps or at least the address given.  This house is not the mansion of Casey's dreams.  If she is there, she hasn't moved up much from her parents' home.  I was sort of surprised after having seen Jose's house.

I know what you mean!  I had an awful childhood and I turned out alright!  My mom died when I was 4 and my dad remarried the wicked step mother and my life was hell until they split up when I was in 8th grade.  She ended up committing suicide when I was in the first year of my marriage. 
So if you want you can overcome things in your life if you choose to do so.

Oh I do agree..but here's the rub..Casey's lawyers are going to say in this case about the money owed Florida for the work done to look for a child that was living or kidnapped vs known to be dead by her mother...that Cindy and George knew that too.

And they do all deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law...but her attorneys will come up with a load of hogwash about her mental state..crazy greiving, her relationship with her parents..crazy parenting..and that will be that.  I inagine at some point we will hear again about her inability to even finish high school as being the family's fault and not hers.  So far Casey hasn't been found guilty of anything other then cashing checks she forged...although this woman has quite the history.

I don't see much happening to her now or in the future other then slaps on the wrists to be a good girl and follow her probation for the next year..after that..and her caretakers have taken their leave..there will be other messes..but hey..this is America..where people busted smoking a joint get more time then mother's who kill their baby. 

I don't even give a jury in Florida much credaence after the last fiasco called her murder trial.

I have to say I haven't had the time to watch Oprah in a few years...however..I will give her credit that she did not have the A's on her show.  They were scheduled to be on during their innocence tour about a year and a half ago.  The A's talked it up and Oprah's producers verified they were scheduled.  Then a week before they were canceled..according to the A's ..who released the info first..they would not be doing the Oprah show..and they gave a lame excuse of scheduling conflicts or something else as that made no sense.  However that backfired..they should have kept their traps shut..Oprah's producers came forward and said ..ah...No..we canceled them because they wanted to only talk about very specific things..and only from their point of view..in other words they had a list of questions  and areas they wouldn't discuss..and Oprah said ..thanks but no thanks..I don't do those types of interviews.

ITA..this was a very horrible event..that resulted in national coverage only because of the fact the A's and Casey and her attorneys courted that coverage as a means to the end result of her celebratory atatus..and all of them making a buck.

But really...what is so special about this case is the fact that it has brought every kook out of the workwork hoping to make money off the death of a little girl.  No matter how you slice it that is what it is..the death of a child..a normal little two year old...and it is at once implausible and disgusting...not that we care..but that people would resort to fame and money after such a death.  Society has become incredible to me..for every book written about this..good or bad..the whole tradgedy continues..when can Caylee rest in peace?

Well, I guess all that traveling is necessary considering their home is a constant reminder of their failure to protect Caylee from the monster they raised.  I can only imagine that being in that house, with no job, no family, no friends,  with just the quiet accusation of stillness that echos with Caylee's laughter and little footsteps would be a hell no person could endure.  Let them visit resorts and ice cream shops.  One day that money will dry up and all they will be left with is the house on Hopespring Dr and Caylee's last resting place around the corner.  The two of them will have only each other to stare at as they remember the little angel they didn't love enough to save or to seek justice for.  The term 'hell on earth' comes to mind.

It doesn’t seem like that long ago that he could walk in total anonymity. No one knew his name or occupation. He looked like just another guy, a face in the crowd. And, if nothing ever changed, he might never even get his fifteen minutes of fame. And that was fine.

But things changed for Jose Baez in minutes when he took on Casey Anthony as a client in the summer of 2008. Anthony was accused in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee. And, if found guilty, the prosecution demanded the death penalty.

Anthony is not a client Baez would have normally defended. “My practice is predominately Hispanic,” he told the Hispanic National Bar Association conference in Dallas. “I just happened to become famous by representing a white client.”

Baez admits Anthony is not a sympathetic character. But that should not, he said, affect anyone’s right to a fair trial. “If you cannot stand to represent an unpopular client, then what can you stand for?”

The Anthony case played out in snippets for more than three years before the trial began last spring. In all, 400 pieces of evidence were introduced and more than 90 witnesses were called. Contempt charges were leveled and dismissed during the trial. All the while, national and international media covered it all.

Hello fellow Monkeys!

It's been many months since I've posted here, way before the trial. However, you were my eyes and ears throughout the trial. While I was working, I was coming here to get my updates as often as possible. We were on vacation when the verdict came in, however we had the Sirius on CNN in the truck. We were setting up our camper while the verdict was being read. A park ranger was there at the time, also listening, and we were absolutely flabbergasted with all the verdicts. As time passed, I have just become so disgusted and ashamed of our system here in central Florida.

More so,(I have quite the potty mouth), yet I cannot come up with the words that I feel describe the entire A (Hole) family, the entire defense team that defended the repulsive one, and some of the talking head media types that are so sympathetic with anything named A..........   

Now to the reason that brought me to this post. I live in east Orlando and work in Lake county. I travel the 408 (also known as the East-West Expressway). Yesterday morning for the first time I noticed an electronic billboard  suddenly displaying the names......G&C Anthony in big letters. It caught my attention and I was more than appalled.
The ad was for the dr pill show (mispell and lower case intentional) with the a(hole family). I will try to get a pic of this billboard, tho it is hard in the morning as I am in traffic. I am EXTREMELY PIZZED to say the very least to have to see their names on a F'N Billboard alongside a major thoroughfare in Orlando.

If there are any Orlando Monkeys that can get this pic and post it would be helpful. It is on the 408 west just past the Pine Hills toll plaza on the left. It is an electronic one so it changes every few minutes. I don't know who paid for this advertisement, but I feel they should all be boycotted. I posted this info in hopes that someone with the time can follow thru as I am working all day.

Just what Orlando commuters want to read.....the Scamthony's think they are celebrities, and will continue thinking it until scum like Dr. Phil STOP doing sh!t like this. They are felons just like their sk@nk daughter, IMO. Umm, Spindy? remember how prosecutors proved to the world you perjured yourself??? Well we didn't forget, and I'm pretty d@mn sure Orange County hasn't forgotten.....I hope you are banished by the taxpayers of Florida. Looks like your punishment has begun, seeing you twins of terror have been ONLY vacationing since they set killer KC free.....afraid to go home much?????    I sure hope so!

Please permit me to make the following comments regarding the recently concluded case  in the state of Florida vs. Casey Marie Anthony: "Judgment has gone to brutish beasts; and men have lost their reason." (William Shakespeare)

The jury's verdict of not guilty on the three most serious charges against the defendant, Casey Marie Anthony, clearly demonstrated to me, and to countless others, that they did not fully comprehend what their duty was and paid little regard to the jury instructions as outlined to them in the charging document by Judge Perry. Had they fully perused those instructions and sought the further direction of the court on matters which they did not understand, I am of the view that their verdict would have been "guilty on all counts!"

The state couldn't prove how or where Caylee Anthony died. It couldn't come up with any abusive behavior, much less a good motive why Casey Anthony might have killed her daughter.

Another defendant probably would have been charged with criminal neglect or manslaughter. But because it was Casey, prosecutors sought the death penalty.

I went to the Dr. Phil site today previewing the Anthonys show and gave my opinion as well as saying I will boycott Dr. Phil forever (even though I don't watch him anyway because he's such a blow hard).  And I can tell you it was on about the 6th page and 99.9% of the responses were totally negative.  But I doubt is will even effect him because he is such a ratings whore. 

I don't watch Dr. Phil, but if I did, I wouldn't be anymore!  I hope there is a big outpouring of folks that boycott him (any appearances) and his show.  And then we can ask him "how's that working for you?"   ::piggy::

Cindy to claim on Dr. Phil that Casey has seizures and probably blacked out while Caylee accidentally drown.  If that were true Baez would have used that as a defense.  It's much better than their "daddy molested her" defense.   IMO it's all a bunch of malarkey.

I read this, to me its total bullcrap, I guess while Casey was having the seizure she used chloroform, duct tapped and threw Caylee in 2 garbage bags and a laundry bag and dumped her in the swamps. If a child dies from an accident why make it look like a murder?

The source says that, during the interview, Cindy said the seizures are evidence that Casey had a mental health condition. Cindy lists at least three separate seizures, including at least one which required calling 911.

Cindy implies that the condition may have incapacitated Casey while Caylee was drowning in the family swimming pool.
