Bizarre!

A very good video, lots of information.......made me see things clearer and I just wish we had some answers.

This lovely man was certain that Baby Lisa was his granddaughter even though family tried to assure him there was no connection.  It's too bad the killer can't ultimately be charged with this man's murder.

Lisa Irwin's parents and witnesses have told police that the missing infant was snatched during a five-hour period last month, KCTV5 has learned.

The source detailed to KCTV5 the events that Debbie Bradley and Jeremy Irwin have reported to police after their then 10-month-old daughter went missing.

The source requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the case. The details shed fresh light on the events leading up to Lisa's disappearance, which were both typical and unusual for the family.

Irwin discovered his daughter missing about 3:45 a.m. Oct. 4 and called 911 before 4 a.m. An Amber Alert was issued about three hours later, but police initially had questions for Bradley, who has said she expects to be arrested in connection with her daughter's disappearance.

The girl remains missing. Police have investigated more than 1,000 tips.

So Samantha and James Brando drinking buddy/neighbors texted each other at 10:30 and 10:50 and LE knows that.  James was interviewed and polygraphed by LE, house searched a couple times.  They(Brando's) had spoken to a marriage counselor earlier that day 1-2pm and he left home at 5:30 for temporary separation; he crashed at friends house.  Deborah and Samantha drinking out front until 10:30.  Than allegedly separated and went to bed.

We have JI, Phil Netz, Jersey, and James Brando...I think the general body type of the witness sightings is the same, sorta, kinda and fits all from behind.  I noticed the neighbor who saw man with baby from across street; guy was going uphill which would make him appear taller imo. Two LE's "We've Moved on" and still no suspects.

So somebody helped mom?  Not sure yet...still on fence.

Was that the real burned dumpster in that video?  Wow...that thing was pretty burnt up looking.  I thought initially there was a witness that saw a man standing by the dumpster, anyone else remember that?  And that an accelerant was used IIRC?

Brando says she last saw the baby at 4:30 p.m. Brando says she stayed outside talking to another neighbor until 11:30 p.m. and noticed nothing amiss so that the abductor could not have taken baby Lisa before then. Brando told police that the lights were out in baby Lisa's house when she went inside and to bed around 11:30 p.m.

The Starbucks job kept Irwin longer than he expected, but he did not use his work cell to call home. Bradley has said she was not alarmed by the delay.

Police have been able to verify that Irwin was at the Starbucks until about 3:30 a.m. and nothing unusual occurred.


Irwin returned to his home about 3:45 a.m. Oct. 4 and immediately noticed that the front door was unlocked and the lights were on. He discovered the window to the computer room was open and attempted to close it but was unable to do so.

He does not remember if the door to Lisa's room was open or not. He found his son in his bunk bed and Bradley and her son together in her bed along with a stray kitten she had just taken in.

Irwin was initially angry to discovery the kitten and the lights were on. He knew the family was in such dire financial straight that their cell phones could make outgoing calls because of nonpayment. He was concerned about the electric bill and finding a cat at the foot of his bed.

If the following article reflects the truth ... the implication is that Philip Netz was in the home when neighbor Amanda was present and/or ... when neighbor Amanda left at 10:30 PM.  Philip affirms his sister's claim that she was inebriated.

Inquiring minds want to know why was Philip's presence in the home never mention by Debra in interviews?

Who is Jim Spellman?  Why is he privy to info from inside the investigation.

He backed up Lisa's mom's story that she was passed out drunk the night her daughter disappeared

An uncle of missing Kansas City baby Lisa Irwin voluntarily met with police for about two hours today. He's the brother of the baby's mother, Debbie Bradley.

He was with Bradley October third, the night her baby disappeared and said the mom had drank enough that night to pass out drunk, as she maintains. The family believe a kidnapper snatched the baby from her crib while the dad was working, the uncle was sleeping and the mom was passed out.

GRACE: I do know that he`s undergone hours of police interrogation. We`re talking about mommy`s brother.

SPELLMAN: That began spreading yesterday after a little bit of a reporting I think after his interview with the police some sort of leaked out reports that he confirmed to police -- this is in local media -- that she was really drunk.

People have taken that to mean he came back -- her brother came back at some point to acquire that information. When I ran this by the police they said it was the first time they`d heard of it, my asking him about it and they didn`t know anything about him returning. So that`s all I can report on that, Nancy.

IMO the brother did not spend the night there.  Maybe he did come back later prior to 10:30 and did see her drunk or maybe he is just covering for her?  IDK. 

I wonder what other neighbor Samantha Brando was out talking to after Lisa went in at 10:30, unitl 11:30 - could it have been the brother??  Why have they not come forward or have they but they have not disclosed this part of the story yet?  You would think with all these neighbors close by the Irwin home they would of noticed if his car was there or not unless he parked in the back? 

he also said the baby had a T shirt on. the neighbor said JUST a diaper.

And why would anyone with a car walk anywhere after taking a baby?  I mean if the baby was already gone...yeah it makes sense for someone savvy, less forensic evidence.  Which may be why there was a dumpster fire that night to destroy evidence.

But a last sighting of Lisa at 6:30 leaves more than a few hours for decomp to set in and it clearly would of been a stronger hit by numerous dogs(not just ONE) and LE would be all over that.  I personally am not sure LE's got much in the way of forensic evidence on this one JMO.  

I really wish DB & JI would let them take DNA from the boys if nothing else to eleminate the unknown DNA they found.

I have a theory that ties all the weird happenings that night into A Random Jersey type but not anyone else at this point.

the fact that Deborah changed her story re the last time she saw her own baby is a big red flag! you dont put a sick baby to bed and not check on her again.just LEave her in her room and drink for hours?
Plus she says she MAY have blacked out she was drunk how can she remember certain things like her son getting up scared sleeping with her?
why was he scared? what about her brother what time did he get home? where was he? why is he covering for Debbie? did he burn the phones?
one thought ..Maybe Jeremy started to question if Lisa was his so caused more stress on DB ? so many questions..

my greatist fear is Debbie hurt Lisa drunk and on those anxiety pills!

Do we have any more information on the 'supposed' family vehicle break in (attempt break in) from a a couple a weeks before Lisa went missing.

Something about that whole thing stinks - especially Lisa's parents saving cigarette butts from around the vehicle for what - a week or two weeks - then calling the police back to the house in case they want the 'butts' they saved to check fingerprints?

This all came back to me after hearing about Jeremy's trouble with car theft.

High weirdness about those ciggy-butts being saved.  They open up a whole set of theories - not too hard to believe theories either. 

- Like the original 'break in' to the family vehicle was staged in order to 'set up' the local vagrant handyman for Lisa's disappearance?

- To establish an ETA to the Irwin house after calling 911.

- Lisa's parents saving the ciggy-butts for 'proof' later.  'Proof' someone had been lurking about.

Just thinking out loud here. 

Yep, thinking out loud cause too much about this case is just too bloody weird and with NO new information coming through I'm grubbing for anything - anything that might help.

Report: Neighbor says passed polygraph in missing baby case

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

A man who lives next door to the home of baby Lisa Irwin says he has met repeatedly with detectives and passed a polygraph.

CNN interviewed Wednesday the husband of Samantha Brando, who is good friends with Debbie Bradley and spent much of the evening Oct. 3 drinking and smoking cigarettes with Bradley. CNN is not identifying the husband, who declined an on-camera interview.

Reporter Jim Spellman said a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department confirmed that the neighbor has been cleared of any involvement in the disappearance of baby Lisa. The spokesperson said the department "has moved on from him," according to CNN.

Well looking at the hands and the facial features of the person in the hoody, I'd say it's a girl.  The guy has way too much and too long hair and is too stocky to be Jeremy.  ::MonkeyDevil::

Could someone give me a hand  --- Early this morn I was switching between HLN (Morning Express) & ABC (GMC) and a reporter came on and said he had interviewed the man who was picked out of the picture line-up that Mike Thompson had Identified.

He said he was completely cleared of anything to do with the reported sighting of him walking with a baby in the middle of the night!  Reporter didn't identify this person, just stated he had nothing to do with this case. 

If anyone could assist in finding this video would be much appreciated, thanks.

Did the elusive Samantha Brando submit to a polygraph?

It was the elusive Samantha Brando who spent the evening with Debbie.  Why has  Samantha not taken advantage of her 15 minutes of fame by sharing her story with the major networks.

Nothing has been quoted coming from Samantha's own lips but ... it has been reported that she saw Lisa at 4:30 PM.  It was also reported that she and daughter had a chicken dinner cooked by Debbie prior to baby Lisa allegedly being put to bed at 6:40 PM.  Why would Samantha not have seen baby Lisa during dinnertime.  Samatha would be able to attest to Debbie's inebriated condition at 10:30 PM.

I have been thinking about the dumpster fire. I feel sure it is connected - but how?  Supposedly LE showed DB burned baby clothes?  Could that be true?  I really don't believe what DB says.  But then again, LE has been really tight lipped.

I had a thought.  What if whatever was burned in that dumpster was bedding, blankets or other items that could possibly cause cadavor dogs to "hit" on it.  I really believe the dumpster fire was to burn some kind of evidence.

This is so confusing!!!  Based on the timeline below...when did they have time to eat a chicken dinner together!?!?!

Sorry if it's been brought up and discussed before, but the boys are each one from either parent?  One belongs to DB and the other to JI?   If I were the mother of Jeremy's boy, I'd be going to court and yanking his butt outta there for so many obvious reasons.  I would freak if my child was living with an alcoholic mother, endangering my child, expecially with all the scrutiny and mystery surrounding what that child is going through!!   Where is she and has anybody heard anything, if she's still alive?  Even the maternal grandparents.  In fact, why hasn't that poor boys maternal family not spoken up?  Have I missed something?

CBS News has released a time line in the disappearance of baby Lisa Irwin. This time line is supposed to show the public what investigators believed happened to Lisa and hopes that anyone who may have seen or heard something during the time gaps will come forward. This is a bold step for investigators, who originally wanted to focus on the family. Perhaps their focus is still on the family, despite this new time line.

I just read this article and it said that NOBODY checked on Lisa between the hours of 6:40 PM and 3:45 AM.....Maybe there wasn't any reason to check on her because she wasn't there? Even if the baby was NOT sick, a mother would check on their baby every hour or so especially since she went to bed so early. I would think she would have checked on her even between drinks! I'm thinking she wasn't there to check on.

HURT: Yes. They turned onto our property and it`s the lead to the gym that they went through our neighbor`s back yard, because our gate is locked to our fence and the neighbor`s is open.

GRACE: Now, on the night baby Lisa disappears, did you see anything?

HURT: I didn`t. The only thing out of the ordinary was that our neighbor`s sprinklers were still on in the late hours at around 9:30. And at 11:00 they were turned off. So some time during their -- there hasn`t been Jersey or someone come back and turned them off which was out of the ordinary.

GRACE: Now police -- yes. Police came to your location. They interviewed you. Did they take footprints?

HURT: They searched our house. They searched the backyard and they took footprint molds out of our neighbor`s backyard right by that gate where there`s kind of a semi grassy dirty dirt filled area where they could get footprints off of.

GRACE: Is that near the playground, the children`s area?

HURT: The children`s area as far as -- it`s not -- it`s not close to any kind of play equipment. My kids` play equipment is close to it.

GRACE: OK.

HURT: Yes.

GRACE: I see. I see what you`re talking about.

HURT: Separate this.

GRACE: So they took footprints there. Now police interviewed you. What did they ask you?

Thankyou Cartfly, I've spent the afternoon looking for the interview, thought maybe I was dreaming it up.  This is basically the same that I heard reported but more detailed in the man's denial and being cleared by LE.

WTH???  Why not??  This is not right.   I guess it's left up to the public and the last search by the public only turned out 17 searchers.

Report: Neighbor says he passed polygraph in missing baby case

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - A man who lives next door to the home of baby Lisa Irwin says he has met repeatedly with detectives and passed a polygraph.

CNN interviewed Wednesday the husband of Samantha Brando, who is good friends with Debbie Bradley and spent much of the evening Oct. 3 drinking and smoking cigarettes with Bradley. CNN is not identifying the husband, who declined an on-camera interview.

Reporter Jim Spellman said a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department confirmed that the neighbor has been cleared of any involvement in the disappearance of baby Lisa. The spokesperson said the department "has moved on from him," according to CNN.

Representatives for the Kansas City Police Department did not immediately respond to requests from KCTV for comment on Thursday.

If Samantha can confirm that that she saw Lisa after Jeremy allegedly left for his workplace ... I believe a medication/alcohol overdose is a possibility.

Could it be that following Samantha's departure ... Debra discovered a deceased baby Lisa and in a panic contacted Jeremy?  Could this and other communication that night account for the missing cell phones?

Could it be that the 12:15 AM and 04:00 AM witness sightings have been Jeremy attracting attention by staging an abduction fabrication?

Is there any backup that confirms that Jeremy was at his workplace during the 12:15 AM and ... was at home during the 4:00 AM sighting?

I agree.....didnt think I could get any sicker then when I attended "that other" vigil and had to watch those low lifes put on their acts.......but here we are again.......yuk!!

I think the reason for lack of information and disinformation is because they don't want to tip their hands to these lawyers.  The lawyers are doing everything they can to derail the police investigation so it makes perfect sense to keep as quiet as they can for as long as they can.  It does make it extremely frustrating for us though.

YW.  It's not popular but as I've said before the only one who fits "all" the madness for me is Tanko.  His previous B/E, arson record, served 5yrs in Jersey for Arson and witness tampering I mean literally in/out since 1989 IIRC.  Just rewatching that video and hearing about him and the little dog he was following all over makes me want to hurl.  Glad he's locked up for time being regardless.

One thing I will say is; KCPD has sure been working their butts off behind the scenes and keeping everything very guarded about other potential perps in this case besides the family.  It's defiantly not a one track investigation at this point.

Did JI take Lisa's body to work and pass her off to someone on his way home?
Could Samantha have any role? Could she have passed off Lisa on her trip to the Liquor store? Could the brother have taken her when he left?

It just makes no sense that any one would walk around with a baby in a diaper at night. Who would take that risk? A police could drive by at any moment..

I think its possible DB was trying to get drunk so as not to face what had allready happened. I think the front door was left unlocked by a drunken DB. The lights could have been turned on by the boys getting up in the night "a nightmare?" or going to the bathroom.

But I just can not fathom the man with the baby..

Dr. Scott Dattel with Kansas City Pediatrics said the child’s behaviors will change more than their facial features.

“They still have a lot of baby fat in their face and really their characteristics and their facial features don't change as much as between 1 and 4 as they do between 6 and 12 months,” said Dattel.

“Developmentally kids really take off between 6 months and 12 months of age, they start walking, her speech will start developing soon kids will often say a few words by a year of age,” said Dattel.

Brando and her husband met with a marriage counselor in the early afternoon on Oct. 3. The counselor suggested that the couple attempt a trial separation and the husband left the home about 5 p.m. Oct. 3, CNN reported. He then went to a friend's home.

A source familiar with the case earlier this week told KCTV5 that Brando and her 4-year-old daughter were inside baby Lisa's home about 4:30 p.m. Oct. 3. Bradley told People magazine that she cooked dinner for her family, Brando and her daughter, which they shared about 5:30 p.m.

Brando sat outside drinking and smoking cigarettes with Bradley from about 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Bradley then went to bed while Brando stayed outside talking to a neighbor, the source told KCTV5.

Brando's husband told CNN that he spent the night of Oct. 3 with a friend. He showed CNN texts between him and his wife on Oct. 3. At 10:33 p.m., the neighbor wrote to Brando that he loved her and their daughter and to kiss her goodnight. Brando responded at 10:54 p.m. that she and their daughter loved him too.

The man told CNN that he went to bed. He got up about 5 a.m. to go to his job at the Whiteman Air Force Base. The man said he received a call from Brando at 5:59 a.m. Oct. 4 to alert him that Lisa was missing.

The man said he worked his scheduled shift and rushed back to Kansas City afterward to see if he could help in anyway find the baby. The man to that end he cooperated with authorities when they focused on him, allowed his home to be searched repeatedly and ultimately took the polygraph test last week.

Lisa was last seen a month ago. Police have not identified a suspect in her disappearance.

Kansas City Police End Search for Baby Lisa

More like silent waters and murky parents.

No parent calling out for the kidnappers to return their baby. No plea to people who may have seen something to call police.

Obviously the parents don't want their baby found, because having the baby found may mean jail time.

Now that they have hot shot lawyers, the police sits like an attack dog whose leash is held too close to the post.

It looks like the culprit will get away with murder.

Still, we have seen in past cases that somehow criminals manage to make crucial mistakes that later come back to haunt them, or even without trying some evidence is discovered and finally the criminals get their just deserved.

Hopefully that happens in this case. Not today, tomorrow, or even a year from now. But, it will happen.

My greatest fear in this case is that it will go nowhere, just like so many others, Haleigh Cummings and Hailey Dunn, to name only two.  In all three of these cases a child was abducted leaving little or no forensic evidence behind and parents as the last person seeing the child.  Additionally in all these cases, time was lost when police initial response was based on those same parents insistence that their child was abducted.  When the police finally begin to see the inconsistencies in stories, valuable time is lost. 

Another common thread in these cases is that of eyewitness reports.  In both the Dunn and Cummings cases, these reports are eventually found to be unreliable.  I fear that the same may be true in Lisa's case as well.  This is not because of any nefarious actions of the eyewitnesses, but just based on the statistic that exist.  According the The Innocence Project, eyewitness misidentification is the single greatest cause of wrongful convictions nationwide, playing a role in more than 75% of convictions overturned through DNA testing.  http://www.innocenceproject.org/understand/Eyewitness-Misidentification.php (http://www.innocenceproject.org/understand/Eyewitness-Misidentification.php)

I guess I'm hoping against hope that LE saying they're not looking anymore is a ploy in hopes of tripping someone up. :(

I've been busy the last few days getting my granddaughter a poodle skirt and accessories for a sock hop dance at her school tonight (she is 5 and has no idea the significance of the poodle skirt)  so I haven't been on much.

I thought I heard either on Prime News or HLN that the police can make the kids be interviewed without the parents permission.  If this is true then why the heck don't they do this sooner than later before they are brainwashed!!!

I'm beginning to think that she may know more than she is telling.  Why else would someone keep themselves in JI and DB's interactions with the attorney unless they are all making sure their stories are the same?

The 5-year-old and 8-year-old boys were interviewed by a trained child specialist on Oct. 4 in the hours after Lisa was reported missing. Police watched the interviews via closed circuit television.

Police wanted a second interview and DNA samples from the boys. That had been scheduled for a week ago, but it was canceled by Tacopina. Cyndy Short, who was removed from the case last week, had said she objected to allowing the boys to be interviewed again, saying it would not be productive.

Defense attorneys who aren't involved in the case have said they would not allow the boys to be interviewed again, in part because it would be traumatic to them.

But others content that the boys could have heard or seen something that would lead to Lisa's safe return.

When Elizabeth Smart was kidnapped from her Utah home, her then 9-year-old sister was in the room. The sister initially told her family she recognized the kidnapper's voice but could not place it.

About six months later, the sister remembered how she recognized the kidnapper's voice. This identification led to the safe return of Elizabeth Smart and the conviction of the man who masterminded her kidnapping.

Irwin and Bradley have not spoken to local reporters since the first week that they reported their daughter missing, but earlier this week allowed Good Morning America to film the two boys trick or treating.

An in-depth ENQUIRER in­vestigation ripped the lid off the shock­ing charges surrounding the 25-year-old mom, who projects herself in interviews as a distraught mother shattered by the disappearance of her 11-month-old daughter.

We spoke to neighbors who knew Deborah in 2003 when she was the wife of soldier Sean Bradley at Fort Bragg, N.C. – and they say she deliberately planned to bed the husband of another Army wife.

“Deborah was supposed to be my friend, but she tried to se­duce my husband,” Sara Evarts, 29, of Clearwater, Fla., told The ENQUIRER.

Sara, who lived across the street from Deborah at Fort Bragg, re­called how the now-heavyset mom was a slender, buxom brunette and considered the most beautiful of the soldiers’ wives.

One evening, Sara said, while she was at work, Deborah went over to her home to “borrow something,” from her then-husband Jason and made no attempt to leave.

“When my husband asked her to go be­cause he was ready to go to bed, she joked, ‘Oh, I’ll join you,’ and started taking off her blouse!” Sara recalled. “My husband made her leave.

“I came home late that night, and Jason was sitting in the dark, and he said, ‘We need to talk.’

“He told me that after Debbie made her move, he told her, ‘This isn’t funny,’ and showed her out the door.”

Even more alarming, another Army wife and neighbor, Shirley Pfaff, said that Deborah bragged to her that she had planned to seduce Jason.

“She said, ‘I’m going to get her husband, just to hurt Sara,’ ” Shirley told The ENQUIRER.

When we contacted Jason, who’s now divorced from Sara, he re­called the incident and said that he “wasn’t about to allow anything to happen” with Deborah.

Baby Lisa was so precious --- so sweet-looking and so beautiful.   Many on his blog have commented on the sad looks out of her eyes in some photos.  I, agree, and she seemed to be concerned with her own welfare.  That picture of her standing at the glass
door while Deborah takes her picture from the outside [ you can see the reflection of Deborah with her camera ] is particularly poignant and it's as though she is pleading not to be left inside by her mother - she's worried.   Oh - to pick her up and cradle her!   This is a truly wretched case.  The answers seem so near but yet are so far away.  Lisa deserves the honor of being loved enough by her parents that they would come clean regardless of the consequences to them.  That is the least they can do.

I really hope so. But I admit I'm feeling less than hopeful lately. I just don't get how a baby can diasppear without any clues. If it's this easy to either kidnap a child (or fake a kidnapping, which I suspect, but I don't know for sure) then I suspect more of these types of crimes will be taking place.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Bald head, history of arson, puppy, kitten, baby, on foot, Megan's cell phone, criminal record.

There are definite connections to Jersey.  Is he a scapegoat, an accomplice, a kidnapper, or just a peripheral player who had nothing to do with any of this?

It is believed he turned the water on in the neighbor’s yard at 9:30 and it was turned off by 11:30.  This puts him only a few doors away from the Irwin home during those times.  There was an alleged call from a Bradley/Irwin cell phone to a cell phone Jersey had access to but the time is not clear and has been reported as both 8:30 pm or 2:30 am, the same time as the dumpster fire.  Maybe there were two calls and both times are correct.

If Jersey had been delivering drugs or invited to come over and party, an 8:30 phone call makes sense... He stops by, drops off the drugs or has a few drinks, then heads over to the neighbors to turn on the water.  It is possible he brought the kitten to the Irwin home as he has a history of following and/or taking pets.
 
Based on the witness accounts, one describes a bald headed man with a baby and one describes a shortish, 'built' man with salt and pepper hair walking with a baby several miles from the Irwin home.  My theory assumes Jersey helped and agreed to get Lisa to a specific location from whence another accomplice, perhaps Debra's father, then took the baby. 

This would be a brilliant move to throw LE off the path of what happened to Lisa.  It would be essential to the idea of a 'kidnapping' to have witnesses see a man walking with a baby.  It would be even better to confuse the investigation by having two different descriptions of that man, which in actuality is two different men.

So, Debra either intentionally or accidentally kills her baby.  She calls her father in a panic who then develops this plan to stage events and make it look like a kidnapping.  They acquire the assistance of Jersey and here we are.

Just as an aside, my husband recently saw a news report about Lisa Irwin's disappearance.  It was his first exposure to the case and his initial thought was that Debra sold her baby.  Nothing would surprise me at this point, especially knowing Lisa was placed in her crib at 4:30 pm and expected to stay there until Mom decided to awaken from a drunken sleep the following morning.

Unless Mom knew early on the baby would not be in her crib until the following morning?

The problem is the only people who can actually provide any information refuse to even talk to the police.  The police have probably exhausted every viable lead and double or triple searched most places by now.  Only 1 person knows what happened, well probably a few more by now, if they keep quiet she will probably get away with murder.  And by keeping quiet I mean only talking to press who will pay and only when her lawyer says it's ok. It should also be illegal for lawyers to play their sleazy, slimy games with the law like tacojoe ,  ::boxingbaez2:: and others we've unfortunately gotten to know over the last few years.  Rant over and all IMO, of course.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Volunteers searched Saturday in hopes of finding clues in the disappearance of missing baby Lisa Irwin.

People, including the baby's grandparents, combed through the woods near 53rd Street and Randolph Road. Witnesses have reported seeing a man carrying a baby in that direction on the night Lisa Irwin disappeared.

(NewsCore) - Three Kansas City residents said Friday that they saw a suspicious man walking the streets with an infant on the night that 11-month-old Lisa Irwin disappeared.

Mike Thompson told ABC's "Good Morning America" that he was heading home on his motorcycle around 4:00am when he noticed the man, who was dressed in a T-shirt, on a street near Baby Lisa's home.

"[It was] 4 o'clock in the morning, 45 degrees, the baby don't have a blanket or coat or nothin', and this guy's walking down the street," Thompson said. "I thought it was kind of weird."

Thompson claimed the infant -- who was only wearing a diaper -- resembled Baby Lisa and said that he would recognize the man if he saw him again.

He said he waited about a week to report the sighting to police because he did not immediately make the connection to Baby Lisa's disappearance.

Report: Neighbor says he passed polygraph in missing baby case

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) - A man who lives next door to the home of baby Lisa Irwin says he has met repeatedly with detectives and passed a polygraph.

CNN interviewed Wednesday the husband of Samantha Brando, who is good friends with Debbie Bradley and spent much of the evening Oct. 3 drinking and smoking cigarettes with Bradley. CNN is not identifying the husband, who declined an on-camera interview.

Reporter Jim Spellman said a spokesman for the Kansas City Police Department confirmed that the neighbor has been cleared of any involvement in the disappearance of baby Lisa. The spokesperson said the department "has moved on from him," according to CNN.

Representatives for the Kansas City Police Department did not immediately respond to requests from KCTV for comment on Thursday.

Police focused on Brando's husband because he had moved out of his home just hours before Irwin went missing, CNN reported. The couple had marital problems.

Brando and her husband met with a marriage counselor in the early afternoon on Oct. 3. The counselor suggested that the couple attempt a trial separation and the husband left the home about 5 p.m. Oct. 3, CNN reported. He then went to a friend's home.

Brando's husband told CNN that he spent the night of Oct. 3 with a friend. He showed CNN texts between him and his wife on Oct. 3. At 10:33 p.m., the neighbor wrote to Brando that he loved her and their daughter and to kiss her goodnight. Brando responded at 10:54 p.m. that she and their daughter loved him too.

The man told CNN that he went to bed. He got up about 5 a.m. to go to his job at the Whiteman Air Force Base. The man said he received a call from Brando at 5:59 a.m. Oct. 4 to alert him that Lisa was missing.

The man said he worked his scheduled shift and rushed back to Kansas City afterward to see if he could help in anyway find the baby. The man to that end he cooperated with authorities when they focused on him, allowed his home to be searched repeatedly and ultimately took the polygraph test last week.

That is strange, I looked at his FB a few weeks ago and he was talking about Lisa being missing and that they were neighbors and his wife had been over there that evening, etc.  I see he's also blocked his photos, he had several pics of himself and family and the house they were buying in Sept., don't think it is same house that they are living in now.  As it was quite modern, brick and I haven't seen any such thing in the Irwin neighborhood.

Pic of James Brando, guess he could probably pass for discription that has been given by witnesses? 

 Thinking about the info that has been given re: Brando....He couldn't go home that evening because they were in the beginning of their separation that very day.

 He said he drove around aimlessly for a while and than ended up at a friends house where he slept and went to work at the military base the next morning.  His wife Samantha called him at 5:45 am to tell him about Lisa being missing.

He can’t sleep. He has trouble focusing his thoughts or quieting roiling emotions after each news story about his missing granddaughter.

And baby Lisa Irwin’s first birthday looms five days away.

“That’s gonna be the oh-my-God moment,” said David Netz Jr., weeping. “I can’t even imagine what that day will be like. What will we do? How will we get through that? I don’t even know how to ask Debbie and Jeremy what we should do or how to help them through that.”

Netz, 48, acknowledges the troubles in the family tree, the frays in the bonds. Alcoholism. Estrangement. Divorce. Untimely death.

Debbie’s mother left him more than once. And his daughter moved out of his house the first time as an angry 16-year-old. Still, he says, the two stayed connected, with visits at least once a week.

It feels like the whole world is judging his daughter without knowing anything about her, he says. He’s pained by Web postings that range from vitriol to know-it-all opinions by armchair sleuths.

Added to that is the media encampment at the family’s homes in the Northland.

“My God, Debbie and Jeremy can’t even relax and smoke on the back porch without seeing hidden cameras popping out of brush. It’s horrible.”
 
Last week, the family moved again, to a location unknown to most.

“Nobody knows how they’d react until this happens. I’m sick of hearing, ‘If they really cared they’d be doing so and so.’ … And through it all, little Lisa is out there somewhere, that’s what gets me….”

His voice goes silent, as he sobs.

If the world only knew, he says, they’d stop comparing Debbie with other infamous mothers like Casey Anthony and Susan Smith.

fox4kc is reporting that the search today off of Randolph Rd turned up an outfit described as one that baby Lisa had. DB found a picture of Lisa in it and when the family went to the house to look for it, it was not there. Don't see a link at their site yet.

I can confirm that somebody was indeed at the house today. I am not sure which one, but the family vehicle was there and Ms EF-D was there and the front door was open at the time, so the story does have merit as in the family really could have been there today searching for the outfit. This was after the search was performed.

Some years ago I was doing some research on alcoholics, and it's true. There are some people who suffer from a psychosis when they drink.

I wonder if this is what he meant.

Has it been any confirmation of the searchers finding a baby outfit?

I read the article a couple of weeks ago.....they chalked the shooting up to PTS from being in Iraq. He didn't even know Deb had had another baby daughter according to his mother. He hasn't talked to Deb or his son in 2 yrs.

This is only my opinion... I believe Debbie Bradley was the last to see Lisa sometime after 11:30 pm.  I maintain that Lisa died on her watch and DB obtained assistence in removing evidence and the body.  I believe Jeremy knows this either actually or in his heart.  I believe the kidnapping is staged.

I also believe that there may have been two phone calls, one at 8:30 and one at or around 2:30, the same time as the dumpster fire.

I believe Jersey had a hand in the disappearance of Lisa.

%The more I read about this case the more I am convinced that Debra knows exactly what happened to baby Lisa and knows exactly where she is...or was....the actions of the parents, particularly Debra shows me this is no kidnapper!!

Thinking outside the box here.  Way outside the box because certain things aren't sitting well with me.  I don't think that anything happened between 10:30pm and 4:00am.  I'm thinking that whatever happened, happened between 8:30pm and 10:30pm.

To start with, DB's timeline of events.  Take into consideration that she may have completely lied about that.  The only thing we know for certain is the approximate time DB started drinking, which was around 5pm.  I don't believe that DB drank for as many hours as she states.  From 5pm to 10:30pm?  She'd be hammered.  I'm guessing that she was already pretty drunk at around 8-8:30pm.  Also, why did the neighbor go to purchase more alcohol at 6pm?  Was it because DB had drank so much of the wine at that point?  This would support the drunk by 8:00pm theory.

Other things that bother me:
-At 8:30pm one of the supposedly "not working" cell phones makes a call.  And then another call at 2:30 am.  DB may have used the phone to call for help at 8:30pm and then gave the phones to whomever helped her.  In turn, that person placed a call to someone else for help at 2:30am.  Or to report that things were taken care of.

-No sign of forced entry at the home on Lister. No dogs barking late in the night. 

-The night in question is the first time JI every worked an evening shift.  Great alibi.

-Baby Lisa is ill, yet the mother opts to sleep with one of the boys and a stray cat?  With the baby's room shut?

-The fact that DB offered up her "I was drunk" alibi so freely.  Another great alibi.

-BD and JI state that all the lights were "blazing."  Sounds like a sensational piece of info to take the attention off them.  A case of adding extra details to conceal deceit. 

-The fact that DB changed the time when she last saw her daughter to a time 4 hours prior to the original.  If something did happen to Lisa at around 8:30pm it would make more sense for DB to change the time from 10:30pm to 6:40pm because that would suggest that Lisa was still OK at that point.  Did that make any sense?

I apologize if this all seems like a bunch of mumbo-jumbo but I really feel that whatever happened, happened prior to 10:30pm.  MOO

For some reason, I never really thought much of that sighting of a man with a baby.  I don't know why but I just didn't buy it.  Add to that the fact that the police weren't too concerned at first.  It just sounds to me like something someone made up.  But of course I may be totally wrong.  I hope so.  I hope there was a man taking baby Lisa somewhere and that she'll still be found, safe and sound.

I believe Debra was drunk that night an I also think that something happened to the baby while Debra was out on the stoops having her "Adult time" and she wasnt aware of what had transpired until she went inside and was ready to go to bed, but that time baby Lisa could have been dead for hours and Deb being as drunk as she was and knowing that a long time had passed without her having checked on Lisa she knew that she would be in bad trouble with LE and possibly have her other son taken away and thats why we are here today looking for the truth in what happened to baby Lisa..imo

I finally caught the SVU episode that someone mentioned a few days ago. The one in which the baby died of SIDS, and the young parents faked a kidnapping story because they thought that police wouldn't believe them if they said the baby had just died.

Very insightful. The parents (actors) seemed so credible.

I would think that if anything malicious happened to Lisa, caused by the parents, they would play their part and do their best to not get caught. They KNOW that if they are proven to be guilty, they would both loose their sons... plus go to jail for a very long time.

I think they would hold off for as long as it took.

I don't blame you for dropping your friendship to the woman you described. Sometimes we have to do things like that to keep our own sanity because when people can't help themselves  they can bring us down with them, specially when there is nothing we can do to make them see the truth.

And, like you said, sometimes they lie to themselves... and, worse yet, they believe their own lies.

I think Deborah was functioning at the level you describe on that friend of yours. Sober enough to fool everyone into thinking she has it under control, but drunk enough to have her "juice"... or "adult time" and get smashed to the point of blacking out.

When are the DNA and forensics coming back? I would've put a rush on them, 72 hours tops.

Any unknown fingerprints, DNA, fibers, hair, etc... should give the police a hint of whether the parents are involved.

I mean, anyone dumb enough to turn all the lights on, and rummage through the house looking for anything of value (like three cell phones) wouldn't be smart enough to bring gloves, or a OJ Simpson coverall.

Here's a better link and a description of the clothing Lisa was described as wearing when she disappeared.  The shirt in the picture the folks found and the description of the shirt in this article don't match.  Of course, the description of Lisa's clothing at the time of her disappearance probably came from Deborah Bradley and I don't how reliable it really is.  Maybe the shirt found could be related, I don't know.  But it doesn't fit the description.

hi monkeys! I am curious about when was the last time that DB change LIsa's diappers, when was her last meal and what was lisa's normal schedule....some babies wake up at night and other babies after a good meal and clean diappers sleep through  the hole night without problems.... also in the video of DB buying alcohol she is wearing tshirts, it means it was hot during the day, also the baby was wearing shorts

The baby wearing shorts with low temperatures doesnt have sense, I think DB went to bed with the baby and she rollered over the baby while both were sleeping, in that case I imagine that LE has DB   clothes that she wore the night the baby lisa went missing

We don't any info on, if deb went in the house to use the bathroom from drinking.
I for one, after 1/2 drinks(btw that's all I can drink) have to use the bathroom.
So we are to believe after 5-10 glasses of wine deb never used the bathroom?

Also how many ppl leave (not only Lisa in her crib, with the door closed) there 5 and 8 year olds for about 4 hours in the house alone?  6:40 to 10:30pm.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lisa Irwin's first birthday, less than a week away, will be "the oh-my-God moment" for the missing baby's Kansas City family, her grandfather said.

Lisa, whose parents, Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin, reported her missing a month ago, turns 1 on Friday. Bradley's father, David Netz Jr., told The Kansas City Star that the date will be a wrenching milestone for the family.

"That's gonna be the oh-my-God moment," said the 48-year-old Netz, weeping. "I can't even imagine what that day will be like. What will we do? How will we get through that? I don't even know how to ask Debbie and Jeremy what we should do or how to help them through that."

Bradley and Irwin reported Lisa missing from their Kansas City home on Oct. 4. The parents have said they believe the girl, who was then 10 months old, was snatched from her crib while other family members slept. Police have conducted several searches and cleared about 1,000 leads, but say they have no suspects in the child's disappearance.

The case has drawn heavy media attention, which Netz said has been very difficult.

Could it be that Debra was not telly the truth in regards to what baby Lisa was wearing when she was allegedly kidnapped?

Considering the thisclose relationship of Debra and Samantha and ... considering who Mike Thompson allegedly identified as the male he observed at 4:00 AM on the morning baby Lisa was reported missing ... could it be that the next door neighbors of the Irwin/Bradley were participants in the happenings encompassing a coverup?

I think the picture may have been taken with the iphone app - CamWow?  It distorts the pictures in a goofy way?  Just a guess.

I still can't believe that the new character has a name straight out of "Boogie Nights",  real names?  hmmm.

I think it is amazing the characters brought up in missing children cases who end up never having a thing to do with the crime.  Not saying this guy is/isn't what is being stated...only time and LE will tell us that. 

Now if this is the character that allegedly received the phone call at 8:30pm on MW's phone.  This again leaves another strange irony to add to the case.  He just so happens to have MW's phone that DB has written on her hand and answers it when DB calls for assistance but MW has no idea who the Irwin's are; never met them in her life but this guy who lives with her does and has her phone and answers it at the exact moment necessary for everything to line up?

I say BS.  Not sure what my BS is for yet but BS all the same.

Also, I'm wondering if he's using a younger pic of himself bc the description given of a bald headed dude doesn't seem to match this guy's pic on his old profiles, yet the admin at Justice for Lisa is bent on this guy's involvement. His pic actually looks like another that I found, his first name is Steven & the eyes look alike...looks like he has a bald head, or shaves it. KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Isabelle Zehnder reporting) -- Gil Abeyta, whose infant son was abducted from his crib 25 years ago, and who has made it his mission to assist other families in finding their missing children, said Friday that he and his team prepared and submitted to local police and the FBI a report on a potential suspect in the case of missing Missouri baby Lisa Irwin.

Abeyta came to Kansas City soon after Baby Lisa went missing to offer his assistance and support.

Kansas City Police spokesman Steve Young said early on that he believes people in the community know what happened to Baby Lisa and hopes someone will come forward.

Abeyta said Friday, “I believe the answer is right before us, it’s all around us. We just have to find it.”

News reports emerged over the past couple of days that a potential suspect claims to have passed a lie detector test and claims he was cleared by police, though police will not confirm this. Abeyta said some truthful people fail lie detector tests, and some untruthful people pass. He also said police don't clear suspects until the case is solved.

Finally, justice in America!  Remanded, immediately, into custody. Handcuffed at the defense table and taken away. Can't wait to see him in an orange jumpsuit instead of those slick, silk suits.

"That's gonna be the oh-my-God moment," said the 48-year-old Netz, weeping. "I can't even imagine what that day will be like. What will we do? How will we get through that? I don't even know how to ask Debbie and Jeremy what we should do or how to help them through that."

Bradley and Irwin reported Lisa missing from their Kansas City home on Oct. 4. The parents have said they believe the girl, who was then 10 months old, was snatched from her crib while other family members slept. Police have conducted several searches and cleared about 1,000 leads, but say they have no suspects in the child's disappearance.

The case has drawn heavy media attention, which Netz said has been very difficult.

"People are judging whether Debbie's crying enough, or if she's crying too much, or if her lip curls up in some body language secret, or if Jeremy doesn't show enough emotion," Netz told the newspaper.

He said having the media camp out at the homes of family members has also been troubling.

"My God, Debbie and Jeremy can't even relax and smoke on the back porch without seeing hidden cameras popping out of brush. It's horrible," Netz said.

Attorneys for the family will no longer allow reporters to interview Bradley and Irwin.

Netz doesn't believe that his daughter, Bradley, would have tried to hide an accidental or negligent death of the baby.

"No, she didn't do this. She's not hiding anything. She's told the whole world about her drinking," he said. Bradley has said she was drunk the night before the child was reported missing.
"If they knew how Debbie prayed and prayed for a baby girl ever since her mother died because she wanted to name her Lisa," Netz said, "then they would know there is no way she could do anything to the baby, or God forbid, if something horrible happened, she wouldn't be able to keep that secret."

Don't low of you all have this but I searched Starbuck's Kansas City, MO & found that not a single one is open past midnight, most are closed by 10:00 pm. Jeremy works his 2nd job at Starbuck's, right? Or no? I thought I read he didn't get home til 4:00 am...something like that?

She thought if she got rid of the cell phones they couldnt track the calls. She didn't realize that calls can be tracked in reverse order like they may have done here. If they didn't have the phones then they looked at records of who recieved phone calls from DB's phone....

How dumb can 1 be. They both changed there stories so much. I hope they get arrested and made to talk.

Good Morning. Not really up on the case, just dropping by to see what everyone is talking about.... but my two cents about late night at Starbucks.  My husband works in the trades and often busy stores will have trade work done while  they are closed at night.....

Titch -  It's been established Jeremy was doing work as an electrician  at Starbucks the night Lisa disappeared.  He wasn't serving coffee.  You might want to look through the threads or do searches here.  It might save you a lot of work, and there was already a lot of discussion on the subject.  

Right, my husband does, too. I'm only wondering what he dies for Starbuck's, though, bc it was said ge works his 2nd job for extra money...Starbuck's being that 2nd job. He probably works as much as he can bc he said money was tight. But how could he work a 2nd job doing electrical work? Wouldn't he be fired from his full-time job as an electrician if that were the case? I'm only using my husband as a comparison, as he wouldn't be allowed to moonlight doing the same type of work that he does for his full day job. I literally have no idea. When I worked for CitiBank, if I took a part time job as a teller for another bank, I'd be fired in the spot, even though I worked in investments. It's probably something insignificant anyway, just trying to gather info as fast as I can hahaha!

I know you're trying to get back up to speed Titch. I don't want to discourage you from asking questions or researching.  I just didn't want you to spend a lot of time trying to research something that has already been established, unless of course you have questions about it, and sometimes we do. I thought maybe you should look at what's been posted first.  If you're starting back at the first thread, it's going to take you awhile.  We went through a lot with this case already.  You may be able to catch up on some stuff in some of the other threads such as the ones that have videos and tweets and news links.  I tried to get those started, but it takes a lot of time to keep them up, especially since this isn't the only case I've been following.  It's great when some of our monkeys help put info over there.  Searching takes a lot of time, doesn't it? 

From what I gather, it's an alias. I think he has multiple aliases, as least 2 that were posted on that Justice fb page. Is the other one THK? I forget. I also read that his gf uses aliases as well. This story is heating up so erroneous info could be coming in from all over, so who knows what's true or false...ya know? One thing's for sure & that's the fact that this dude says he likes drugs & he could care less what anyone else thinks.

I heard its not his given name. There's a protective ordr against him in June I hear but I havnt seen it.

Two men are in jail after being charged with raping a Platte City woman.

Joshua D. Greathouse, 23, of Platte City, and Zachary R. Greathouse, 22, of Kansas City, are both charged with felony sexual assault and are both being held on a $15,000 cash-only bond.

According to a probable cause statement, the incident began when the victim, a 27-year-old Platte City woman, and two suspects were at a bar along 45 Highway in Weston on Friday, July 17.

Between 1:30 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. on Saturday morning, the three left the bar and began driving back to Platte City. The woman says she was intoxicated and passed out in the passenger seat of the Nissan four-door vehicle.
