Title: "there are some jobs that are not going to come back" - Obama

OBAMA: Candy, there are some jobs that are not going to come back. Because they are low wage, low skill jobs. I want high wage, high skill jobs. That's why we have to emphasize manufacturing. That's why we have to invest in advanced manufacturing. That's why we've got to make sure that we've got the best science and research in the world. And when we talk about deficits, if we're adding to our deficit for tax cuts for folks who don't need them, and we're cutting investments in research and science that will create the next Apple, create the next new innovation that will sell products around the world, we will lose that race.
  From the debate.

How many people does Apple employ in the US?  China?  Who is Obama to decide?

If someone wants to build a low wage, low skilled factory in the US, why not?
Jobs and work solve a lot of problems.  When people go to work, in my experience most are tired and happy to go home.  They don't stay out all night and cause trouble.  They don't linger on the streets, they don't get in gang fights, mug people...

What does Obama plan to do with the low wage, low skilled people?  People that are not capable of nor desiring a high skilled, high wage job?

Does Obama think that the high skilled, high wage jobs won't disappear too?  Hmmm...has he consulted with his job council?  How many have outsourced the high skilled, high wage jobs to India and China?

Many small business start in their basement or garage.  Are they likely to be 'advanced manufacturing'?

Exactly what jobs/factories/businesses are Americans allowed to do in Mr. Obama's world view?  Welfare recipient?

Why does Mr. Obama keep the borders open, flooded by low skilled, uneducated people?  Where exactly does he think they will work?

Instead of moving the low wage, low skilled jobs back, why not give Americans a 'FAIR SHOT' at creating new low wage, low skilled jobs?

Isn't a job better than a lifetime of welfare?  Everyone doing their fair share and contributing?

Unemployed and college educated is the new norm!  Import more people from India with H1B visas.  Import more sweatshop millionaires from China.

Where does Apple manufacture?  What is the suicide rate at those factories?  Is that the moral thing?  Giving Americans a 'fair shot'?

Unemployed and college educated is the new norm!

just my humble opinions

Not since the days of slavery have there been so many people who feel entitled to what other people have produced as there are in the modern welfare state, whether in Western Europe or on this side of the Atlantic.

Obama never talks about how the 'less fortunate' will contribute.  He never seems to sense that some of the 'less fortunate' are able bodied and lazy.  I know less fortunate that are disable and still go to work, they make the job work for them--staying home is not an option.   I have 'less fortunate' people in my family and circle of friends that are lazy and able bodied.  I have 'less fortunate' people who are disabled and still try every day...they don't want to stay home and watch TV, they want to participate despite handicaps.

If you truly believe in the brotherhood of man, then you must believe that blacks are just as capable of being racists as whites are.

DOJ and the CocaCola decision, voter intimidation of white people, Pigford, etc.  Why doesn't everyone have equal protection?  Equal opportunity?

Do either Barack Obama or his followers have any idea how many countries during the 20th century set out to "spread the wealth" -- and ended up spreading poverty instead? At some point, you have to turn from rhetoric, theories and ideologies to facts.

Who profits under Obama?  Big global banks and corporations?  Foreign governments, companies, and workers?

When will someone represent working Americans?  Poor people?

If there is ever a Hall of Fame for confidence men, Charles Ponzi and Bernie Madoff will have to take a back seat to Barack Obama. Obama is the gold standard -- or, perhaps more appropriately, the brass standard.

I have never known a word to become absolute dogma, without a speck of evidence, the way "diversity" has.
