“Btw I was made the (honorary) Ambassador to US Central Command’s Coalition!” she told a [Tampa Bay] Times reporter in a Sept. 28 email. “In addition to that, I was just recently appointed to be the Honorary Consulate General to South Korea! I’m in DC today - just left from breakfast at the White House. . . . I really hope to see you soon!”

Beyond two generals: The political ties of Jill Kelley and her sister

Today, the White House disclosed that Kelley and Khawam visited the White House three times in recent months Sept. 28, Oct. 24 and Nov. 4. The three visits occurred after the FBI had begun investigating allegedly threatening and jealous emails Kelley said she received over her friendship with then-CIA Director Petraeus. The White House told CBS News' Nancy Cordes that on the three visits, the twins had breakfast with a male staffer in the Executive Mess, then lunch with the same staffer, and finally a tour arranged by the staffer.

Tampa, Florida -- 10 News has learned Tampa socialite Jill Kelley accompanied General John Allen on a military flight from MacDill AFB in Tampa to Washington, DC on at least one occasion.

Three sources have confirmed Kelley was an invited guest of General Allen.

TAMPA — Her business card is utterly ordinary. No big titles. No hint of connections with the military and political elite. It lists her address, her phone number and her name in elegant script:

"Honorable Jill G. Kelley."

But the outsized portrait of herself that Kelley presents to the world will fit on no card. It's seen in her emails to Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and others. She drops names. She mentions lunch at the White House in a casual aside, one of three visits she has made there in the last six weeks.

The military officers remained polite to Kelley and her sister, Rosenthal says, even when the two women were loud and boisterous at parties and dressed inappropriately.

"It's a disaster what they've done to the military," he says. "The sad thing is, that military has been open to the people in Tampa and this one bad bunch could ruin it for everybody."
