Title: Energy Poverty, Obama, and Pipelines - If not jobs, then energy security...
Post by: WhiskeyGirl on July 29, 2013, 01:24:35 AM
What happens when you have no energy?  No fuel to heat your home or cook your food?  No energy to cool your home?  No way to get to work?

You suffer greatly.

Without energy, nations fail.  citizens end up in poverty.

Look at China.  They can't supply their needs and end up in places like Sudan.

Energy from Canada is a great solution.

Why would anyone want a nation to die from lack of energy?

Oil, oil, everywhere and not a drop for the American people.

Energy everywhere and not a unit for Americans.

Leases in the Gulf for foreigners, nothing for Americans.

US loans to foreign countries for oil development and nothing for Americans.

What is wrong with this picture?

"Obama says Keystone pipeline won’t create many jobs"

Quote
“Republicans have said that this would be a big jobs generator. There is no evidence that that’s true,” he said in the interview published by the New York Times. “And my hope would be that any reporter who is looking at the facts would take the time to confirm that the most realistic estimates are this might create maybe 2,000 jobs during the construction of the pipeline — which might take a year or two — and then after that we’re talking about somewhere between 50 and 100 jobs in a economy of 150 million working people.”

Answer?  North Dakota.

How many Americans are out of work?  How many jobs have windmills created?  Solyndra?  _____ Obama Green Energy Loan/Grant Recipient?  Windmills still in business?  Reliable?

How many jobs does cheap, dependable energy create?  I believe it was the backbone of industrialization in this country.  We are almost deindustrialized...

Energy Poverty = Obama

Where is the hope for the future?  Obamacare navigator jobs?  Where is the money to pay for all these part time jobs?

Instead of giving away out energy money to foreigners, why not hire Americans?  Just say no to foreign oil?

just my humble opinions

Why not let the 'free' market decide?  Government keep out?  No more regulation and taxation.

It seems like every fraud/bogus green energy scam government invests in with taxpayer money/debt goes belly up.  Why didn't Obama's donors invest in these awesome green opportunities?

If the free market is willing to invest, why should anyone in government want to stand in their way?

Obama 'Everybody can't have air conditioning, a big house, and a car...'

Why not?  Only little minds have little ideas.
