(NOPD) By Danielle Bell, NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune Email the author | Follow on Twitter on September 11, 2013 at 5:37 PM, updated September 11, 2013 at 5:41 PM New Orleans police are asking the public's assistance in finding a 15-year-old girl who has been missing from her Hollygrove neighborhood since Tuesday. Kayla Freeman was last seen by her mother Tuesday afternoon in the 2400 block of General Ogden Street, leaving her vehicle after a verbal altercation, police said. Freeman called her grandmother for a ride about 6:15 p.m. and has not been heard from since. Freeman has black hair, is approximately 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a navy blue sweater and red gym shorts. Authorities ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Kayla Freeman to call 3rd District detectives at 504.658.6030.
