Tonight I have made a conscience decision not to watch the news all night.  There has been way too much crazy stuff going on over the past couple of weeks.  It is wearing on me and making me wonder WTH has happened to people!

At first it surprised me at how many ugly talking people there were that found each other.....now nothing surprises me.  When I see some who used to be here,,,it reinforces that I was right about them....even when they were here

I was involved in a missing boy case(19 years old) from my area. Missing almost 5 years. He was finally found last year. No foul play involved. That is when I discovered how cruel folks can be. Also reading  The Jessica Lunsford post on AOL was a real eye opener as well.

Sam, when I first got involved with these forums a few years ago it was by pure happenstance and I was pretty naïve.  I was home convalescing from surgery and I got hooked on the Court TV trials.  They would always ask for email, etc. so I checked out their website and followed a link to their forum.  I thought for sure something like Court TV would attract people interested in having a rational discussion about the facts.  Whoa Nelly!  I had never seen such a collection of hate-filled, game playing people!  It was a real learning experience for me.

Every case was the same way, but usually there would be some type of resolution before things went too far.  Then young Natalee’s case broke news and things really began to dissolve at CTV.  *shiver me timbers*

SM is my first message board/forum....Natalee is the first time I souhgt out a message baord...I knew she couldn't have just disappeared...not on that small an island.......I lived on Jamaica for 10 years and I know it's next to impossible for someone to just disappear....people on small islands, like many small towns, know everything that is going on..fortunately it was my experience on Jamaica the people would TELL...they did not want to smear thier island which, like aruba, depends on tourism......there are people on aruba know exactly what happened.....and it's way past time for them to start talking......how in the hell can people on a forum or message board trash the victim? or the victim's parents.....it makes me wanna spit and cuss for sure!!

Well she did claim Jug pushed her while she had a baby in her arms lmao....I think if that was true Jug should have pushed her butt into the oh so clear waters of aruba.

The missing young man in my area was Ryan Katcher.  Missing November 2001 found June 2006.

It's hard to imagine what we all were doing BEFORE this case brought us together.

That would be an interesting topic for another thread... what kind of message boards we were involved with before the Cage. I NEVER would have thought I would get involved in an effort like this, but as the details of what happened to Natalee unfolded over that first week, I could tell that this was not just a routine crime and that there were some very strange forces at work behind the whole thing. So I sought out info and found this site (the Front Page at the time) and another one who shall not be named :wink: and when the Cage started, I was off and running.

I have a vague memory of Dan’s meltdown and it took place when Red went to Aruba to help with the search.  It was almost strange to see him come so unhinged.

I've never made sense of Anita's description of Natalee.  What boy shares that kind of stuff with his mother?  Something very out of whack with all of that.

San We were staying on Patong Beach.  I believe there were 200 people killed there.  Only thing left standing was the Holiday Inn in middle of the island.  All the dive shops, small beach motels gone.  All the boats, the tee shirt sellers, gone.  I think of the people that took us out in boats, served our food and wonder about them and their families.  It was heart breaking.

Muffy that is the worst of this tragedy.  When the ocean was sucked out all the children and adults near ran out to gather shells etc and did not realise it meant a monsterwave was coming back in.
Adding to my post about the tsunami :  700 kph = 420 mph
and 37 metres high = 120 feet high.
Although I have seen a lot of video and TV coverage of the wave it still so hard to imagine how high it really was.  Terrifying.
So glad you came home when you did.

someone left a message on a travel website, on may 31st, before all of us even knew who natalee even was….and the message was from a woman who’s best friend’s husband went on the trip to aruba with the mountain brook teens, and he ended up having to stay in aruba because “natalee left with a man who ended up being a big time drug dealer and they think they took her to venezuela or something” i will send you all the link…..

My best friend and her husband chaperoned a senior trip of 160 kids down to Aruba, and she returned last night. Her husband had to stay b/c they think that one of the girls was kidnapped, and is possibly in Venezuela now. Her parents flew down, and the State Dept., DEA and several other groups are involved now. She left with a guy from Carlos and Charlie’s, and the cops found out that he is a local drug dealer. Just wanted to let everyone know to please stay safe. If anyone in Aruba has any info., please let me know. I should know more later today. Just please say a prayer.

From what I’ve heard on here before. If they had to transport her body, they may have been body fluids in the car. When some one loses their life, they lose their bodily fluids also. I hope that’s not what they found though.

Sadly I believe Natalee’s body was disposed of and will never be found except by a stroke of good luck. There never will be a “corpus delecti” and all the murderer(s) or accessory(ies) has to do is not break, as they have up to now. They’ll never be convicted unless we have either a confession or an eyewitness. Someone has to make him/them crack or this will forever remain a mystery. Actually the white slave theory would be wishful thinking. Highly unlikely she is still alive!

Deepak seems to have a sort of magic car.  All clean, so much so ALE comments on its pristine condition on May 31 when questioning him.

Later, several comment on there being blood "all over" the inside of this vehicle.  Even the Prime Minister claims to have seen this blood along with the FBI and others.

Deepak's magic car is spotted at the Sloot residence by kid with CCroes who even notes the license plate just minutes prior to the arrival of Beth and the Alabama delegation.

Deepak claims to have been at the casino with Joran in the magic car during this period of time.

Can this magic car be in two locations at one time?

Only one piece is missing.

Around the pool the Hindus were told what to say. They did not know why. They were asked to protect the boy. The father was not there, but he knew what to do.

The Hindus thought the girl would reappear.

Greta asked the question but didn't give them a chance to answer.  The guy's name was Koykayne and he was stabbed and beaten (I think) outside a nightclub and the parents had to go down and search for answers just like the holloway/twittys.  The parents have asked the police to turn it over to the FBI and allow the court system here to prosecute it.  They believe it is being covered up and they are corrupt.  Very similar to Natalee.

i told my daughter the other day. she asked me a question about something

Lorenzo = some talk about a fifth (at the time), now 6th after the arrest of Dad, person involved and to be arrested. Nothing has come of it yet. If not mistaken, Lorenzo allegedly owned a crazy-painted van or house and thought was NH may have been at his house at some point.

I am on internet explorer and it is faster than the normal way I post.  My normal way has been slow for me also.

Guys, Croes has given it up and told he knows about the murder and body dump. One witness is not enough. The police need a second witness or the body. I for one do not believe that either of the two smaller VDS kids were even on Aruba. I have long suspected that Joran is covering for someone... and I am convinced it is Paulus.

Two items I would like to bring to your attention.

One, at the very very bottom of the page, there is now a tiny piece of black text that will give you some debug information. It tells you how long it took the server to create the page and start sending it to you.

If you are experiencing slow load times in the forum, please copy that information and e-mail it to me at dugga@scaredmonkeys.com - BUT PLEASE - ONLY DO THIS IF THE LOAD TIME THAT IS INDICATED IS GREATER THAN FIVE SECONDS.

It works like this... If the load time on your end is slow, that number will indicate whether it's our fault or not. If it says it took 20 seconds to create the page, then OK, it's on our end. But if it says something more like "Page created in 0.186 seconds", well, 2/10ths of a second is a reasonable amount of time to perform 17 queries on the hardware we're equipped with.

What I'm saying is that if the load time at the bottom of the page is fast, but it takes 20 seconds to deliver a page to you, then the problem is NOT on our end, and there's nothing we can do about it. At that point, it's either a problem with the network where we're housed (which rarely occurs, but recently did take us out for almost a whole day). OR the problem is on your end (comcast, aol, etc), or most likely there's a "transient error" in between which basically means that the route your computer is trying to take to Scared Monkeys and back has a traffic jam or complete outage somewhere in between that has to be repaired. Any of these three scenarios (over which Red and I have no control) will most likely fix themselves in time. If, however, you see a large time at the bottom of the message board pages, then point the finger at Dugga and I will work to get it straightened out.

As a final note, I did discover that part of our new server was not correctly configured by the company that we're leasing from. I fixed that tonight - so if that was the problem all along, hooray.  :smt038

Dugga - thank you for the advice.  As one of the  monkeys that had the "Server not Found" message many times and pages loading very slowly today I have to say that they have speeded up considerably and it may have coincided with your configuration.

I was trying to read the chapter synopsis of the translation of the "book" but it skipped from Chapter 14 to Chapter 23.  Where are the chapters in between?  What's that about?

A Memphis man is in critical condition Wednesday after his dog shot him in the back.

Police say King George, a 150-pound Great Dane, accidentally knocked a .22-caliber pistol off his owner's end table around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. The gun went off, hitting his owner in the back, MyFOXMemphis.com reports.


"I knew he was smart, I didn't think he was that smart," the victim's fiancee, Miesha Lucas told MyFOXMemphis.com. "He was always protective. I didn't think he would be like that."

Neither King George, being a dog, nor his owner, who lives in the Raleigh section of Memphis, will face charges in the shooting. Police have ruled it as an accident.

But Lucas told MyFOXMemphis.com that she fears what her fiance will do to the pet once he gets out of the hospital.


Anyone else think there is more to this picture?  Seems the fiance's comments are very strange.  What was the dog protecting her from?  Did the dog really shoot him?

(AP) The Tupelo Buffalo Park and Zoo asked residents Tuesday to help in the recovery of a white-faced capuchin monkey that apparently managed to unlock his pen and escape. Oliver freed himself at about 8 a.m. and led park staff on a chase through the park's trail system before eventually eluding them.

Park employee Ann Stewart said Oliver will respond to his own name and may take bait of bananas, marshmallow or grapes. She urged people to call the park if they spot the mammal.

"He will bite. People around here have handled him, but he will bite. Just call the Buffalo Park," Stewart said.

Oliver is a nine-year-old capuchin, a species of monkey native to South and Central America.

Stewart believes Oliver could be in the Country Club or Colonial Estates areas, but said the monkey could have traveled much farther given his ability for speed.

  Hi, all.  I'm new here.  Auntiem, AKA Kindteach, Lorraine.  Was at BFN long time, quit, Sept. 2005(?) I think!!!   was in agreement with Deetch.... went to Boycott Aruba, and one of Faith's sites for awhile...been busy and just sort of following on FP and al.com.  anyway, only recognize Granny Toad...hope it's ok for me to be here.  I'm only fairly active in summer, go back to school in Fall (Old teacher, get very tired!!).
