Arambatzis – going to post what I have in a couple of posts and hopefully it will make more sense. These are the Arambatzis name connections that have been found so far. There are documents and certificates for some of the relationships, and many addresses and properties have been checked. Vms, Sharon, Hotping, Lala’s, and probably Monkeys unknown to me researched this, and this is a summary of all that was found.

3 or more preliminary people searches were used to come up with the family connections. Hotping and myself, both found Mayra Smalley separately, and by different means, and IIRC it was on the same day! Our research comes up with Mayra Smalley as the mother of Ernesto. Since Ernesto was probably born in Venezeula, his race would not be listed as white. Mayra’s is listed as white. Mayra would be the daughter of Nicholas, Greek, and Editha, Dutch, Arambatzis of Florida,  and Ernesto the grandson. Mayra comes up related to D.Arambatzis, is this Ernesto D. or are we missing a link?

Continued…going to post the name associations last as I will have to take some time on it.

Arambatzis is a Greek name…The links to Mayra below say that she lived in Venezuela. One says 12 years and the other 25 years. (other Monkeys have compared the 2 pics and come to the conclusion that they are the same Mayra Arambatzis.)  Daughter of a Greek father and a Dutch mother. Arambatzis appears to be a Greek name.

Robby Gerardus Arambatzis Perez, from Venezuela related to the Arambatzis from Florida how?  Since this is the only family we have found, so far, Robby would have to be the son of Nicholas and Editha, or be Mayra’s husband and for some reason taken her name.

Lilian Regina Arambatzis-Rodriguez Albert from Aruba related how? It appears that her maiden name is Arambatzis. Then she would have to be a sister to Mayra, and daughter of Nicholas and Editha.  Only problem here is that the Chamber records for 2004 listed her as Dutch. Which means she was Dutch or Aruban, considered to be Dutch. An Arambatzis born in Venezuela would not be considered Dutch.

If the Arambatzis is Lilian’s married name, would she keep it after being remarried?
Robby seems to be Lilian’s son, but haven’t much info on him, except the newspaper link.  Freddy?…Still looking at Zedan…most likely in the US, as Aruba and Venezuelaen searches have come up empty. Regardless, cannot make a connection with the above family relationships as to Ernesto and Freddy being half-brothers or step-brothers. Klaas has suggested a link through Sasha Rodriguez.

OK Mum, I'm going to take wild shot at the name game......

Lilian was born Lilian Regina Rodriguez Albert.  Her father (Rodriguez) must be Hispanic and her mother (Albert) was probably Dutch.  She is married to her second husband.  The last name of Husband #2 is Arambatzis.  Her name should be Lilian Regina Arambatzis Rodriguez, but for some reason she has held on to Albert, her mother's maiden name.  So, she incorrectly calls herself Lilian Regina Arambatzis Rodriguez Albert.

Ernesto was born Ernesto Zedan Rodriguez Albert, if husband #1 was his Zedan father.  Otherwise, he would be Ernesto Rodriguez Albert, if he was illegitimate.  When Lilian married for the second time, Arambatzis adopted Ernesto, which does tell me that he probably was illegitimate.  So, he is either Ernesto Arambatzis Zedan Rodriguez or Ernesto Arambatzis Rodriguez (+/- Albert).  Ernesto is a model and into the night life. He came to the US to school.  He probably dropped all of the names except the adopted name of Ernesto Arambatzis.  He was probably illegitimate and some wealthy man did his paternity obligation by paying his tuitions.  Ernesto goes by his adopted last name and it is probably less embarrassing than using his mother's maiden name which tells the world that he was illegitimate.

Freddy's biological father is Zedan and Freddy's correct name is Freddy Alexander Zedan Rodriguez (+/- Albert).  His father was Lilian's first husband.  Lilian's second husband has also adopted him or he is just incorrectly using his mother's second married name. so he now goes by Freddy Alexander Zedan Arambatzis or Freddy Alexander Arambatzis Zedan (+/- Rodriguez Albert), depending if there is a special order of last names with adoptions.

Sasha Victoria Arambatzis Rodriguez (+/- Albert) is Sasha's correct name.  Current husband, Arambatzis, is probably her biological father because Zedan isn't in her name at all.

Ghis isn't a real sister and was only fooling around in the newspaper because she and Freddy are good friends and she feels like a little sister to him.

Arends is complete nonsense.  The name was probably mixed up with Max in the beginning and the newspapers just rolled with it.

Robby Gerardus Arambatzis Perez is either Lilian's husband (his mother's name is Perez), a brother-in-law of Lilian, or a cousin of Lilian's husband.

Does this make sense?   I have no clue if this is correct.  It's just a guess.

Ernesto Arambatzis-(mother's maiden name) could be the legitimate son of Robby Arambatzis.  His parents could be divorced or his mother could be dead.  When his father married Lilian, his name didn't change.  He could be Lilian's step-son, a step-brother to Freddy, and a half-brother to Sasha.  Ernesto could have other siblings or relatives named Arambatzis in Florida, that wouldn't be relatives of Freddy - only Sasha.  Ernesto could have been in Bradenton because of his biological mother or aunts and uncles.  If his mother is still alive, she could have a new name in Florida.  Have you found him living anywhere with someone?  His paternal grandparents are probably Arambatzis and Perez.

I do think that Freddy and Sasha have similar features.  Ernesto doesn't look like either of them.

IIRC, Ernesto at one point told Freddy to stop using Arambatzis?  Maybe this was because Arambatzis isn't Freddy's name at all and he just uses it because everyone else in the family uses Arambatzis.  It might be unlikely that Robby Arambatzis-Perez adopted Freddy if his Zedan father was still alive in Venezuela.  Unless he was adopted by Robby Arambatzis, his real name should be Freddy Alexander Zedan-Rodriguez (+/- Albert).Arends could be his paternal grandmother's name.  His father could likely have been Father Zedan-Arends.  Put it all together and you get Freddy Alexander Zedan Arends Rodrigues Albert, and Arambtazis is not offical at all and only used around the neighborhood to identify him with his family that uses the Arambatzis name.  His correct name is probably Freddy Alexander Zedan just as it says in the police statements.

I do think that Robby is probably Lilian's husband.  If Ernesto is Robby's biological son, this might be why Ernesto got the fancy education that Freddy and Sasha didn't get.  The Florida connection is Arambatzis and Perez, not Zedan or Rodriguez.  Ernesto is probably only related to Freddy through marriage, but he's Sasha's half-brother.

This is making me crazy.

I don't believe that Arambatzis is Freddy's legal name, unless Lilian's husband adopted him. That's most likely why he stopped using it and stayed with Zedan.  According to the police records which say that his name is Freddy Alexander Zedan, this chart would be correct.  But, it's Aruba and who knows.  This configuration would eliminate all of the illegitimate child guesses.

Mum - I put Freddy's father's mother as Arends(?) because Freddy had claimed to be aka Arends.  It could actually be Arandashi as Art Woods stated.   If we can figure this out, I'll change it on the chart.  I have no idea where Ghis would fit in here, if at all.  We need to know more about her, including her age and last name.  Depending on her age and full name, she could be Freddy's biological sister through Lilian and Zedan.  She could be the daughter of Lilian and Robby.  She could be Ernesto's biological sister through Robby and Ernesto's mother.  She could also be the daughter of Zedan and a second wife or the daughter of Ernesto's mother and a second husband.  Ghis could be Freddy's sister, half-sister, step-sister, or nothing at all.

If Freddy's genealogy chart is correct, it would certainly explain why he claims to have been born in Maricaibo and Ernesto claimed to be from in a different location in Venezuela, when he was at Bradenton Prep.

Mum - I have been digging and I think that I can link all of our Arambatzis information together.

Mayra Arambatzis Ribiero Smalley (11/24/56) is the mother of Ernesto, according to what you found.  Her picture is below.  I don't have a maiden name.  It's possible that it's Prada.  She is connected to Nicholas and Editha because they are her former in-laws.  She was most likely Robby's first wife.

Nicholas and Editha (Perez?) are probably the parents of Robby and Julio Caesar (12/13/58).  It looks like Julio has been married twice - Tania M. Cordoza and Sandra Smith.  I don't know who D. Arambatzis is unless maybe another sibling of Robby.

If Victor Arambatzis is Mayra's son and vms has the proof, then he is also Robby's son and the full brother of Ernesto. Victor Manuel Arambatzis is married to Maria T.  I will make an Arambatzis chart.

I have also found a Claudia Arambatzis and a Cristina Arambatzis.  Cristina lives in Paris.  These two are most likely full sisters or cousins of Ernesto.

I have found some Zedan connections in Venezuela.  I have found Natasha Zedan, Johnny Enrique Zedan, Virginia A. Rahn Zedan, Silvia Zedan, Jorge Zedan, and Guillermo Zedan.  These Zedans look like they are Freddy's cousins, but it is possible that one or more could be a sibling of Freddy, a child of Lilian.  I also found possible cousins with the last names Auvert and Adudei.  These likely These likely cousins are in Venezuela and there are also Adudeis in Florida.

I have found a Pedro Rodriguez and there is a possibility that he could be Lilian's sibling.  I also found a Rebecca Zedan who could be Freddy's paternal grandmother.

In the mp3 recorded in April of 2004, Mayra said she came here 27 years ago, is a single mother, and that she has one child - fifteen. That would be Victor, IMO. She must be related to Ernesto as she is listed as his friend on his facebook, but I am not so sure she is his mother...

You could be right!  I was going on the information that you and Mum had identified her as Ernesto's mother.  She could very easily be Robby's sister, daughter of Nicholas and Editha.  What is the information that someone had saying she is Ernesto's mother?

I changed the configuration so that Myra M. and Victor Manuel are now siblings of Robby.  This actually makes more sense because Myra says in the article that she only has one child which would be Victor.  She would now be Ernesto's aunt.  It also makes more sense because Myra's son could be named Victor for her brother, Victor.  See if this configuration better matches all of the information that we have.  Ernesto's mother is still unknown.-

 vms - I am also thinking that Myra isn't Ernesto's mother.  When he was at Bradenton Prep, he listed his hometown as Porlamar and on one of his Facebkk or MySpace pages, he listed his hometown as Caracas.  This is probably where his mother is.  If Myra were his mother, he would have listed his home as Florida, because she was already living in Florida when she married Clarence Smalley in 1987.  I even wonder if Ernesto has actually ever lived with Lilian and Robby.  He doesn't seem to have many people from Aruba on his MySpace and Facebook sites.  Most of his friends seem to be from Florida or Venezuela.

I am the best friend and neighbor of Joran. We got to know each other about two years ago. Joran and myself are both really into sports and that is how we became good friends. Monday afternoon on the 30th, Joran came to my house. He told me that the previous day, Sunday, he had befriended a girl in the Holiday Inn casino and that she had invited him to come to Carlos and Charlies that evening. He went and they danced and drank together. After that he, Deepak Satish and the girl drove off. Her friends saw that. The drove in the direction of the Lighthouse; a white car was behind them and most likely wanted to race Deepak. But that is something Deepak would never do. Joran told me that he fingered and had french kissed the girl while they were driving. He did not say that he had had sex with her. They drove to the Lighthouse, she wanted to see sharks. But Deepak only drove up to the Lighthouse because his car is very low to the ground and cannot drive up to the North side of Aruba. The girl had said to Joran that if Deepak and Satish would have lived in her town, they would be slaves. After that they drove to the hotel. When the girl had pushed open the door of the car, she fell to the ground. Joran wanted to help her but she shoved him away. (....)

The next day, Tuesday May 31st 2005 in the afternoon, I was with Joran at the raquetclub. Joran looked worried. He asked me if I could remember what he had said the previous day about the girl. I told him yes. The girl had gone missing. The FBI had been to his house during the night but he had not been home. His father had called him to find out where he was, Joran said that he was in the Raddison Casino. He told he that after that phone call he was called on the phone by Deepak and that Deepak picked him up a few minutes later. They drove to Joran's house. The FBI and the girls family were at his house. After that Joran told me that Deepak, Satish and himself did not drop off the girl at the Holiday Inn Hotel, but that the four of them drove to the beach at the north side of the Marriot Hotel. The girl had fallen several times on the way to the beach. Joran told me that at some point she "no longer came around/no longer regained consciousness" and that they had left her on the beach. He also told me that he had left his gym/sporting shoes on the beach. After Joran had told me this, I asked him why he had left her there. He answered me that at that moment he had not known what to do. Joran told me that after this he was dropped off at home by Deepak and Satish. On the evening of June the third, I met Joran at his house. (....) He told met that during this period, he could not remember if they had bought something to eat or did anything else.

PALM BEACH - Recently, the most popular bartenders on the island went head to head in a super hot competition against one another for the coolest cocktail on the island. Last Friday night, thousands of spectators participated in a taste contest for the best island cocktail at Paseo Herencia Mall across from the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort. Some absolutely marvelous cocktail concoctions were created by some of the finest bartenders on the island.   
  Hands down the most popular drink of the night was the "Aint Dutch, Aint Much" cocktail by Gijs Vant of MooMba Beach Bar and Restaurant. A close runner up was the popular bartender Natasha Zedan  from Marriott Hotels with her "Aruba Pink Passion".

Bartender Lee Croes of Mr. Jazz came in third place with his delicacy "Rose Fall" closely followed by Bartender Gregory Rasminj of Mr. Conga with his namesake "Mr. Conga".
Bartender Victor Calmes of Mathew's Restaurant finished in 5th place with his popular "Bull Kiss".
