Yes, Jacqueline, they make Instant Grits!  They aren't quite as good as the regular grits but they'll do.  I sometimes have them for breakfast at the office.  Hot water and a microwave. WOOHOO!  Cheese grits are particularly tasty.  Must have butter and salt/pepper.

I think it would be great if someone is telling the truth but after 15 months its hard to believe anything anymore..

I am glad that Dave, Stephanie coauthored the book and that it was written by the people who wrote it and that it was written exactly the way it was.

Am i correct that Garrison played a role in arranging for Joran to come to NY and do his ABC interview?

Good point Anna about the sea sickness being a tool to get the Gottenbos to do his bidding.  But if I were them I'd have told him to deal with it himself, unless Joran is holding some dirty secret about them too.  

I want to know more about Guido and how he fits in to this.  If he's truly gay, and not bi-sexual, what is his role in the Pimps?  Was he the crooked dealer the boys laundered the money through?  Why would he be arrested for suspicion of heavy battery against Natalee?  Why would he run away from Aruba so quickly? All that makes me think he had a direct role in her death.

I've always wondered if he played a role in helping to get Joran and Paulus served  :wink:

It was Scoop trying to be the big wheel at RU that leaked the info that Joran was coming to the USA.  Nancy Grace picked up on it, and I beleive, she was the one that notified the HT family and/or JQK.

I used to give people the benefit of doubt but not with this case..  I now will only believe something that I see proof of, I have seen too many   unnecessary speculations and floating rumors. I would get my hopes up with claims that we would have justice, only to prove a damp squib at the end continuing to grapple with a dirty little island. They know what they do and a lot of it is just a cruel thought process remains no better than that of a Neanderthal man showing little mental development since the stone stage.  Now, the ball is in the Dutch's court. I myself have stop giving these people the benefit of the doubt that they will give Natalee's family justice..  In the eyes of this peeping squirrel, it is not the crap that they tell us that is important; rather it is what they achieves.  I really don't care about the politics anymore on that island, I just want Natalee home and her parents knowing what happen to their bright beautiful young woman..  If this is politics and I think it might be, then let the situation develop as the proverbial saying - when two elephants fight the grass is trampled always.  Meaning that Aruba can sink into the ocean and will never be missed..

My favorite:  Cheese 'n' eggs with raisin toast, grits and a waffle.  

Quaker Instant Grits are pretty good.  Come in several flavors.  Cheese is my favorite.

For someone to help the victim's father write a book, and then turn around and arrange for the prime suspect to have an opportunity to trash the victim to an audience of millions on TV, rubs me the wrong way in a big way.  Even if he did help arrange for Joran to get served, that doesn't redeem him in my eyes at all, it's just an example of him going back and forth playing both sides.

I was really happy because of the work I been doing I lost about 5 lbs of the 10 lbs I want to lose but I think I will make myself a late night dinner..  I love to eat fried fish with grits, its the best..  What about cornbread dumped into milk..  I will be back later if I don't fall asleep, I replaced a water pump for my Mother and that was a job in this hot sun..

What if he discussed it with Dave first?  I am not saying that he did, but I just think he might have... and whether jvds thinks so or not... the last round of interviews just smacked of OJ... and let's face it... who still believes that OJ is "looking for the real killer"?

The way I look at it, giving the sporter the opportunity to trash the victim is a way of providing him an opportunity to show his true colors.  It illustrates what kind of person he is.  I doubt that "I was scared" crap played very well with most people...especially parents.   I think I'll take a wait and see on this one.

I think we can asked Dave that very question on Dana "Did you know that Larry was working on getting Joran an interview with GMA and what are your feelings of him doing that?"  If Dave says he is ok with it, then I will be too..  I believe that Natalee's family have been used by a lot of people and if they knew what we know today they would of done things a lot different..

I'm with you about Garrison too, I think having to play in the world of hollywood and MSM, that he's wise to soft-pedal his opinions. To some you have more credibility if you don't bash the other side of the equation, so we can't know if that's part of his strategy.

I do know when we needed him to slam Renfro for her frightening statements, he did it and did it well.

As for the Karr's, I can't know what he's thinking, but willing at this point to ponder the benefit of the doubt.

Oh... don't leave Peaches and her cheese out of this... LOL...

Just received an email statement from Larry Garrison that is a follow up to his comments that he made earlier this afternoon. It has not yet been added to the FP. I reads as follows ...

I have the highest and utmost respect for Scared Monkeys, Red & Tom. The relationship that we have effectuated on the Aruba story has bonded us and will perpetuate a long and lasting relationship in any and all news stories.

I think Scared Monkeys rocks. It would be one of the first place I would go for a news story in the future.

That interview brought a ton of attention back to a story that was lagging in the media.  It gave us a chance to hear Joran's side and hear him tell new lies that contradicted the old lies.  Joran looked like a fool in that interview with the makeup, the flitting eyes, the lip licking and changing stories.

Excellent point, Mrs. Red ~ all sorts of things could be happening behind the scenes that we're not aware of...

And what Anna wrote on the last thread ~ I didn't know that he was the one who helped make talk of Julia's horrid "book" go away...  I too have to be very grateful to him for doing that.

But for corn bread lovers
#1. use cast iron skillet to cook in...

#2. if you ever have any that is a day or so old... split in half.. so only 1/2-3/4 inch thick.  lather cthe ut side in butter.  Throw in to Hot  pan butter side down..get a deep brown (crispy) on that side, flip for 30-60 secconds to warm. Rremove and add lots of HONEY / Maple syrup to to deep brown side.

#3.  Always,  Always add a bit of sugar to the mix ...for  Johnny Cakes

#4.  A can or part of Creamed/ regular corn or peppers added to a mix is good to.

I have said this before and I will state it again ... 95% of all conversations we have had with Dave & Beth have never been repeated. Much of what we do behind the scenes is never repeated ... there is a reason for this.

There is much that goes on that is never reported ... it may all come out one day.

The purpsose is to help the H/T familes get to a conclusion  and other familes, not get a scoop or repeat something we hear to make one sound important.

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes ... you cannot even imagine. Know that the access you have to so many in the know is beyond the norm.

I think 50% of them already knew who she was and the others weren't smart enough to figure it out.   :wink:  Some of them are beginning to question Glenda/JR and what she says.

Thank you Red.  Personally, I wouldn't want to know all that goes on behind the scenes.  I'm sure that some of it is very heartbreaking.  And it has to be hard not to accidentally leak something.

Who did they think it was that was so authoritive on the case?  I guess they believed everything that was written as long as it was pro-Joran.  That'll teach them to blindly accept things as the truth without questioning it or who it is that is saying it.  I'd say it's a case of the blind leading the blind, but it's more of a case of the sick leading the sicker.

I hope Julia/Glenda/Scoop remembers to edit her post about the trauma to the suspects of handling the cold dead flesh of a corpse that she once posted.  Was totally sickening and made me wonder just how involved she really was as that just seemed like way more than a casual observance.

I for one will entertain your theory of the one talking being Dompig.  Could as well be him as just about any of the others for after all he is the one who announced the confession and location of the body, etc.  Only van der Straaten getting himself back in office quashed that story.

Dompig does love to hear himself talk and has done so out of both sides of him mouth since the beginning so I like your theory on that.  Not as well as my Koen but maybe third place in my versions.

To this day I have to wonder what would have happened if van der Straaten, Paulus best bud, had not been able to boot Dompig out of top seat.   :roll:   Might it all have ended right there on that weekend when Dompig was in charge?  Could be him.   :?

Don't know if this has already been posted but MF did a Diario trans today about the Dutch investigation. Nothing new to me except...

"The case will be revised and it is not excluded that suspects in this case will be interviewed again."

I agree Anna it does make you wonder how involved she is.

I often wonder about Dompig also.  I would say the outcome would have been the same especially when I think his own son has done the same thing as Joran.  He drugs and rapes tourists.  JMO.

It has been very obvious from day one that we dont know everything, and as much as I dislike that Ale it is critical if they have anything to keep it under raps.. and the family it is in there best interest to keep certain things quiet..Nobody here specially you Red would do anything to harm this case as you have stood next to these people in there deepest, darkest days, You have gained there trust and with that you will be able to get first hand information to provide to us when teh time is right and the family allows , Red Thank you again for all you do for Sm and the family.. One more thing... what I said yesterday was not secondhand and of uncertain reliability as in Garrison info.  I'm 100% certain that there is an individual you would not expect, who previously "walked in the darknes" as someone put it, who says they have changed their minds based on the statements.  Of course I can't guarantee their conversion is genuine but that is what they say.  I sort of wish I hadn't gotten confirmation first and just aired my suspicions because this is something that would make the darkside rather shocked and unhappy.  Please don't repond to this post, I shouldn't have said as much as I did and I'm only repeating it in case some who had their morale boosted by what I said are now concerned that it is no more reliable that what I was told about Garrison. This is confirmed, the statements are having an impact.  Again, please don't respond to this post or discuss this.  Thanks.

You may be right about his son for he was stalking tourists when Dave was there.  

But speaking of Dave, remember when Dennis Jacobs rang Dave's phone off the hook and even left messages for him back in Alabama because Jacobs heard Dave had been talking alone with Dompig?  That was strange.  He told Dave that Dave must never speak to Dompig alone and to only go through him, Jacobs, etc.  

Dompig's son may well live with his mother and Dompig did not even want to work with the woman who represented her in their divorce when she represented Beth.  Very unprofessional.  But he did make his kid fess up that he lied about the von Cromfoirt kid.  Maybe Dompig is one of those ex-husbands who thinks it worth it for the kid to run amok so he can point to the mother as to blame for it all.  See, I told you she was no good.  She has let the kid go wild, etc.

But I am just thinking out loud and speculating and have no inclination that the one talking is really Dompig.  I can just see how that could happen.  That's my problem in all of this, seeing too many angles.  Must just be patient and wait and see but ti is difficult after so very long as we have already waited.  More likely one of the young PIMPS.

I think his kid told the truth about GVC.  Dompig forced him to say he lied.  I remember reading Dompig's son wasn't crazy over his father.  From what I remember he even said his father was a cold man.  Did Dompig tell his son to lie because of is own sons involvement?

I guess she'll be off to see the Wizard.  Maybe they will give her a new heart while they are at it--she already has the nerve...

Anna, I wasn't really serious about Dompig... maybe I was... but it was just a nice fantasy and a fantasy movie... Halle Berry plays Dompig's wife.....

I'm not a believer in the big conspiracies so I don't think Dompig has anything to talk about other than what a moron he is.  I don't think there are more than 2 or 3 people on Earth who know what happened to Natalee and where she is, and I don't see anyone with such knowledge spilling it for a book deal without making a deal with law enforcement first.  So I wouldn't invest much hope in this.  I'll be happy to be proven wrong tho.

At  first I was just thinking outside of the box as to who could have the info to solve. Why not someone from inside the case and not a suspect ?
Or one of the witnesses ?  Who lost things because of the case ?
Who has a big ego ?

Rift between Dompig and his kid and also one between Dompig and the Jacobs/van der Straaten team but probably not enough of one to make any difference in the outcome of their miserable performance.

Which, BTW, they are now demanding be praised by one and all as an excellent investigation.  Who are they kidding!!   :shock:   That was about the most lousy one I have ever seen but bet they will all pull together and demand the Dutch offer nothing but praise for their most poor showing.

Whoa!  Did I miss something?  I didn't think we knew to whom this person was supposedly talking.  Could be to LE or could be for a book deal.  I don't believe Garrison said they were talking to him, did he?

Just that somebody was talking.  I assumed that meant to some element of law enforcement either in this country or in Aruba and tended to think it was in this country for some reason, maybe the recent migration here from Aruba by so many involved.

But this person is not talking to Garrison are they?  Just Garrison knows they are talking??

Did anyone else notice that Jorans 3:15 am IM to Deepak "Hey Swa, Im home" came from his cell phone not his computer?

"You are telling me that on May 30th 2005, at approximately 03.15 I sent a message with my mobile phone to Deepak that said: "Hey Swa (buddy) I am home now, I will see you tomorrow". After that Deepak sent a message to you with the answer "Okay". To your question what I can say about that, I can state the following. It is true. I did send that message to Deepak".

"Deepak and I had agreed that we should talk a lot on the phone and "Chat" a lot on internet to make our story believable"

So Joran and Deepak could have been sitting next to eachother in the car and sending IMs claiming to be home. We don't know that they were in fact home, all we know is that they IMed eachother from somewhere saying they were home. If they were truely home, they would have used house computers or house phones. This also raises questions how the IM traffic appeared on the home computers if they were using cell phones, it could be all IM traffic is eventually uploaded back to the host computer.

Right, he's not just saying he has knowledge that they are talking, he's saying he's involved  And that doesn't sound like a law enforcement operation to me.  How does Garrison get involved unless whoever is talking wants a book deal.

That is sort of how I take it as well because he doesn't say they told HIM anything.

But heading for the monkey bunkey myself.  I will say with regard to Dompig that when he went to Holland but was still passed over for Chief of Police as he was, he expressed his outrage that yet another Dutchie was appointed over the Arubans.  He was angry about that.  And in the end he winds up without a job, retired either by choice or by force.

So I hoped he was angry enough to break the ALE cover up but instead he went on TV with his Booty  crazy brother-in-law who not only lives in the bushes but not just any bushes, he lives in the very ones right outside Natalee's hotel room, etc. overdosed theory, I just gave up on his being of use in getting to the truth but he has to resent losing his job and he said he resented another Dutch Chief over all the Arubans.

Guess he is just as bad as the rest of them, just has his Booty theory he is pushing instead of the Bushy Haired Stranger came along and took Natalee that most ALE seem to favor.  That, or she just vanished as Arlene claims. :roll:

I have always maintained that our FBI knows WAY more than what we are led to believe by the media or those who purport to know.  THANK GOD the true insiders such as SM, and the family have kept 95% of the facts "secret". If that was not the case -- then I would REALLY be worried!

As a related topic -- over the years people have often said our Government/Military are "really stupid" and they "don't tell us the truth" about our very own Defense capabilities. I have always replied to these people that I sincerely "hope to God" that they are NOT divulging everything they know or are capable of! (Then I would REALLY be worried!)
This same principle applies to the case here.

He has a reputation as easy going, easy to talk to person that knows the ins and outs of the news media machine.  Most people have never had hordes of media descending on them at once.  Larry reaches out to them and offers his expertise on how to navigate it.  They talk about the help they will need and about the story and how it can be manipulated to be something it isn't. Most people want their side of the story to be heard.  Larry listens, checks the facts, and carefully considers how to procede.  He wanst to be on the side of the truth, to get to the bottom, and that usually takes hearing all sides of the story.

But Garrison isn't presnting this as a leak, he's not saying "Sources tell me that someone is talking"... he's saying he's part of the process of getting this person to talk.

No one in the know said anything about this person spilling their guts for a book deal. It was merely a statement that someone is talking about the case to him. They seem beleivable so far, but that Larry's team is taking it slowly, checking the story out as to how things match up. When they are satisfied the story checks out, they will bring the witness to the appropriate authorities to further confirm the story.  Most likely if this person succeeds in getting the case solved there will be a story in that or at least an addition in a 2nd book about Natalee's story as to how it was solved.  I don't give a rats patootie what the person's motivation for singing is, I'm just glad they are doing it to help bring some much neede answers to this grieving family. The person could want the reward money, a better life off of Aruba, a book or movie deal, or might just need to do the next right thing and get it off their chest.

I think you did a great job of detailing what likely is Garrison's approach and method, and I do think we are picking this to death to an extent, for there simply is not enough verifiable source information on this as of yet.

I also have often thought the less anyone knows regarding any type of cooperative confession or even statement, the better until it's all said and done. Too much water under this Aruba bridge for there to be acceptable risk in having a leak or to afford Paulus and friends any leap on what may be happening.

I think this family and even Garrison have learned this, over the course of events to date in dealing with the Aruban authorities.

Just an aside but did anyone watch Christopher Darden on Oprah this week? I did, I wanted to hear his perspective a decade later, and he was quite forthcoming. I do feel there are parallels at various levels between Joran and OJ, as well as the legal machinations of the investigations.

Darden seems to be forever changed by the experience, even seems ashamed by parts of it, and he surely isn't a fan of Fuhrman's or his newfound celebrity. What I found interesting was the similarities of how certain parts of the OJ investigation were soft-pedaled just as we've seen in Joran and Paulus' case. Darden also spoke to the "poker" that is played between prosecutors and defense attorneys very succinctly, even the hands played before a trial ever begins.

As he said, it's a defense attorney's job to defend their client and it doesn't matter to a defense attorney if their client is guilty. Someday sooner than later, I hope more is said regarding Joe T's poker plays, as well as all of us realizing he likely never cared if Joran was guilty or not. He cared only about being hired to defend him, show me da money, so to him it's not about conscience but the almighty dollar.

Spock, very early on in this case, there were two FBI agents on Fox in the morning, that guy that comes on after fox & friends and those agents said those boys were in the car, one in the back seat and one in the front seat messaging each other back and forth.  Was that when they were seen by the gardener ?  The Jewish Community of Aruba (Israelitische Gemeente) shares, since 1962, Beth Israel Synagogue as their place of worship, and cares for their small cemetery on Petronia St., as well as for the old one, nearby.

The community received official recognition by the Dutch Kingdom on Dec. 1st., 1956, and Beth Israel Synagogue was inaugurated on Nov. 4, 1962 (Cheshvan 8, 5723.)

The community consists mostly of Jewish immigrants that arrived in Aruba from different parts of the world in the early 20’s, and made it their home. After 1924, a large group of Eastern European Jews, mostly from Poland, settled here, together with Jews from Holland and Sephardic families from the previously Dutch colony of Surinam (South America.)

The community opened a Jewish center on Palm Beach in 1942 – the Jewish Country Club – and, four years later, with the arrival of some Holocaust survivors, the community was officially organized. This country club, no longer existent, was an important community center in which life-cycle events, such as weddings and bar mitzvahs, took place. It was also used for Purim parties, youth activities, and more. However, when most young Jews had to leave the island in order to pursue their college education in the 60’s, and quite a number of them established their homes in the U.S.A. or in Holland, the club was slowly abandoned.

Today, the Jewish community has about 85 members, and 150 Overseas Members.

Due to its small size, and the intimate, close knit nature of the community, one joint organization was formed, blending the Sephardic with the Ashkenazic traditions, respecting their common culture, and enjoying the differences.

The Jewish Community of Aruba publishes a monthly newsletter, Chadashot Beth Israel , that is mailed to local and overseas members. It portrays significant events in the life of the community, and connects all members.

Rev. Cantor Irving N. Spenadel (ledaneps@aol.com), from Merrick, NY, was the spiritual leader of the community from February 1999 until July 2002. On this date he left Aruba to assume a new position as Cantor of a Massachusetts, U.S.A. synagogue. During his stay here he was in charge of leading religious services and providing non-formal Jewish education for the youth. He initiated a program of Adult Jewish Education which was geared to unaffiliated Jews on the island, and interfaith couples where the non-Jewish partner decided to embrace Judaism. Rev. Cantor Spenadel also performed at life-cycle events for Jewish visitors to Aruba who wished to celebrate them on the island.

None, I know that my sons send messages that way all the time.  I really hate using a cell phone since they are so small anymore.  I cannot see the numbers.  Good Lord.  When your eyes are so bad you can hardly see the phone, how do they expect you to see how to dial it?  I want my old bag phone back --- you know the one that looked like you had an extra briefcase.  I loved that thing but that was when a roaming fee cost more than lobster.

Prayers for Peaches tomorrow at Mass also. One of my best friends...single Dad raising son alone like me..and only 38 years old had a MAJOR heart attack 2 days ago..still in ICU. He lives 2 doors down..I am lost w/out him..he fixes EVERYTHING in my house lol..say a prayer for him please.

Hi, my friend.  I am glad to see you.  How is school going?  You know Klaas and I are trying our hands at teaching as well.  Well, Klaas has real students.  Mine was only a 2-hour, one-time class, by design but had it not been, it might have turned out as such.  My students let me know they can "walk on water." :lol:   No, just joking.  It was a great class, quick learners and I thought it was a lot of fun, although there is a lot of preparation for teaching on line.

We started school before holiday too but only 1/2 days to get kids used to it again. This was our 1st full week. Kids go to Mass 2x's a week...used to be 3 but teachers complained not enough time to get it all they need to get in..so cut it down to two. I am doing recess duty again Fridays..I just LOVE IT!! those are truly precious times, I used to do storytime duty when mine were in the primary grades, such fun. Then I volunteered one morning per week with the sixth grade science teacher, who played all kinds of tricks on me in labs. He even had me chase Einstein the rabbit all over the school, teachers all upset as he ran in and out of classrooms, when the teacher let him out just to play that prank on me !  :lol:

I think it is funny that some people don't post for a while and we fall all over ourselves welcoming them back when they return.  Others don't post for a while and we could care less and mostly don't have anything to say to them.  Some people post here and no matter what they say we answer, others post and no one bothers to acknowledge they are here. I wasn't necessarily referring to myself.  I was just making an observation.

I think it depends on many things, casa.  Some monkeys have established and cultivated relationships off of the board, or it could be the intensity of the discussion going on when someone enters the room.  It could be the way things are said when someone enters the room.

Some posts are statements and are not meant to be answered and others are questions that are directed to the topic in the room at the time and they are much more likely to get answered.

It also depends on whether I am laying down or sitting up at that particular moment.   :oops:  :oops:

My youngest did go to college and I am all alone except for my two kittys!  It is really quiet at my house!

Whenever I login nowadays, it seems I have too many posts to read and catch up on.  I need to try to get in here more often.  Casa, the board seems to me like a big social gathering where people wander in and out, some staying and some just passing through.  There are side chats in every corner and a few people on their soapboxes.  I just kind of wander around and eavesdrop on the little conversational threads, ocasionally throwing in a comment or two.  Some nights I am loquacious and bring out my own soap box, but I haven't had that urge in a while.  Slow news and even slower typing fingers!  I like the haphazard kind of conversation that I can jump into and out of when I want to go get a drink or read an email.  I guess this place is just very comfortable to me!   :wink:

This is my 30th year to teach and it is not what it used to be and I really don't think the colleges prepare the students for what they will face when they are out and actually teaching.

Thanks Bearly!!  The team that smacked us around were the runners-up to the "A" league championship last season.  We're a mid level "B" team at best, so...we were pretty much out of our league.  It was a practice game anyway, so all's good.  Will be ok...

What is a leap are these elaborate, Occam's Razor defying conspiracy theories that involve the trio behaving like criminal masterminds for a few hours, then promptly becoming idiots, and telling very stupid lies that were contradicted by the same computer/phone records they supposedly had been creating to support their lies.

Have been reading a little each day, but not posting much.  Takes a long time to catch up after missing a few days.  Our schools started Aug 9, and I have been doing some volunteering at my grandson's school, so am in and out.  

Klaas.... Surprise!  One of my "projects" at school has been to install reading assessments on school computers.  Ha Ha.  Each of 30 computers must have 48 disks installed.  I think I am about halfway through.  Quite a job for someone who is only semi-literate in computers!! :lol:

I am hoping that there are things we do not know going on behind the scenes.  I see some on FP saying that those who know should tell us more.  I do not feel that way.  While I would LIKE to know what is going on, some things should not be discussed on open message boards.  My hope is for resolution for the family.   As long as THEY know all the inside info, I do not have to know.  

Off to Grandparents' Day at school.  My g'son is first grade, and two granddaughters will start kindergarten next fall. It is nice to be able to go when ever I want!  See you Monkeys later.  I am choosing to be positive about the last info, and continue to pray that the Holloways and Twittys will finally know what happened to Natalee.

No he admitted no such thing.  Obviously the point of ALE's question was not whether the message was sent from a cell phone or a computer, it was that the content of the message contradicted the story Joran had just told them, that Deepak had given him a ride home.  Because, in that case, why would he be telling Deepak he'd arrived home.  Presumably that text message is why Joran changed his story to Satish picking him up.

They are 2 separate lines of thought concerning the case, both of which MAY indicate some kind of positive movement. I also am not 100% confident of the bona fides of Larry Garrison- I mean, I was confident of Greta and look at what happened. The only qualifying point I can make here is that DAVE HOLLOWAY thought enough of Garrison to let him co-author the book, which says something.

I also see CLEARLY a scenario in which someone is talking in order to deliver BOGUS info which would be favorable to Joran. That would not surprise me in the least.

You will feel sooo much better after that pounding is gone, but my face stayed swollen for about a week after...

Thanks for telling me that, Jaci.  In my shoes, when I hear the word "cyst" I get nervous.  My DH had a cyst around a tooth as well and the oral surgeon said it is not uncommon.  I'm looking forward to having it over with!

Nope, they actually deleted the entire thread at RU later that night.  What happened was that SCOOP who I believe to be one of JR's alter egos got banned for saying some creepy stuff.  Glenda then got very angry that Scoop was banned.  Diva responded to GLENDA and in her response she called Glenda Julia.  Then the conversation took off from there.  

Like I said though, they deleted the entire thread.

What do you think the part in bold above means?  Why would they decide this on the very night Natalee disappeared?  During the twenty previous times they had done this drill, could it have occurred to even these mentally challenged and alcohol fried brains that something COULD go wrong and a Plan B might be a good thing to have in place?  Might not computer alibis occur to them as well since that is a large thing with that group of Tickle/My Space afficianadoes?

Also, is that report from the NFI?  I sure missed their insignia if it is.  I thought it was just someone ALE hired for I would have thought NFI would do a far, far better job than that.  Truly disappointing if that is an example of their work.  Anybody could just read the messages off the computers like that.  Takes no skill at all and they did not delve into anything deleted.

The last paragraph totally renders it useless saying they cannot say what had been deleted from the computers.  I thought that was the point of their report but if they only take what the suspects chose not to delete, it is all moot.  Basically we have next to nothing and only what the supects themselves chose to leave to be found later.

That report is a joke as far as I am concerned for if they did not retrieve what was deleted, what was left means nothing either.  And their little scheme to use computers as alibi is hardly the work of criminal masterminds for I would say more like fourth graders could come up with that one or even a precocious six year old.   :roll:  Ditto catching on to the possibility of wire taps since that would be at least 1960's technology.  These are cell phone babies and see the world a bit differently than the pre-mobile generation.

I've been thinking about some of these guys in the group.  Joran I believe has no conscience, no morals - etc, etc.  But ya know, I think it is rare for someone who has been involved, or perhaps knows intimate details of a heinous crime not to be in the least "bothered" by this.  I am thinking that perhaps one of these boys - and that is just what they are - boys, not men, is struggling with themselves.  Perhaps their knowledge is eating them alive. Well, I certainly hope so.  Maybe someone just can't live with it anymore.  Koen has been protected - his father came in to answer the questions and isn't it said he was the one sleeping with his parents?  Maybe the pressure has gotten to be too much for him.

For the NFI in Holland to do such a surface investigation of the cell and PC records implies only cover-up, IF it was an NFI report. Holland it the top hotspot globally for hacking and hackers, so they have the talent readily available if they want it, for deep forensics on these smartphones and PC's.

I am sure that Ms. Mickens reported accurately; I am sure that Ms. Twitty really did tell the assembled audience that she did not eat or sleep for the first 118 hours that she was on Aruba. Notwithstanding the fact that such a feat of endurance would be medically impossible, I would like to share with you an excerpt from the Nancy Grace show that aired on Oct. 4 of last year:

Everyone with even a single ounce of human compassion wants to know what happened to Natalee Holloway but when Ms. Twitty is so loose with the truth, what are we to believe?

I, personally, have never believed any of the awful things that Ms. Twitty has said about the peaceful island nation of Aruba in order to justify her boycott.

And I, personally, do not believe that the boycott of a peaceful, stable, pro-American democracy in the Caribbean has gotten the family one inch closer to the answers they seem to be so desperate for.

And sleep, who can sleep during a time such as that. I believe Posner is a mere sixty or at most sixty-something.  Yes, indeed, he certainly was and there was even a photo of the group.  It did not say which one of them was Posner, however, or if he was in the photo.  There were a couple of men that would have been in that age group.  The groom appeared to be only around thirty.  And the Bride's bachelorette party was being held back in Chicago which I thought rather odd.

I have been on the lookout for a current photo of Posner but like the elusive Lorenzo he seems to be very camera shy.  The last one confirmed I saw was the one from the Chicago newspaper circa 1980 I think.  But should I find a photo that I know is Posner and is current I will be sure to post and would appreciate anyone else who might find one doing the same.
