If I were George or Cindy (just shoot me)...nah really...I would have fox news on all day and show all interviews to Casey.  Then tape them and show over and over again.  Then when she goes to bed....play them again so Casey hears them in her sleep.  Put in bathroom so she hears when taking a shower.  Buy her an ipod that only has the interviews downloaded on it.

How about this.  After Casey goes to bed, glue pictures of Caylee on the ceiling so it is the first thing she sees when she wakes up every morning.  Better yet, glue them to her eyes.

I just received an answer to my text and voice mails... they are at the gym working out....he is getting a real ass chewing when he gets home, soon as they can drive they think they can just go wherever, whenever.....I don't mind that they went there, I just want him to let me know...even normal 16 yr.olds mommy's worry....

Ugh...been there done that.  I have a 21 year old girl and a 17 year old girl.  That is why I am going grey.  Get in touch with one of their friends and have the friend text/IM them.  Tell friend they will not get in trouble and you will not tell son your informant.  It will give you piece of mind they are alive.

Grampa George has issues.....don't know if he knows much more than he's saying or he's on the edge of a mental breakdown.

I now work in a law office and what makes me sad is that right now they did not have enough evidence to hold her.  I hope some shows up soon or that precious baby shows up soon.

in my opinion the Anthonys have placed themselves in an even more precarious position.

first there is all the lying - none of which has been explained, or can be explained.

then there is the fact that a missing person is usually missing due to the actions of the person last seen with that person.

now they have the prime suspect living back at home under a time line for the recovery of the missing person.

what happens a week from now when Caylee is NOT back home? I'm serious. What then?

I guess in my opinion, there is no need to search for more info on the net, or spend any time looking in areas not yet searched - the family and Padilla will have this wrapped up. And searching for more info is just a waste of time as you can not confirm a negative. All you can do is prove there is more lying, and there's been enough of that already to last a lifetime.

the last thing the Anthonys will want is Caylee found deceased. That's checkmate - for the whole lot of these liars.

I would say that there is a less than 1% chance that Caylee is alive, so, if you were a family, and you were involved in a wheel barrel dump truck full of lies - would you even attempt to find Caylee?

finding Caylee does not seem to benefit anyone unless she gets dropped off by Minnie Mouse.

that was the plan, but it backfired and the police know that now..it would not have worked anyway, but Casey didn't know that at the time. But I am convinced that was the plan.

I have a hard time believing that George is telling the truth and it makes me wonder why he has not be charged with lying to investigators?

if he lies to investigators - it's possible he is an accessory at a minimum, or he or Cindy are the culprits.

I have a little tale to tell about a parent in denial.

There is a local family here where the mom is an extremely nice person, the salt of the earth. She lovingly raised her son to be a good and productive citizen. He married, had children, and was successful in his work. However, things went wrong somewhere. He divorced his wife and moved in with a woman who had a 14 year old daughter. After a while, the daughter told someone that mom's live-in was molesting her. The police investigated and found photos he had made of the young girl's private parts. When questioned, he said that the girl told him someone else had been molesting her, and he had only made the photos to use as evidence.

Well.....the guy is now serving a lengthy prison sentence. His mom, to this very day, believes the story he told, and swears that the 14 year old girl made up lies about him. His mom is trying to get him a new trial.

When a parent loves a child, they can deny the truth for a long, long time.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

What got under my skin is that she is out which means they do not have enough to hold her.  Even though she is out, cops need to get more info so they can detain her at some time.  Right now, they do not have enough which suc**.  I have worked with many criminal defense attorneys and it is sickening (I am in plaintiff firm).  There is so much evidence that can never be presented to the court for one reason or another even though it is very incriminating.  When you sit on a jury, you only hear 1/3 of the evidence.  I work for law firm and know cases inside and out and know what is hidden from jury because of patient rights, the law or the Constitution.  It would make you throw up....where is that puke smiley when I need him?????

Cops know so much more than what we are hearing.  Her lawyer knows so much more than what we are hearing.  It stinks (and I want to use a better word but don't want the red button...lol).  but believe it or not, criminals have more rights than us because of the Constitution.

I went out on a date one night with a criminal defense attorney.  I asked him how he could do it and sleep at night.  His response...........get ready..........."repeat business because they never change"........that was the first and only date with him.  I could not get out fast enough.

I have believed since day one casey was the one to blame.....

It seems to me that after last weekend's meetings with LE, (he didn't even show up to one of them - or was that a visit with their sweet Casey?) there was definitely a shift in attitude.   I think George shifted a little more than Cindy.  I have to wonder if his denial tank is running on empty just like his gas cans were.

I don't think George and Cindy made Caylee disappear, simply because of Cindy's call where she says the car smells like a dead body. Why call attention to that if she was one of the culprits in Caylee's disappearance?

He sure was working hard to come up with alternative explanations as to what happened to Caylee.   He's obviously motivated to create reasonable doubt for somebody's trial down the line.  I wonder how many defendants there will be....

Well think about it folks - Casey/Kaiser probably came home with the same miserable attitude she went in with (that damn phone call looking for Tony's number) - she probably didn't really think about how horrible this reality was going to be.  Now Mom & Daddy are under pressure.  Which in turn makes her life more of a hell on earth.

I have always said the timeline leaved George as the last person to *see* Caylee....Casy spent the night at Tony's...the morning of the 16th...Cindy claimed she didn't *see Caylee and Casy* but heard them in their room before leaving for work...

GEORGE WAS THE LAST PERSON TO SEE CAYLEE...he claimed he *saw* both Caylee and Casy in the morning *when they got up*...LIE!!!


and this particular morning...according to him..was just like any other day...even though he is watching tv when they left...he was able to remember down to every tiny detail what both were wearing...LIE!

I don't think Cindy had a clue.  I think George did tho.  I don't buy the story of the 16th or the 24th.  He already admitted he lied about the gas cans.  This man is in this to his eyeballs.  JMO

I don't trust or believe any of them - at first I thought (based on the conversation on the phone between Lee and Casey) Lee would be truthful.  But even him (after seeing him today threatening the reporters) - I think they all wanted to believe the best of the princess and now they are starting to crack under the reality of it.

As I said before, I think the entire gas can story was made up to cover for something else.  Who in the hell makes a police report for stolen gas cans valued under $50 unless they want to make a record or alibi for that particular date.  JMO

I'm not sure Cindy is involved - otherwise why would she make that 911 call. If it is Cindy and George and not Casey, or Casey and George, they could have literally kept this from the light of day for two years until Caylee had to show up for kindergarten...
and with the lack of friends and family, it could have been easy..

I agree Rob after all Cindy was in a panic.  I think she had enough of the crap, wanted to see Caylee and when Casey/Kaiser wasn't giving her answers, she freaked and called 911.  

George - it could be he had something to do with all this, he definitely stuck up for his daughter way more than anyone should have.  Based on the facts that i am sure he knew at that time.

I still think LE is waiting to find the body, then come out with their DNA results and bye bye princess.

I can't believe I was so narrow-minded.  George and Cindy are the ones that disposed of Caylee dead or alive and that is why they are so bizarre with their actions and interview lies.  Maybe Casey being young and having her life ruined because she covered for dad/mom is not what she wants to do anymore.  Dad "George" fumes out of house today because he knows Casey is going to crack soon and place it all on "short fuse grandpa" that has gambling problem and needs money?  Maybe Casey had enough of protecting daddy and it is time to squeal and cut umbilical cord.

We do not know who put thousands of dollars on Cindy's credit card.  No one ever came out and said it was Casey.  There are no accounts of where that money was spent....WHY???  It may have been George with his gambling addiction.  If it was Casey, they could have held her in jail for identity theft.  There must have been no proof it was her. Nothing has come out that it was definitely Casey who racked up those charges.  Could it have been George all along because of his debt problems?  Did he stage this to gain book and movie rights to make money and get out of debt.  Did they all stage this to get all of them out of debt?

My fellow marsupials...my brain hurts.  Maybe it was George to get out of debt or Cindy to gain custody.

If that is true, then I still blame her (Casey) because let's face it, she was too busy worried about her partying lifestyle - if she knew mom & dad were twisted.  Do what you have to do as a mother and get as far away as possible.

this also explain the call to Jesse where he thought he heard Caylee in the background. Casey created a secondary alibi in case she could not get Tony to lie.

I don't know for a fact Casey was home at all Father's Day, but Casey was not at home that night because she slept at Tony's (per Clint, who has no reason to lie IMO)

If Caylee slept at granny's like always, when granny left for work, that would leave just Caylee and George. Granny says Casey and Caylee both slept in their bed Father's Day night. We know that's a lie because Casey did NOT sleep in her bed.

George says he saw them leave the house with backpacks about 1pm Monday June 16th.....this is where the George's lies start IMO

Could the flurry of calls (the first call was to George) that Casey made when she went to pick up Caylee and neither Caylee or George was home?

Was George working then? He had just started a new job when Casey was arrested....when was his last day of work?

Why did Cindy and George ignore frantic phone calls from Casey?  Casey noticed Caylee was missing and called them for help but they ignored all calls.

I have to throw this out there.  If there was something really sick going on with George, Cindy, Casey and Caylee, what about neighbors or anybody who would have or certainly should have seen or noticed SOMETHING???  I just don't understand why nobody would have come forth and said something like; 'well, I have seen him with his granddaughter, and it didn't seem right to me.'  Something anything - are people completely blind or do they feel as if the welfare of a beautiful little toddler is not their business???

My thoughts on that are that they were ticked at Casey and had agreed between themselves to give her the silent treatment if she called.

Younstown would not have had casinos close by when they lived there. Everyone went to the horse racetrack or they had a lot of bars with backroom gambling. Now they have slot machines at the racetrack..but that has been more recent.

Please allow me one moment of brief insanity here to explain something I think we have all overlooked.  We are all making fun of Casey's attorney and saying things that to some extent I agree with....BUT...this is still America and last time I checked everyone was entitled to have an attorney if you are accused of a crime.  So regardless of what we think about defense attorneys they have a purpose.  I won't blame Baez for anything he does to try to get his client some relief.  I think he knows she is guilty, but that is not his job, it is to provide legal assistance to his client.  So I think we should all keep in mind that everyone is entitled to an attorney that is a US citizen and even some that are not get it.

Don't get on my case about what I just said...I am on the side of Caylee.  If Baez manages to find Caylee...dead or alive...I will give him that one.  At least he's out trying to do something and not sitting at home eating pizza and whining about the lawn being covered in reporters. Now Deputy Dog and Tonto are another thing...but I can't say anything good about them yet.

It all makes one wonder.  I've wondered about the playhouse too, and the new pavers.  Sure was alot going on within a few weeks...a theft, missing child, abandoned car, new landscaping, borrowing shovels, decomp smell...just to weird.  All this happened within a week or 2, I can honestly say none of those things ever happened to me in a lifetime.

In Youngstown....everyone knows a bookie and a backroom for poker. Most gambling was done through a bookie or at the horse races. The race tracks now have slots but they would not have been there when George and Cindy lived there. Although George may have been able to place a small bet with a bookie from back home still...say on a football game...I doubt seriously if he was able to get deep in debt, he lived too far away and lost a busines.

A lawyer is supposed to defend his client to the best of his ability. I think most defense attorneys  advise the client to not tell them anything   such as if they are guilty. Some times the least they know the better they can defend. JMHO

Thanks, Lisa.  I took him to the doctor this morning and she started him on an antibiotic.  His fever is still up though and red patches from fever are on his cheeks.

I don't either.  In fact, I doubt he's that good of a lawyer.  But he has managed to do some things that have surprised me.  He got this Padilla guy to post her bond and provide protection for her.  I don't like it, but if I or any of my family were in need of a defense attorney I would want him/her to do everything possible to help me. I was outraged at the OJ trial, but OJ was still entitled to a defense whether I liked it or not.  Defense attorneys do get people off, but I don't think he can Casey.

When I listen to George telling the story of the gas cans on Greta, the way he tells it, the hesitation, I thought he was going to say Caylee was in there.  There is just something about the way he tells that story that gives me the chills.  Something does not ring true.  I am not saying Caylee was in there, just that something is off.

A good friend of mine switched jobs from prosecuting criminals (mostly drug offenders) to being a defense attorney in his own practice. I had a big problem with it because I loved when he was on what I perceived as the "right" side. We talked about it and he said everyone has a right to defense...I still wish he were one of the good guys. He has some hilarious stories about his clients, though.

Why not, Rob? I can tell you that, as the mother of a baby, I am in and out of my trunk all the time removing her stroller, diaper bag, and other gear. I'd expect my DNA (and that of my husband and daughter) to be all over my trunk.

I know where you're going with this whole DNA thing, but I don't think it's all that unusual to find it in the trunk. I guess it also depends on what kind of DNA/fluids you're talking about.

Cindy does the laundry apparently, and no one would care if she is washing George's clothes, unless he was a formal suspect - but we know she washed Casey's clothes and she is suspect.

That's a different story entirely. I'm sure my dad has helped me with my stroller a few times, but I can't imagine there would be too much evidence of it if someone were to look. (Then again, I'm comparing these people to my lifestyle situation, which is clearly completely different from Caylee and Casey's, as I own my car and don't live with my parents).

And if she was in the box, thats why the dog would have hit on the back yard.  Maybe he and Casey planned the story about the shed being broke into because that was when they were arguing about what to do and he had to explain the loud arguing.  Then he told Casey to go borrown the shovel next door and dig in the yard (bamboo) so there would be an explanation for that too.  Then the gas cans had to be stolen because why else would he have to get in the trunk, and the car had to run out of gas because why else would you need a gascan?????  Somebody help me out here........

She looks like a ghost.  He questions her, she cant answer...He looks in the trunks, freaks, they put baby in the box. then she borrows shovel from neighbor, he breaks open the lock on the shed, puts the gas cans in the car.  She messes with the bamboo.  The next day he gets rid of the body.  Then later she gets rid of the car (he told her how to do it.   

I keep mentioning this..and I don't think anyone has responded yet so can you give me your thoughts?

The reason I don't think Caylee was ever buried in the back yard is one...the yard seems so cramped and every inch used...where?

But my biggest problem with this theory is that the Anthony's have a least one dog that I saw. And if Caylee was buried in the yard...between her smell and the smell of death...their dog would have been digging her up the moment they let it out.

Gosh that makes me sick to my stomach even having to discuss this in relation to that little angel!!

And if they have finally decided to start holding Casey accountable...if she had stolen CINDY'S parents money...makes sense that George KNOWS that she stole the gas...but this time he is going to hold her accountable by calling cops. Cindy tells Casey your dad is ticked...called cops about gas cans...because the both know darned well she did it...but they are sending a message....we WILL call the cops from now on!!

Cindy says look Casey...you have to fix this...replace the gas and leave a note...she wants her grandbaby home...she wants to smooth the big blow up over because she misses Caylee. She wants to pacify George who is ticked and knows darned well Casey stole the gas.

George she's Casey...knows darned well the gas cans are in her trunk...and he is trying to make her swaet...trying to bust her.

If the anthony's shovel was used to hide a body and it had "decomposition smell"or whatever on it can it be transferred?

Remember Cindy saying she asked George to move a plant from one area to another what if the shovel transferred some of the "decomposition smell" to the yard..

I am sure it could. But my understand was the plant was moved in spring...because Cindy wanted the storage box away from the pool because Caylee could climb that spring.

Ok, maybe Casey came home, she back into the driveway, she went over to the neighbors, borrowed the shovel, George comes out, sees the car backed in, sees her face, sees the shovel, knows he hasnt seen Caylee.  He thinks like a cop, demands to see in the trunk, he opens it, Caylee is there and then the rest of my story.  He makes up something to go with each question that could ever come up.

I just dont know how much time we have.  Cindy would have to be at work, she didnt know.  Then George had to put the whole story together, what were you wearing that day, what was Caylee wearing.  Etc etc etc.

Going back to Monday...Cindy and Caylee go to nursing home. Her Mom is MAD!! and wants them to call police in Casey...she is fed up. Cindy smooths it over...goes home and has a big blow up with Casey...jig is up...and no more stealing!!

Casey is ticked and goes to Tony's house. Cindy trying to relax and goes swimming with Caylee. Casey says that it...I am moving out tomorrow.

You know I dated a homicide dectective for a long time.  They are the most untrusting, parinoid people in the world.  We would go to a restaurant, the waiter would seat us, then I would have to trade places with him, he couldnt sit with his back to the door, ever.....

For all we know the 15th was the last Caylee was seen.  It was know they had a huge fight on that date and, as you said, why would she even want to go back the next day?  George is,once again, the only person who claims to have seen Caylee after the 15th.

There's probably enough time but I think it's simpler than this, IMO.

I think it's as simple as Casey leaving Caylee in the car and Caylee dying.  Casey freaks out and disposed of the body and makes up stories.  Casey has been lying for years, lying comes easy to her.

George and Cindy don't want to allow themselves to believe Caylee is dead.  It's safer for them to believe the kidnapped story.

Could very well be.  For me the big elephant in the room is..what did she really need the gas cans for?  The car had gas in it and was found to be in working order. And she supposedly had money for gas.  Who cares if a camera saw her pumping gas, thats not really unusual, unless she was in a location she shouldn't have been in.   It was Cindy that said the car had a faulty gas guage, so its probably a lie.  Another reason the gas can bother me is there doesn't seem to be a search going on for Caylee, sometimes that means they know the body in unrecoverable and thats pretty scary.  Who knows what they took from the backyard, Cindy says dirt samples and the yard was cleared.  With cadaver dogs hitting there, I hardly believe the yard was cleared just like that.  I personally think LE know a whole buncha stuff.

Q.  Car smell?
A.  According to LE and the cadaver dogs because a dead body had been in the trunk at one time.  There's nothing you can do to pizza to make it smell like a decomposing body.

Q.  Why shovel?
A.  My guess is an attempt to bury someone or something

Q.  Why did she steal the gas?
A.  True the gas gauge didn't work but according to records the car was driven from the impound lot home so it appears it was not out of gas nor was it broken down.  The car was simply abandoned.

I don't believe she was kidnapped so I won't address the rest of your questions.

I agree about borrowing a shovel.  I do believe it happened, per the neighbor and I think casey acted alone.  Maybe sometime over the next few days George out something "bad" happened, heck maybe casey even told him, who knows, anyway they had 6 days to come up with a way to cover up that obvious blunder.  Being a cop, George probably had a fit when he heard she borrowed a shovel from a neighbor (potential witness).  Thats when he makes up the story about the shed being broken into and the gas cans stolen. Casey needed the shovel to break into the shed, she's taken gas before.  Oh wise one George then makes a police report to give this credibility.  So now, the shovel is taken care of.  That would have been the end of the shovel/gas story except George was caught in a lie, now he had to explain how he knew it was casey who stole the freaking gas cans.  Thats when he makes up the story about casey returning on the 24th and he opened up her trunk and surprise!  There were the gas cans.  In reality the gas can were only reported stolen and maybe never even left the property or never saw the inside of her trunk.  In essence, the gas can story was to lend credibility for casey borrowing the shovel.  Did I lose ya?? LOL 

Yes I agree and I bet she (Casey) did this alot.  Left Caylee at home while she went out partying and came home in the wee hours.

Except that Cindy insists Casey and Caylee both slept at home and were both in bed when she left for work. But, she said she didn't open the bedroom door but heard them, so she knew they were both in Casey's bedroom.

I think a dog would dig if something was buried there, yes.  I'm not sure if a body just laid there for a short about of time if a housedog would react.  IF she were buried in the yard, I don't think it was for more than 24-48 hours.  And for casey to pull that off on her own would be a pretty bold move, even for her. If George knew, it would be more possible to pull that off.  It would be pretty easy to keep Cindy and the dogs away for a short period of time.

OT because it is a little slow,  How did you quit klaas?

I got the flu and was having breathing problems.  I was really bad but kept thinking I'd be better by the next day.  Well, at about 3am I called 911 because I couldn't breath.  That was May 1, 2008.  Was in the hospital for 5 days.  Respiratory failure. 

Figured after being forced not to smoke in the hospital for 5 days it was a good start.  I have always said if I could go for one full day I could quit, LOL.  So actually April 30, 2008 was when I had my last cig.  I was on the patch for a couple months after.  My husband took the opportunity to also quit but he quit cold turkey.  No patches or anything.  ::MonkeyEek::

What day was it last week that the lead detective of the Sex Crimes division visited Cindy at home when George was out?  He was there for 45 minutes...and they said it was a "visit."  Very, very unusual visit.

And, didn't Cindy attend at least one meeting with LE without George last week?  A briefing, I believe.  When she left, they brought a car around the back for her and a sheriff's deputy gave her a hug.  Remember?  George wasn't there.

Caught up , totally bumfuzzled by the bounty hunter's logic, and am going to call it a night....Night Monkeys!

BTW.... did I hear right this morning that Baez said when he was entering the jail to get Casey , something to the effect that he was "going to get his girl out?"...... how cheesy can it get???

I hate talking about this...I really do..but these have been my thoughts:

We were told there was a spot in the car described as "fluids" and I correct?

We were also told the car smell like "decomp"

So I just keep thinking...if Caylee passed the 16th...no way do I believe she buried Caylee in the back yard..
1) dog would have found her

2) Anthony's would have noticed yard dug up...not much yard to dig up!!

3) She would have gotten Caylee as far from home as possible.

So if something happened to Caylee on the 16th...most likely place Caylee would have been placed is the trunk until Casey could figure out what to do.


So what fluids could have been deposited...and I only know this from CSI...this is so awful!!! But to smell decomp...would there not have been the breakdown of tissue etc..to leave a fluid that would cause the smell of decomp"

So I would assume...if Caylee passed on the 16th...casey would NOT drive around with her in the trunk for a day or two...she would have found a place to bury her pretty quick.

And even if she did leave her in the car for a day or two...would that be enough time to have left tissue etc in the car that would cause the stain or smell?

If Caylee passed on the 16th by drowning...Casey takes her out of the pool...frantically calls family...can't get ahold of them...puts her in the trunk and buries her...what fluid or tissue would have been deposited...I can't think of any?

If she had passed from being left in the car...again...what "fluid" would be left to leave the smell of decomp? I hate this!!! But even if it were urine or feces left...I would think it would be a totally different smell than decomp.


Finally...if Casey was confronted with stealing Grandma's money Sunday...and she decides.."I am out of here"...would she go home and take a casual swim after a big blow up...or go back home...wait for George to leave...sneak back in and grab $$ and clothes and get out of there!!??

If she left Caylee in the car that day...and maybe Blue can back me on this...at Caylees age...my Monkey could unhook his child's seat and be out the door lickity split!! It appears Caylee was highly intelligent...great climber due to all the precautions Cindy took. I just can't see her NOT getting out of a locked car!!!

And for the cynics...if she were drugged...and left in the car...again...what are the fluids found in the trunk?

George and Casey have a very strange relationship.  Casey said on her Myspace page that she needed to be drunk to spend an entire day with Dad.  I think there is more going on here than LE are letting on.  George never saw Casey and Caylee leave the house on the 16th--way too much detail and a sefl-effacing smile and self-conscious attitude when telling that story.  So, Cindy went to work, Casey was at Tony's and George was alone in the house with Caylee.  What happened?

You have NO IDEA!!! the respect I have for you Klaas...always have had great respect for you...you know that..but to quit smoking...that takes CHARACTER!!!
