Casey's Chance To Leave Home, Decides Not To Attend Church

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony, the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee, did not attend church on Sunday morning as planned, even though it was a chance to leave her home.

Casey, the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee, woke up in her own bed Friday morning for the first time in over a month and it wasn't long before she left her parents' house for the first time since her release from jail.

Casey is now confined to her parent's home, except for some restricted movements such as visiting her attorney, something she did Friday. She left her home Friday morning and was gone for seven hours.

Casey spent that time at attorney Jose Baez's Kissimmee office. Details of what they discussed were not released.

After the seven-hour meeting, Casey left the office wearing sunglasses, a hood jacket pulled over her face and held up a towel to be sure she couldn't be seen. Her father walked her to a waiting black, Chevy HHR and was quickly driven away.

On Monday she'll report to the jail to meet with her case manager for her weekly visit.


BOUNTY HUNTER THINKS CASEY WILL TALK

California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who bonded Casey out of jail, parked a motor home in front of the family's house Thursday afternoon. He and two of his team members plan to talk to her in a couple of days about what happened to Caylee. Casey's attorney said he's told her not to talk to them.

"I believe she made a mistake, handed her daughter off and she is alive," said Padilla, who predicted his team would find Caylee within a week.

A $225,000 reward for Caylee's return has been posted anonymously.

Has anyone addressed the issue of Patrick Bourgeois, who visited Casey in jail even though she had no idea why he was there?  I read this today and if it is true, it is a little creepy.


Patrick Bourgeois. He told Casey that he had a message from "Mike." "Hold your head up high." That's what Casey supposedly whispered to her atty when they were about to leave jail, "I am innocent and want to walk out holding my head up high."

When Patrick started talking to Casey she asked to see his face. She acted as if she didn't remember him and then he mentioned "mike." Casey got quiet and not much else was said. Soon after that, Casey requested only family visitors

This is wrong.  You are not self-absorbed, you are holding an optimistic opinion right now where you have chosen to look for the good in someone else.  I don't agree with you at all (not for a nano second), but that doesn't mean that you are self-absorbed for the opinion that you have.  You and every other poster on this site has a right to an opinion and you have the right in this forum to express that opinion.  I am very sorry that someone has said this to you.  Besides, last night would have been pretty boring if you and Kristin had agreed with everyone else.  ::MonkeyWink::

I don't know who has been sending you critical emails, but it seems to me to be very unkind of someone to criticize you for the opinions you hold. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, IMO.

We all hope that Caylee is alive it's' just many of us look at the available information and don't see a positive outcome. For me, when I see people practically yelling that Caylee is alive and to trust what Casey says, it's almost as though they are defending Casey.  IMO, no matter what has happened to Caylee there is NO DEFENSE for Casey's actions....NONE.   Even IF Caylee is found alive I believe Casey should be put away for many years and definately lose custody.

So it's not that we don't want to find an ALIVE CAYLEE...we do.  It's just that for many of us the evidence doesn't point to a positive outcome for Caylee.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

I have been right where you are now...you know I wanted to believe Caylee was alive...I still do and when I was watching Geraldo last night i almost bounced back over to that side again.  Then I began to think about TES....they don't ask for money from the family...you have nothing to lose by getting thousands of people organized to help look for a child...I can not get past that one point. 

Padilla wants Caylee to be alive because it's in his best interest for her to be alive.  Baez wants Caylee alive for his client.  Anthony's want to prove the world is wrong and everyone is against them...but I can't get past TES not being invited by the family.

Hang in there! Your opinion has made me think long and hard about this case...that is a good thing.

I saw that Blonde, and actually had a glimmer of "like" for him! I was so enraged at Jose, that when he said something to the effect that he didn't care what "they" (meaning the Anthiony's and their atty) did or said, he was going on his own in a few days to find Caylee, I almost cheered! SOMEBODY around that house was saying something that put Caylee FIRST (in a few days, that is). He talked about a ping network that he was going to pay for. He and Jose are going to butt heads, and I'm on anyone's side that is making a run at Jose.

I'm sure the Anthony's wish he'd get on his horse and ride out of town. He also said the atty won't even let him speak with Casey, and he didn't seem too happy about it.

Klaas....I despise Casey the same as most of you do. I hope you all understand that!! If she wasn't such a pathological liar...Caylee would be home now...alive or not.

I think it is much more logical that Caylee is gone and that Casey is covering her azz...I do!!

But the girl is so freakin' bizarre...and such a darned sociopath...that I think the possibility that there is some truth in Caylee being alive is possible...slim but possible.

I am not asking anyone to buy it, just explore the possibility with me...to noodle out the slight possibility, that is all.

Thanks Cubbee...but I have to say this again...it is not my opinion that Caylee is still alive necessarily. I understand the chances of her being alive or kidnapped is slim to none. But I just have to explore the idea...just visit it to see if it is at all possible...until I know more.

My gut says she is gone like the rest of you...but there is also a part of me that says it is still POSSIBLE...slightly possible..she is not. I am just trying to explore that one chance in a million to see if it is any way a possibility.

An early jailhouse visitor from high school apparently. Casey didn't remember him, at least at first. It was one of those, "I sat behind Mike in algebra during fourth period" kinda things. I think he's a non-player who saw this on TV and got excited that he knew someone famous. So he visited to claim his minute of fame.

personally, I don't think Casey is smart enough to permanently disappear a body. So, if it's just her - the body will be found and I also think she is surprised that the body has not been found and it allows her to continue this charade. I believe she WAS setting up someone to take the fall.

One area that is intriguing is the part where she sets up someone she doesn't know too well. This is her second story involving Zenaida IMO. The first story was to set up some she knew VERY WELL. When the body was not discovered before the pictures she had to come up with plan B and that plan is not as well rehearsed as the first plan and it looks haphazard on the surface. It looks haphazard because it is - it's not the original plan. Zenaida and the Sawgrass apartments are not the first story Casey was going use.

When Casey says - "give me one more day" - that means to me that the body will be found shortly - well, at least according to Casey. Casey thinks that Caylee will be found and she is just waiting, 'one more day Mom and you will have the answer". Casey can not believe the body was not accidentally found, and she placed the body where it should have been found rather easily.

Now George is another story - he could theoretically disappear a body forever. He's way too shifty for my taste and leaves me with the impression his lies are more than skin deep.

George, on the surface when the case started, seemed like a guy who would have no reason to lie. As time has gone on he's become a much more sinister looking character. Normally there is a time period when posters and bloggers discover the inconsistencies in any case and then there is the time frame where the explanation for those inconsistencies become clear and are discovered to be mistakes by the posters, blogger, LE - etc. In George's case, the lies have become bolder and even more suspicious (if that's even possible at this point).

Exactly and everyone has choices...And I believe that no matter the outcome casey made the wrong choices...

This is the same scenario a family member of mine recently went through with another person that no one suspected could have murdered someone...guess what?  He did and he confessed. 

Hope no one thinks I feel any differently.

If they find Caylee after the trial does that mean they can not try her for murder?  She is only charged with lying and child neglect.  I think I have missed something.

I heard that too..Who goes to visit someone at jail, acting all suspicious and basically says keep quiet..

I am confused on that too Lala's .... last I knew a bunch of talking heads were in disagreement on that issue, so I am not sure how that works...

BTW... I have sent e-mails to Shep, Greta,Geraldo and Nancy Grace about the Anthony's dragging their asses and not contacting TES for their FREE services in helping to find Caylee..

Ldstlou, I'm still with you on a lot of things. I'm not venturing into George or Lee as daddy, because IMO, that really is speculation at this point and I don't see a real connection to where Caylee is at this moment. That's what I measure everything against.

The party pictures still cause a glitch in my spirit, but it's smaller than it was........If Casey disposed of Caylee, or handed her off to someone for Tony's sake, then she could party once she was gone. The accident scenario is the hardest for me to get my mind around with those pictures.

The smell in the car has always been THE piece I couldn't get away from, and frankly, I'm really cinfused about that. I want to see what the forensics say, but I do have some doubts about what the forensics will show.

And then, the TES thing last night just frosted my cookies, along with Jose doing his lawyer dance all over any effort to locate Caylee's whereabouts. That one took the cake. I believe everybody can take their time, write their books and do whatever to expose this crazy family, but the stuff that gets in the way of finding Caylee, alive or dead is intolerable. That's been a family decision and it points to Casey being protected over Caylee's circumstances. They are NOT that stupid or that dysfunctional. They know what they are doing on this one, IMO.

My understanding: If they charge her with murder without a body, that's the only shot they get. If her body is later found, and Casey has gotten off, it doesn't matter if Casey's fingerprints are all over Caylee's body, they cannot try her for murder again. They can pursue the neglect and lying charges and put her jail if she's found guilty of them and then if Caylee's body is found, charge her with murder. I'm sure that is what will happen if Caylee isn't found.

Sorry, but it is my opinion that the Anthony family does not deserve Caylee in their lives and Caylee certainly deserved better than what was given her. A child is a precious gift from God and should be loved and nurtured and protected above all else.Seems to me the Anthony's are protecting Casey...she is not a child anymore.Shame on them!

The stuff on Joseph Jordanson's(?)site is intriguing... the gas can and clothes look new, meaning gas can, garage kept and the clothes don't have much weather damage either, i hope if the sizes match up the le is checking it from every angle.  Casey being so transient with Caylee strikes me as having items in multiple places and would ditch stuff from various places after the fact...food for thought.

Last night I dreamed that while were on here  posting  All of a sudden Klaas postedBreaking News. Cnn is saying the real Zenaida has been located.

Then she goes on to say Zenaida lives at the sawgrass apartments. She is not the same Zenaida as was interviewed. LE is now saying they believe the child, Caylee is alive. They say Zenaida confirms she has been babysitting Caylee for a year and a half. She also says Caylee was stolen from her.

The next breaking news Klaas gives us is they have located Caylee and Caylee is no longer a little girl but has now had her hair cut like a boy and is being dressed as a boy. Then she says Oh my God they are now saying they have found a major child trafficking ring. Oh wow even Trenton Duckett is now found.

So until a body is located or Casey confesses I am still going to keep hoping and praying.

idstlou, it's a open house and the market sucks, im not sure where you are but our living is re also and its tough out there.

So Casey is enjoying Mom's food..... too bad Caylee can't enjoy some of that food...

I would certainly like to hear what is known about sex crimes.  This could turn this entire saga for me.  IF the poster is referring to George, (and I only gather that is who the poster meant because of the incest comment) I can see either of the 2 scenarios being discussed lately happening.  I can see Casey hiding her and I can also see someone else doing something more horrific to her to keep her silent.  JMO  Either way the suggestion of even a sex crime happening at all makes me totally sick.  That poor, poor little baby.

Now I am curious about a couple of things. There is so much being posted on here alleging George being involved in Incest with his daughter. So I would like to take a sort of poll.

What if george deliberately reported the wrong sizes.....

Follow me lets say he had a 5 gallon and  a 2 gallon...They are used in CAYLEE'S DISAPPEANCE and are thrown away....

He reports he has a  2 1/2 gallon and a 1 1/4 gallon stolen..Buys new ones matching those sizes and returns them to the shed stating casey stole them and he found them in her trunk..

That way if gas cans are found, like the one at Jay blanchard park, that was a 5 gallon no one is any wiser..Because it does not match the size he reported..

I was wondering if it would be possible for someone, maybe the DA in OPrange County, to go to court to request that a guardian ad litem be appointed for Caylee.  If appointed, this person could then request that TES enter the case since it appears that her closest relatives have no interest in a real, genuine, search for her and IMO little interest in finding her, alive or dead.

George really annoys me with his odd facial tics and his inappropriate body movements. 

That should, of course, be Orange county.  My fingernails sometimes hit the wrong keys.

There is NOTHING in that girl and how she has lived her life...a life in my mind...that was truly blessed!!...worth defending...nothing.

I am sorry if anyone got that from my posts...I would NEVER offend myself nor the Monkeys by trying to defend ay of her actions!!

My point I keep trying to make is...knowing she is a sociopath...anything is possible.

I mean we all KNEW joran was responsible for Natalee's dissappearance...WE KNEW THAT!!!  no ifs, ands or butts.

But we also explored every possoble scenario as to what he did with our Natalee....date rape drug that killed her...rape and murder, sold her into sexual slavery, handed her off to people at a Rave, sold her to pay off gambling debts...every scenario possible we explored it.

I am just trying to do the same here with Caylee...nothing more nothing less.

I know she is responsible for that little angels dissappearance...I know she is a sociopath and deserves to be locked away.

I just want to explore every possibility as to what happened to Caylee and where she is.

sam, i don't think george has a damn thing to do w/this.  i have thought he was clueless from the get go and only repeats what boss cindy tells him to say. hey he is after all the only one out there actually lookin and putting the word out. yeah being in the birthing room is a little creepy, but i hav a relative who had #6 in the liv rm w/ the whole family present....some people are just not modest about there stuff. 

mixst the amount of gas he reported missing does not match either...didn't he say like 50 worth that's way more than any 3-4 gallons of gas, but it could include gas can value and gas?

My mum was molested by her father...  I dont think that this case has any acts of incest or molestation involved.

Thanks for a response FatCat. In response to George being there for the birth of Caylee and cutting the cord. This does not mean he had to see Casey's bottom. I used to work delivery. They usually lay the baby on the Moms abdominal area after birth so George would have done the cord cutting from above..

Larry, I have left numerous messages for the Anthony Family on their answering machine.  I have expressed to them the importance of getting Texas Equi Search involved.  I have also expressed our interest in helping their family locating Caylee early on, all to NO RESPONSE.  Why would your "CLIENT" ignore people wanting to help them find Caylee?

Our group has distributed many flyers, knocked on doors, and searched wooded areas.  Based on what has already been found and the people we have spoken with, the family has indicated to a close inside source to the family that we are a threat to them.  Why in the world would you consider a group trying to locate your grandaughter a threat?  Unless they believe we are a threat to Casey Anthony?

If Casey did not do this... who did?  Why would Casey Anthony protect someone who performed a SEX CRIME on her?  Would you be open to having someone trained in sexual assault intervention speak with Casey.  Maybe she was sexually assaulted as well?  It is not uncommon for the abused to protect the abuser, even at the expense of their own children.  This is very common in the incest cases we deal with on a day to day basis.

I think the Anthonys' won't call Tim Miller because Tim would need to question the family first to get some background information for a starting point.  The Anthonys' can't tell Tim anything because then all their lies would start to unravel and the whole bunch would probably end up in jail.  For the life of me, I can't figure out why they haven't already been charged with obstruction.

Kippy , I am reading your response as I type. It was not you I had directed the earlier post to. So Joseph Jordan is also saying either Caylee or Casey was sexually abused. I wonder where he is getting his info.

I will say however, I believe George is involved. To what extent- i don't know. Those gas cans are a huge red flag and questions surrounding them have only been exaserbated by George.

As I said last night, George being in law enforcement, would know to throw out red herrings to divert the case off of Casey. For example- try NY, NC, and the Smokey Mountains. Eric Rudolph evaded capture for years in the mountains. George is the one wise enough to choose a name like Zenaida Fernandez- Gonzalez, odd enough to make people think, must be a true name no one invents a name like that.

Using these two studies, then, as the most accurate we have to date, one finds that either 38 percent (Russell) or 45 percent (Wyatt) of women interviewed reported memories of familial and/or extrafamilial sexual abuse during their childhood, almost half of which was directly incestuous.

The circumstances of these seductions have been documented in the large clinical literature on molestation, only a portion of which can be summarized here. Russell found that "most perpetrators lived under the same roof as their victims." Most (85 percent) of the perpetrators were at least five years older than their victims. Of incest cases with females, uncles accounted for 25 percent of the perpetrators, followed in frequency by fathers (15 percent), brothers (12 percent) and stepfathers (8 per-cent). Women commit incest more rarely - at least in America - although the number may be larger than realized since studies of boys in early childhood are so sketchy (studies have found many mothers quite seductive toward their children even when they were being observed in a laboratory situation).

Even when the actual perpetrator isn't a relation, the parent or guardian is somehow implicated in at least 80 percent of the cases. Patrick Bourgeois isn't a tattoo artist, Mike Walker supposedly is. And I thought it was an entirely different Mike Walker than is being suggested. There are two Mike Walker's on Casey's myspace, though I might be mistaken. One is white, and a tattoo artist (and I think he just "goes" by Mike Walker, not sure that it is his real name) and there is an african american Mike Walker. I don't know if he is a tattoo artist at all, maybe he is. But he is the one connected with Patrick Bourgeois, per Patrick mentioning him.

Sawgrass Apts is very close to Full Sail University where many kids go to learn Media/Entertainment. This complex houses many students learning this field. I'm not surprised to see this crowd frequent this particular complex.

In regards to Casey's conversation with Cindy about Cindy's cameos, I've always found it interesting that she said that she "doesn't know what her involvement is", which implies that she is involved, but that Cindy doesn't know to what extent she is.  

She didn't say that she doesn't know IF Casey is or was involved.

A Big Development
On August 6, it was announced that the Arrest Affidavit had specified the wrong date for the Sawgrass Apartments visit by the Zanaida Gonzalez whom police had already ruled out.  It turns out that the hastily-scribbled date (allegedly filled out by the leasing agent, not the visitor) actually read "6"/17, NOT "4"/17 as originally believed.  The 6 looked like a 4.

This was huge news.  June 17.  Not April.  The implications reverbated across the airwaves and Internet.  That meant that a woman going by the name of Zanaida Gonzalez visited the apartments two days after -- not two months before -- Caylee was last seen.

But it turns out it could not have been Casey, using a false ID, who visited as ZFG.  Sawgrass Apartments staff confirmed that they do not know Casey, do not recognize photos of Casey or Caylee, and in fact think they DO recognize the photo of the Zanaida Gonzalez that LE originally contacted, who says she is the one who visited the Sawgrass apartments.  How did Casey get her name?  Did she peek at the card somehow?  Did she maybe get inside the woman's car and see personal information while ZG was touring the apartment? Could she have somehow overheard the woman's name, followed her, known someone who knows her?  What a mystery!

This woman told a news reporter that her life has been ruined by the notoriety this case has brought to her.  She is even having trouble getting a job.  Bet she wishes right now her name was anything but Zanaida Gonzalez.

In an interview with Channel 6, the Zanaida Gonzales stated that she does not know Casey or her friends, and wishes everyone would just leave her alone.   

*** Possibly important:  In this interview, Zanaida stated that she lost her ID sometime earlier in the year, maybe in March.  She thought she put it in her purse, and it just disappeared; she had to get a duplicate ID made.  ***


So Casey:  Why Unit 210?
I haven't confirmed this, but it has been reported that at Sawgrass, Unit 212 is kept vacant and set up as the demo unit; this would be the apartment that is set aside to show to prospective tenants.  Unit 212 would presumably be just adjacent to 210, which is the long-vacant unit Casey identified as Zanny's place.

On whitepages, I did a reverse address search of the Sawgrass Apartments address as shown in the Arrest Affidavit.  I found a business listing for "Society Entertainment."  Hmm?  That's odd.  At an apartment complex?  On the company's website, the CEO of Society Entertainment is listed as "Derrick 'Casanova' Williams."  Well, wouldn't you know it:  whitepages shows a Derrick Williams living at Sawgrass Apartments, too.  His unit number?

Maybe a mistake.  Maybe there's a reasonable explanation.  But it does raise an eyebrow, as the website for Society Entertainment, and the myspace profile for Derrick Williams look very familiar to those of us who have closely followed and done our own amateur sleuthing.  Derrick's sites share many elements with so many others we have encountered in Casey's wider circle of friends and acquaintances, in Orlando and elsewhere:  Music and the music business, bands, promotion, "entertainment," wealth or the appearance of it, flash, hip glamour, clubs, posing, sexy hot chicks, partying, gangsta talk, the quest for popularity, attention, fame, VIP status.  Looks like a possible connection.
