I’m getting into this conversation a little late…I apologize, but I can understand George losing it a little (or a lot) at that particular time. Caylee  missing… Casey on home monitoring…Cindy pinching, pushing, glaring, and talking over him. The crowd outside his home occasionally turning into a near lynch mob, and this bounty hunter’s associate living with him like she thinks she's Casey's good twin!

Two Caseys in the house! OMG. They both roam the house using other people’s computers and taking what they want from the fridge/ freezer. One thinks the credit line is unlimited, and the other thinks the air conditioning is unlimited!

In other words, George would really have been on edge then. He KNEW LP’s associate was in that house to find out anything she could about Caylee’s disappearance. As Klaas said, it was a deal with the devil for George. He was probably afraid he’d talk in his sleep and wake up to find Ms Bounty Sitter propped up on the pillow beside him, taking notes.

All kidding aside, I would imagine that sliding door represented the last bit of privacy George could cling to; it being constantly opened by a stranger probably made him feel extremely exposed. No peace, no sanctuary, no rest. His castle was under siege and the drawbridge kept falling open.

The above is of my own imagining.  I make no claim to knowing what is, or ever was, in any Anthony’s thoughts at any time. My umbrella is up; rotten-spot banana rain expected.

I agree with you.  I can't think of any other circumstances where you'd have a rude stranger in your home but the tension in that house had to have been sky high even without a rude stranger.  It's a wonder something really bad didn't happen during that time.

I respectfully disagree...i see NO excuses for George or Cindy for that matter. They helped create this monster and they continue to cover up and hide for her. The lady in the house was doing THEM a favor by being there. Princess Pants On Fire should have been in jail where she belongs -instead of home on her puter on myspace. And George claims he has been searching 24/7 for Caylee. This just proves another lie on George.  IF Cindy and George were out searching for Caylee none of this would have happened.

I can't even remember now - what was even the point of having that woman in the house ? 
I don't see what Treehouse posted as an excuse for George's behavior as much as a reason, if that makes sense, which is why I agree with his post. But I see what you mean as well.

Most of us agree that she should have been in jail, however she was bonded out legally, and in many instances accused persons stay out of jail all during trial.

I have to say I think George has displayed an enormous anout of self control.  Given just the known facts, how many of you/me would have not lost it a time or two by now.  I would have to be completely sedated.

I am not defending him, I am just being honest!! 

I've never known quite what to think of George. I do believe he has lied and/or told half-truths. In the beginning, I even wondered if he did something with Caylee and set Casey up to take the fall. The reason I thought that was because he seemed so eager to catch the detectives on July 15th/16th and tell them that Casey was not being truthful. I had read about this in the 400 page doc right after reading how Amy, Tony L, Jesse, Sean Daly, et al., had all called the detectives on their own to make a statement, that statement being mainly that Casey lies. Alot.

As Casey's silence wore on, I found it hard to believe anyone but Casey to be responsible for Caylee's disappearance. And, honestly, George and Cindy's demeanor has added to my belief. Cindy does appear to me to be in complete denial of reality. George, however, always seems to qualify his statements that Caylee is alive, by shrugging, batting puppy dog eyes, and adding, "We have to have hope."  The way he says that phrase causes me to believe that he is merely putting on a brave face; he does know, and can probably admit to someone he trusts, that he believes Caylee is dead. Cindy can't do that, imo.

If there was a fight between the two women with Cindy choking Casey, I think it is entirely possible that Casey repeated that behavior with Caylee. IMO, Caylee was too little to break away and there was no one around to haul Casey off of her.

Me as well. I would have been yelling at everyone. JMHO

My beautiful bright son was raised by a complete sociopath for the first 8 years of his short little life.  He is only 12.  He is either lien, cryen or denyen!!  We have spent an enormous amout of time, effort and money trying to undo the damage from his bio-mom.

Although I try to be the perfect mom, there are times that I fail miserably!!  It is not easy to be lied to and manipulated all the time.  I have to admit, there are times that I will just look the other way.  I have to for my own sanity.  I also do not want to hurt his self asteem.  If I called him out everytime, the poor kid would would never leave the house.

There are times that I am tired, stressed, or just plain sick of it and I don't have the patience that I should or wished I could have at that particular time.

Someday, you just may see my in front of my house with a hammer in my hand.  I would try and get the truth from him, of course!  Not always an easy task!  I would not lie for him, but I would not turn my back on him either!! 

I think Cindy is a nut and the nut didn't didn't fall too far from the tree!  But even if she wasn't - I do not know what she could of done to change or help Casey.
(I am saying this only if incest did not exist, if it did then I will change my opinion 100% and be far more willing to blame her for Casey)

Until proven otherwise, I don't think it's Lee. Yes, I know that incest is nothing new (unfortunately), but just the thought of sex between siblings sickens me.

We all know that Casey is very promiscuous. She's had many sexual partners, and some of these partners have said that it was unprotected sex . We also know, that she's had several different men, during the same month.  Cyndi testified that one was a "One night stand" (at least one believable statement from Cyndi). My guess is, that there were many such encounters. This being said, I'm not to sure even if it would be possible for Casey to know who the real father of Caylee is. The father could even be someone that Casey has only met, and seen once, and knows only him by his first name. Heck...she may even have forgotten that as well.

Afternoon everyone...Ive been scrubbing the house and doing laundry since the coffee kicked in.  Must be nice to lounge around the monkey board all day...lol! 
I dont think Dr. G will be called as an expert witness unless she does the autopsy of Caylee so its so important Caylee is found.  I wish I lived in Florida to go help.  I think its great that companys aare getting employees together to help search.  I wonder what the most searchers Tim Miller has had in one day.

Colt, I am hoping you are right.  This is my belief too!!  I maybe justt naive or in denial but the thought of incest sickens me!  Also, I fear if Lee is the father - will people look at Caylee differently.  People can be cruel and just plain ignorant!  I don't want poor little Caylee picked apart.  I f that makes sense.

Dr Baden was on Fox news yesterday explaining the DNA results and he said tha Caylee's father is known as a result of these tests,but LE did not release that information.   So,it has to be someone local?  At least someone they were expecting to be a good candidate. I wish that info would "leak".

When Casey was initially charged and thrown in the slammer, she was charged with child neglect and lying to authorities.

The bond was set at $500,200. That is not the type of bond associated with child neglect or lying to authorities. That would have been 50k and she would have posted 5000 dollars and been out.

The reality was she was being held on second degree homicide.[/b] It just could not be proven at that time because there was no body. They all know Caylee was dead, but how. Was it an accident or a murder?

I have said that this was all intentional and I *think* I was the first to make that determination. I wasn't going out on a limb and making a bold statement. I just go where the facts take me, and this was easy to see. I clearly said that Casey killed her daughter and this was no accident.

When Casey was indicted she received a capital indictment, we all know that. That means that Casey is facing the death penalty should the jury or judge convict her and the jury or judge hand down the ultimate punishment.

With her capital / murder one indictment she is in jail and no amount of money or bond will spring her. Murder one cases do not get bond to my knowledge and I can not remember the last time I saw a case where it happened.

While Casey was out on bond, I felt that she should have been in jail the entire time and not out and about jerking everyone's chain.

With the return of the indictment the grand jury agreed with me, and saw and heard evidence that Casey killed her daughter. Intentionally.

She should have never been out in the first place.

I agree with this post, however, I think her parents should be there with her.  They owned the car, had it in their possession, it was cleaned out with chemicals after they called the police to say it "smelled like a damn dead body"  therefore, they knowlingly messed with evidence - off with their heads!!!!!!

I agree with you on this point. I don't think Casey has a clue in the world who the daddy is. I suggest Florida have a separate line on voting day for all the men in Orange county aged 20 25 for potential fathers to have their DNA taken.  JMO but I don't think Lee is the daddy, an accomplice maybe, but daddy, I just can't see that.

She was arrested pretty soon, before they knew the facts.
Casey held the key to where Caylee was. Her lying was why the high bail. They didn't want her leaving the area, committing suicide, or messing with the evidence.
The prime motivation from the beginning was to recover Caylee. And OCSD did all they could to make that happen.

Awwwww, but she was soooo happy hanging out with Jose 6 hrs a day!!  What a joke!!

In my opinion-Caylee's death wasn't an accident. And LE knew it on day one (sorry i couldn't resist).  i don't think that Casey should have been bonded out either. i think LP thought he was helping the situation-but he wasn't. He was played badly by the Anthony's. i couldn't imagine spending $50,000 to bail someone out of jail and then have that person tell me to get the HELL outta her house. George and Cindy could have put a stop to that-but they didn't. i wish they were all in jail. i believe they are at least knee deep after the fact.

I believe that Cindy's control was the glue that fragilely held that family together!!

Rather than giving George and Casey "chance after chance" ... it is too bad that Cindy did not get custody of Caylee and ... bailed.

i agree with both of you... from the start it seemed her bail was high... she should have never been out of jail.

Unless you have the person on tape or caught in the act it's sometimes hard to charge someone with murder one even though that is the belief of LE.

Janet, I left my assessment of Cindy's online post about My Caylee Is Missing on another thread.  I see it as being chockful of control issues...just my opinion.  Cindy deserves credit for working and trying to hold the family together and for forgiving...if she really did forgive.  But if she constantly held things over people's heads, that sort of negates any good intentions.  If you forgive, you have to forget as well.  If you give support and money, you have to give it freely without a lot of strings attached, or it will be resented.

However ... my family dynamics have ups and downs just like any other family.  I do not have all the answers.   Our kids have made my hubby and I proud and ... they have also humbled us.  I am opinionated concerning my position on issues but ... believe me ... I have been proved wrong time and time again.

As I said in a previous post ... you are required to be a fly on the wall of a home before you can judge the dynamics within that home.

In other words ... I truthfully post but ... I concede that my posts do not necessarily tell the whole story.

I think the Anthony's told him that Casey would talk..i knew she wouldn't.  i am happy that he is goin to help Tim. It should be an awesome sight to see thousands of people actually search for Caylee. She deserves to be found..and to have a proper burial.

For the record Rob, I don't "think" you're the only person that believes that Casey intentionally killed her daughter, I have never said one way or the other. I do know a female sociopath & she is fully capable of deliberate murder. I base my opinion on the evidence & personal experience. I do believe that Casey killed Caylee because she was enraged over what had happened with her mother. But until the trial & we all find out positively, I will reserve the kudos. In Spector's case you have bullet trajectory alone as the main piece of forensics and Spector running out of the house and saying he thinks he killed someone. He doesn't say "I intentionally killed someone", just that he may have killed someone. That's negligent homicide. (For the record, I think he's a nut and was going to kill someone sooner or later)

And with Blake all you would have there is gun powder residue on his hands...the fact that Bonnie was killed and had a bullet to the right side of her head and was sitting in the passenger side of the car makes it impossible for someone have been in the driver's seat and shot her on the right side. So the bullet came from outside of the car near the passenger side door. It's hard to know the intent here. He could have just driven her to a secluded place and killed her and dumped her. But he takes her to dinner and then kills her after - that's hard to prove pre-mediation.

Although I wrote the assessment of Cindy's My Caylee Is Missing post, Janet is right when she says that one has to be a fly on the wall to know exactly what goes on in a family.

Cindy appears to be the one who "takes people back" after they have betrayed her.  She decides who has misbehaved or they confess to her or she finds out by snooping or tracking them down.  Discovery is followed by all Hell breaking loose and Cindy making threats and playing the wounded and hurt party.  They eventually apologize and beg her forgiveness and promise to change.  She is still angry and hurt.  But then she gives the offender another chance. 

And once she has taken the person back, they can do no wrong in her eyes.  Until the next time they let her down.

It is a pattern.  I think patterns are established in many relationships and the same cycles are repeated over and over.  Cindy is often well-intentioned, I am sure.

But over and over the same drama is played out in the family.  Now it is out of the family circle and beyond their control.

KatGram, a neighbor will testify to hearing a loud argument on Father's Day.

Cindy's post online indicates that Casey left with the child unexpectedly and that Cindy had no idea where they were.  It also cites "jealousy" as the cause of Casey leaving. 

Cindy told Amy and other friends of Casey that Casey had lied to her, stolen from her and that the car smelled like a dead body.

The 911 calls show that Casey and Cindy had some serious issues, and Cindy is heard saying she wanted her daughter arrested for "grand theft," that the car smelled like a dead boy and that Casey will not tell her where her granddaughter is.  Cindy says, "Something is wrong."  Cindy can also be heard saying that she may get custody of Caylee.

Tony and his roommate will testify that Cindy demanded Casey leave with her and said to them that Casey would empty their bank accounts if they were not careful.

Lee told police that his mom and Casey had been having problems and jealousies relating to Caylee.

Cindy may try to rewrite family history, but it is a bit late for that.

I keep hearing that LE knows the name of the father of Caylee but has not released it.

They can only know by matching dna.

So they must have found out who was with Casey during that critical period when Caylee was conceived.

Or several men may have come forward and suggested they might be the father and provided dna.

If the father is still alive, you would think that he would want to know that his child is missing, and he would have a right to know.

I think it may be the Marine out in California.

Cindy would not want a serviceman to be the father, because that might mean that Casey and Cayleigh would be leaving Orlando and following him around the world.

Or it could be her own brother, as some have suggested, which would really explain the intense secrecy concerning the father and the lack of denials from the Anthony family or Lee himself, though this rumor has been floating around for a while.

Hi Angora, I am not sure who this question is for.  But yes Colt has befriended GA and I have only talked with one "family member."  However, a friend of mine has talked and met with many of the key players in this tragedy.  She has respected their privacy though.

Kiomarie said that Casey wanted to give the baby up for adoption but Cindy would not allow it.  Another friend, a male, said that he heard Casey considered adoption but Cindy talked her out of it.

I don't know about all this Hudsunn..I have my doubts that Casey ever begged Cindy for an ounce of forgiveness.I think she simply used Caylee as the most powerful weapon she had and used it time and time again.Cindy loving Caylee as she did,would rather tolerate Casey's abuse rather than not seeing Caylee.Casey was given much but even that wasn't enough as she then stole from the very one that was doing all the giving.Casey herself said she was a "spiteful bitch" which only proves that she knew her weapon of choice was Caylee and it was indeed powerful..

IF Lee is the father of Caylee, it does explain a lot of other things.

It explains why there is no name on the birth certificate.

It explains why they have lied about the identity of the father.

It explains why they have been so intensely secretive about the father.

It explains why they never asked for any type of support, even if he died and they were entitled to social security.

But I still do not know if it is true.

Hudsunn.... with the exception of the child being missing and the mother being charged with murder my neice has done all of the above regarding the father of her son. We have spent many hours trying to figure out who the daddy was...finally figured out he was a married man...

Robert Blake was charged with murder with special circumstances, lying in wait.  Judge denied bail repeatedly in the beginning but finally granted it.

If it does prove to be Lee,it will only show further the depravity of this woman Casey as she was no child when she conceived so it would be my opinion she was bedding him willingly.I doubt any of this highly but if it's true,it will go against her,not for her!jmo

Ok...here is my thoughts (flame suit on), and Rob...please take it easy on me.

Casey is a coward. Cowards lie. Casey is very insecure, and this shows in the way she acts. She is always looking/seeking acceptance from here peers. Her many sexual encounters help bolster her self worth. In many of the pictures, or personal videos, it seem that she's screaming "Look at me". Even with pictures taken with Caylee, she wants to be the one noticed. I believe her friends when they say she's like a "chameleon". This is her way of forming acceptance with those around her.

Did she kill, with premeditation? No, I don't think so. Was it an accident? Again, no. Unfortunate accidents do happen, without the fault of another. Was it gross negligence on Casey's part that Caylee died? 100% for sure.

I come to this opinion, because Casey's a coward, and I don't think this coward could kill her child on purpose. I think she did something really stupid, that caused the death of Caylee. The reason she didn't just call 911 at the time of Caylee's death? Once again, because she's a coward. And how would her friends think about her once they find out that her negligence caused her daughters death? Her insecurities would not allow this. The thought of others thinking badly of her, was far more important than the now dead Caylee. The mother/daughter bond never really happened, and I think Cyndi was more of a mother to Caylee, than Casey was. Because of this non bonding  between Casey and Caylee, it made the disposing of Caylee body, and the cover up on what really happened to her, just that much easier for her. Casey is a coward without a conscience. And she not very bright, and her lies proves this point.

Now for the Chloroform. Was it used against Caylee? In my opinion...No, it was not. Chloroform as we have learned (and I have known), is a great solvent and cleaner. It's been stated, that the trunk was very well cleaned. Cleaned by someone knowledgeable? A Homicide Investigator (George?) would certainly know what CSI would be looking for in the back of the trunk. A lay person would have used household cleaners in the trunk area. However, someone with much more experience, would use something much more effective....Chloroform. This is why Chloroform was found in the trunk. I've never seen Chloroform in any hardware stores, so I guess someone in the Anthony's home had to Google the recipe. The time line (if known), will be most important in determining if the searches for Chloroform was before, or after Caylee's death.

We have not heard from Lee since he was forced via subpoena to give up his DNA.  The family has given so many stories either directly or indirectly as to who the real father is now and over the years.  As LP is doing, I am waiting for final confirmation when Lee's DNA comes back.  I found it odd, as I have no real knowledge on the specifics of DNA, that Dr. Haden could say that they know who the father is by reading the latest release on the FBI/body farm report.  Apparently, there is something specific in that report that alludes to the father.  In discussions around the web, there is a marker that when elevated it relates to potential incestuous.  No matter how uncomfortable it is for some to even fathom, incest is very prevalent.  In a study out of Arizona, 1 in 8 females were abused sexually and half of those or 1 in 16 women have had abuse from either a brother or father.  In addition to that study, many violent offenders in prison, as much as 80 percent, have experienced sexual abuse as a youngster or teen.  Most sexual abuse within the family is never reported, and that figure is as high as 60%.  Families don't want the dirty laundry to leave the front door I guess.

I tend to agree with you! I think Casey knew how to play the game.  But I do think she used Caylee to.

The fisrt time Casey was caught stealing from her grandmother (2 times in total) was on Casey 2nd birthday.  It was like $50.00.  She did apolgize and offered to clean and do yard work, etc.  She did try to make "ammends."  I know this has not been reported but it a true post.

I in no way imply that one should, or should not, feel empathy for George.
 In my opinion, that sliding door could have represented a fragile self-perservtion defense for George. His self-reported attitude toward LP’s associate’s opening of the door could be interpreted as his “fight or flight” reaction kicking in. This would be an automatic (and I might add, a natural) response to stress.  

I would imagine that sliding door represented the last bit of privacy George could cling to; it being constantly opened by a stranger probably made him feel extremely exposed.

OK ... the adoption issue.

Kiomare Torres Cruz ... Casey's friend gives a statement that offered to adopt Caylee but ... after initially agreeing ... Casey claims her mother would not allow it.

My take ...

1.  Cindy was thing of the well-being of the baby ... her grandchild.  She recognized that Kiomare Torres Cruz ... Casey's friend ... was no more ready to handle the responsibilities of motherhood than Casey.

I believe this would have been my reaction if my daughter at the age of 19 years old was considering giving up her baby for adoption to a friend.


2.  Casey was lying to Kiomare Torres Cruz when she claimed her mother would not allow the baby to be adopted.

Think about it.  Caylee lied to Amy about George having a stroke to justify why she could not go on that trip.


3.  Then again ... maybe it was to much for Cindy to comprehend that she would not be part of her grandchild's life and ... was pressuring Casey not to give up her baby.

I think I an relate.

Another point ... there was only two months between the time Cindy and George were aware that Casey was pregnant and ... Caylee was born.  The acceptance and the choices must have been overwhelming.

The documents show a pregnant Casey Anthony, who gave birth to Caylee when she was 19, considered offering the child for adoption.

Kiomare Torres Cruz, Casey Anthony’s friend from middle school through high school, said she once offered to take and care for Caylee because doctors told her she couldn’t have kids of her own. But Cruz said Cindy Anthony wouldn’t have it.

“I said … ‘I’m strongly considering adopting the baby from you.’ (Casey Anthony) said, ‘That’s a good idea,”’ Cruz said in a police transcript. “But then she called me back saying that her mom pretty much has told her that no, she needs to keep the baby and that she’s not giving it up for adoption. Even though she really did not want to have the baby.”

When police were chasing the nanny story and grabbing the phone from Tonys house, they didn't really investigate the car at that point if I have it down right.  They got the car later.  In the interim, Cindy washed clothes from the car, cleaned a knife from the car, and certainly had time to clean the car for evidence as well.

Remember at the bond hearing when Cindy looked at Casey and said "there is no evidence"?  Remember her father giving her the thumbs up and Casey smiled?  They were circling the wagons behind her.  Around that time Lee calls her in jail and asks her if everything is okay to be trusted on people and things still?  She responded something like, yes to her knowledge, but he would obviously know if it weren't?   hmmmmm

Mr. Chuck, first let me say this, I have no problem with you. None what so ever. You're entitled to your opinions just as everyone else here is. Mr. Chuck, I don't hold grudges. I, personally, have never sought out the companionship if Anita Van Der Sloot or her criminal husband. That's just me. You feel a need to befriend George, that's your business, just know people wonder why...

I do disagree with some of your previous assessments of George, but that will all be known in the future. We will all know what George did or knew somewhere down the road.

I actually agree with some of your post. I agree that the chloroform is a cleaning agent here. I agree that someone needs in depth knowledge to know that. Someone needs a back ground or blind luck.

I do think Casey is pretty savvy, maybe not book smart, but savvy. She knows how to manipulate the system she is in and how to get the most bang for her buck. I don't see her as a coward, but more like someone who doesn't like owning up to her mistakes. But, again, that's not all that uncommon.

And I do disagree that it's an accident or neglect that led to Caylee's death. The grand jury also rejected that and clearly stated the evidence they saw and heard pointed to premeditation. That GJ came back in record time and didn't take long to decide. It must have been very compelling. Now, we all know you can indict a ham sandwich, but in this case, the GJ moved to come back with the indictment so fast my head was spinning. There must be several key pieces of evidence that can not be considered anything but what they are - murder.

I believe HH mentioned that she thought/heard it was a family member, but not GA or LA. Did anyone ever determine if there were other relatives that they socialized with during that time period?

I find it amazing that she called 911 twice from the home when protesters were arguing with George and Cindy which was in a way cowardly or fearful yet bold.  Her demand that they come "right now" was interesting as she seems to have the yearn to control like Cindy.  I also find it strange that she had the gall to walk right up to a teller and write herself a check off her friends account and previously went to target writing checks without a care in the world off that account.  Cowards do have strange tendencies though and both of them were cowardly in a way, yet rather bold.

I believe what you described about Casey show's she is true sociopath!  She had been lying for years to everyone!!  With alot of effort and details.   She has no conscience.  She used people for he own benefit and all people were expandable including her own child.

IDK, Cindy seemed so possessive of Caylee that I would think she wouldn't want another Grandmother on the scene, stealing Caylee's attention away from her. I wonder how Cindy reacted to the Grund family taking care of HER baby, especially Jesse's mother. She probably right away accepted KC's of IDK or him dying, leaving her as the center of Caylee's world. I also don't see it outside the realm of LE asking for DNA samples from the boys who came in to give statements. They would then have it on hand for comparison on Caylee's DNA.

I have never heard a thing regarding Jesse's mother.

The problem with all the years of lying is that it started belatedly.  Ryan turned against her when Cindy called him to tell him Casey was a sociopath.  They shared stories and I think he was rather shocked that a friend, seemingly a best friend, had lied so much to him for the past 4 or 5 years.  They had been friends for years and as they got older he thought she was rather competitive and a one upper, but beyond that he thought she might tell a white lie or two.  She was described in high school as shy, quiet, and a good student.  No problems.  When she dropped out suddenly it shocked people.  When she denied being pregnant, people looked the other way.  When she had Caylee she went at worked at a Kiosk for Kodak.  She started sleeping around even more than she had after Caylee was conceived.  She abandoned her job, and somehow was able to afford anywhere from 500 to 1200 a month for a cell phone, a car, clothes, and baby essentials beyond her parents help.  Who contributed?  Lee?

Caylee never had a chance to work so what SS would she have been entitled to???  Death Benefits are only about $200.00, not worth fighting for.  I wonder if the Anthonys could sue their own daughter for "loss of affection".  If they could they probably would.

Thanks Janet, but these documents are made up of the interviews.  Kio's interview was part of these documents.  I just think Jesse or his father would have confirmed this by now.  IMO, It is not true.  I believe Casey wanted a baby!!

I have told this story before but ... I sincerely believe it needs repeating.

The single eighteen year old daughter of friends of ours became pregnant after a romatic encounter with a young man from another province while working at Banff one summer.  The relationship ended prior to the summer assignment.  After arriving home and ... starting university ... daughter told her parents that she was expecting.

Right or wrong and ... I think it was wrong ... no attempt was ever made to get in touch with the father or his family.  The reasoning ... it would complicate the lives of daughter and grandaughter.  Today this young women is happily married with two more children and ... the object of her summer romance seven years prior does not have a clue.

My point ... the underlying reason for Caylee's father not being identified may not have anything to do with an incestuous relationship ... especially when you consider Casey's many sexual encounters.  It could be just an attempt to keep the father ... for various reasons ... out of Caylee's life.

Casey stole Kiomarie's existence as her own.  Kiomarie was going to school that Casey lied about going to school at for instance.  A lot of the ZG story, including the children's names and vehicle seem to relate to Kiomaries life.  Jealousy perhaps.  Envy more likely.  Narcissistic people do that.  Steal other people's stories and life's stories from those they envy.

I think I am coming across as a total know it all b.
Not my intention, I read everyone's posts ( and think about what others have said or what they believe ) and I think that it's just this particular story with all of the anger against Cindy, Casey and the entire sordid situation that is making me cranky. 
Plus the fact that I too have 2 Grandchildren who I love more than my own life and could not see myself behaving in any of the ways these creeps have.

Dr. Baden did specify that forensic DNA testing of the strands of hair could determine the paternity but ... according to the released report ... only Mitochondrial DNA testing was conducted.  Mitochondrial DNA testing  does not reveal anything about the paternity ...

However ... if DNA testing went further than Mitochondrial ... the paternity could be confirmed but ... it is my understanding ... the father's DNA would be required.  Consider the Lee Anthony's DNA was only taken not even a couple of weeks ago ...

QUESTION: It would not be as effective now as it was when the cadaver dog alerted to it and the detective and the grandma said they smelled the decomposition. There was also some stains there. See, the air will dissipate over time, whereas the stain that was there would still be there. And if it were decomposition fluid or blood, that can be identified. And that's better than just the odor because you can do DNA on a stain and see if it came from Casey (SIC).

VAN SUSTEREN: I suppose...

BADEN: Or the baby.

VAN SUSTEREN: I supposed that it wouldn't necessarily be that either one would necessarily be conclusive, but it's sort of the combination would certainly be more persuasive than standing alone.

KC being savvy as described previously could have easily gotten an abortion long before her 7 mo discovery. I think she wanted the baby for the attention it would give her. But is any 19 yr old fully aware of the responsibility that it takes to raise a child? I know I wasn't prepared! I thinks she was nervous about telling Cindy, but after that was done there is baby shower, people oooing and ahhing over you, questioning about baby names, lots and lots of attention. Then after the baby is born, the attention goes toward the baby, not the mother. In regards to Kiomarie, if KC did envy her life but Kio couldn't get pregnant, it was a way to push her face in it that KC could get pregnant w/o trying and Kio couldn't. You want to adopt my baby? ...Let me think about it..... Well, no my Mom wouldn't like it..... too bad for you!!..

Colt, I too know someone who met the Anthony's when Caylee first went missing.  She helped on 2 different occasions.  Her heart broke for them.  I do not think you have an agenda, I think you are just a kind man.

Rob, I think you have alot experience and are well intended.  But do you think that maybe your heart has been hardened by all you have seen and heard.  This is no way meant to offend you.  My dad was in LE for 45 years and I have seen how and why he can seem so cold.  Also, my sister is too.  She is a nurse and she can be so matter of fact about things.  One night I called her and she said "let me call you back, I have to bring a dead baby to the morgue."  She said it like it was nothing!!!!  Just wondering?

Some of it just doesn't work for me. You have to look at the evidence. There is evidence that SOMEONE in that house was on the puter searching how to make chloroform, missing children and escort services. I believe she planned this out. I believe that she killed Caylee in anger  and she used the chloroform to do it. i think that the whole family is guilty of something.

It wouldn't surprise me at ALL if Casey doesn't throw George under the bus before this is all over.  And there is always Casey joining the PTSD group.

Karma ... I read the released forensic report and ... ONLY mitochondrial DNA testing was done on the strands of hair ... mitochondrial DNA testing that does not reveal paternity.

Lee Anthony's DNA was just taken in the past couple of weeks.  According to my know-it-all niece (LOL) who possess a science degree Lee Anthony's DNA would be required to confirm or exclude paternity through further DNA testing.

Yet ... Leonard Padilla was speculating in the beginning of September that Lee Anthony could possibly be Caylee father while describing mitochondrial DNA.  I do not get it.

Other than Leonard Padilla's words in the following article and ... the dialogue on  internet forums ... as far as I know ... no other media/ official/ family source has ever touched this issue.

Without any credible source ... LE release/Family ... which reveals that Caylee Marie was the result of an incestuous relationship between Lee and Casey ... out of respect for Caylee Marie I will not go there.

Janet, what I was questioning more than anything was if the reason Baden said they do know who Caylee's father is might be due the fact that further testing beyond mitochondrial DNA was performed at a date later than that of the documents we've seen.   

I'm not addressing the issue of who the father actually is. 

Someone earlier was discussing what the Anthonys' motivation might have been for not informing the father or going after child support. (I'm leaving my belief as to who it is out of this one, so this is a hypothetical)  If this was either a just one-night stand, a boyfriend, or friend, I think the reason for their keeping it a secret is none other than control.  They wanted control over Caylee more than they wanted child support.  They wouldn't want anyone to have any say in what went on in Caylee's life.

The report details findings from FBI tests on items found inside Casey's car, including DNA results on hair samples and forensic testing of debris and clothing (read details).

Among the results is confirmation that a hair sample found in the vehicle "exhibits characteristics of apparent decomposition." The report also says that specific hair is "microscopically similar" to hair investigators took from Caylee's hairbrush.

"The hair found in the trunk establishes that Caylee's dead and that her dead body was in the trunk of the car. Even if they don't find the body, it's enough evidence, scientific evidence, to establish that she's dead," said Dr. Michael Baden, nationally-renowned forensic pathologist.

Let`s bring in Dr. Lawrence Kobilinsky. He is a forensic scientist and he is also a consultant to Casey Anthony`s defense team. Koby (ph), did you reach the same conclusion? And again, you`re working for the defense at this point. But did you reach the same conclusion that this says, basically, she`s dead, the child is dead?

LARRY KOBILINSKY, FORENSIC SCIENTIST: Well, Jane, let me address the issue that Dr. Arnall just raised. He was very clear that it`s either Casey or Caylee`s hair. That is supposed to be based on mitochondrial DNA analysis. What Dr. Arnall is not telling you is that mitochondrial DNA is not unique to an individual. But not only is it not unique because all maternally-related relatives have the same mitochondrial DNA, but also non- relatives -- there are certain non-related individuals that share the same mitochondrial DNA. So this is speculation. This is not scientific fact.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: But you`re saying that somebody accidentally dropped a piece of hair in the trunk, and they just happened to have the same exact DNA as Caylee and Casey, but it`s not Cindy because she`s alive, so it couldn`t be her hair, but it`s somebody else who then somehow ended up dead or was dead?

KOBILINSKY: Jane, Jane, I`m not saying anything of that sort. And as you know, I cannot comment on the specifics of a case that I`m working on. But I will say that the conclusion that this hair is either Caylee or Casey is simply not scientific. It`s a speculation.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: All right. Well, Dr. Arnall, you know, shoot back.

ARNALL: I agree with -- I agree with precisely what he said. And the defense will be confronted with the problem that someone who is dead and decomposed has mitochondrial DNA consistent with either Casey or Caylee. So you`ll develop a list of people in the neighborhood who could have been in the trunk and who are currently missing and decomposed to whom this hair might belong.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: That`s my point. That`s my point, Koby, is that, statistically, the probability of it being anybody else but Caylee is minute to the point of being ridiculous.

KOBILINSKY: Well, you know, "statistically" is exactly the right word because we deal with statistics. We do not have a unique profile. The statistics may be more common than you would think. And the relevant population may not be in the block. It may be in the county or the state.

VELEZ-MITCHELL: You know, this reminds me of the O.J. Simpson trial, when they started doing all the crazy DNA analysis that got to the point where nobody could understand what they were talking about. And basically, you know, it was sort of, like, in confusion, there is victory for the defense.

If George cleaned the trunk of the car and Cindy washed the clothes that were in it,why has LE not done something about it? I related a personal story a few pages back pertaining to this very issue.  I have very mixed feelings in regards to the reasoning why a mother and her family would keep the father and his family in the dark regarding the existence of a child/grandchild.

Nevertheless ... I firmly believe that the issue will not go away ... it is only a matter of time ... sooner or later ... before it will have to be confronted.  IMO.

If there was a real Zanny, the A family could sue for loss of affection, and something to do with Caylee not being able to provide money for herself, can't remember the name of that.  But of course, they would have to admit Caylee is gone.

I wished that I understood that too.  IMO, it wouldn't surprise me if they are waiting for tests or locating the body.  Of course the latter may tell them much needed info as to who helped with the disposal, if anyone did.  Hopefully when they find Caylee, she isn't so decomposed that LE can't find out the info they need.  I think we will just have to wait to see what they find.

I'm kinda offended that you and a few others think it's being desrespectful if some on here(including myself)discuss who could be Caylee's Father.
I sure do not have any disrespect or ill thoughts,feelings or opinions of Caylee.My God,she was just a child,a sweet little baby.If you don't want to discuss that aspect of this case and don't like the opinions I have then please,just skip on past my posts.Or if Klaas says we are not to discuss that side of this case then I will abide by what she says.
I live in reality and one of the possible realities of this case is that Lee or another family could be Caylee's Father.

Karma... it does not bother ME to discuss who Caylee's father is, I am just hoping against hope that is isn't her Unlce Lee...just seems like it would add more tragedy to this already tragic story...no worries from this monkey...it's all good!

Why on earth would someone have to research months ahead of the date, how to make Chloroform to clean a car when there are numerous commonly used items that will do well. Do  you really think when she was looking up the 'how to' instructions she was planning on cleaning a smelly car with it?    NG states those searcyes were made well before Caylee went missing. I don't remember the exact date offhand but it was in early May IIRC.

OHHHHH.... that Russ....BTW, Karma, I do realize that Lee as the father is a possibility, just trying not to go there yet....BUT doesn't bother me when others do...That is what is cool about SM...

You mean the search MURT was going to do or another?  I haven't heard.

Colt I agree with you in reference to the Chloroform.  Casey does not seem the type that would research a product in order to kill her child with.  I see her using means of convenience..for her atleast.  IMO the Chloroform was used as a cleaning agent.  I am not so quick to suspect George though, we all know that one of Casey's fav programs was CSI, and on CSI they speak of the chloroform agent quite often for many reasons, not just as a chemical of choice for knocking out prey.

MT I would love to join you in the world that Rob has drawn for you of lollipops and gum drops rather than the world of slaughtered children.  Its heart breaking this entire case, I honestly do not know how Rob can do all the work that he does for those who no longer have a voice, I could not handle it personally.

Why go through the trouble of creating such an elaborate chemical?  Why not just get childrens Benedryl liquid or Tylenol nighttime cold for children?  There are other things that could be used for that purpose without her having to tap into her "chemist" personality.  IMO

I confess. I used Benadryl for my dog when he was going through heart worm treatment. Not a nice thing to do, but it kept him calm. I couldn't imagine doing it to a child.

Pending on when the Chloroform searches were done changes my theories on it.  However, I just can not see Miss B!tch playing Dr. Jekyll and snapping into chemist mode to create this when its just easier to run into CVS and purchase liquid sleeping aid.

I give my dogs benadyl on the 4th of July because of the fireworks.  My vet recommended it then he even gave me something stronger whe he found out I lived on the river.  They go off all weekend.  Sorry to admit it, but I hope for rain!!

Children under 18 can receive SS benefits from a deceased father. However, paternity has to be proved in order to get them. If the couple were married, and his name is on the b/c, it is easily proven. If the couple are not married, and his name is not on the b/c, then paternity would have to be established through dNA testing.
