Quote Joe Biden running “stealth” Senate re-election campaign in DE. Biden’s expected to easily win seventh term in the Senate but would have to resign his seat if he’s elected VP. Biden’s told local press if he wins Senate seat and Obama wins the Presidency, he’ll wait until he’s sworn in as VP to resign his seat. The newly-sworn in DE Gov. likely to be a Democrat, will then pick Biden’s successor. O’Donnell says DE citizens will be voting for a “question mark” if they choose Biden, noting an unknown appointee could be tapped to fill Biden’s seat should he become VP |
