I can not believe the nerve of the Anthony's.  Someone who cares about this family needs to intercede and have her either Baker Acted, or under psychological outpatient care of some sort.  She obviously is not taking her meds.

I agree, if this was just about the "Memorial" then they would have just showed up yesterday.  There is something else stirring, maybe it was an attempt to double check that they are not where Casey told them she put Caylee??

yea many sites put a cap on how many guests can be on during high traffic times. that way all members are guaranteed space and don't get kicked off. i'm not sure if their software allows, i'm sure it depends on what bulletin software they use.

i wish that TES would come in with their advanced equipment and do one last effort!!! Are they gone already? They have the right kind of equipment for an underwater search with sonar and all that good stuff!! I know theyre discouraged and have given up hope, but i really think this lake needs to be combed completely. I find it hard to believe that the A's showed up there for nothing. Just hoping and crossing fingers that its because they know theyre in the right place and trying to get them away from there. I hope LP doesnt back down.

I will recap what just went down from what Murt has said:

George and Cindy Anthony showed up at the search site. Cindy ended up going ape shit on everyone and told Lenny P that he was going to have him arrested. Murt said Cindy was very out of control and that a fight almost ensued. She apperently grabbed a camera mans camera or something like that. He said that George really didnt say much and that it was Cindy that was out of control. Lenny P was trying to calm Cindy down and I guess Cindy broke down a couple of times.

As the Anthonys were walking by Murts van Geroge pulled off the sign that was hanging up on it that was Dakota's sign that she made. It was a sign made for an ALIVE Caylee so he is baffled and mind boggled as to why George would do this. He said he no longer has any respect for the Anthonys after that.

It seems to me that Cindy is jealous in a way, jealous of the attention the search is getting and jealous of the love and concern being showed to Caylee, as odd as that seems.  It is time for Cindy to wake up and smell the coffee.  Her daughter is putting them and the country through Hell while she sits in jail in a narcissistic fog and paints her toenails.  Cindy's behavior is beyond bizarre.  It makes me wonder if she is mixing alcohol and a lot of it with whatever meds she takes.  This is drunken behavior, not grief.

I just have to wonder why George is allowing himself to cater to her like this. She could have driven herself to the park- although being on meds, probably not the wisest move. In that case, he could have told her to find another ride, or something. He's stuck between a rock and a hard place - one *might* say - but he's also enabling her destructive behavior.

I've been watching this all day....then leave for 10 minutes and miss all the action. ::MonkeyConfused:: Plus....what was all the commotion about when everyone, including camera men, went running to the left of Murt's screen? This was BEFORE the A's showed up.

It is past time for George to step up and be a man, too, if he has it in him.  His enabling of Cindy is as bad as their enabling of Casey.  Enough time has passed for Cindy to come to terms with what has happened, as awful as it is, and her outrageous antics dishonor Caylee and her memory, IMO.  If Jackie Kennedy could maintain her courage and composure after the assassination, if other widows and parents of murdered children can remain civil and calm in the face of such horror, Cindy can and should do the same.  As terrible as this tragedy is, she is not the first to endure it, and almost everyone I can think of has handled their tragedies with more grace, dignity and character. 

I wish Murt would do a quick rotation of his camera so we could get a nice panaramic view of what is outsite the "peep hole" view.

Why can't they phone LP and have this discussion privately? Or meet up with him somewhere - with their lawyer if they'd feel more comfortable- and discuss it calmly and rationally?  There is absolutely ZERO reason for them to go to a search site and behave in this manner.  JMO.

Why? A memorial is a way to say goodbye to a loved one. Tim's announcement yesterday of maybe never finding Caylee was so sad, it's just a way for other's to say a proper goodbye to this little girl. Heaven knows her grandparents will NEVER put one on for her. I agree, it should be their place to do so, but they won't, not as long as the camera's are rolling and the money coming in.

Tim says on this video he searched yesterday, where LP is today and he is confident she is not there.

I truly feel for the Anthonys...a little...not much...but a little.  Their lives are totally out of control...Cindy really needs to be sedated for extended periods of time...she must be to the point of breaking right now...George can not control her in any way shape or form and he should have never...ever allowed Cindy to go to that area today.  Lee is missing in action.  If he was any decent kind of person he would at least try to get his mother's life in control right now. 

They have listened to the wrong attorneys on this and they have convinced themselves that Caylee is alive...yet there was HUMAN DECOMPOSITION in the trunk of Casey's car.  HUMAN!!!  You simply can not ignore that. The science does not lie...you can try to interpret it anyway you wish...it won't matter...the truth is Casey's car trunk contained evidence that a DEAD BODY was in that car...if the maggot milkshake as Destiny calls it contains HUMAN remains also...game over!  Cindy needs some serious therapy...and I mean the kind that is detailed...she is on the verge of a complete nervous breakdown and sadly I think Casey could not be happier.

I just got back from the Sprint store and I hurried but still have 20 pages to catch up on...anything new happened.  The last I was reading everyone was running toward the water...what was that all about???

They should have called me, I am certified and have my own gear.  Heck I will even do it for free!

I don't know if Murt ever said what happened with that.  All I know is that George and Cindy showed up and went nuts.. George ripped a Find Caylee sign off Murt's van, Cindy was yelling and crying, and so on.  ::MonkeyNoNo::

I'm so sick of these greedy, self serving people. Their MO is to lash out as loudly and longly as possible and wait for everybody to back off. It seems like that's what was done in their family affairs too, whoever screamed the loudest won. It wasn't until kc trumped them by murdering Caylee that it changed the pattern, but CA can't behave with dignity or poise under any circumstance and feels if she blames everybody else in the country for poor kc's predicament everyone will just cower and let her win. Breaking news coming from Murt.

Murt says that Cindy called up Dakotas Grandmother and reamed her a new asshole and Murt seems to think it is about the sign. Lois is completely irrate and people are trying to calm her down.

I just don't Boo..Tim nor LP should make this call in my honest opinion no matter what the A's say or choose to do.This is a family matter,declaration of death,and it is them that must accept it and make the call.I'm still praying that Caylee will be found and then it can be anyone call but until then,not so...jmo

Concerning what should and should not be done in such a situation like this, I think we all agree that people handle their grief and shock in different ways.  We know the stages of grief.  We fully acknowledge that we would be crazy with grief if we lost a child.  Having said that, much of what the Anthonys have done and are doing are NOT connected to grief.  Denial is not the same as outright lying.  Grief is not the same as throwing hissy fits in public.  And even the most grief-stricken person is not allowed to harrass, threaten or stalk others.  What Cindy and George did today comes very close to that. They did not show up at the search to help, to encourage or even to protest.  They obviously showed up to make trouble and create a scene.  It is just unimaginable and indicates that Cindy is out of control. 

I have never thought that Cindy, George or Lee should join the search if they did not feel compelled to be there.  I cannot imagine anything any more horrific than a relative finding a murdered child.  I do not expect them to walk those fields and streams hoping to find Caylee's body, but they should understand the motivations of the volunteers, TES and the police.  Caylee is missing.  Casey is not truthful.

About the memorial, anyone can hold a memorial.  It is not unusual for people who feel especially touched by a situation to hold a memorial, even if they are not family or in the same town with family.  I suppose Cindy wants to control that, too.  Cindy keeps saying there is not enough proof to show that Caylee is dead, although she herself smelled the stench of decay.  But the rest of us see no reason to believe that Caylee is still alive.  If her body is not found, she deserves a memorial, and the family has no interest in organizing or attending one.

Cindy's behavior is stupid above all else and will not help to provide closure to this case or to her family.  The whole family seems emotionally unevolved to me.  Others who have found themselves in tragic situations do not behave this way.  Her behavior is self-serving and to me, indicative of what really went on behind closed doors in that family, where hotheads were always blowing their stacks between the taking of glossy photos for the family album.

I think they should remove the public from the whole area (except Popcorn Kitty)  Move along, nothing to see here (Star Wars).

Yep! My EX husband was like that, I had ulcers! After the divorce my kids said to me "Is it wrong to be happy you guys are divorced?" Once he was out of the house and gone, I made sure my home was one of peace and refuge from this crazy world. They nick named my house Serenity.  They had to put up with his temper tantrums at his place, but at home, everything was calm and fun.

Could yall see or hear George and Cindy screaming and yelling??  This is eating the Anthonys up...you could see in Cindys face today on GMA!

This person hollared to C&G about why are you here? They were screaming, everybody else was screaming, LP got upset...  this person said George "with the most evilest eyes" ripped the poster right off the windshield..  the person told George that it was "thievery", and so this person believes Caylee must be at this site.

According to this gal talking right now, the reason that it took so long to get the divers here today is that the Anthony attorney tried to get it stopped.

The delay in getting the divers in the water this morning is because Cindy tried to get it stopped! 

I am only a drunk when I drink but crazy is obviously very different!! Personally, I think LP is playing psychological warfare with the a's and I don't mean anthony...The memorial, the things he says on NG, the search....He is taking crazy and trying to push it to a whole new level!!! This memorial very well could be not only a tribute to Caylee but an "in your face" to the Ass thonys, maybe to make somebody mad enough to reveal something. I think this post sums up this whole case for me.  The public needs some closure and a memorial after the "last" search would certainly go a long way.

Lois and LP and Murt need to file actions to keep George and Cindy away from them and from contacting them.  Either could lose control completely and do something that they would regret forever.  If their lawyers cannot control them, the cops will have to and the courts, too.  It is a dangerous situation when they are so angry they get in their car and go over to confront people so agressively.

But they also make it appear that they know Caylee is about to be found and they are trying to interfere with that.

Well if Tim is confidant that Caylee isn't there,I don't see why Padilla is second guessing him..There seems to be grand standing on many levels I think.After-all,it is Tim with all the equipment and experience.I do wonder what they found out about that garbage pile and hole earlier?Anyone know?

I am honestly on the brink of crossing over.  The line is very very thin.  I think I hate Cindy more than I hate Casey.  Cindy is acting like she's the guilty party. She needs to be put in a drug induced coma before she loses her mind completely.  She's about 98% gone, IMO

the a's would never allow a public memorial, even if they had proof of her being deceased sitting in front of them. They hate the public and the media for seeing thru this whole charade of theirs and their evil daughters. I think that people have in fact fallen in love with this little girl and most sane people are in agreement that shes no longer with us. I dont think theres anything wrong with a memorial for the public.

I was thinking this same question.  I figure it this way:  if Caylee is never found it will always mean reasonable doubt in people's minds (per the A's) and they would never really have to deal with the fact that Caylee's deceased.  They want to always believe, without a body, that every child they look at could be their Caylee.  To them it's like, no body, then Caylee's alive.

I wonder what Cindy was like before. Did she flip out, fly into a rage for no reason? Did Casey?

It would not surprise me if Nejames ceased to be their lawyer after this.  Lawyers do not appreciate clients who do not take their advice and who go off on uncontrolled tangents and throw tantrums.  This makes Nejames look bad and uneffective.

Someone, Lala's Mom, I think, mentioned in an earlier post that Casey was probably enjoying all this drama.  She may very well be.  I don't think she has much concern or love for her parents.  And if she was in a battle with Cindy, she may feel that she has "won" in many ways by stripping Cindy of the pawn in their chess game, Caylee, and by leaving Cindy and George with smell of death surrounding them.  What better revenge than that, in the eyes of a sociopath? 

It's a good thing the cops took George's gun away from him!!! I would not doubt that Cindy would use it on LP or anyone else who got in her way!!

George can go to hell too.  I don't believe for one second he's the innocent battered husband.  I think he's in up to his eyeballs and Cindy is scared to be left alone if he goes to prison.  My bet is she orchestrated the entire cover-up giving George the bulk of the cleanup to do.  I think she washed the clothes, george cleaned the car and lee maybe helped in some way too.  Probably destroying computer evidence and so forth.

Goodnmad, according to police reports, cops were called to the Anthony home several times for "verbal disturbances."  At least one neighbor recalls hearing loud cursing coming from the house.  George and Cindy almost divorced after Caylee was born.  George told police there was a lot of jealousy between Casey and Cindy regarding Caylee and that they had many arguments about their roles in the child's life.  Cindy told Casey's friends that Casey was a sociopath, thief and liar.  Casey told people that Cindy tried to control her life.  They all denied an obvious pregnancy at one point.  They had serious financial problems yet apparengtly spent like drunken sailors on toys, clothes, a pool, etc.  They were not honest with each other about important matters, like whether or not Casey had a job and where Caylee stayed during the day.  Casey was promiscious and unfocused and did not even finish high school. George supposedly had a gambling problem and he may have run around on Cindy.   ALL OF THIS HAPPENED BEFORE CAYLEE DISAPPEARED.  This was not a perfectly happy little family by any stretch of the imagination.  In fact, I sometimes wonder just how damaged Caylee would have been by the tensions and arguments in that house had she remained there all her life.  I suspect she may have ended up like Casey.  With both women pulling in different directions, how could Caylee have not been affected.  I know that every family has problems, but it really galls me when the Anthonys try to portray themselves as loving and close. 

OK I don't post much but  OMG this is beyond crazy. What is wrong with these people and WHY do they NOT want their GC found? I still can't believe all that has happened today. Will they search tomorrow also?

The A's know where precious Kaylee is, so in their self serving eyes, that is all that matters - they know, no one else needs to.  She isnt missing, they know exactly where she is.  They are selfish, they dont care that an entire nation, actually world, fell in love with that little girl and want to see her found.  Now if they didnt know where she was hidden, that would be an entirely different story.

Thats my take on the situation.

Up until now, I was giving GA the benefit of the doubt.  But, after this afternoon, I have no reason to believe that he's as evil as CA & KC.  

i am to the point where i dont really care what LPs true motives are for doing all of this. I just care that he is. I want caylee found for several reasons, the most obvious is because she deserves it. I also want her found to seal caseys fate and to prove something to the a's. If a body is never found, we will forever have to hear their BS about how shes still out there and that their sick daughter is spending her life in prison because shes such a great mom and shes protecting her. I despise this entire family more and more every day and while i dont wish losing a child/grandchild on anyone and i can see how hard it would be to accept the truth, they are just above and beyond denial/grief and are nothing but cover up.
On another note, I really wish there were more of a elaborate search going on in this lake. In that murky water, it may take forever, if ever, for 2 divers to find anything. LE needs to step in and provide more resources. I would certainly be willling to donate to that cause just as i did to TES.

Good points. And all of that reinforces my thoughts that Cindy (and George) are acting out of guilt rather than denial or grief. They produced Casey. Cindy fought with Casey on the 15th. Cindy doesn't think she did enough to follow up after the 15th and make sure Caylee was ok. Ditto for George. Guilt.

The Anthony's should have just laid low!  .... Gone to Gainsville, checked out the surveillance video of perhaps the "live Caylee" ... went to dinner and called it an emotional day .... instead they show up at a park, where a cowboy bounty hunter is looking for a "dead Caylee" ... and act like idiots ... If it's true they really stopped the dives, then they either know she's close or they recognize Casey's handiwork in the cross. That's My Opinion.

As messed up as some people think LP is for having his own search party out, separate from Tim, .. and as much as some people think he's messed up for holding a memorial tomorrow.. w/out what he's doing right now, Cindy would not have come out today, to show us AGAIN her true colors.  This makes her look MORE suspect to anybody who may at some point sit on a jury, if and when she's tried for obstruction of justice.  She's digging her own grave here, if you ask me.  She's an adult. Whether TES or LP or anybody else can muster up a search of this area, I believe Orange County needs to do an exhaustive search of Blanchard Park, including the water. They are the local law enforcement. That's My Opinion as well.

Trying to compare Tim and LP is truely Apples and Oranges.  Tim is a patient, kind man who will go to then end of the earth, and stop a search and come back later when circumstances prevail.
Leonard is a bounty hunter.  He's a brilliant man who lives for the chase and catch, and stays focused on the one at hand.  His best tool is to outwit, and he does it well.  In this case, he must outwit the A's, and the catch is Casey, not Caley.  It's only thru the camera that he can get the A's to rise to the bait, so I say let him have all the camera's he needs. I think we are getting an opportunity to see an incredible chess match being played out, by one of the best.
For both men,  Caley is the inspiration.  It seems to me their underlying motive is the same, though their styles are very different.  Tim may not like LP, or he may not understand him.  This isn't a popularity contest tho.  I do not think anyone can be called disloyal for supporting them both. And I do.  JMHO.

I do think that LP is getting warm with this search. The Anthony's should have sent their lawyer out there to speak for them but instead used bad judgement and made the trip themselves. They know the truth, they know where Caylee is and they have shown it today I think.

Yes, I have thought the same thing.  Casey does not appear to be the type to 'get her hands dirty' and the less effort she takes to do something the better she likes it.  I have always felt Casey probably put her in a dumpster or the trash or drove up to a spot and dumped the body.  And maybe covered it with limbs/or brush.  The body would have been too messy to carry to the water and the chance of someone seeing her throw it into the river was too great.  Casey would have to have done it in secret in a place no one goes to, low traffic area and a place where she could get in and get out fast without being seen.

Tim seems to be searching based on LE's information. However, he said that J Blanchard was not in sheriff's investigators radar.  Therefore, why would he search there? However, that's no reason for others not to search there. There may be good reason to check it out.

Tiny Turn Out For Group's Likely Last Search For Caylee
Monday, November 10, 2008 – updated: 3:29 pm EST November 10, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- From 5,000 to 40, the big expectations in the search for Caylee Anthony's body ended in a tiny turnout at another search site Monday near the 417. It will likely be the last time the group EquuSearch will look for Caylee.

Only about forty volunteers were on site to get instructions before Monday's search in a wooded area near Econ Trail along the 417. When they lined up, they were told to be precise in their search and yell for their team leaders if they see anything suspicious.


About 2,300 volunteers also looked for Caylee's remains Saturday and Sunday. They believe a body or a shred of evidence are the only things that may give the community closure.

"The longer everyone searches, there's a possibility evidence will be found," volunteer Cindy Smith said.

The area is so dense with brush and trees, it would be almost impossible to spot human remains anywhere.

"We can bring in the entire military and there's still a small chance that she would ever be found," EquuSearch founder Tim Miller said.

Miller said the case has put his group in debt; they've spent $100,000. He will leave for North Carolina on Tuesday morning to focus on other missing persons cases, but said he may leave some of his volunteers behind.

Miller also said he's frustrated with bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who started his own search Monday in an area Miller claims isn't even on sheriff's investigators radar.

"There's no evidence to lead anyone to believe there's a good reason to dive. I would only hope it's not for self promotional reasons and turning this into a circus," Miller said.


BOUNTY HUNTER HIRES DIVERS FOR OWN SEARCH

A water search in east Orange County began late after having to wait for permission from Blanchard Park officials. Two divers, hired by bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, were searching 50 yards of the shore and searching 15 feet out in the Little Econ River in Blanchard Park (see map). Padilla thinks Caylee's body is in the river.

Padilla also announced Monday that he will be holding a memorial service at 9:00am Tuesday along the river search site. He said the FBI is involved in the search, as well, but the FBI has denied that.

Padilla and his team focused on the river where a cross was found nearby.

"We feel confident enough, we have to, and we have to check it out," he said.

The cross was found hanging on a tree very close to the Econ River, which was the site of a major search effort to find Caylee's body.

"You can't let something like this go because it sounds strange," said Padilla.

A team member from EquuSearch snapped a picture back in August of the cross hanging from a tree. The cross is made from the same type of arts and crafts materials found in Casey's bedroom. Padilla said he is focusing his attention on the photograph.

"We looked at the tree where the cross was hanging and it's not more than 70 yards away from the water's edge," he said.

Searchers walked through dense brush, fields and even water, but aside from clothing and some apparent animal bones they found nothing to indicate they child's remains were there.

"If you really want to delve into the mind of Casey Anthony, delve deep into some shrink's ugly book, because she's an ugly minded person," said Padilla.


CINDY ANTHONY SPEAKS OUT ON GMA

Caylee Anthony's grandmother told Good Morning America on Monday people should be looking for Caylee alive, because there's no evidence she's dead (watch video). She lashed out at prosecutors for wanting to put a gag order on the defense and the Anthony family.

Cindy said prosecutors don't want them to talk publicly about tips they are getting that suggest Caylee is still alive. She went on to say they received a tip just Saturday night that Caylee was spotted in Florida. Cindy said she watched surveillance video and believes it could be her granddaughter and investigators are now looking at that video.


HEARING FOR MOTIONS POSTPONED

The case against Casey was expected back in court Monday, but it won't happen due to a scheduling blunder by Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez.

Baez set a hearing Monday to request more evidence from the sheriff's office. The judge was also to hear the prosecutors request for a gag order on the Anthony family.

Baez, though, later said he has another court appearance and can't make it.

The thing that is making the absence of finding something so horrible to me is the understanding that the death penalty will not be sought unless they find the body!  This was reported in the last week on one of the major networks, I forget who.  But if the maggot evidence is enough to prove the body was there, why should it matter???

As a practical matter, the high burden of proof in criminal cases means that judges and jurors are supposed to resolve all doubts about the meaning of the evidence in favor of the defendant. With such a high standard imposed on the prosecutor, a defendant's most common defense is often to argue that there is in fact reasonable doubt.

4. The Alibi Defense The only Alibi she has is her cell phone and THAT screwed her
An alibi defense consists of evidence that a defendant was somewhere other than the scene of the crime at the time it was committed. For example, assume that Zanny is accused of committing a burglary on Elm Street at midnight on Friday, September 13.
