Brandi, I believe he came back and clarified this.  He thought the question was George Caylee's biological father.

An email like that from a family member!!!??? I guess that explains why no family has been around them. They don't buy the bs anymore than the rest of us and probably don't want to get painted with the same brush. I feel for their family members. Sad, embarrassing....

Just got a chance to use the laptop, as we were out on the beach and then at the neighbors having some "grown up" drinks to keep warm~it was a breezy 63 degrees.......brrrr

It seems to be from a topix thread I was on :) It got real ugly in one thread for Rick..he was gonna get it either way.. He was bashed for saying he was CA brother,no one believed him, he moved to a different more friendly thread and proved who he was and then was bashed for airing the families laundry..sure felt for the poor guy.Most of us were actually quite interested in what he had to say, I think it was the ones who were yelling he was not CA's brother the loudest were the ones who bashed most for the airing of the laundry...

Sorry, but I love his "bluntness", I was rolling when I read that.......and I needed a good laugh. Thanks Klaas

Rick sent many "kinder" emails to Cindy until he had no choice but to be blunt.  He did everything he could to "slap" some sense into Cindy.  I really feel bad for him.

Wow!  Glad Rick is not my brother, relative, or neighbor.  What he is saying may all be true but he has some serious anger issues.  What an abusive jerk!!  IMO  Does he think this is going to make him look good?  Just makes me think they are all so crazy!! 

That last line is what cracked me up the most.. Ya gotta love Rick.. he tries so hard to get  her back in reality.. He really took a beating so to speak over all this, bloggers got him for saying he was her brother,then after proven he was,got him for talking about the family dynamics then someone ratted him out for blogging and CA got him for blogging.. He was reaching out actually trying to protect CA and keep people from believing some of the rumors that were going around,but we know that anyone that tries to help CA in any way other then proving Caylee is alive gets kicked to the curb and ran over by the street sweeper machine.  so sad.

What an unbelievable amount of frustration in that email...it was so long ago tho...they obviously didn't listen...I feel so bad for the extended family, especially Caylees great grandfather..  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Bearly~that happens more than anyone can imagine. I never knew how many friends I had until I moved here! In all seriousness though I have been so ticked from all the new crap from Urine (sorry for O/T), and Cindy screwing around with evidence that I have just been lurking, but when the sun set tonight I felt incredible peace in my heart and soul and again I think WHO else could make anything so freaking beautiful except all those "lost". As a matter of fact, my neighbors told me when I first moved here that Natalee used to babysit for a family that used to rent the house across the street from me in Pensacola Beach, Fl during the summer.........would love to know if that is true, and they all seem so upset over all the new spin and recall her so fondly.

Did you read in TL's statement that Casey told him that Lee would try to have sex with her and touch her inappropriately?  Wouldn't this go with some people on here said about Casey being sexually abused and she turns toward that lifestyle?

I found in docs, a letter to Yuri from Rick.  It is on pg. 25 and it explains that he let Cindy have it with both barrels.  He was fed up and at his wits end.  I can't blame and would probably write an even more scathing letter to Cindy.  She really is that stupid. ::MonkeyNoNo::

Well Monkeys...I've been reading these docs...all I can say is WOW...I stopped reading.  I feel so sorry for some of these folks!  These kids never signed on for this crap...having their lives so exposed - makes me very sad.  Even Rick's stuff...I understand his frustration with his sister, but I'm sad for him that his private conversations with his sister are exposed for all the world!  God, I couldn't handle it.  I'm praying for all the innocent people mixed up in this today.  I'm thankful that I'm not in their shoes.  I pray they can feel some sort of peace soon.  I'm so struck by how much damage one person can do...it's overwhelming.   ::MonkeyNoNo::

My emotions are getting the best of me....seems trivial to say...but I hope each and every one of you have a Blessed Thanksgiving.  Bye for now.

That was cleared up a long time ago. Rick misunderstood the poster's question... thought they meant was GA Caylee's bio father.... a few posts down he corrected it, and said yes, GA was both Lee and Casey's bio father.  IIRC, this was from a chat on another board way back in August.

After reading the emails between Rick & his mother all I can say is THANK GOD the rest of that family is not completely insane like GA & CA, THANK GOD!!! They have known for along time that Casey is a sociopath. I believe she was born AND nurtured that way! George & Cindy both have personality disorders. There is nothing that could help this family but God!!

Cindy gave them a hair brush used by Casey and Caylee instead of the one only used by Caylee.  Looks to me by this document they though they had Caylee's brush:

When I try to read Rick's emails it tells me the file is damaged and cannot be repaired. Anyone else having this problem, or have another link or advice?

If only Casey had accepted the partial immunity deal that was offered her.  All the dirty linen ... all the family secrets ... could have remained out of the public arena.

If there is any justice for Caylee Marie ... Casey Anthony will receives a life sentence in a court of law when the jury finds her guilty of causing her daughters demise and ... the charade that has taken place since July 16th by her parents will have been for naught.

No immunity for Caylee's mom, prosecutor says

ORLANDO, Florida (AP) -- The mother of a missing Florida toddler no longer has an offer of immunity from prosecutors to help in the search.

The state attorney's office said it had not heard back from Casey Anthony before the offer expired Tuesday morning. The sheriff's office said earlier that investigators believe 3-year-old Caylee Anthony is dead.

Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, didn't immediately respond to a phone and e-mail message for comment.

Investigators have been searching for Caylee since mid-July when she was reported missing after not being seen for about a month.

Prosecutors had extended an offer of limited immunity to the child's mother in exchange for her cooperation.

This could be why Cindy is so very "sure" that Caylee is "alive" and how she can so easily come out with "they have no proof".  I think the joke is on her though, as I am sure that they pulled out several hairs, if not all the hairs, and ran tests. 

So, when will Cindy be escorted to a cell in pink cuffs?

I have a bad, bad feeling that Baez is going to try to create reasonable doubt that Casey did this by targeting Lee ... especially w/the porn internet searches, refusal to give DNA, the fact that Lee supposively had "a sickness" at age 16, etc ...

Sadly, he may be able to do it ...  If he can create doubt in jurors mind that it wasn't Casey but instead Lee and that she was "covering" for him b/c of fear from previous controlling abuse issues ... not good ... I pray they have enough on Casey alone so that it doesn't happen!

Looks like the number Casey had programmed into her phone as Universal appears to be a number for AT&T/Cingular. Based on google, it looks like people get calls from this number when their bills are late!  Guess she knew she would get plenty of those calls!

I haven't read all the docs yet, but what really got my attention so far - CA was caught lying about the lawyer they went to regarding Caylee.  That never rang to true to me when I heard her say that during her interview with LE.  Like mother, like daughter!!   ::MonkeyCool::

I read the emails. I do understand Rick's frustration and what he says is all true!  However, I just would never talk to my sister that way!  EVER!!  IMO - his valid points get lost with all the anger, frustration and meanness.  Would you ever make fun of the possible breakdown of your own family member?  MENTAL HOSPITAL - Here you come! 

The emails did make me laugh, I won't deny that.  But I still cant imagine treating my siter like that.  It's not like we always agree but we just would never get so mean.  Maybe its just how we were raised.  Threats off violence - would never be tolerated in my family.  LOL

Well, if Cindy was worried about her dirty laundry being aired, I suppose she is in a frenzy right now.  Does she always threaten to "kick a$$" if someone upsets her?  This is a nasty, violent woman, not the sweet and patient mom and granny she likes to pretend.

The family on both sides seems estranged and prone to nasty arguments, name-calling, jealousy, spite, etc. and sometimes violent confrontations.  The notes back and forth show angry, beligerant, mean people on both sides, but as Rick says, Nobody has gone missing from his house.

A Tough Thanksgiving For Anthony Family

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony will spend this Thanksgiving alone, in the Orange County Jail.

Officials say the Anthony family will not visit Casey today, and Casey did not request any visitors or phone calls for the holiday.

Instead, she will dine with other prisoners on turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and bread and butter. For dessert, Casey will have a slice of pumpkin spice cake.

We've also learned Casey's father, George Anthony, spent part of his Thanksgiving alone as well.

George was seen driving by himself around downtown Orlando and Winter Park towing his "Where is Caylee billboard."

Eyewitness News has obtained new documents from prosecutors that show Casey's own relatives believe she killed her daughter. In the 700 pages of evidence there were emails that started a family feud between Cindy Anthony and her brother.

Cindy's brother said he's frustrated that she believes Casey. In early August reporters asked Cindy Anthony a lot of tough questions about Casey's lies and Eyewitness News has learned Cindy's own brother was asking those same questions.

However, his inquiries ended in a family feud. In an email exchanged in August, Cindy's brother Rick Plesea, who she rarely talked to, told her his theory: "Caylee drowned in the pool, and Casey put Caylee's body in the trunk of her car." and "That is why the dogs hit on the trunk." From there the exchange deteriorated to insults.

Cindy wrote: "The next time you say Caylee is dead I will personally come there and kick your sorry a** all the way to hell."

Her brother fired back: "Your granddaughter is dead. There, I said it. Casey has killed her someway either by accident or on purpose."

"You have both lost your minds," Plesea writes to Cindy and George.

He also said Casey Anthony attended his wedding seven months pregnant with Caylee and when Rick asked Cindy about it she said Casey told her she wasn't pregnant then proceeded to say, "She would have to have sex to be pregnant."

Rick Plesea forwarded all of his emails to detectives.



CASEY DOCUMENTS TALK OF CHLOROFORM, NECK-BREAKING AND INCEST


Nearly 700 pages of evidence released in the Casey Anthony case contain disturbing internet searches, a accusation of a frame-up and allegations of potential incest in the Anthony family.

The investigation has brought out accusations Casey had been making against those closest to her, namely that her father George has abused her, and that her brother Lee made inappropriate sexual advances toward her once when she was in junior high. The documents show Casey said her mother Cindy did not believe that to be true.

The newly released court documents show Casey Anthony searched for information on chloroform, types of shovels and neck-breaking on her computer in the time before her young daughter Caylee disappeared.

The documents reveal that Casey searched those items in March, at the same time she was also looking on missing children web sites. Casey reported her daughter missing in June. Casey claims she left Caylee with a babysitter but that person has never been found and Casey now stands charged with Caylee’s murder.

I think these letters show that the whole family is an always has been pretty dysfunctional. If Cindy's an enabler, then probably she was raised to be one by a mother who's also an enabler, etc....

And if you have to disown your kids, well, news flash--they probably didn't have the best upbringing or examples to learn from, or they'd be making better choices.

His tone with her IMO reveals the way communication works in that family. I don't blame him for being so exasperated with her, though. The lies are so absurd it's hard to believe a person could believe any of them the way Cindy claims to.

You'd think that after she lied about the check, lied about her job, and lied about whether or not she was pregnant, Cindy would have learned to question Casey's stories.

I agree. My hat's off to Rick for his blunt conversations with Cindy. He tried every way he could to make her see the light. His frustration is natural and understandable. Seems to me he is the only family member besides his mom in that whole family who actually thinks straight. (He was somewhat rude at times, but frustration can bring that out in a person.)

I honestly can't say what I would do publically.  But privately I would be very very honest with my sister - I guess we just don't "communicate" that way in our family. 

If my child did something so very henious, I would hope and pray that my own family did not attack me publically.  You say you would be "Rick" - but would you really blog about it?  I can personally tell you his mother was so upset about it.  She said Rick was always a jerk.  Did he ever consider his own elderly parents feelings?  Just asking out loud!!

As I said, I understand the honest, yet frustrated emails Rick sent to his sister perfectly and in most ways, I applaud him for that.

But NO, I would NOT blog about it at all. I would try to keep my life private. However, we have never (thankfully) been in these positions, so it is difficult to speculate how we would react. But I cannot imagine myself blogging about it if I were in Rick's position.

I guess I would understand his emails more if he actually had a relationship with the Anthonys and more importantly his great neice.  But Rick is and has always been a jerk.  I wish his ex wife Pam would expose the truth about him.  He too has many skeletons in his closet.  ( I agree, no one has gone physically missing from his house) however many will bear the scars of his BS.  IMO - he wasn't trying to reach Cindy - he just took this tragedy as chance to get even with her.

Sorry, but I have to give props to Rick. He at least had the courage to try to introduce the Ants to reality. As I was reading his stuff, I was laughing, thinking that if my family were in the same situation, every single one of my brothers and sisters would be talking to me like that, egged on by my mom.

Whatever Rick's history, he at least knows reality. I don't think we should attack the messanger when we don't care for the message. I'm glad he spoke up.

I also can't believe how many people have told them to shut up, and they just keep ignoring them, OCSD, FBI, Nejame, Rick, her mom..... and I am sure that there are more. The only one who seems to have taken the advice is Lee.

Speaking of Lee, I reallly don't believe the story that Lee did anything sexual to Casey. I think she told this story, and the George abused her some how just as a sympathy ploy so that the guy du jour would feel sorry for her. She may have started that LIE early on as an explanation as to why she wasn't a virgin.  I could see her telling that story in a heartbeat.

I am sure he is - we all are.  Did he mention his role in that family?  Did he tell you that his eldery mother was devasted with what he has done?  Did he say why CA other 2 brothers have not come forward to explain the family dynamics?

Although Casey is the sort to lie with or without a reason, there are several reasons I think it could be true.

1) Lee didn't want to give DNA, and now that he's had to, he's skipped town.
2) LP said that the DNA in the banded hair had more than a 50% match to Casey, which isn't possible unless the father's a relative.
3) Lee's attitude towards Caylee, and this whole thing, has been odd all along. His anger at Casey for getting pregnant sounds like it could have been about fear of exposure, and like he thought maybe she got pregnant on purpose.
4) Jesse Grund is used to Casey's lies, yet he felt the need to pass this story on.
5) Cindy "didn't believe" Casey, and she always believes Casey's lies. Ergo this one could be the truth.
6) I've known several brother/sister incestuous couples, and these two fit the "profile." It's just not that uncommon a thing, especially given their upbringing and how narcissistic the whole family is. They don't seem to worry about doing something wrong, so much as they worry about getting caught.

And finally, Casey's remark that "this should have been done a long time ago," never struck me as being about calling the police, but rather more of a reference to Caylee, and how she should have gotten rid of her a long time ago, either by putting her up for adoption or aborting her.

I don't think anybody really needed any explanation for why she wasn't a virgin at 19. If she was lying when she told the story, it was probably to get out of going home.

I can imagine that George's life is SO bad that that would be the reason he was seen out driving around Orlando today with his "Where's Caylee?" sign.  Pretty sad...considering it's Thanksgiving and that we know Caylee is dead...it seems as though he's desparate to get out of the house and away from Cindy.

OK, we need a time out here. Obviously you know some dirt on Rick. I vote you either just tell us what you know or stop implying stuff. I'm not saying this in a nasty-Planet-Of-The-Apes way, but you keep smeering him and I don't know why. Rick did not do this. He, and so far only he, of that family seems to have a grasp on reality. I'm not saying him blogging about this case was the right thing to do, but it's done, so there's not much sense in debating the rightness or wrongness of his actions. Thanks to him, we understand a little better how the Ants operate.

The feeling I get from your posts about him is that he's not a good guy, so we should not pay any attention to what he says. Even the guys in the black hats speak the truth...sometime.

Sometimes....I think that Casey thought Caylee would be found by now....and that she thought she had things set up to blame the nanny, blame someone who she might have given a key to one time, etc.  Does Casey sit in jail in wonderment that Caylee hasn't been found? 

Now she's going to have to resort to blaming Lee, blaming dysfunction in the family...probably blaming Cindy for Caylee's death...just watch...no telling what kind of crap will come out from the defense attorneys.  But you can bet your sweet bippie that it's gonna be a doozy!  Has to be....they don't have any other way to defend Casey.

I have some reservation regarding the bogging route that Rick took but ... handing over email exchanges between him and Cindy to authorities was the right thing to do.  Let investigators determine if Cindy and Rick's words are relevant to the cause of justice for Caylee Marie.

I think Rick was trying to shock Cindy into reality and if I were he, I would do the same thing.  Rick likely loved little Caylee as did probably the rest of Cindy's family.  The fact that we haven't heard from them doesn't mean they don't care.  I have no way of knowing how his family feels and I seriously doubt that anyone else on this board does either.  How do we know his elderly mother was devastated?  If she were devastated, I would say that it would have been caused by Casey killing her great granddaughter and not Rick's words.  They can't compare in the devastation they would cause. 

The guilt lies with Casey and IMO Cindy.  Not Rick.  I doubt that he has murdered anyone.

We don't need a time out and there was no implying.  You took what mytime said the wrong way because you're not used to the way she posts.  She's not smearing Rick.  She doesn't personally know any dirt on Rick.  She was just posting the things that his mother said about him.

My speculation had been that the chloroform search was all about making a solution to clean the inside of the trunk of Casey's vehicle prior to abandoning it at Amscot.  However ... considering the date of the search rules out my theory.

On March 17, someone used the Anthonys' home computer to do Google searches for peroxide, shovels, acetone, alcohol and how to make chloroform. Traces of chloroform, which is used to induce unconsciousness, were found in the trunk of Casey Anthony's car during forensic testing by a Tennessee lab.

Wasn't there reference to going to parties and drugging Caylee to sleep?  Personally I haven't heard of too many "parties" (just pretty much clubbing) that she went to since she met Tony by the end of May .. then Caylee went missing the middle of June ...

The "guy" GA is talking about is the guy from the tow yard.  GA said the tow yard guy said this as they were looking in the trunk of the car to try to determine the cause of the smell. 

Does it sound to anyone else like this statement that I put in bold sounds like the guy at the tow yard tried to clean the trunk of the car to get rid of the smell before George took the car home ??

I understand that, Brandi.  And yes, it makes sense, seems that everything else Casey has said has been lie on top of lie on top of lie. 

It could also be, IMO, that the lies have caught up with the reality of the Anthony family dynamics, and what we are seeing lately might just be the sad sad truth in that family.  Could be what all the lies have been built on, to cover up, to hide. 

Does any of this latest news excuse what Casey has very likely done to Caylee?  Nope.  May help to explain how she got to the point she did, and that's all. 

I started this case reading over at InSession (CTV), and gave my theory from the start, that there possibly *could have been* sexual abuse in the Anthony family from one or more of the males toward one or more of the females.  My theory was not looked on kindly and I left before I could be banned from there.  Folks just could not wrap their minds around the fact that incest and abuse of any kind CAN AND DOES happen in homes across America and beyond.  We don't know for sure if any of this has happened in the Anthony family.  And yet, it IS a *possibility*. 

I won't say for sure 100% positive, cuz we as on-lookers don't know that.  (Plus given the fact that there are so many lies in this case).  I will say tho, that every piece of the puzzle we get, as we begin to move the pieces around to see what fits, it's sure looking more and more like the reality in that family.

Doc 6....API Robert Roy talked to Cindy's mother and father. Alot of the info with the father was blacked out, and then it read Mr. Pleasa was not aware of the accusations. Then the entire next page is blank. I am sure curious about this, I wonder if Casey accused her grandpa of something. Also part of Cindy's mothers statements were blacked out also. ::MonkeyShocked::

The incest has definitely surfaced more than once.  The fact that LEE was refusing the DNA, was an indication that there was something to hide ( what everyone was possibly thinking all along).  I was surprised not to see a FBI video of LEE's interview, as thought that was so very important as well.  Continuing on this topic, has anyone seen any evidence in the docs that shows that there was semen in the trunk.  I do not know where I had read this...maybe someone just speculating, but wanted to follow up and see if anyone has noticed this in the docs.  ::MonkeyConfused::

I have been able to access the first 4 parts on CFNEWS.  Went to Wesh to get the remainder and after the 4th doc...it said that file was damaged and unable to load.  Has anyone else found this when trying to access.  If so, where can I find the remainder of the files?

I don't think it has anything whatsoever to do with the Months, etc.  It is a privacy, security reason.  Supposed they interviewed you, would you want your phone number, address or SS# published all over the internet?  Never know what other witnesses or the Anthony's may decide to further.  Besides, nowadays there is just too much internet scams, fraud of credit cards ect that are taking place, and you can't beeee tooooo  cautious.

I thought the same thing. Makes Rick sound as bad as Cindy. Some families are like that, though.
I noticed in one email from SP, (Cindy's mom,) to her dtr-in-law, (Rick's wife).... she states, "Cindy is as nuts as Casey." I thought that was very interesting.
And Rick mentioned Nate... wasn't there also a friend of Casey's named Nate? In one email to Cindy he says something about Nate even going on t.v. Makes me wonder.

We went to a niece's home with some of hubby's family, and had WAY too much to eat!! Even got some leftovers to take home. I'm the only one who ever makes candied sweet potatoes, and that's what they all want me to bring. They never had them growing up for some reason.
I will not want another meal until sometime tomorrow.

I haven't seen the documents to see how long the phone call was, but it is possible that Cindy called and left a voicemail and really didn't talk to Casey personally. How long was the phone call, does that say in the docs?

Janet, Rick also mentioned a Nate in his emails to Cindy... talked about problems with him and his first wife, Pam. Said they finally kicked him out. I wonder if this Nate and the one who was on t.v. are the same? I just read some references in one of Rick's emails about Nate going on t.v. Could they be the same guy??

I don't think they are the same guy. The Nate on TV was the guy staying at Tony's apartment, but then went on Greta and said he had moved out of the apartment. And that Tony was po'd that Nathan or Nate or whatever his name is went on the TV that night and they are no longer friends.

FWIW there is a Nate Plesea in Warren Ohio ... 28 yrs old ... don't know if he could be the "disowned" son ... or perhaps he is no relative at all ...

Nate is not a common name.  At least I do not think so.  We know a few Nathaniels and ... only one is referred to as Nate ... the others are Nathans.

If you read the Nancy Grace transcript ... "Nate" only identifies himself as as Tony's roommate.

I do not know but ... I suspect it is not the same "Nate".

If Caylee had been put in the spare tire well of the trunk and covered w/the trunk "carpet" would decomp fluids soak up into the carpet?  Enough to cause a stain? Anyone know?

When eldest son was 19 years old ... attending university and ... working a part time job ... one morning he runs back upstairs in a panic and ... proceeds to tell his Dad and I that his precious Datsun 510 was on blocks in the carport ... his wheels had all been stolen.

He proceed to put in a claim to the insurance company but in the meantime "another" set of wheels emerged.  Son claimed they came from friend's Datsun 510.  I believed him but ...  hubby was sure they were the original wheels that had been painted.  However ... he remained silent.

Anyways ... when Hubby considered his suspicions and ... that for months son had been drooling over a special set of wheels that were for sale in a catalogue ...

Hubby phoned friend's father and ... asked if the stored Datsun 510 was missing a set of wheels.  Friend's father check the garage and ... stated that stored Datsun 510 were not missing any wheels.

Long story short.  mytime ... it is at this point my grown kids say ... "Too late, Mom".

mytime ... were soooo mean.  Hubby phoned insurance adjuster ... reported the fraud and ... was told to have son phone the next day.  When son came home from school that evening ... we went up one side of him and down the other.  Rick's words to Cindy were nothing in comparison.  Watching a 19 year old young man on the verge of tears and in a panic regarding the legal ramifications of his actions ... is not a pretty site.

Hey ... we love our son unconditionally even if our thoughts could kill but ... there was no way that we were going to abet his wrongdoing in anyway by shielding him from the consequences of his actions.  If our son were to think that the established legal boundaries did not apply to him ... what would his next act of wrongdoing esculate to?

In other words ... strongly confronting a loved one in the act of wrongdoing ... in the act of denial ... is not mean ... it is love.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony will spend this Thanksgiving alone, in the Orange County Jail.

Officials say the Anthony family will not visit Casey today, and Casey did not request any visitors or phone calls for the holiday.

Instead, she will dine with other prisoners on turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and bread and butter. For dessert, Casey will have a slice of pumpkin spice cake.

We've also learned Casey's father, George Anthony, spent part of his Thanksgiving alone as well.

George was seen driving by himself around downtown Orlando and Winter Park towing his "Where is Caylee billboard."

I think Rick HAD to say it, he had seen enough denial (pregnancy) and lies.  Someone HAD to tell Cindy those things. I dont blame him.  I would have had to say some of those things if I were him. How much tongue biting can one do? Sadly Cindy fell into more denial weeks after Rick had written that.

What he wrote does not surprise or shock me. I come from a harsh family.  My mom's side of the family was always bickering and fighting with eachother.

OK the Give them to goodwill part totally cracked me up. Yep he is an a$$ for saying something like that. He'll regret it when he falls in love, gets married and realizes you fall in love with your kids no matter what sex. (hopefully) I know some guys that say this initially, till their hearts melt over a daughter.

Wow...so much to read today.  I have not gotten to it all, although we stayed home this Thanksgiving and did not have visitors.  My hubby has been working so much lately that he needed a rest, so we just kept it simple.

You guys have probably talked about this so forgive me if it is  repeat.

First, Cindy said on a tv interview that the much-reported sighting of Caylee by someone at an Orlando airport/airplane had not been investigated properly because the child in question was non-ticketed, a lap-sitter. 

I fly a lot and I was under the impression that all children, even infants, these days had to have tickets and be in a seat.  No more lap flyers flying for free.  Is this incorrect? I did nto know there was an airline today who would let a child who was nearly three sit on an adult's lap and not have a ticket.  I thought safety issues changed all that.

Also the story had changed.  It used to be a woman and her son saw and talked to Caylee who conveniently gave her name to them.  Now it is a "doctor" who noticed Caylee because she kept kicking the back of his seat.

Second, the emails between Cindy and her brother show that she does not have a good relationship with him for sure and that she won't level even with her own flesh and blood.  I think the threats to kick everybody's a$$ is getting a bit tiresome, and it is not at all helpful to her cause when she is trying to present herself as a patient, Earth Mother.

I was reading a thread over on WS yesterday and the way i understood it Ricardo was saying some girl was coming over but he didn't want to be with her he would rather be with Casey. I thought that's odd they are broke up at that time am I reading this right? but then I got a call about the Doc dump and have been busy with that.

I don't know if George or Lee abused KC  but someone did. At an early age to, someone in a trusted position, close family friend, neighbor, cousin ,someone older than her. That comment by the fired cop that she got up and left immediately after ..leaving him to feel like the girl points to it. I see so many indicators of it in KC. Even in her relationship with CA. Does not excuse what she did .... but that is there... a lifetime of therapy can't fix her.....

Dropping in to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

I've read the docs and in spite of all the controversy and shock of some of the pages, I must say that I really enjoyed the email exchanges between the sisters. They were a pleasant surprise in the midst of a painful reading.

Those emails brought back such precious memories of letters the elderly women in our family used to send each other.
I can't recall a single letter that was read aloud when I was a child that didn't include the current weather. 

What a sharp contrast between the communication of siblings in these documents:  sisters sharing delight in the daily routine and a brother/sister who exchanged venom.

What is really interesting to me is in one of the newspaper articles Cindy's mom supposedly told cops that "Caylee was her life and without Caylee Cindy might have taken her own life."

I just have never thought that Cindy's attempts to paint the family as loving and wholesome were anywhere near true.  I think they were and are highly dysfunctional and while it sounds good to say that "Caylee was her life," that is not such a good thing if the child is a vehicle to keep the grandmother from doing something desperate.

I have said from the beginning that the family dynamics seem to have caused or accelerated this tragedy.  No telling what has gone on in that house behind closed doors.  We all have our problems, secrets and perhaps even skeletons in the closet, but using a child as a pawn is not "love" -- it is neediness on a grand scale.

Maybe Casey was literally driven nuts by her mother.  Personally, I don't think Cindy had a prayer of getting custody of Caylee.  Lots of people who lie, steal, cheat and can't hold a job have their kids.  But she may have convinced Casey that she was going to get custody.

There is no denying Casey was a problematic daughter.  But I think Cindy refused to let her grow up and live her own life.  And we all have a right to do that once we hit eighteen. 

Casey is a classic case of arrested development, probably caused by not having to be held accountable for anything.  Pre-teens and immature teens draw hearts and write their names as Mrs. So-and-so.  That is not something a mature 22 year old does about a guy just has just known a couple of weeks.

I can understand Tony's remark about wanting to have boys because he saw his sisters growing up.  Many people say that girls are more difficult to raise than boys for a variety of reasons.  It was just a remark and probably had nothing to do with his true feelings about parenthood.  And I am sure he did not intend to diss Caylee.  But Casey does not process information the way most of us do, and she was in a very vulnerable position, which he did not realize.  He thought she had money and a job and was a happy girl.  He did not know she had no job and not even a high school diploma and had left or been kicked out by her mother.

I don't expect Cindy to have handled everything with complete mastery, because her life has been pretty chaotic.  But how can she not afford a divorce?  If both parties want a divorce and there is not much money involved, it is not that big a deal these days.  Also, since he was not working at the time, he was contributing little or nothing to the family bank account.  And wasn't he the one who filed for divorce anyway?

The part about someone looking up "neck breaking" and "home weapons" shortly before Caylee disappeared is very troubling.  How does Cindy explain that one?  Someone in her family home was looking up those topics and then her granddaughter disappeared.  Is she going to step forward and say she looked it up herself?

I know she is shocked and heartbroken that Caylee is gone and her daughter is in jail, but sooner or later, she has to deal with the reality of this situation. 

I thought about this too. I reckon she will come up with, it was for the safety of Caylee (ya know Casey was all about safety).....or...... in case an intruder breaks in......

Your post about the divorce, I did read George initiated it. Cindy is a controlling person. Controlling people do not have spouses divorce them. They do the divorcing she would have it no other way imo.

I am listening to the "raw video" in which a reporter asks Cindy about what Garrison said and my God, she literally does not take a breath, she talks and talks and talks like a windup toy.  She goes around and around and around in answering the question.  I just asked if she is afraid of being arrested, and she is yapping more than ever now.  She sure sounds like a broken record and a very defensive broken record, too.  Now she knows what it is like to be accused.  She has been tossing people under the bus and now someone tossed her under the bus and she is very very defensive.  She also sounds like a woman on the very edge of a complete breakdown.

Hudsunn, I really enjoy your posts and you seem to really hit things on the head.  Do you or any monkeys think the reason Casey got rid of Caylee, knowing what we know now about Casey riding her name like a school girl with Tony's last name, and Tony not wanting girls could have been 'the' motive?  Could this just be another Susan Smith case?  Even though we know Casey's relationship with CA is not good, but do you think that once Caylee was out of the way, Casey was more appealing to Tony?  And it looks as if she alledgely was thinking about this plan months ahead of time.

That is not right. she wants to everybody to believe that she learned to count in spanish from the nany. How Casey knew that Caylee could count in spanish up to 45, it is impossible because she does not know spanish or maybe she had a mini dictionary in spanish with her. If it is true can be possible that she really had a nanny was hispanic

Ya know, was just sitting here thinking about the docs and the things we've learned from them.

Remember discussing a while back that on this past Father's Day only seemed to have been celebrated with Cindy's father, not so much with George as a dad/grandpa.  I wondered about that then.  Wondered why it doesn't seem that Casey made much fuss over him on that day, with Caylee being nearly three, I would have thought she'd just be getting into the idea of 'special days' like that. 

Fast forward to the last couple days.  IF it's true, as reported elsewhere, that Casey and George didn't get along well, i guess it does make sense for her not to celebrate father's day with him.  If George had abused Casey in any way, makes even more sense.  The thought crossed my mind too, that someone very likely *could have been* abusing/sexually abusing Caylee as well. 

To ignore father's day in that case makes total sense to me.  To be looking for ways of self-defense, yep makes sense.  To be angry enough to be thinking in terms of 'if he tries it one more time', then justifiable homicide of the abuser, makes sense too.  ----> IMO <----  To look back at George's odd behaviors which have seemed sooooo out of control and out of proportion to the circumstances, yep even that seems to make more sense.  When looking at it in this light.  Guilt can do a number on someone.  Especially when finding themselves being backed into a corner. 

Does ANY of it change the fact that there is a precious lil angel who is likely one of God's newest angels?  No.  Knowing the actual truths of the Anthony family will not bring Caylee back.  :( 

And I kind of wonder also, could this doc dump have been released as another means of distraction from anything else going on right now?  Is there something happening or about to happen that they'd rather the public didn't notice? 

Also... Could Lee be in a type of witness protection program, (maybe protection from Cindy's wrath?  lol) perhaps having fessed up early on with info he may know or even be guilty of and been given immunity in exchange for his testimony?

To be honest with you ... I don't find the fact that Casey didn't spend time w/her Father on Fathers Day strange at all ... It was stated several times on her myspace pages that she did not like to be around him ... one reference was even made to Lee buying her beer (before she turned 21) and bring it to a family picnic so that she could "deal w/him" (George)  sorry don't have the link ...

I think the doc's were just released as part of "discovery" ... no real reason on the "timing" IMO

I remember a case from Texas, Riley Ann Sawyers.  When it was time for her remains to be buried. The mother was in jail, and she had custody.  She had to release her remains to be brought back to Ohio, even though the bio father lived in Ohio.  So, I would say that Casey would be the one to decide on the remains, as she was the custodial mother.

But we have posted stuff like that about Cindy here. Reading the whole correspondence, it's not hard to see how Cindy got to be the way she is, IMO.

We've posted a lot worse things than suggesting Cindy's heading for the mental hospital.

I think it's really sweet that there are families where a brother wouldn't talk to a sister like that. That's the way it ought to be, but very rarely is.

On Sesame Street there used to be a song that counted to 20 in Spanish, and then a new version of the same song took it to 45. If they had Sesame Street DVD's, then probably Caylee knew the song and could sing it.
