So if my thoughts are in the ballpark of what happened (Caylee died in the room the night of the fight), Casey could have wrapped her up in the bedding and disposed of her.. why naked and wrapped up with bedding, though? Surely the clothes would have been easy enough to replace, just like the bedding may have been  ::MonkeyConfused::  There's a bathroom right off Casey's room, right? Perhaps Casey was giving Caylee a bath, and drowned her? So she would have been naked anyway? And you know.. if cadaver dogs hit by the pool, could it have been because at some point, Casey wanted to make it seem like it was an accidental drowning, to explain why fluid was in the lungs?

I posted near the end of the last thread about talking to Murph, a friend of Lee's on Topix.

She was very defensive of Lee and what a good guy he was.

I asked her why he wanted to hold up the investigation by not volunteering his DNA?  She said because he is a SMART BOY.

I don't take much stock in what these supposed "friends" of the Anthony family say.  Who would want to admit they are friends with this family? and who wants to be their free spokesperson.

I'm gonna assume that most of these "friends" of the Anthony family are TROLLS.  Way too many people get off on coming into these forums and stirring up emotions.  Pshaw! I say.

I still don't believe that Cindy forced Casey to bear a child.  I don't think either parent could force Casey to do much of anything.  Remember Cindy's brother Rick saying Casey was already seven months pregnant and they didn't even know about it.

Abortion on demand has been around for several years, I think about five, without parental consent.  I believe Casey would know all about things like that and this was yet another of her ploys for attention.

Turned out to be a game she couldn't quit and a lifelong commitment she couldn't deal with.  It's just another of her lies.

I was also thinking the condition of the body (w/ the tape) is probably why she wouldn't take the plea deal.  She must have known if she led them to the body the body would show it was not an accident.

OK, Monks, glad I made it to the new cage finally! Gotta go for awhile, dinner, life etc. Will be back in a couple of few hours though!

2:00 p.m.: News 13 has confirmed Kid Finders Network is suspending its search for Caylee Anthony.

12:40 p.m.: Sheriff's Office says FBI will work all weekend long to try to positively identify the remains found Thursday.

12:03 p.m.: Prosecutors agree that crime scene needs to be made available to defense team once they have completed their investigation.

11:59 a.m.: Judge denies Baez's motion to have defense team expert present during any forensic examination.

11:58 a.m.: OCSO say there has not been a tentative identification.

11:56 a.m. : Kenney Baden said Orange County sheriff called Jose Baez and said that anthropological measurements and hair color of the remains found matched that of Caylee Anthony.   Defense team said the motion should apply to tentative identification as well.

11:52 a.m.: Prosecutors ask judge that even if remains are linked to Caylee Anthony, the defense should not have a right to attend testing of any evidence.

11:46 a.m.: Prosecutors say defense does not have standing to make this motion since the remains have not yet been identified..

11:44 a.m.: Kenney Baden team says it wants to be the first to see the evidence from the crime scene after the state.

11:43 a.m.: Kenny Baden says they will file a motion for the crime scene.

11:41 a.m.: Attorneys Jose Baez, Linda Kenney Baden and the rest of the defense team wants world-renowned anthropologists and a medical examiner to observe the autopsy for the defense team.

11:40 a.m. : Judge Stan Strickland says crime scene will not be discussed.  Strickland says the motion will deal with DNA testing and the autopsy.

11:31 a.m.: George and Cindy Anthony's new attorney, Bradley A. Conway is spotted in the courtroom for the hearing.

11:30 a.m.: The emergency hearing to determine if defense team's expert can be present during forensic testing begins.

8:34 a.m.: Investigators tell News 13 they believe they have found everything they needed in the Anthony home search.  The home is no longer considered a crime scene, and the Anthonys can now return to their home.

7:46 a.m.: Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said investigators found something of interest at the Anthony's home. Investigators are not saying what the key item is.

7:01 a.m.: Investigators return to scene where skeletal remains were discovered.

I saw on MSNBC a brief interview of the Dateline guy about tonight's show.  In it, CA says something like 'our investigators have found that everything KC has said is true' ??? -

Either she's flat out lying or her "investigators" are lying ... interesting as we have had new developments since that statement was made.

I still think the Anthony's will now come out with a whole scenario where Zanny or Zanny disciples killed Caylee ... why would they bring her back so close to her home I ask?  They will say - to send a message.  I say if they were brazen enough to kidnap a child - kill and child - they also would have been brazen enough to dump her body in KC's front yard.

Out of curiousity, just how are all these legal high priced experts getting paid? Casey has been in jail so its not like she could have stole anyone's check book.

IMO they hired a new defense attorney because they think they are going to need one!  I also think ... LE will not ever charge them no matter what they have done or said ... at the end of the day they were Caylee's GPs and the monsters parents.

I posted information on last thread about the official statements filed by the guys who were on the news saying they had come across an area that was off Suburban in Sept. The statements are in Part 15 , page 27 starts statements from 5 people. Anyway on pg 34 is the Report Routing and Affadavitt Form which looks like the cover sheet for the statements.

No I'm not saying that at all.... although who knows. I'm saying, that Cindy claims Casey and Caylee stayed the night, following the fight.. which she claims never happened.  I think Casey was pissed off about what happened, and that pretty much put her over the edge. I don't necessarily think she had the date of June 15th/16th planned out... a death may have been planned, but not necessarily THAT date and time.  I think the fight was the breaking point for her.  I thought that Caylee usually stayed in Casey's room.  I also thought that Casey had her own bathroom off the bedroom (a private bath).  Could Casey have drowned Caylee in the bathtub? (Could this be why she might have been "testing" a drowing scenario? Since water would have been in the lungs? Better to make it look like an accidental drowing, than a homicide).  This might explain why Caylee was w/out clothes...  and Caylee wrapped her up with blankets instead of a towel.

A few posts back here someone mentioned "zani disciples" made me think that now the A's can blame all of us for Caylees death. They warned us that there was danger, and all the news coverage and forcing them into the public eye is why these non existent kidnappers have killed Caylee.

On TruTV this afternoon, they showed a press conference held today with the defense team. Baez was asked who is paying him, he replied that it is nobody's business who is paying him. That it was "confidential."

I think the reason they hired a defense attorney is that one of them tried to clean the car and possibly cover up who knows what else.  If it is found that they helped cover up something I think they should get charged.  I know they lost a beautiful granddaughter but that doesn't make them immune from charges.  IMO

Upon the forensic exam if the ME finds trauma with the base of a skull and the spine as if a neck was snapped (ie comp searches for broken neck) Casey is going to have a real issue.

The duct tape around the skull IMO is an effort to make the death look like a kidnapping and that a stranger did it. Although if as reports state, there was material in the bag that tied back to the Anthony home, that we be an easy connect the dots.

Defenses biggest problem is they have a dead child found less than a mile from home, human decomposition in Casey's trunk, the smell of death and a pathological lying suspect that never came forward to say her child was missing.

The defense was banking on no body.

There was a lady here last summer who ran a day care out of her house.  She got tired of a two year old boy talking and whining, she put duct tape over his mouth, he died.  She is serving time now.

Oh I am sure they will find a local CNN affiliate in FL to do the interview. No one really ever has to go to the actual location of the show unless one wants an all expense paid air fair and hotel room is LA.

While the Anthonys were flying back from California from doing their appearance on LK Wednesday, it was announced that they would appear on Friday also. This was yesterday, when the body had just been found.

I understand that the Anthonys had been told before they boarded the plane to come back that the body had been found.

Amazing to me that they are agreeing to be on the show tonight.

I don't understand how the A's could spend the night in that house.  So many things removed.  One of the experts said they might have even taken carpet samples -- cut out sample.  The remote possibility that Caylee was harmed in the house.  So many reminders.  I don't get it.

I was over at WS looking for an answer about the lady who took the garbage, and started to read a thread started by someone who has very close ties to Tim Miller. Evidently when Casey was given the news yesterday, her face turned red, she crumbled to her knees and said,"Oh God, this can't be happening." Yes Casey it is happening.

Sources: Casey's Parents May Eventually Face Charges

Friday, December 12, 2008 – updated: 5:29 pm EST December 12, 2008
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Sources close to the case told Eyewitness News that Casey's parents, George and Cindy, may someday face criminal charges. Sources tipped Eyewitness News off that George and Cindy Anthony checked into the luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Eyewitness News has learned the sheriff's office is looking into charging the Anthonys with obstruction of justice.

Rooms go for about $300 a night at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and sources say they Anthonys had dinner at Normans on Thursday night, where dinner could cost $100 a person. The Anthonys recently hired attorney Brad Conway to replace Mark NeJame.

Conway could not tell Eyewitness News who is paying for the room, but said the Anthonys needed peace and quiet.

"They want to be left alone. They want to grieve and go through the process without the publicity that's been focused on them so long," Conway said.

The Anthonys have spent months insisting Caylee is alive, but with the news of the remains Conway said they are prepared to accept Caylee may be dead.

"They are realistic about the possibilities and about the fact that this is likely Caylee, but continue to pray that likely it's not," Conway said.

In the meantime, sources told Eyewitness News investigators are building a case against the Anthonys. They may face obstructions of justice charges.

Conway said he's talked to the State Attorney's Office and is not aware of any pending charges and maintains the Anthonys have done nothing wrong.

"Anytime the sheriff's office cordons your house and serves a search warrant, there are a potential for charges. I don't know what the sheriff's office has in mind, but the Anthonys have cooperated fully and will continue to cooperate," Conway said

Well, this case has surely broken and I don't see any more room for deniability by Casey. My guess she looks for a plea and never faces a trial - and gets life.

This document goes with the 5 statements of the guys who reported to LE suspicious area found off Suburban...dirt scattered, line coming out, dug with hands but got to a pipe and never the end of the rope. They came back with a shovel the next day but evidently called the police since that date was 9/12.

The sheet filled out advises hard copies of statements are attached..Sworn Statements-5. Those seem to be the only documents that go with this sheet.

I believe all the cleaning is left up to Cindy and George...

Reading through the posts and wondering what could have been found last night that would immediately tie the remains to the house. It seemed to be an almost immediate thing.   Being the self important person that Casey thinks she is, what would she put with Caylee.  My thought is she put a picture of herself -- mommy.  I would think a frame and the bag might have protected a picture.

I will be elated if charges are brought up against them!

On Fox News earlier they had a reporter who was on the scene that was discussing what HE saw them doing in the middle of the night. He said that they were taking many pictures from the back yard and that it looked like Paparatzi snapping photos back b/c of all the flashes.

Casey was hoping the body would not be found before the trial and she would be acquitted or at least get a short sentence.  They could not try her again for the same crime.  But the body is now found.  Since that area might have been developed soon, the body could have been rolled over and crushed by a big earth moving machine or even buried under fill dirt.  It might have gone unfound for a long time or maybe forever if houses had been built over it.  I like to think that Providence intervened.

The only one I feel sorry for is Caylee and her father's family - pity that they never got to know her or have a chance to protect her.

If it were my grandchild's body found I would not be in a public anything..I would be grieving. I think this shows the A's knew all along that Caylee was dead and they did their grieving in private like the times Cindy said she went to Caylee's room, sat there and cried some times.

My dad died unexpectedly over 20 years ago..fell out of his chair with a heart attack. I can remember I was so much in shock I didnt' even drink water for 2 days much less eat. These people have known she was dead.

His previous "missteps" were brought up before Fidler during Spector ... IMO that's why he didn't testify.  It may not be brought in "at trial" - but I bet it's brought up before the judge prior to being allowed to put him on the stand.

Actually Casey was a scatterbrain who did not think 5 minutes ahead.

Also, being a subdivison it is more likely that heavy equipmwnt like bulldozers, loaders and logging equipment would have come in first and landfill would have been brought in by dump trucks. That would have taken place first. And with that, the plastic bag would have been buried forever.

They could have spent the night with family or friends if they hadn't coddled Casey all her life.

It's out there.  You need to go back to when the old Trust was closed because of complaints.  To refresh your memory, NeJame provided an accounting of the old Trust, which left some unanswered questions. Then the new Trust was established. The last time I checked the current Trust infomation was on the Caylee website.  You will need to Google to find the Trust documents, I don't have them handy.

I read your post, OriginalKat, and for some reason it made me think of the recent Jennifer Hudson case.  Jennifer lost her mother, brother, AND nephew...but we haven't heard a single word from her or seen her.  This is how normal people grieve..they are in shock...they don't go on talk shows, nightly.  Shame on the Anthonys!

They should be taken to Caylee's remains so they can see what kind of daughter they raised...Show them a few pictures,etc...They better do something soon because they may be locked up shortly..

perhaps you are on to something here, maybe caylee (who wasn't fully potty trained) had an "accident" at a really bad time for the Slore to have to deal with it,or clean her up, perhaps that explains the clothing missing. I do not want to think about how anger from Slore over the fight with Spindy could have caused Caylee's death, but it is common for parents to do terribly mean things to kids out of anger over "accidents" or as punishment.

I truly believe everything they've been doing has been an act orchestrated by Baez to boost Casey's chances of getting away with it. The Anthony's don't appear to be grieving because they've known for months about Caylee's death.

I would think that it would be easier (as Caylee was little) to choke her to death.. strangle her, and break that bone in the throat (I can't remember what it's called).  Often when people are strangled, that particular bone is broken.. almost a sure sign of what has happened.  ::MonkeyNoNo::  Unless she thought breaking Caylee's neck would be a faster way to kill her?

I do think Cindy was able to force Casey to have the baby, simply by threatening to withhold the things like housing, clothes, money, etc...that she was giving Casey, if Casey didn't do what she said.

Casey could have gotten an abortion. They're still legal. But where would she have gotten the money to pay for one? You have to pay up front, in cash, that day. There's no payment plan and no billing. So she would have had to find a way to get Cindy to give her the money, and that just wasn't gonna happen.  Maybe you're right, maybe she thought she wanted it. After all, she could probably have gotten the money out of Jesse, for an abortion, if she'd asked.

Rarely do they ever clean up after themselves after a search.  Even when things are broken, (as in doors etc to gain entry to a house, room, garage, shed, etc.) those are not usually fixed or anything. 

I'll be honest and say that I know this for fact, because of my oldest DS.  Because of something he had done, the swat team came screaming down on our house, just like on TV, in full gear, etc.  And after their search, nothing was cleaned up, nor the things broken fixed.  I will give them one thing tho.  Their entrance literally scared the crap out of one of our cats, and one of the swat team did stop long enough to clean that up off the floor.

Here I am crying on the couch and Dad's going to be OK. I just can't understand how the Anthony's are functioning and doing stuff? Good News Guys! I figured out what the problem was for some of you trying to access the chatroom. I was posting the long freaking link! I found one that is a direct link to the room so you should have no problems entering it now b.c I checked it on firefox where I am not logged in and the link works!!!

I am going to be streaming Jane Valez Mitchell at 7est again b/c she is covering the newest stuff in the Caylee Case. They don't have to. They can't get the remains until the state's done with them anyway, but there's absolutely no law that says they have to claim those remains. There is a law that the police have to give the remains to the family if they ask, but there's no law requiring the family to ask.

People are often cremated at state expense, especially poor people, and homeless people who are estranged from their families. There are peoples' unclaimed ashes in drawers all over the country. The receptacle is about the same size as a video cassette. The state doesn't provide a funeral or a memorial service, but they will dispose of the remains in the interests of public health.

The state doesn't provide funerals! That's up to the family & church. What the state provides, is cremation & storage. The "entire United States" might chip in to pay for a funeral, but in order to do that, they'd have to send the money to the Ants, and somehow I don't see people doing that. She will have whatever kind of burial her family wants her to have. I'm sure it will be quite a circus and that some "anonymous donor" will send them money to do it.

We're the same age. I'm from a small town in Tennessee and we probably got the handed down books years after they were abandoned elselwhere in the country. I met Spot, Jane, Sally, Dick and they all ran and I "saw" them do it.

now that Caylee has been found my prayers are that it can be clearly determined if her death was accidental or murder. I also prayed for the man who found her. That will haunt him for a long time even though finding her was a good thing

I understand what you're saying here, and trust me, many of us have discussed this.  Not sure that any of us know exactly what we would do unless/until we were in a situation like this.  I can tell you a few things I do know for FACT that I would NOT do! 

- I would NOT enable my child, for any reason.
- I would NOT say a damn thing to the media, beyond "no comment, thank you".
- I would NOT make the talk-show circuit.
- I would NOT turn the situation into a three-ring-circus.
- I would NOT show my face, unless/until absolutely necessary.

- I would find my child the best defense attorney possible.
- I would be encouraging said child to be honest, telling everything that happened.
- I would face reality, no matter how hard-hitting that reality might be. 

And I think there's plenty of monkeys who would do/not do the very same things.

The defense team is going to do all they can to say the forensic evidence was mishandled therefore you can't tell anything about the results in terms of who killed Caylee. The Anthonys will have room if they choose in their pea brains to go there; that Casey is innocent. The fact that Caylee is dead is going to be really hard to deny even for them.

ok i figured it out.
Zani broke in a month before and did the searches on Casey's computer to frame Casey.
Then she stole whatever connects the home to the body and placed it with the dead body to further frame Casey.
Casey didn't call police when Caylee was kidnapped b/c Zani promised her that she and Casey were only on a really long beer run and were going to meet them back at Fusion in 31 days.

The picture of the "wooden stick" thingy in the evidence bag appears to me to be corner molding. It's right-angle-shaped trim molding that is used to finish corners and edges. It's extremely difficult to clean behind/under molding. Blood or fluids that had seeped behind molding would still be available as evidence. I think this fits with carpeting being being removed from the house.

Yep. That's why Cindy's been losing weight. Probably the body being found marks the end of a long ordeal for her--knowing, but not knowing enough. Knowing Caylee's dead but not knowing how exactly she died or where she is or if and when they're going to find her. The body being found, horrible though it is, is probably kind of a relief for her--kind of the way it is for some of us.

This would imply that Caylee "bled" into the molding?  If she got caught up in a fight between Cindy and Caylee, I suppose she could have been hurt.  But I don't think Cindy knew when she made the 911 calls.

Maybe Caylee got caught up in the fight, was accidently thrown or pushed into the molding.  That would probably stop the fight.  Casey and Caylee go into Casey's bedroom, maybe to calm Caylee down.  Caylee could have been brain injured with something like a slow bleed.  Haven't people been known to just drop dead a day or two after a head injury?  Casey takes Caylee out, puts her to sleep the next night, with zannies or chloroform, and dies. 

I know, I am over tired, fried.  Just can't figure why they would take molding?

Somehow I doubt it. Not one extended family member has shown any concern for Caylee all this time. Nobody tried to help Cindy, when she was supporting the family with no help from George, and Casey turned up pregnant, either. I would venture a guess that they wouldn't want to be around "family and friends" right now anyway.

People are going to say they're complicit in the death of Caylee anyway. They went home because it's their home, and they can't afford to live at hotels all their lives.

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) -- A medical examiner found evidence among a child's remains that link them to the home of a missing toddler,
Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary said Friday, offering the strongest indication yet that the remains may be those of Caylee Marie Anthony.

Sheriff Beary told NBC's "Today" show that investigators searched the home early Friday after the medical examiner found "some clues that came out of the remains" that "linked it to the house." He did not elaborate on what those were.

The remains were found Thursday by a utility worker on a wooded lot less than a half-mile from the house where 3-year-old Caylee lived with her grandparents and her mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony.

If Linda Kenney-Baden's name sounds familiar, you may recognize her as an author,  trial attorney and legal commentator who has been involved in other high-profile criminal cases.

She recently represented music producer Phil Spector in a murder trial and offered analysis during the controversy surrounding the death of super model Anna Nicole Smith.   Her husband is forensic expert Dr. Michael Baden of the HBO series Autopsy. 

Kenney-Baden will be joining Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, in court at 11:30 a.m. Friday morning for an emergency hearing to preserve evidence gathered on Thursday.  The motion was filed by Baez on Thursday afternoon.  We will be streaming the hearing live on MyFoxOrlando.com.

"I'm concerned about my client, period.  We are requesting to have access to this information," said Baez. "As it [evidence] is being tested, we would like our people present, especially if it's destructive in nature by the testing."

Maybe they only took enough clothes & meds to last them for this little trip, and had to go back to get the rest of their stuff, and their prescriptions for refills, and obviously they picked up the dogs, so they probably don't intend to come back.

The hotel you stay in for one or two days, is usually more expensive than the one you pick when you know you're staying a long time.

Oh Janet, Ted and Sally were the friends of Dick and Jane.  I adored all of them.  We covered our heads with our coats and sat under our desks when the sirens went off.  If we keep this up, Klaas will send us all back to the NAH thread.

IMO because they signed a contract with Larry for 2 nights of coverage and they already got money for any pics or videos to be aired.They didn't go back to Cali to do the 2nd night,they went to a location in Florida.

Ok I have been reading and reading, how did we get the house being searched to the A;s not staying there because Caylee was killed there?????

maybe instead of the ritz-carlton, cindy & george check in to a holiday inn express.

I have been thinking about the bag and the reports of clothes found nearby.  If the bag was ripped while it was submerged or torn open by animals, it would account for the skull falling out even though Casey had secured the bag with duct tape.  I am wondering if animals did get to the remains and scattered them around the area.  That would be a reason for clothes being found outside of the bag.

Better for LE to go in alone IMO - But I am sure the ANTS will try to sue or something in the future ... I don't know how the Search Warrant was handled ... Maybe a Verbal Ok from the ANTS --- who knows

I didn't think they needed permission to execute a search warrant?  And I don't think the Anthony's had a right to be there either.  Maybe they could have asked to have their lawyer there but for what purpose.  If the police take anything not covered by the search warrant, it would not be admissible in court.

I don't know how the law works, but if a judge granted the warrent, I don't see how they can sue LE?  (I think it's hard to get a warrant? There must have been a really darn good reason for them to go into that house- evidence at the scene must have been really good).

I believe they had to "serve" the search warrant on the Anthony's ... which means they had to wait until the A's landed to serve them.  A search warrant does have to be specific in what they want ... but specific is a relative term ... such as:  cleaning supplies could be listed ... and several things can be considered "cleaning supplies".  The defense will go over these search warrants with a fine tooth comb if this goes to trial ... to kick out any possible evidence that they can.
