It was at the location the body was found.  LE found more bones and taking the bush she was found under in for evidence.

I think it is ironic that becasue Casey said Caylee was kidnapped, the FBI were called in....and now Caylee has all the resources of the FBI to help obtain justice for her. And because the FBI is handling the testing the defense is not allowed in the FBI Lab....KARMA for sure!! (I believe what I stated is true) ::MonkeyWink::

Good Morning and Happy Monday all !! I thought about you all a lot this weekend, and how kind you all were to me at the end of last week. I spent the weekend taking time to celebrate Our Heather's life, as well as Caylees. Since FL is so far I took flowers to Heathers grave for both girls and asked Heather to be sure that Caylee saw them.

Our Heather is a beautiful, loving, caring girl, and I know she took Caylee under her wings right away.

And again, I want to say thanks. This is an amazing group of people with the most loving hearts. It is shown daily with how much we all look out for each other, and how much love there is for Caylee.

FoxNews just said that other bones are actually being found at the site that may or may not be related to the remains discovered and believed to be Caylee's. I think there is much more going on here than we all suspected.

Conway was on cnn headline news answering questions. He says CA and GA are not grieving yet but are devastated. huh? He also said they are honest, good, middle class people. They are supporting KC and aren't visiting her because their visits are broadcasted to the public afterwards. He must be drinking the kool aid already.

Bones, Evidence Found As Area Near Skull Searched

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- FBI agents and investigators with the Orange County Sheriff's Office were back searching a wooded area Monday for more evidence after a child's skull was discovered by a utility worker Thursday morning. Sources close to the case told Eyewitness News that dozens of bones, which may or may not be related to the skull, and other evidence has been found.

Search teams were starting where the bag with the skull was found and were slowly moving out in circles around that spot. While others bones were found, there were no details released on what kind of bones they were or if they are connected to the child's skill that was found last week.

Eyewitness News has also learned other evidence has been recovered, but details on what the evidence was specifically have not been released. Crews were collecting whatever they find just in case it may be connected to the discovery of the skull.

A team of experts from the sheriff's office, the Orange County medical examiner and the FBI spent all weekend combing the woods for any more remains. Investigators sifted through buckets of leaves and dirt and detectives pulled out branches. They are methodically checking the area where a utility worker found the child's skull covered in duct tape and in a bag left near Suburban Drive. Investigators are trying to determine if the remains belong to Caylee Anthony.

How many murder victims killed by different people end up being dumped in the same exact spot? Sounds pretty unlikely to me. IF they believe her why are they not there telling HER and the world (I wouldn't give a rat's ass if our conversation was recorded or not) If they don't believe her why are they not there at least telling her they love her and want her to tell the truth!

Answer: well typically the parents are going to defend their daughter but some might say that the parents have not only defended their daughter but are very aggressive. and they think that they may have crossed the line and may have helped her to aid and abade.

could they have gone aggresively by removing items from there home that may have implicated at their daughter to prove her innocense?  and of course again there is nothing improper of them coming to her defense...because of the aggressive nature by going on every t.v. appearance they could... and accusing police that all evidence was not looked after..but if in fact   they may have crossed the line by handling evidence. throwing things away..that could have lead to criminal charges..and they could be charged if they find evidence of this.

Question: is the "body" being found that is pointing that it is lil caylee is that making a conviction more or less likely?
ANSWER: clearly its additional evidence. it makes charging her easier, the evidence looks like it will clearly the body will make it easier for the prosecution...will take it all the way to the conviction

The founder of a group organizing daily Central Florida searches for missing Caylee Anthony, Tim Miller, said he was furious with Cindy Anthony after what he said was a lack of cooperation."I'm pissed off," Equusearch's Miller said. "I feel as though we have been used in this and we are not getting any cooperation. We have done everything Cindy Anthony has asked us to do."

Search continues near Caylee Anthony's home

12:25 p.m. Brad Conway, an attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, just read a statement from his clients during a televised news conference.

The grandparents of missing Caylee Marie Anthony urged people to respect their privacy. The statement came just days after a child's body was discovered about a quarter mile from their home. It is believed to be Caylee but a positive identification has not been made.

"In the event this is not Caylee, we will immediately continue our search for our beloved grandaughter," George and Cindy Anthony said, according to the statement Conway read. "Please respect our privacy and understand that we will not be making any statement or appearances in the near future. We would ask you to continue your prayers for Caylee and all other missing children."

11:53 a.m. Orange County Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia is now at the site of the unidentified remains in east Orange County.

Garavaglia, a forensic pathologist, is the star of the Discovery Channel's show, Dr. G: Medical Examiner.

Search continues near the home of Caylee Marie Anthony
11:41 a.m. It could be days before Orange County crime scene technicians and FBI forensic investigators are done processing the scene where the remains of a small child were found last week.

A team from the medical examiner's office just arrived at the crime scene on Hopespring and Suburban drives. It's unknown why they returned or what their presence signifies.

Investigators are carefully combing through the area and have started removing sections of trees and undergrowth. An investigator can been seen crawling on her knees while examining the uprooted undergrowth that was placed on a white piece of fabric spread out on Suburban Drive.

"It's a lot of undergrowth, a lot of leaves," said sheriff's spokesman Deputy Carlos Padilla. "It's very tedious and very methodical."

About 10 investigators are working to examine the area where the body was found, Padilla said. It could take up to 14 days for a positive identification to be made.

The body was discovered on the morning of Dec. 11 in a heavily wooded area, about one-fourth of a mile from the home of missing Caylee Marie Anthony. The body remains in the possession of the Orange-Osceola County Medical Examiner, however, part of the remains were taken to an FBI lab this weekend by Orange County deputies, Padilla said.

California bounty hunter Leonard Padilla, who helped to free Caylee's mother Casey Anthony from jail earlier this summer, is milling around the area and talking to curious onlookers.

9:26 a.m. A source at the Orange County Sheriff's Office this morning confirmed that more bones where discovered over the weekend in the area where a child's skull and other remains were found near the home that missing toddler, Caylee Marie Anthony, shared with her mother and grandparents.

Detectives did not give details about the bones, but they are continuing to sift through dirt and leaves in the wooded area close to Hopespring and Suburban drives this morning. The missing girl's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, live less than a 1/4 mile from the site where the bones were found.

On Dec. 11, an Orange County water-meter reader found a skull and other remains in a black plastic bag -- marking the first major break in the case in months. Duct tape had been wrapped around the skull, investigators said.

The child's mother, Casey Anthony, is suspected of killing her daughter.

Lee Anthony, the brother of Casey Anthony, took down a memorial of pictures, stuffed animals and flowers on Saturday. He told onlookers to keep away from his parents' property and carried the memorial inside the home.

New York attorney Linda Kenney Baden, who is on Casey Anthony's defense team, said that lead attorney Jose Baez was told the measurements of the bones and the color of hair discovered match those of Caylee.

I am watching CNN Headline News.  They showed a coversation with KC and her parents.  She is fine until CA asks her to raise her eyes up so she can see her.  Then KC breaks into tears.  SO GUILTY!!  And what a liar KC is.  Holy Cow!  How can someone do that so easily and so quickly?

As I've said before, George knows and has known in his gut and heart all along ... Cindy, well I'm not sure about her. Either she is in deep denial, deep DENY-ALL, or she is showing us that mother and daughter are indeed just alike.

On LKL the day before remains found. After clips of sweet baby Caylee were shown, George looked like his heart had been ripped out. Cindy looked, well, like Cindy.

I don't have much time to keep up & on top of the conversations, but I read what I can when I can.
My theory about the whole thing goes back & forth between
1) a deliberate cold blooded, premeditated murder-made-to-look-like-a-kidnapping
2) a faked kidnapping gone wrong (Casey is clearly motivated by money)

The thought crossed my mind (when I was playing devil's advocate with myself) that Casey had been molested/abused and the abuser turned to Cayee, making Casey crack and kill Caylee to prevent her from being further harmed...but really, none of the stuff we've seen points to that so I've ditched that theory. I lean towards Casey faking a kidnapping to get $$ out of her parents, and screwing it up by accidentally killing Caylee. If ANYONE else was involved in Caylee's disappearance (a nanny for instance), Casey would've spilled her guts as soon as she was charged with 1st degree murder. I can't see Casey sacrificing herself for anyone, UNLESS she would be implicating herself in the process (ie, a faked kidnapping with accomplices).

Occam's Razor applies more often than not, though, so I tend to assume she killed her and attempted to make it look like a kidnapping.

Saturday, while wrapping presents for my grandchildren, Caylee kept racing through my mind and I was so very sad.  I kept thinking of that precious little girls body, lying all alone in those cold, dark woods.  She should be visiting Santa at the mall, telling him what she wants for Christmas.  She should be listening to stories about Baby Jesus, Rudolph, Frosty and Santa...all the things little ones love at this time of year!
She should be looking at presents under the lighted tree and wondering just what is in each package.  This is what children should be doing at this special time of year.  But, we can gather some assurance that although Caylee's little body may have been in those cold, dark woods, her little spirit will live forever and she will know no pain or suffering!

She was there to look at the new evidence...other than the bones recovered and shipped off thsi weekend

ITA GnM, but I think it is easier for George to accept reality.  Cindy just can't seem to make that leap yet.  I do feel compassion for their loss.  I think Cindy chooses to believe Casey even with all the damning evidence.  If she didn't believe her, all hope would be lost.  And I think she is now coming into a position where she doesn't have any other option but to face reality.  She (Cindy) may fade from the scene once the truth sets in.

Arrest the Anthony's - the whole bunch, I say!!!!

The other thing is -- IF there really was a big blowout June 15 and Cindy choked Casey, can you imagine how guilty she feels? "If I'd only handled it differently, then my Caylee would still be here." I also think Cindy brought up obtaining custody of Caylee and that set Casey off. "If I can't have her, no one will."

In Florida, someone that commits a crime cannot financially benefit from the crime...i.e books, movie deals, etc.  If GA, CA or LA were convicted of obstruction of justice, would that also apply to them?  For this reason, I so would like to see them charged and convicted. I just hate the thought that any income they derive from this tragedy might be used to help defend Casey.

A few thoughts have come to mind in reading all the latest events and comparing them to that which we already know. 

Given that Caylee was placed very close to the home has me thinking that Casey was sure that her story about the Nanny would be one that would pan out.  She 1 could have been hoping that nature would take its course and scatter the bones for her or 2 that she could of course blame the Kidnapping Nanny.

Looking back now, she started plotting this all early on.  I think she was plotting to frame her friend Amy.  She had told Amy she could live with her, move in with her as she was getting the home from Cindy.  Amy had a key..."Nanny has a key Mom".  I know this seems all farfetched, but in my mind I think she was planning and plotting several different types of scenarios in order to have one handy for when she needed her "kidnapper" to blame, or her "murderer" to blame.  It has all backfired on her as LE did not buy the BS from the get-go.  Sorry, but I honestly feel like Amy was going to be a fall guy for something.

Also, a last thought on the new bones found.  We have all thought that maybe Casey had birthed a son prior to Caylee.  Just thinking outloud here.  Also, I wonder if they are finding other remains, such as small animals.  I know that its been studied that children who grow up to be murderers have had a history of violence in killing, some times start with small animals and gradually progress.

I've been switching back and forth.  FOX definately reported on LOCAL news stating that there could be forthcoming charges of obstruction for grandparents.

I agree goodnmad.  I just keep getting the feeling that KC killed Caylee in ager.  Now with the duct tape evidence, I think she took her that night after the fight.  Caylee was upset and KC wanted her quiet.  She chloroformed her, as she had been doing, but a little rougher, and in anger.  Ten she wrapped the tape around her whole head (over her mouth and around her head), thinking she will totally quiet her for a while.  Not sure, IMO, if she wanted to kill her or just quiet her.  But she died.

It's just so sad.  I'm happy for Caylee that she is now in such a better place and never has to suffer again. 

I want to know what Casey was talking about when she picked up the phone (fidgeted with the volume) and said to Cindy...."I haven't said anything....No worries"  or something to that fact.    ::MonkeyShocked::

Additional items recovered at crime scene

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Monday morning, Orange County Sheriff’s spokesperson Carlos Padilla confirmed that additional items were recovered at the crime site where the remains of a child were found on Thursday.

He would not say whether those items were additional bones or clothing, noting that the sheriff’s office wanted to keep the integrity of the case at hand.

At least five FBI agents and a slew of investigators from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office continue to comb through a heavily wooded area less than one mile away from the home of missing toddler, Caylee Anthony. The Sheriff’s Office says they will expand the area as much as necessary and have removed several bushes and trees from the site.

There is still no confirmation on whether the bones found in the plastic bag are those of Caylee’s. Padilla said the FBI and the Sheriff’s Office are attempting to expedite those results as quickly as possible. They confirmed that the medical examiner’s office has stayed in close touch with the FBI lab in Virginia, but would not elaborate on what other items other than the remains are being examined.

Holy crap guys. What else could they take? I say they just take George, Cindy and Lee and lock them in the evidence room.
 

Another thing that I think is odd, is that there is no close extended family from either side.  They seem to have lived their lives very isolated.  Just points to so many skeletons.

Makes you wonder if in her anger of being choked by CA, she didn't then turn around and choke Caylee. It just seems most likely Caylee was killed in the house, and possibly even that night. Than the fact that she waited 31 days-lots of time for thinking up stories to tell. I  go back and forth on whether or not I think G&C were involved. I want to believe no, they are just in total denial because they can't bear to even think Caylee was harmed. But when I think of all the things they've said and done in the past six months, it leaves wondering. Are they involved after the fact, or were they there when it happened?? I just don't know, but I imagine we will be finding out alot of info over the coming days and weeks. It just bothers me to know they will all lie and deny, and blame everyone else: Zanny, KC friends, LP, TM, LE & even the FBI.

So...did she just have the chloroform sitting around, waiting for a time to use it or what? Maybe she thought she would have a hard time hurting Caylee and felt if she sedated her prior to hurting her, it would spare Caylee the pain???  Just rambling on here....

Also on Monday, Tim Miller, the leader of Texas Equusearch, spoke with FOX 35's Mike Dunston about the case. Tim Miller says he is angry with Casey Anthony. "When  we walked into the Anthony's house the first time, Casey could have taken me for a two minute walk and it would have been over," he said.

He said investigators at the crime site got emotional after the find. "We hugged and wiped tears out of our eyes and said 'My God, it's finally over, it's finally over."

I don't understand the Anthony's.  Hello, your grand daughter went missing, and you have all the evidence in the world saying your daughter did it.  But let's say ok... the nanny took the baby.  And then you see pictures of KC out partying and living it up?  OMG>>> give me a break.  No matter how is shakes out your daughter is a POS. I have no idea what Fox was reporting, but it has now crossed my mind that perhaps they have discovered Casey's very own graveyard, not just Caylee's remains.

They'd need a reason to search Lee's house.  Search warrants are usually very specific, this is probably why they didn't remove stuff the last time they searched the A's.  LE cannot get a search warrant for a fishing expedition.

I'm sure covering for KC and making excuses for her behavior is nothing new to the Anthonys. All this just makes one wonder just what they have been covering for her???

*IF* Casey did not kill her, she was directly responsible for handing her over to whomever did. ie, faked kidnapping. There's a 30 day holding pattern - she "agreed" to a small sum of money, maybe $50k or something she figured her parents could come up with without having to alert authorities. The "kidnappers" get Caylee, decide no, we want $250k. Casey knows her parents can't come up with that money, and will alert LE, so Casey's at a stand still. She goes on with her life playing a power struggle - figuring eventually they'll cave and give Caylee back...but they don't. Casey can't go to LE because she's directly responsible for the whole plan.

But again, none of that far-fetched situation accounts for the car/cadaver dogs. So who knows?

The only thing I got out of the FoxNews on cable is the discussion had 3 people and one being a defense attorney. The only thing he mentioned is he thinks she had an accomplice and there is not the "why" factor of her premiditating. The anchor straightened him out on that as did the other 2 guests. Also one of them said that maybe the bones are mixed up some with animal bones. Alos if some of the human bones were knawed on by animals it might make it harder but not impossible to tel the difference between knawing and if it was an injury..blunt trauma or something like that. The defense guy was weird like most of them and talking about maybe the body was chopped up in pieces. He was a creep.

Tim has worked very closely with LE and it was already stated he was allowed to view the crime scene and body.

3bsmom...this is also my theory.  I think she did what she had done many times before (coughJorancough) and this time it ended badly.  This weekend I was also thinking maybe she did go back to the house on the 16th after everyone left and Caylee started acting up wanting Cindy and not Casey and Casey pushed her or maybe she just fell and hit her head on something...corner molding maybe or even the tub and she panicked and went into cover up mode right then and there.  I also think that Caylee is wrapped in some sort of bedding that Casey tried to replace from JCP before Cindy noticed.  All JMO of course.

IF that were true -- since they found the body -- Casey would be screaming to holy heaven that she was kidnapped and start coughing up the details. There would be NO reason to keep up the charade.

Hello Monkeys!  I'm gonna try to do a "hudsunn" post so bare with me.  I hope I can put my thoughts as eloquently as she does but those are some big shoes to fill!  Also, mods--i think this has relevance but if you don't see it, please feel free to remove.  In case any of you are still concerned that Caylee will not get justice:

Since the beginning this case has drawn me in as another "local" case here in my neck of the woods did in July 2007.  That case was of Jessie Marie Davis a young single mother of a 2yr old and 8 1/2 months pregnant who went missing and the person who took her left her 2 year old at the home alone for over 24 hours.  Speculation immediately went to the "father" (I use that term loosely) a police officer.  To make a long story short, he made a deal and turned in where he dumped the body in order to get the death penalty taken off the table.  They called him out by using cell phone pings from the time of disappearance.  By the time this happened she & her unborn baby had been lying in a secluded area for over a month exposed in the July/August heat.  Cause of death was unable to be determined.  The "father" took the stand in his own defense claiming that it was an accident.  The jury didn't buy it and convicted on two counts and received LWOP.  I believe that the gross neglect for his other child, by leaving him home alone attributed to the sentence.  Just as which I believe Casey's behavior in the 31 days after Caylee went missing will have the jurors see the light.

Also, there was an accomplice.  A "friend" helped dispose of the body.  She made a deal for her testimony (which was very, very week IMO) and is just now being released from prison.

I just thought I'd share and maybe some of you who are afraid that justice will not be served will change your mind.  I do believe some sort of justice will be served just maybe not the needle some are hoping for...

There are some older homes that due, and they are an option for newer homes as well.  We opt'ed not to have one in our home due to the space it took up, and the fact that we really have no use for one.  Here is is almost Christmas, and our coldest day was 61 degrees.  Today a nice sunny 74.

He may have hoped for that, but IIRC, DP was never taken off the table.  He was lucky the jury felt it was probably accidental, and then covered up after the fact. He very well could have gotten death.

IMO any money earned from this case should go right back to OCSD, FDLE, FBI and Texas Equisearch.  Why should the Anthonys benefit any rewards from this tragedy?  I can't even imagine how much money has already been spent in this investigation and we are still very far away from trial. Then, there's all of the resources that TIm Miller put forth in the search. And...when KC gets life in prison, it will cost taxpayers millions of dollars to keep her jailed for the rest of her life. So...who should get any royalties from this case????

I see what you're saying, but she would be better to implicate herself in being involved with her "disappearance", but not actually being the killer. Even if it was her idea. I would think she'd fess up to who they are so LE could find and arrest them for the murder. And, if that is true, then they knew damned well what happened to Caylee from Day # 1. Well, I've only been here a little over 5 years now, but I watched Bobby Cutts give his testimony, and his statement before sentencing. Although I think what he did was horrific.. and leaving his little boy like that all alone  ::MonkeyNoNo:: ... I do think that there was doubt that he did this to her intentionally. His testimony seemed genuine, for the most part.  I think life in prison was probably the better sentence anyway.  He has to live with what he did for the rest of his days... which should be many.

Every other house here has a fireplace, especially north central, in Orlando.. in the winter it gets into the 30's and 40's there

If there's going to be a new search warrant issued, and IF the house was bugged before and then Casey's attorneys de-bugged it when they went through the house this weekend...then I hope that LE plants bugs again!

One thing that is haunting me....it's obvious that Casey just drove down the street and around the corner and dumped Caylee's body as quickly as possible.  That stretch of mowed grass looks to be about 15 feet from the street and the LE covered stand (blue) is just beyond the grassline...I'd say about 20 feet all together.  Casey probably stood in the grass and tossed the bag.  COLD!!! So cold that it's hard to wrap one's mind around it!!

I'm behind in reading - so forgive me is someone has already said this.

When I think of C&G being arrested, I wonder if they will take a plea and turn on KC and finally tell the truth about what happened to Caylee.    Anyone think this?

You know, it is really funny how they tried to convince everyone that George saw Caylee and KC on the 16th.  And that there was NO fight on the 15th.   Makes you wonder just how much they knew (and if they were involved more than we realize).

LP just gets under my skin from time to time and for some reason the thought of him "milling" around irked me.  JMHO.  I guess I am just trying to understand why he still feels the need to be in the picture, that's all.  Again, JMHO.   Not trying to bash LP or anything like that, so please no nanners thrown at me... thanks.

Do any of you think that Cindy or George (or Lee) helped her hide the body.. maybe they didn't even tell her where they were hiding it, so she could honestly say she didn't know where it was?  Lee would have known better (I'm assuming) about this childhood hangout.  (and it's near a school, so Caylee would always have kids around).  Lee wouldn't want to take a poly, because he'd be sure to fail it if they asked "do you know the whereabouts of your niece"?

Perhaps this was their burial ground for family pets, too? And so they decided to bury Caylee here like they would a cat or dog?  I dunno..

Or -  GOD FORBID -   If KC is pregnant again, it should all go to a trust fund for the child she is carrying so that the father (or father's family) can raise the child!!!!

Yes they went in with cameras taking pictures even of the front door entry. The woman was pointing the camera down when she flashed it. This was on the video of them entering I think on CNN when I watched it. Maybe Fox. I am so confused!!! It was reported the people outside (reporters) saw flashes going off inside the house in the bedrooms and other areas including the backyard.

I don't think there was anything that JB could have taken that was not already looked at or pictures taken of.
If he removed some things it was probably for show so it would look like LE & FBI missed something significant.

I wish Casey would just save time and tell all and it would actually go along with evidence. I know..that would be about eh time it snows in Miami.

Can you imagine how it must feel to know that you have a child or sibling that is capable of murder?  I do believe that KC was also planning to eliminate her parents from the picture, because of the story about her getting their house.  I do believe that GA has been kept in the dark about a lot of things his daughter has done. However, I feel sure that CA and LA are well aware of just what KC is capable of.  If there are accomplices in this case, I pray that LE will find the truth about them and also bring them to justice.

After watching him take that memorial down it wouldn't suprise me!!

Lovinlife, you did a good job with that post.  I remember the Jesse Davis case.  I also agree that justice will be served in this case.  Oh, the defense and the Anthonys and some crime pundits are going to spew and sputter and spin, but no jury is going to understand for one moment why Casey did not report her missing child, why she partied and shopped instead of searching for her child, why her friends noticed no changes in her demeanor, why she abandoned a car that smelled like death, why she lied constantly, etc.

Circumstantial evidence and suspicious behavior can be just as strong and compelling as any other evidence at a trial.  I think Casey will go to jail for the rest of her life for this terrible crime.
