we drove down to az.... through cali.... through oregon... and through seattle..
over snaqualmie... through spokane... and i never was WARM ONE DAY out of TWELVE DAYS on the road.. *L*

home now... but its knee deep in snow.. with more on the way! keep your rain over in seattle! it turns to snow when it reaches ME! :)

I can't see any reason to return because everytime my daughter or son mentions "come for a visit, well-they literally do". how long has your son & girlfriend lived in aintree? (if you don't mind me asking) hubby has been here since '91. we are soon to be moving to hernando. (my hometown) all of hubby's family is here but you know we haven't had a clubhouse since the fire dec 17 '06, so it's been frustrating. we didn't use the clubhouse but their is (was actually)alot of stuff going on since it's takin' so long to get it rebuilt. i saw just today they are breaking ground on the new clubhouse. FINALLY. can i ask you what kind of work do you do? not specifically, just in general. hubby is in family business so that is how we know most people. (he knows alot more than me)

My son is 8!!!!! But, his girlfriend from Bailey Station Elementary lives there, we moved right after the Memphis Massacre and the last big snow, he stayed overnight with his Aintree friends-it was the first overnight he ever had. I know alot of people moving to Hernando or Olive Branch just to get the h@ll out of Shelby County. I'm in fixed income capital markets, .....MK.

the grasshopper. it's great, good food, friendly people, & close enough to go have a drink. i cannot believe i met another monkey from here! (g-town, c-ville) bowla pasta is good too, also royal panda. it's usually chalputapec for me & the girls.

I really think 2009 will be a great year for my whole family, wishing you the same!!!!!

It's a small world! The kids love Royal Panda C-13, and I have ordered sooooo many times from Bolla Pasta and used to work with Frank Grisanti when he was a broker before he went into the family business. My daughter has been back twice and the first place she goes is Chapultepec ::MonkeyTongue:: What type business is your huuby in??

wasn't the memphis massacre horrible. i thought it was the brother when they said he was out on parole & had threatened his brother with a knife or gun over a leather jacket. my husband is not real sure about hernando, cause he's lived in germantown since he was 12, but i think he will like it. this area will go downhill, if it wasn't for the 24 hr security guards, i would have already been gone. you know outback closed, on the border, i am not sure what else. you know there was a fire in c-ville the other nite & a 51 year lady died. the police said arson, but they think it was personal.

moving & storage. the good thing is at least i don't have to pack up all this stuff. we have already had the fragile stuff packed & some of the furniture moved but we still have a ton more. i had to go to the dr. today for what he thinks is a pinched nerve & is referring me to a neurologist, but it is killing me cause i want to supervise the packing but at least i don't have to do it myself.

It was horrific, and to think that no one bothered to even call the police??? I didn't know all the news yours telling me, weird-I'll have to catch up as my parent still live in the area......curious about the fire. I've heard that things are geting bad fast, it's so refreshing to be here, I have yet to even taken the keys out of the car and nobody even locks their doors here. Oh, I forgot my daughter rode 3 times a week at Aintree and we where in Aintree when the clubhouse burned.

um, let me guess, louis taught her. my niece used to take from louise, but this summer i waited to late so she takes lessons at magnolia manor from louis' best friend ms. jane!!!! i will be making the trip from hdo to germantown for her lessons. my sister works so i am in charge of getting her to horseback lessons. did you know that you used to be able to ride all the horses thru the trails in aintree. people got tired of the poop.

his name as a BABY pup was LEO (i am a leo)... but my darlin honeymoon changed it when we got him to THOR..
THOR fits him... he is 6 lbs of VICIOUS..
okay... not to HIM, but to ME..
i left for alaska when he was a little one... and when i returned my husband was letting him sleep with him... NOW he is HIS dog.. and the little twit doesnt LIKE when i try to go to bed... he goes PSYCHO on me when i head to bed at nite..

I am a grad of Purdue. Grew up in Indianapolis. Met husband (now ex) there. While he finished his grad work I taught at Clarks Hill (2nd grade) and Elston (3rd grade) Lived at an apt. that i think is still there. 2 story colonial at the corner of Harrison and umm senior moment here.. It's just south of the Union. Think it was State street. Found a lost dog at Christmas eve where Sears used to be near the bridge and the Wabash...was walking home to Wis. I love WLA. Had "honeymoon" in Lafayette 46 years right this moment. I miss the people in Indiana alot. My cousin wants me to come back and live there... would have to have a basement, indoor lap pool and hydroponics. Was there in 2002 tornado. Did volunteer work with the Salvation Army as a volunteer from the local CA American Legion Auxiliary.

Found out the Salvation Army has for decades or more than a hundred years???? been very active in anti-humane trafficking. Can't find a Kettle anywhere around here. Will have to use the online donation site.

Guess I am on a roll here tonight. I just went back to the Donna Jou thread under Missing Persons. Great Monkeys are asking where we can put pressure to get some answers. We need a Monkey Family effort, so all the new Monkeys please visit there, please we need your help. You would be interested in this site, I believe.

It has many twists... like with Mrs. Red, Klaas, Tim Miller, Gloria Alred, Dr. Phil, Malibu, police following up and not, pictures of places where one very T-d off Monkey would hide a body in LA et al, Satan, Sinjin, a band, guns, a boat, motorcycle, lying, a body or something wrapped up supposedly posted by the "suspect", tool boxes, someone bidding up to $800 for the contents of his storage unit, mysterious cell and text messages, Monkeys at rallys and more.

If you go over there, please read from page one.. it's only about 23 pages. Even Kermit is there... ie: it ever gets "dull" here in the Caylee Thread! or you need a break.

.. let her take her own child away for mysterious overnights
.. paid for everything and never held the mother accountable
.. allowed their child to lie, lie, lie, lie and lie some more
.. have big issues of their own with gambling, lying, violence, secrets
.. covered up the secret of "who the father is"
.. waited for a month to pass without seeing their grandchild
.. never knew or saw the supposed "nanny"
.. didn't call police when they smelled that abandoned car
.. then reported thefts of $$ and a car before mentioning a missing child
.. lied to investigators who were trying to find their granddaughter
.. arrogantly called the public names and lied to the media
.. blatantly tampered with witnesses
.. also tampered with evidence, even giving LE the wrong brush
.. got in confrontations with protesters, but not their murdering daughter
.. continued to defend their daughter by pretending the baby wasn't dead
.. allowed their murdered grandchild to rot out in the elements for six months while claiming that her killer is "Mother of the Year"

IMO, these are NOT grandparents who should be asking for immunity!!

Instead of immunity, they need... humility.  Honesty.  Respect for Caylee.
They need to get busy and respectfully bury their poor grandchild and change their tune immediately; start coughing up nothing but the truth, in honor of Caylee.

No immunity, no publicity, no book or movie deals, no more Larry King Live, no more limo rides, no more secrets. 
Just the truth.

(Yeah, I know.  But I can dream, can't I? -- and sorry for the rant.)

Last Night in all the excitement..someone posted that there were 300min of new video released, I can't find it anywhere...has any one seen it yet ? I think it was during the Not Nancy Grace show

Conway said that while he doesn’t believe the Anthony’s have ever said anything that makes him think they will need protection he’s confident that an immunity deal is needed and will happen.

Also according to Conway, he believes the defense may finish with the toddlers remains by the end of the week. Then he said the family can focus on laying the little girl to rest.

Once the burial is over, Conway believes investigators wil question the Anthony’s again.

It has been reported that Caylee's (not the toddler's, not the little girl's, but Caylee's) remains are at the funeral home.  I don't think a funeral home would allow examination of the bones.  They're not equipped for this are they?  What about respect for the other deceased at the funeral home, all those people coming and going to look at Caylee's remains?  Nope, I don't think the defense is examining anything.  Why this smokescreen?

Morning monkeys!

Hubby stayed up playing on the computer most of the night..  fell asleep for a couple of hours, and when he came up to get coffee and a shower, his left ear was covered in black stuff.  OMG it was the best laugh I've had this year!  ::MonkeyHaHa:: ::MonkeyHaHa::

(He has no idea what his head was laying on apparently...  but it was funny as heck!!)

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Bounty hunter Leonard Padilla who first bailed Casey Anthony out of jail said he believes someone in the Anthony camp knew where Caylee's remains were before the meter reader found them.

Padilla says a private investigator named Dominic Casey who worked with the Anthony family was aware as early as mid-November that the remains were in a wooded area near Suburban Drive.

I'll listen to more this morning. I found it interesting the stuff they cut out in the beginning. Why did they cut it out and release to public and now re-release it again in "full" version? The two private eyes working with the Anthony's are giving two different stories. 

One claims he did not know her remains were here, the other says they both knew.

Padilla said that private investigator, Jim Hoover, who works with the Anthony's said he was told in November, by the Anthony's private eye, Dominic Casey, that this is where Caylee's body is hidden.

Mr. Casey said he didn't find anything in November, so he withheld the information from the Anthony's.

William Sheaffer, WFTV Legal Analyst:  Anything private eye did on his own, for anyone else, in fact is not is not covered by the work product privilege.

Listen to the last 911 tape from the house, the one where Cindy tells about the smell in the car, and she becomes hysterical.  She then is asked to get Casey on the phone, and then listen to Cindyin the background.  Unfortunately, when these tapes were transcribed, the transcriptionist did not transcribe that part, but you can hear it.

Not so bizarre. This is why sexy LP said they had a closed team, they didn't let this joker in because they knew he was an amateur. These hotshots think they know the law and they are actually inexperienced and mess up.

It will come down to these clowns ratting each other out like the OJ personal belongings hotel issue. And behind it will be the Ants, like Casey who repeated on NG last night that LE isn't investigating this the way she wanted them to. She said that the detectives weren't cooperating with her and doing what she asked. When people like Casey don't know how LE works from watching CSI they think they can order LE around like a waiter. Doesn't work that way.

This link takes you to the listing, its the second 911 call -- the remark is made just after Cindy tells george that "zanny" took Caylee, then she says that she called them 2 hours ago, and she wishes that they would get there because she was going to beat the $hit out of Casey!  Listen to it, you can hear it.  I transcribe police interviews all the time and my earphones filter out noise, and I can hear it.  I can hear it without the earphones. 

why yes, anothermonkey I can tell you the ribs will cook slow over the open fire, made of seasoned oak. ( that I chopped and split)..maybe some veggies added there as well, I like to cook the whole meal without any electric help as often as I can...

Good morning, all!  I hope everyone's day is getting off to a good start.  Mine is, especially after hearing that Cindy supposedly threatened to beat the shit out of Casey.  If only it had done any good.

As much as I wish nothing had ever happened to Caylee, I can't imagine how much she would have suffered for the next 15-16 years of her life.  I think that even if physical abuse had not been an issue prior to her murder, the mental abuse alone would have been enough to make her life a living hell. She is in a much safer place now and feels no more pain.

Maybe if she would have, this could have ended much sooner. But instead it became a three ring circus, and total disrespect to Caylee.

Thanks.  That may explain Cindy's long explanation about figures of speech to the FBI agent.  She goes on and on about how shaking the sh*t out of someone is just a figure of speech.

No that makes sense Newfie. Someone else posted what I was thinking earlier. It looks like an eviction to me. I see it in rent houses here all the time. The tenants throw their junk/trash willy nilly in the yard for the scavengers and leave the rest for the landlord to clean up. Its kind of like the tenant is having the final word "you put me on the street, now look what you have to clean up" because they know they won't get their deposit back anyways. Make sense?

If Casey stayed at a hotel that night she could have had Caylee out of the car and alone. How does this fit the timeline?
Fight on 15th, she leaves. On the phone with Tony who doesn't want the kid to stay at his place leaving Casey homeless unless she disposes of the child. Caylee is probably fussy. Could Casey have put the lifeless body in the first plastic bag in the motel and into the trunk like she was loading luggage? Then she goes about adding bags of groceries and other things to the trunk to conceal? Stays with Tony without Casey on the 16th?

Exactly, I don't see Lee being an upstanding tenant. My apartment is trashed right now, I would die for my complex manager to walk in. I blame it all on Casey, George, Cindy and Lee! I would never blame it on the fact that I would rather be with monkeys than vacuum.  ::MonkeyTongue::

That sounds quite possible. I thought HPD & OCD, coupled with a history of abuse and a family structure that makes lying the normal, polite thing to do--almost the default option, because of the things going on in the family that have to be hidden.

I don't think Cindy helped kill Caylee, but I do think she's an accessory after the fact, because on a certain level she knew the truth and simply refused to consider it possible. But it seems she was already in that habit, long before Caylee was ever born. Probably before Lee or Casey were born. JMO.

Seriously, though, Casey did not kill her child for genetic reasons, and Lee is very unlikely to have the same reaction to his child as Casey had to hers. I'd worry about Lee based on the general family profile and that whole possibility of incest issue--I'd want to be sure he didn't do that, before entrusting him with a baby.

ITA. It's awful how hard-hearted people on average have gotten. The same thing has happened to me. Now, in NY or Chicago, they generally assume that if you fall down and call for help, or have a heart attack or a stroke or get sick, anything at all, that you are just faking it, setting them up so you can rob them, so they will walk away very fast and try not to make eye contact. But where I live, it's just not that common for someone to do that--it's not that crowded, etc...and I bet where you live it's that way, too. I think TV has a little to do with it.

Oh good one. Didn't even think about that. And Caylee would have had rigor and not fit into a suitcase.

Thank you so much all for making SM the fantastic community that it is. Scared Monkeys has the uniqueness of combining a front page blog and forum. Believe it or not, SM was one of the first on the internet to ever do it. I guess imitation is the best form of flattery.

What it has done is provide a strong community of facts, people, opinions and sleuthing that is read by so many (5M visitors and 12M + page views). However, there is another element that makes it much more different & special.  It was never more evident of just how special and different SM is as when one of our own, Peaches, passed away. We are about discussing cases, trying to get justice, helping with search in whatever capacity ... however SM is most about being human and doing the right things that show the character of the site and all its members and readers.

Thank you to the mods for all the great work in 2008 and a pre-thanks for 2009. Special thanks to Klaas as well.

May 2009 be filled with the answers and justice that we all look for in so many cases. May the victims of crimes finally get justice. Hopefully we will not find ourselves discussing so many crime and missing persons cases, however, sadly that is usually never the case.

It is awful. The hospital where my office is (I'm not a hospital employee thank God) if a person falls down, has a heart attack or what have you in the parking lot. They call an ambulance to take you to the ER.

you are so right boo,,,,Empathy seems to have gotten lost ,,,like many of you know already, my partners mother, Judith Osteen, was kidnapped from her home, dec 16, 2007, and not one local person walked a step to search for her besides us.. I have yet come to terms as how to compute that happening....Judith is still missing.

It seems to me, there is such a separation of tribes,  be it religion,   or demographic location, be it greed or gluttony, be it family heritage, or wealth or lack there of, this world is in need of a reality check.

Our responsibilities are to each other as a whole, and to the earth we live upon.
Our value system needs a rethink.  These  pricey lawyers who come out of the wood work, to preclude all the lies of their clients, do not help our justice system.

WE have weed lawyers who now want immunity to those who would take a water bowl from a dog in the heat of  a Florida summer.  Snatch away with angered intent, lovingly placed flowers for a deceased child, a relative, and disregard the feelings of those who only wanted to show love.

Most of all, we have unguided young mothers, who hate for the wrong reasons, as hate is what they have been taught by their elders. Only a hateful person could lie to themselves, after smelling what they knew all along, was the smell of their own granddaughters decomposed remains.

He's 25. I think it's pretty standard and normal for parents to ignore the financial needs of their children over twenty, UNLESS there is a grandchild involved.  They don't seem to care half as much about him as they do Casey.

Maybe that's why I relate to Lee--I had the same kind of deal. Since I was an A student they figured I'd land on my feet. (In fact I did not--I ended up homeless twice.) They devoted themselves to the drug addict in the family, which is pretty standard.

Remember the meterreader said there was a tree and a whiteboard hanging on it (pointing to the burial area). Looks like that white board is in Lee's trash now with some kid scribbling on it. Maybe he said white bag... coulda sworn it sounded like a poster and not a white trash bag.  ::MonkeyConfused::

I'm not sure Casey would premeditate the disposal that carefully. She would premeditate the murder but I think the disposal is where she screwed up. Luggage would have been impulse reaction, maybe. Unless she put everything that belonged to Caylee in the luggage and disposed of it elsewhere... which might explain the area around the airport. (Casey mentality)
Maybe LP was in the Econ looking for the luggage and it's contents without thinking Caseybrain. Luggage=airport with all it's luggage friends.

I'm ok now with gory now that the child has been found. Caylee is in heaven and ok, her mothers actions are the gory part.

The only reason I don't think Lee was evicted, is because he had the carpet cleaned, the man who cleaned the carpet, said it didn't look like the carpet was dirty, I don't know if this is true, about the carpet cleaner man, but that is what is being said on another forum. There may be more than one reason for Lee to move out of that house, and also I dont think Casey killed caylee because of who her father was, it was for her own selfish reasons and Im sure if Cindy and George would ever be truthful they would divulge what Casey told them before any of this ever happened....She prolly did say ( Ill kill Caylee befor Ill let you people have her) and this was after Im sure the Anthony's threatened to take her to court for custody!    These people were  crazy before all this happened and they are even crazier now!

Went out last night for short time. The place was so dead and the band so bad that my husband was even bored. I kept telling myself it is not that you are getting older but quite yawning....not polite to band. Anyway....starting thinking about this case. Can't get away from it.

I was thinking now that the PI's have thrown in another turn if maybe if that is authentized (date, location) if that will defense try to discredit anything found at location if someone had been in there such as PI's, etc.

My thought is really that it proves JB, A's knew where she was and they were sent in there. All the people involved knew they were keeping up the nanny story to blame her and they knew the longer that body was in the elements it would be more likely they would be scattered and cause of death would be a problem.

I think they are all scums if they knew this stuff, led on with false statements, solicited funds for a pretense of a live child missing, etc but most of all leaving that babies remains out there to save the one who took her life. Well they might have done it too well because now if it was an accident(doubt) there is no turning back and it can't be proven. I think Dr Perper said it all on NG th other night..that child was alive when the tape was placed on her.

Probably the carpets were cleaned just in case LE decides to get a search warrant on this house now that Lee is out. I still think eviction, maybe not. But that's what that picture looks like. How did Zoe bring in the New Year last night?

Well if you stop and think about it. Caylee was the only hold on Cindy that Casey had. The money, the home , the rules everything came from Cindy, She had been told by Cindy many times just what a deadbeat she was and how crazy she was but Casey being Caylees Mother was the only thing she had on her side and the only weapon she had against Cindy, so in her sick mind she knew that this fact was the ace in the hole and the only way to pay Cindy back........and she did in the worst way possible!

The article contents below will scandalize many….but asking for immunity - even by the innocent - is routine.  The grandparents’ lawyer would be committing legal malpractice if he did not ask that his clients get immunity.  This does NOT mean the grandparents have done anything wrong at all — but a lawyer asks for immunity out of an abundance of caution.  Sometimes you run into the situation where a law enforcement officer thinks he was lied to when the law enforcement officer’s memory is simply faulty or he got it wrong what was said to him…and you all know how easy it is to get an indictment! I don’t know if the grandparents have committed any crime — I will give them the presumption of innocence — and I do know that it is routine for a lawyer to do all that he can to protect a client. Of course if they have committed a crime, you can see why they would want immunity….but the bottom line is this: just because you ask for immunity does not mean you did something wrong.

You could be right, you would also think LE should have searched his house and yard early on. She was snoring, which I'm thankful for, because people were popping those poppers, and she is terrified of loud noises, we think she had been shot at, she was abused when we got her from the shelter.

Yes, what I am curious about is how much abuse, if any went on in that house, I'm sure Baez will use this for Casey's defense, I see no other choice, but go with abuse, or some mental issues.

LE couldn't search without a warrant and they would have to show a judge probable cause. Now that he possibly could be arrested, LE could get a warrant to search. At least I think that is how it works. LE has to show a valid reason to a judge to get the warrant. I think he knows he is going down and wants the carpets cleaned for a reason. I don't see Lee being the type of person to clean carpets for the new tenants. He is hiding something. Sorry about Zoe and loud noises. Joe is afraid of them too. Guns were being shot off here last night so he got a dose of benadryl before midnight.

Cindy certainly seems to have a list personality disorders tucked up under her belt.  And yes, many of the behaviors do get passed on to future generations, in one form or another.  Casey seems to be a mini Cindy, only far worse. 

Interesting to me is observing how these things happen in the different generations.  And while none of it excuses Casey for what she most likely has done to Caylee, it does help to explain how things ended up so very badly in that family, with Caylee taking the brunt of it all. 

What I'd like to know is how Cindy got the way she is!  We haven't heard much about her parents, their behaviors and relationship.  Oddly enough, of the three women (mother, grandmother, g.grandmother) Cindy's mother (from what little we do know) seems to be the most emotionally healthy.  Yet it's true that first impressions can be deceiving.  It very likely could be that Cindy may be a mini Shirley. 

Would love for Rick to share more about the family and its inner-workings.  Only to help in understanding Cindy, which in turn, helps in understanding Casey.  If anything, am betting the defense will go for the emotionally-abused angle, PTSD, NPD and whatever other initials that Casey most likely has.

Hi Wyks, thanks for posting that. I think out of all of them Mrs Plesea is the most sane one. She genuinely seems to care about Cindy, Caylee, and Rick, but I think she could not give a rat's behind about Casey. Maybe that is because of what Casey did to her and her husband, or it could be a lifelong thing. Some grandparents love one grandchild, but despise the other from day one.

It just seems to me that if they were going to all the trouble of releasing tapes and videos, they would not be edited first.  What's the sense in releasing them if they take out all the details that matter?  If something had been on those they needed for the trial, then why not just say that, or say nothing, but hold it back.  Releasing stuff after it's been edited is, IMO, very misleading, giving a skewed version to the public.  I'm talking details, not private info etc, which ought to edited, yes.  Releasing only the bare essentials, doesn't it just defeat the whole purpose of the sunshine laws in that state?   Or do I have the wrong idea about what those laws mean?  Don't they know that we monkeys are a very curious lot?  pffffffft   ::MonkeyWink::

What a fantastic post, Mioyshi.  I'm giving it a standing ovation.  We were just discussing this very thing the other day at work - how it is so sad that we've become a "me me me" society instead of a "WE" society.  We are so quick to let our differences separate us to the point that we can become enemies, yet if we'd stop and look at our similarities, they far outweigh them.  We are human and we all have the same basic needs.

If people would stop automatically asking, "what's in it for me", the world would be a much different place.  I hope and pray that people will soon begin to realize this, because the only way to change it is to start with ourselves and lead by example.   Not a bad idea for a New Year's resolution, is it??      ::MonkeyDance::

I've also been so annoyed at the people who want to jump in every now and then and they don't even seem to have a grip on any of what has gone on.   I think I'd keep my mouth shut until I did have all of the known facts before I'd take the risk of making it look like I was defending people whose actions have been deplorable at best.

I'm lagging behind, but Wyks, I appreciated your post on Cindy's family dynamics.  I too have wondered about this for some time but didn't want to bring up negative info on her uninvolved family members.  You handled this well!

I do think we're products of our environments to a certain extent, but I know wonderful people with horrible upbringings.  I also know people with great, healthy childhoods who didn't turn out so great.  It's just hard to say.

Oh, I agree, I don't trust him, it just seemed weird, he examines the car, and next day there is a video being done close to Caylee's remains. I've been thinking, could the meter man have overheard something at the Anthony's house and that is why he stumbled upon Caylee's remains when he did? ::MonkeyEek::

Something had sent him to the area in August.

I read on WS that he had the carpets steam-cleaned, and the carpet cleaner thought it looked like it had already been cleaned. I doubt that he would hire someone to steam clean carpets if he was evicted. If it was a rental house, he would have to clean everything in order to get a deposit back.
This picture just looks like ordinary trash to me. Nothing unusual about it. I've moved about a hundred times in my life, and we always have loads of trash to throw away and then I go back and clean everthing.

Yes, considering the date, am thinking that Nejame got the heck out of dodge, so to speak.  In light of what we now know, in one sense, that was him making a very good move.  In another sense tho, if he really was as ethical as he appears to be by removing himself from the fray, seems that he *coulda shoulda* gone the whole route and reported to LE what was going on.  On the other hand, maybe he did and we just aren't aware of that yet.   ::MonkeyConfused::

Morning Boo!  You were cracking me up last night!   ::MonkeyHaHa::  My doxie has a talking ball, the 'babble ball'.  It talks even when not in motion, with no one near it!  We'll be having a quiet moment and all of a sudden, from out of nowhere, we hear a voice saying, "La la la la la".. "Don't do that, puppy!"   ::MonkeyHaHa::

It makes me sick that the A's would even *think* of asking for immunity after all this mess.   ::MonkeyEek::  I will be sicker yet if they actually get immunity!    ::MonkeyShocked::  And all I can think of is... immunity in exchange for what?  What is so awful that they know (or have done) that would necessitate immunity?  And if there is something so awful, then IMO, they need to go down for it and face the charges, right along with Casey.  Who do these people think they are anyway?  The nerve they have!!!
