Hey Wyks,  Sorry to hear about your son.  I understand what you mean by respite.  My son just got out of the hospital a week ago, but he was there for 8 day and got great help.  We are now trying to get him in a group home.  Good luck, and your son and all mental health patients ae always in my prayers.

The account Lee was talking about is an account that you set up with a credit card for calls from the Jail.  they will not just let you call collect anymore.  You have to set up this account and prepay so much for calls and then she can call him on that number.   IT is also used for those people that only have cells cause you cannot call collect to a cell phone. 

BTW  HOw I know this is Step Son landed himself in Jail for 15 days for not paying 12,000.00 worth of traffic fines.  We let his little butt set there as long as they possibly would let us, lol.  It is not the first time it has happened. ::MonkeyConfused:: ::MonkeyConfused::

They offer all of these Services and even state they were granted to be a Tax exempt Non Profit and yet they offer no physical address - at all on the entire site.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- The remains of Caylee Anthony may be cremated.



The attorney for the Anthony family feels that might be the best option.

The toddler was missing from June of last year until her remains were found in wooded area near the Anthony home in December. The Orange County medical examiner released the remains to the defense team recently and the Anthony family expects them to be turned over to them sometime this week.

Then the family can move forward with funeral arrangements. One of the options that is being explored is to have the remains cremated.

“A concern of mine would be the sick individuals out there that might think it would be nice to dig up this child’s grave and profit somehow from it,” said the Anthony family attorney Brad Conway. “So were she’s buried, and whether she’s cremated or not are still things the Anthony family will decide, but we’re going to make sure this child is laid to rest permanently.”

Once the remains are turned over to the family they are expecting to hold both a private and public memorial.

Anthony Family: Former P.I. Trying To Sell Video Of Caylee Site

Meanwhile, the Orange County utility worker who discovered Caylee's remains in December will be interviewed Tuesday by "Good Morning America" and is being paid as much as $20,000 for a picture he took of the wooded area, sources told Local 6 News.

David Evans, the attorney for Roy Kronk, confirmed to Local 6 News that there is a picture of the woods and it has been handed over to law enforcement.

Jmo - I think she deserves more than being cremated and put in a Urn as their Trophy - because that's what she has been all along. Forgive me If I insulted anyone with my comments about cremation.

If anything if she were to be placed in a grave and had a proper tombstone - she would have people from here to endless time visiting her and offering her their love and Peace.

Hmmm..  If their housing and services are a shelter of sorts, that could be why there is no address listed.  Very often shelters don't list their address but give a phone #, and meet folks at a public place then bring them to the shelter.  Not sure what other reasons there might be for not listing the address.

This one and only time I am going to sort of agree with the Anthony's - or Conway I should say.  People are sicko and I would not put it past someone to dig up Caylee's remains if she were to be buried.

As long as it is done respectfully, I think cremating her would be in the best interest of everyone.  IMO

Yeah, they said that like over a month ago too...She's still in a box.  (that was hard to type.)

The credit card you use has to link up to the number you have for contact, so if she wanted to call CA or GA or HOme they would have to do the same thing for her and have a specific amount for phone calls.  Then whe it runs out, you reload it.  I don't think there were anymore after they started visiting in person either.  BTW, they give them a certain amount, like 2 or 3 phone calls the first couple of days to notify someone of where they are at, so that is why she was able to call GA & CA that first day.

I just can't imagine how the great grandparents of this baby are dealing with all of this.  Still no service for thier precious Caylee.  Especially Shirley and Alex since they were one of the last ones to see her alive.  Not to mention any other family members out there that loved this baby too.  But, the A's never had any respect for their  2 year old granddaughter so I doubt they have any respect for their elderly parents either.

My father in law was murdered in NC, and we had him cremated, but buried his ashes in the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Yes...I remember LP saying that it was 200 yards up the road..I'm sure he was ball parking it but that's a heck of a lot more than 12 feet...I wish I had seen who made that estimate on NG tonight..

Those photo's have no feeling within them. They are strictly posed for one reason - Attention. They offer no Beauty or Identity as a Mother and Daughter. That's what Casey is a Attention monger and She has the Entire world looking at her Now -
Caylee paid for Casey's lack of Identity.

My Dad was cremated, his wishes. There was a large service after the cremation. He was placed in a large very nice Limoges urn. The urn is buried in a cemetary with a headstone. They constructed a box in the earth for the urn.  My Mum is there too,also cremated. That was what they wanted.
My Dad was a baptised Catholic and this was unheard of, but it was their wishes.

Deenie, why would you "grimace" at the sight of a shamrock?  Surely the thinking person you are is aware that much of this case is smoke and mirrors.  Using a shamrock shape as a marker (which is merely speculation) to Caylee's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th (or however many  ::MonkeyConfused::) resting places shouldn't affect anyone.  The alleged perp had no more religion (let alone ties to the symbolic Irish shamrock) than I do to Grrrraldo Rivera and his "religious" and cultural forebears.

Nice post..you're right, the media and all off the "players" have turned this into a circus and IMO have actually taken the spotlight off of the tragic death of Caylee, turning this into a soap opera basically.... I get the same reaction from anyone I try to talk about it too...

You do raise an excellent point about the possibility of people disrespecting Caylee's remains.  After hearing about the idiots that purchased dirt from Gacy's basement, I realize that anything is possible.  You and I, and all the other Monkeys would feel the same about wanting to protect Caylee's remains.  The only problem is that, based on everything we have seen, the Anthony's just don't seem to have it in their power to something that isn't 100% selfish.

Deenie, I totally understand why you see shamrocks in a negative light.  I too, have begun to associate the image with this case.  Seeing the photo of Caylee with the shamrock shirt really creeped me out. I thought that is was so strange that someone would stuff her shirt like they did.  They were trying to sexualize her, which is really frightening.

I know what you mean.  My sister and daughter are the only ones I can talk to about this case.  The rest of family thinks I've lost my mind so I don't even talk about it anymore with them.  I'm online or watching NG all the time.  My son said something to me the other day and when trying to explain that we loved Caylee more than her own family did I couldn't talk I just cried.  He is 24 and he just looked at me like WTH.

It is crazy that Our Hearts cannot Love or be founded - when we attempt to converse about Caylee.
I think that the Majority of Society has been so desensitized by Movies and even the Local News...that when we witness something tragic and or horrifying its to be Blinked away. And should never be reflected upon again - within a millisecond its forgotten.

I will mention this as a Prime example of Why we need to pay attention to our Local News and or media. Even when its shocking and or a What happened moment...
In 2003, I was off on vacation and I had on my local morning news TV. I watched a story on a Woman who lived more than 40 miles away from me that had her residence broken into and she was assaulted. I remember I was vacuuming and I turned off the vacuum reading the headline as I was cleaning.
I listened and I felt for her immensely due to what they disclosed on this news report. Which is never the real story for reasons of LE and otherwise. I paid attention though and I thought that poor woman ... My God
Well 5 days later the Same POS that broke into her House - Entered Mine.
If I never would have paid attention to that NEWS  - I would never have had anyone to contact outside of my local LE - which my local LE did not want to investigate because at the time I lived in a city that NO one ever ever get's broken into ..we cannot excite the perfect community ... and make them feel they have to worry ..
It all goes without saying - People need to start caring and paying attention

And God Forbid that One of OUR children were ever to be Missing - you know what I am saying.

I don't often have time to surf during the day (though could today) and can't watch/listen to vids 'cause of turtle speed dial-up we have here...and still have no clue how to respond to individ posters since I only see a "reply" button at the bottom of the page  ::MonkeyWaa::  or to myself boo hoo.

Re. a Caylee-type law(s):  wonderful intent and God love all who'd love to see such (including me), but realistically there are prob ample laws on the books to cover this kind of sad circumstance.  The prob is enforcement and how LE is already stretched and how much ready evidence LE and prosecution have to go on to take an alleged perp to trial.

Just an aside:  some years ago I was alone on our place during a really bad snowstorm, DH was away on business trip.  My very aged mare died and I had to call a neighbor to come help me deal with the situation in the midst of deep/blowing snow.  When he arrived he told me to fire up the tractor and pull her out and I just cried and cried at the thought.  He told me to buck up  that my mare's spirit/soul had taken flight and I'd be just hauling out "an old coat" out of the paddock.

It was a heartwrenching experience and thankfully I didn't have to go through it totally alone.  I've loved and lost many loved ones over the years, but rarely have I thought of my good neighbors words re. my late beloved horse until Caylee was finally found.  I'm not quite sure why ten years after that particular event I'm finally able to consider something like Miss Caylee's remains as "...just an old coat".

Now I'm royally PO.  I need a screamin' monkey icon.  I'm sick and tired of folks doing little ones in.  And I'm really PO that folks so easily forget the self-involved lowlives who've gone before...Susan Smith comes to mind (among others).

With all due respect to all, try not to get bogged down w/all the players.  Focus on the alleged perp.  The rest of the indictments can come later.  LE and prosecuters are prob just biding their time though we understandably want immediate gratification/justice. 

Caylee's remains are just that.  Her spirit is somewhere else now, God rest the sweet darlin'. 

I for one am gonna keep my eye on the prize--justice for her untimely death.  The others have to live with themselves until LE/prosecution decides to take 'em to task for their unlawful actions.  That's ok w/me.  Patience is a virtue last I heard (and hope its true  ::MonkeyConfused::)

Last but not least, God love and keep Tim Miller and all who throw in with him.

HH that night was the Start of my now Beginning - I have never ever been the Same person since .. and I was hurt in too many ways .. ways mentally and um to this day forward I don't think that I will ever sleep soundly ..Unless its daytime. He did break into my home, He did touch me, he did not physically hit, damage my body .. But he Touched me in a private area while I was sound asleep, and that I will and never can get over .. and as what I know he to this day has never been caught and he has changed the lives of countless women.  That's why We have to Pay Attention to all people that surround us, that are our neighbors seen yet unknown, our daily paths that we drive - WE must change UP ..and go different routes. I'm so sorry this happened to you...you must have been so frightened and with the predator still loose...my gosh..

I have two young daughters and I'm scared to death for them...one is off to school now and the school here is very cautious..you can't get in the building without buzzing in through the front door which is monitored..The bus driver won't let the kids off the bus unless a parent comes to the door where she can see them...even in small town USA, there are still predators. Our community is very close knit so eveyone knows everyone else and would come to help with a phone call..I also keep my shotgun close by which is probably overkill but better safe than sorry..and it only takes one time letting your guard down..

I can't even fathom a parent not protecting their children...that's what makes this case so horrible..there are so many other cases but I've never heard of one like this..but I am sheltered..I admit that

Oh Deenie, thank you.  Everyone is tougher than they want to think.  Weird that the experience is still so imprinted in my mind.  Out hilly driveway was virtually impassable that day, but my very much older neighbor found his way to be there for me--a surrogate Daddy type so to speak and me a grown woman. 

Why didn't Miss Caylee have someone like us or my beloved neighbor?  Is it just the luck of the draw?  It scares the bejabers out of me just contemplating it.

On the case a second, Greta opened her "teasers" with "Was Casey's car spotted near where Caylee's remains were found and does that place her at the crime scene?" But, there was no follow up on that in Greta's report tonight, that I saw. Did I miss something??

It took me FOREVER to get caught up!  It's midnight here, and I have to get up for work in the morning.  So please forgive me, but I wanted to comment on a couple of posts from last thread (and this one, maybe?  I took some notes, lol).

On the Rev. Grund request for info, regarding someone trying to implicate not only him and Jesse, but Mrs. Grund, well, does anyone remember the lady who was posting on Topix (I think) and WS (I think) awhile back, claiming to have spoken with Jesse on the phone as he was traveling from FL to GA?  She claimed to have seen what looked like a "handoff" of a child who resembled Caylee, and went on to describe a couple who sounded like the Grunds, and a pick-up truck that sounded like Jesse.  I believe her name was some variant spelling of "Renee" -- like maybe Ranee or Renae or something.  Anybody?  She described Mrs. Grund as being present at the handoff that supposedly took place in Georgia.

Regarding whether D.Casey knew he was being filmed, I think it must be concluded that he did.  If you see all the video that has been released, it does not seem possible that he would have been taking the specific actions that he did with someone else just standing there pointedly watching him and doing nothing to assist him, while the camera is rolling.  IIRC, J.Hoover's initial story to LP and to LE I believe (per JH's atty) was that Casey requested his presence and requested that he film the searches.

Regarding Kronk taking a photo before LE arrived, well, this may sound terrible, but if I found something that I decided to report to the police, and I had a cell phone camera in my pocket, I would have probably snapped a pic or two just for my own sake, to have proof of what I found in case things got twisted around later on.  I would certainly tell LE that I had done so, too.  Would I sell the pictures for a huge sum of money and profit from the horrible death of a beautiful child?  Uh.  No way.  It will be interesting to see what his story turns out to be.  But in the long run, he doesn't matter all that much, in my opinion.  Caylee was found.  LE has the evidence.  That was his role in this sordid saga.

And on the question of whether William Waters and/or Stephany(ie) Kostakis visited Casey in jail, well it is confusing.  But although the visitation schedule posted by rmcalo does show that WW was scheduled 7-7:45 on 7/29, and SK 9-9:45 on 8/3, I don't believe either one actually had a visit with Casey.  This was during the period when she learned that she only had 3 visits per week, and IIRC, she declined WW and SK, citing the need to visit w/her family.  Then it was on 8/8, the day before Caylee's b-day, that she declined Lee's visit for the first time.  Then she declined other family visits in the week after that.  I could very well be wrong, but I can't find evidence of visits from WW or SK.  (I wondered at the time whether WW was on the list at the urging of LE, though, to try to get some info out of Casey for them...)

I loved Klaas's use of the word "buffoon" for a certain attorney (or was it a PI??)  Let's put that on the list with diabolical and odious.

Shan suggested there has been clandestine audio surveillance of the A's home for a long time now.  I sure hope so!  It got me to thinking... what if LP has been undercover for OCSO or the FBI all this time?  Wouldn't that be a hoot?  Oh, and btw, when D.Casey did his "anti-surveillance" check of the house, I wonder if he didn't plant his own little device, though...

Here is the video of Gale St.John's psychic drive on August 11, the same day Kronk first called about the site on Suburban.  She pulls over at what appears to be exactly the spot where Caylee's body was later found.  The boy in the back seat says his stomach feels sick.  She says that the dogs are sick.  She states that "something is not right."  She says "they(?)" searched this area with cadaver dogs, but she's sure "they" missed something.  She was either very accurate, she just coincidentally happened to make a bulls-eye guess, or she was tipped off somehow.  Is there some connection between this drive of GSJ's and the report by the meter reader on the same day?  Curious, isn't it...?  (BTW, that silver Ford Focus is still at 4709 Hopespring, like it was in the Jan 2006 photo I posted last night.  You can see it in the video, just before they turn the corner onto Suburban.)

I just wanted to reply to this...then I'm really really going... The LE up here are incredibly efficient..we had a young 12 yr old girl murdered by her uncle a while back and the LE found her body, and had all the evidence within a week or two...they also gave updates regularly, not releasing critical info but to keep the public informed and confident (not sure that's the right word) that they were focused 100% of catching the perp and keeping the community protected.
The problem is in the courts..the uncle was given a light sentence for a brutal assault on another young girl although an adult, makes no less of a crime to me...he should never have seen the light of day but was instead released on probation early as part of their "rehabilitation" program...had he been locked up the 12 yr old would be alive today..
Another case was on Bill ORileys program...a judge gave a child molester 6 weeks in jail for that crime..unbelievable..
This is why I think new and very harsh laws need to be created that have no leeway.. in my book, a pedophile, murderer, rapist and others...should never be allowed into society again..

Deenie, I often ask rhetorical questions--I will never have a clue why helpless creature's lives are entrusted to folks who haven't a clue/are cruel.  It would have been so easy to give the darlin' up to anyone, yet alleged perp held on to her like a gold brick or something as a form of currency.

Its too hard to know why the late baby's family is so apparently uncaring.  I'd just say cut 'em some slack for now and watch and wait.  They are some sick citizens I think, but if we are all patient my fondest wish is that the truth will finally emerge...and this coming from someone (me) who wants to smack around alleged perp and her kin and the other lowlives.

I'm sorry about what happened to you.  Be good to yourself, and don't sweat what the cops said re. you not using the fork as a weapon.  They were prob just thinking like cops do...and forgetting that folks don't have the presence of mind to grasp potential weapons when they are in the midst of an assault.

I have a 3 year old Golden Lab, she is my sunshine. I live alone and lost most of my hearing after having several cancer surgeries (head and sinus cancer) so my kids got her for me as a pup to be my ears at night because I had gotten so afraid to go to sleep, afraid I wouldnt hear anything if someone would try to break in, etc. Since having her I have no trouble sleeping now because even tho I am almost completely deaf I can definitely hear her bark!! And she helps during the day too by barking whenever we have company. Someone could bang and bang on my door and I never heard them but since I got Emmy she lets me know when someone is here. But that's just the icing on the cake because since getting her I am no longer alone, I have a house mate that can make me smile even when I dont want to. She is a true blessing, and is my best friend. I plan to have an avatar of her made as soon as I can figure out how to get the picures uploaded to my computer. Puter illiterate here  LOL
Im sorry for the OT, it's just that I have been seeing all the great avatars of everyone's pets and I just couldnt help myself, I had to share about my Emmy. I promise I wont make a habit of it!! Promise! I would say the Devil made me do it, but that wouldn't exactly be true  ::MonkeyHaHa::

I pray daily that all those people who are turning this case into the worst nightmare possible will get their just rewards soon. Our little Caylee deserves better than she has been given, and I truly believe we will see justice done here.

Desdemona - According to Gale St. Johns youtube she was searching almost in the exact same spot that Dominic Case was which is approximately 200 feet from where Caylee was found.   I marked the approximate spot where Caylee's body was found in red.  Looks like Gayle (just like Dominic) was further down the road in the direction of the school.

Yes, you are right.  In the video, the reaction of the guy in the back seat (Travis?) and Gale and the dogs occurs around the place where Caylee would eventually be found, then Gale pulls the car over before reaching the light pole on that side of the street, before the curve.  The lady who gets out (Coleen) walks with the dog, searching farther down toward the school.  I think this is about where she stopped.

Re the pic I didn't think he would show a pic of the baby's remains but I do think that GMA really wanted an interview with him so they offered to pay for the pic of the snake to get him there. That way they weren't breaking their policy not to pay for interviews. JMHO

Yes, I got up to watch. Kronk called in the tips at 9:30 or 10 PM on both of the first calls. Then met the officer on the 3 rd call. Officer looked but said he didn't see anything. There WAS water there at the time. Kronk said he just forgot about it.Then on Dec 11 they parked there in the shade waiting for time to go back to office. Said he went into woods to relieve himself and saw the bag again, so took a look at it. The pic he had was of a rattlesnake that was there on the first or second day.

yes...it's yet another sad story...I hope they find him soon or I fear the worst  ::MonkeyNoNo::

Morning Monkeys !!  It may not be "beyond reasoning" for the PI's to think KC could have gone over the back fence of the house, through some neighbor yards behind them and ended up on Florence Harbor Street, which is the street that is behind Hopespring.  That street dead ends into that area of the woods where the remains were found as well.  So this mysterious abandonded house could be on that street ??

The whole interview only lasted a couple of minutes.....I think the most important thing was he did not call in the first 2 calls until 9:30 or 10:00 PM. Probably why they did not get checked out as thoroughly.

I admit I was suspicious about the meter man since almost the beginning. But not because I believe he was involved in Caylees death, or about him finding her. I've just been suspicious about the previous calls etc. thinking maybe he was either tipped off or just overheard something & wasn't telling all he knew. I can't believe the defense is going to go there saying he took the bag. You've got to be kidding!!! He took it and held onto it for 4 months!! I find what the pi's did alot more suspicious. I find alot of people involved in the case & what they seem to know suspicious. Anyway, I really hope they are not really going to try that. Besides, if he really did take the bag, there would be evidence of it. I know LE can tell how long that bag was out there, and if it was tampered with in anyway.

I think that if we should be cautious about beleiving D.Casey. The above was his claim and hasn't been confirmed by Hoover. However the large white paver that he is looking at clearly using as a marker and the way he opens every trashbag as if expecting to find something is strange. He only has a cursory look he knew exactly what he expected to see imo. The large white paver area is eerily like the description that Kronk was giving in his August calls which makes me think that this is where the body was for sure. It is possible it moved in the rain but I think it was right where D.C had been searching.

I just watched Kronk on GMA. he was very believable to me. Said the cop in Aug was rude to him so he just didn't care anymore. Then in Dec; needed to relieve himself, knew it was the same area & there it was! He said there was water there in Aug & the cop didn't want to go in the water to look in the bag!!??  ::MonkeyEek:: So the bag was visible then!!?? Water was gone in Dec; bag looked unusual to him, looked in & discovery!
He said he was trying to avoid this very thing by calling in anonymous & then revealing his background,too. He's been accused of every conspiracy under the sun & being a bounty hunter he figured the swamp there would be a prime place to hide a body. He was trying to do the right thing. He had a nice new haircut & all!  ::MonkeyTongue::

That's the was I read it...also Lenny said DC was searching way off the location...I think he said 200 yards trying to give a ball park estimate. He also said, in that same interview, that LE searched in that area but about 600 yards away..based on Kio's statements..either way, the bottom line is, they never found her and that area was under water which can be validated by several people...Gail St. John, The neighbor across the street and Tim Miller are three that come to mind.. defence is lost (as usual) on that one..  ::MonkeyRoll::

One sticky point for me is..was that area dry between July 16th and Fay...that is a very small area of woods to search and would have been top on my list if I was LE..I know it doesn't change the outcome but I can see Baez using it for his LE bashing defense..JMO

I have a feeling that even if TM or a volunteer searcher searching with TM had found her they would have said the same thing. That may be why JB wants the volunteers info...He will point fingers at any and everyone he can to get "his girl" outta this. Sad how many people are getting their reputations trashed over what KC herself did.

Good Morning Monken....I tend to believe him. JMO. He seemed really sincere. I think the defense is just trying to find something to cause reaonable doubt.I honestly think LE and FBI have enough evidence to nail KC to the wall and also enough to charge several more people. Just wish they would get on with it. But I am sure they are making sure all T's are crossed and all i's are dotted and I can understand that.

Has anyone heard this before...Kronk taking the bag? I think that is defense bull. I think LE would not have said at the beginning(Carlos Padilla) that he is a good guy like they had already checked him out by the time we heard his name. HE said that I believe the same day Kronk gave a statement.

Hi Monken, I watched the interview too. From what I got out of it, it seems he was being honest. At this point, they must have found out everything there is to find out about him. Don't see anything in his past having anything to do with finding Caylee, but in this case new things pop up out of the blue. I really hope the defense isn't going to try to pin something on him because he found the body. I guess they can try, but I don't see how they'll succeed unless they have concrete proof he did something, like move it or something. I don't see why anyone would think he moved or tampered with everything. I mean at worst, he may have taken pics before LE arrived, I hope not, but we'll have to wait and see about that. I kinda feel bad for him, a least a little bit. But, I truly hope he doesn't try to profit from this, beyond maybe getting some reward, and his travel expenses.
