I am here too. For a while. I don't think there is any connection to the Nicole G case at all. Didn't they arrest someone for that ?
Maybe Cindy & George are getting threats. Or, more likely, making them.
They must be under extreme pressure right now. Baez is holding on to the remains and
their daughter will just do whatever Baez tells her to at this point. Cindy always felt that Caylee was HERS. It's been almost a month since the remains went to the cheapie funeral place, December 23. All that money for Experts, no money for anything higher end that a stinkin' cardboard box.   
This whole remains issue is so disrespectful to that child.

I'm a new poster, so I don't know if this has already been discussed. I am trying to locate the date that word of the existence of the PI's video surfaced. I think that the A's attorney first mentioned immunity for G&C on 12/31. Was this not immediately after they heard about the PI's video? Just trying to understand the timeline...

It is horrible, and the lame excuses for why she hasn't been laid to rest.

There was talk of an impending arrest, but I haven't heard of any arrest.  Casey killed her, pretending to be her brother, so that when Caylee soon disappeared she could blame that "unknown" serial killer.  That is why the 9th was critical to her disappearance, but they were all foiled by that meddling camera left with undeleted pictures and video from father's day.   ::MonkeyEek::

I have thought from July that somehow the two things were related.  The charger at the car scene, the blackjack KC claimed to have,the chloroform, her counselor position at UFC Counceling center; ZG whose computer was stolen worked in the center's front office and it was the office computer which was stolen; all the "talking KC did about Cindy told her to be careful there; the dates of the NG murder and the date they claimed Caylee went missing, Then we have the fact that NG was not raped as all the other victims in that area.

Wasn't immunity talked about right after Caylee was found?

They had 3 different suspects, but they cleared all of them later. Here is the drawing of the suspect.

I am sticking with the story that Casey killed her in preparation for Caylee's demise.  There was a lot of talk after a Gretawire entry about Chloroform being used in that case.

I am feeling a bit better after talking out my issues with the evil world to my husband.  I am back and a little refreshed.  Plus, I saw my budding basketball player "Lady Leopard" win the best offense award for her game today.  She had 6 points!  Not bad for a first time player!

There was a group somewhere trying to dig up who the counselor for Cindy was but I think it was unsuccessful.

Wow.  When you list all the clues, it seems really strange.   I wonder if LE has tried to connect the two?

There is a lot to me connected to the two cases. What would be the kicker to me would if Nichole was Cindy's counselor who told her to take Caylee from KC. What I believe might be the tie in if there is one. KC would have to have the front office computer to get rid the information first, then on to NG to get rid of the rest of the info. I do believe it would have taken an accomplice in it though.

And, I agree with you - I heard all the people that have been brought in for questioning were cleared so far.

I am sure they have looked into the possibility. According to early released reports, there was DNA at the crime scene, and they should have been able to connect those to someone connected to the Anthonys if that is true. Since there was no rape, I have always been curious as to where they got the DNA unless it was hairs or something.

Yes, that escaped me. I did not think of that.  This was evidently a brutal type murder as they have released very little about the condition of the body. Of course of NG was sedated with chloroform, it would not take a lot of strength to cut her up or whatever happened.

12/29/08 Deputies want know what a private investigator was doing in the area where Caylee's body was found. They've been told he was videotaping the area a month before Caylee's body was discovered.  The private investigator was apparently working with the Anthony family at the time. It raises questions about whether the Anthonys knew the remains were there a month before they were found.  Private investigator Jim Hoover says he recorded the wooded area where Caylee Marie Anthony's remains were found about a month before they were found.  The private investigator who works with the Anthonys told Eyewitness News he came to the area the month before Caylee's remains were found and videotaped the area. He says the tape shows Caylee's body was not there at that time, but now investigators want to know why he was there with a camera in mid-November.

I really hope they have investigated it thoroughly, but it is easy to not connect cases sometimes when you have different divisions and/or detective groups investigating. It is not like Orlando is a small town where everything goes through one central area. In large cities like that, two cases can have small connections and not get connected by the two different investigative teams.

12/30/08 Casey Anthony's brother, Lee, has hired attorney Thomas Luka.  Lee's lawyer, Thomas Luka, has the same address as Brad Conway. Thomas Luka practices mainly in the area of criminal law. Tom Luka has handled murder and attempted murder trials, DUI offenses, drug charges, burglary, armed robbery, domestic violence charges, and assault and battery cases. As both a prosecutor and public defender Tom Luka has valuable experience that enables him to effectively advocate for his clients.  "It's possible criminal charges could be filed if the state feels that Lee Anthony mislead law enforcement officials or tampered with evidence in any way," Luka said.
While Luka maintains Lee has fully cooperated with authorities, hiring an attorney was the right move because Lee and his parents are also considered witnesses in the case against Casey.
Luka said, so far, the state has not subpoenaed his client to testify. However, if that happens, Luka said he'll make sure Lee gets full immunity from any possible charges he might face.

12/31/08 Lawyer: Caylee Anthony's grandparents need immunity.  The lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony wants his clients to have immunity before they speak with prosecutors again about their daughter, Casey Anthony.  Immunity would ensure the couple could tell investigators everything they know without fear of prosecution, attorney Brad Conway said.  He doesn't think the Anthonys would say something that would land them in legal trouble, but he wants them protected.  The Anthonys did not ask him to request immunity, Conway said. No deal has been made yet, he said.  Investigators are waiting until after Caylee's funeral before they approach the Anthonys again, Conway said.

Thanks guys.  I have to admit, by accident I did a bad thing.  When told about the accident victim (no I will not go into the name just in case some of you do what I did) I did google her and the image just popped up under "images" on the main google page.  I think I was scared for life. 
One of my biggest fears is my husband getting in a car wreck.  He travels all over Ohio, WV, and TN for work.  This picture is burned into my brain and I can't stop thinking about it. 

BIG TIP:  IF a monkey says don't look....  Really....  DON"T LOOK!  Some things are not to be seen by monkey eyes.

Then after seeing it I couldn't believe poeple got paid to put it out there.  It was awful.  Sorry.  RANT over..... 

I am so hoping that photos of little Caylee never get out.  I for one could not handle seeing them.  I know that now for sure.

Oh and I hope that Casey actually had a good look at Caylee's remains and that the thought of them are permanently in her brain FOREVER.

Maybe they didn't get a match to the DNA in their database. Casey's DNA was probably not on file but it probably is now. I think that convicted felons are required to submit their DNA but even then things happen so still they may not have gotten a match.
BTW I love your avatar. I have a  German Shepherd they are amazing dogs.

I keep forgetting to mention this.......Cindy said she removed a "butter" knife from KC's car and washed it, along with a pair of KC's slacks, and who knows how many other items that were IMO, evidence.

That's just a theory I have been rolling around in my head....lol

They went to the A's within an hour to secure it because of something they could connect to the crime scene. It could have been anything really, but they might have been going to get whatever they thought KC used to cut the duct tape.

Hi Peri!  I don't know about the bad thing....but I agree....I don't look.  At my age I have seen nd done a lot....but I know the things I don't want to see or hear.....so I stay away from the temptation and curiosity...most of the time ::MonkeyWink::. I think eventually there will be pictures released and hopefully enough time will have passed that the shock of it will have lessened. Besides IMO seeing bones is not as traumatic as seeing the body in other stages of decomp.  IMO it will not bother casey one bit.....she will merely stay in her state of 'Zanny did it.' I do not believe she will ever take responsibility for her actions.

What made me sick is that I didn't actually google the IMAGES.  JUst her name and up they popped.  I saw 1 picture and I think I will never forget it.  THe family not only lost a daughter but they probably saw those pictures, thus victimized again.  That is a serious crime.

He was the writer that covered as well as uncovered bits of truth / lies in this investigation of Casey.

He entered the hospital early December for cancer treatments.  Shortly after, he had posted on his site, that he was in DIRE NEED OF A NEW LAPTOP.  I have been following the replies, and there appeared to be only 6 the last time I looked.  There were some posts offering their sadness to his loss of computer and at the same time saying they were unable to contribute at this time for replacement.

To my knowledge, I don't think he ever received any donations, as per his request for a new one.

Just went back out of curiousity as well, as REMEMBER he and Cindy had exchanged very exclusive info via their emails...and he in turn contacted YURI..and there was an interview given between Sean and YURI.  That interview was to be released .....but we have not seen anything as of yet.

Sunny, one thing about me is that I am very sensitive to things I see.  I need to remember that and know that bad things are out there.  I don't have to go searching for them myself.  One reason I don't do scary movies.

I am not sure a butter knife would cut duct tape.....but we certainly don't know for sure it was a butter knife, do we? Coming from Cindy's mouth I tend not to believe a lot.

Meet another dope~I had never heard anything about the case and so I googled to find out about the lawsuit........couldn't close the page quick enough. Although, when my daughter took driving school, they showed the kids actual footage from drunk driveing accidents and all kinda wrecks. It sure scared her BIG time, now she is super cautious and buckles up before even turning the engine on. That poor family.........

Cindy said it was a butter knife....but it actually could have been a steak knife with a much sharper cutting edge than a butter knife.

Cindy gave them Caylee's brush, too....which wasn't Caylee's brush, but Casey's brush sometimes used on Caylee.  I'm just saying Cindy likes to blur the lines whenever possible.

I agree....I don't do scary movies, blood, guts, gore, torture...none of that...so obviously I don't watch many movies ::MonkeyNoNo::

I actuall thought Cindy said "KITCHEN" knife.  Much more general and can include sharp knives...

I think I remember it being referred  to as a kitchen knife as well on I think NG. When I think of a kitchen knife I think of those little sharp knives instead of a butter knife.

What you may remember is the immunity for Cindy and George was right after the body was found. They hired that attorney the day the body was found and within days he was talking immunity for them.  Lee was late hiring his attorney.

It was pretty shocking and IMO the family definately has a case for not wanting those out there.  THe sad thing is they ARE out there and you don't even have to try to find them.
My hubs is a very agressive and fast driver.  LIke I said he drives a lot.  I pray each morning for safe travel and that God bringshim home to us.  WE need our daddy!
Bones probably wouldn't be as shocking in the box (I do watch CSI and that is ok) but if the pics of her at the scene get out I think that would just be so sad for the A's and for us.  I don't care what we think if the family, NO FAMILY deserves to have that kind of stuff out there.

Seame, I know I'll be a day late and a dollar short, and someone else will have probably answered you, but being a duct tape queen myself, a butter knife won't cut it.   A scissors is the best, most successful tool to use.

Enquiring minds want to know....butter knife will cut duct tape. My butter knives have a little bit of a serrated edge. I tried it on both cheap tape and the kind with the mesh in it. Took a litle bit of time to get it started but , it did cut through it.

Hey Everybody,  Im have been thinking about something for awhile and then this new jail house video has brought it back to my mind again.   After hearing Casey whine and whine about the LE not using resources she has given them and about how they wont let her talk, I remember when she told LE that she had gotten a phone cal from Caylee just the day before, then she says, she was talking about her book and her shoes............

                                   I think maybe so was her shoes or maybe a shoe......So to me
                                    she was still dropping hints, I wished they had just sat back and let
                                    her talk, and see what else she said about what Caylee had said,
                                    It seems to me to be her way of getting info out without really saying anything!

Casey had a month to think of lies and " connections " to other people. She was on computers, hers and wherever she slept. She is devious and it must have been on her mind that sooner or later Cindy was going to find her or someone was going to come looking for her to see Caylee. You can find out a lot about ppl from MySpace. And on the Internet, Monkeys can attest to that. I am on FaceBook and I am amazed at how much personal info and pictures my DD puts on there about her life considering she has kids and is in LE ( and is well aware of what evil lurks out there ) up here. I've given her Sh*t over it, but it falls on deaf ears. But, hey I tried.
Once, she had her house broken into and they took her uniform ! Along with all the electronic stuff / money, jewelry etc . Her uniform had logos on it from where she was working before this organization she is currently with. That might have come in handy for a perp.   
Got to run to go shopping and errands. Been very cold here, today it a bit of a break from the bone chillin' hibernating cold.

I truly hope none of them get any kind of immunity.....I have faith that there is more than enough evidence to convict casey without giving any of them immunity.....I am fearful that by doing so one of them would say something,,,,and perhaps it be a lie....to cause just one juror to have doubt. Boy I hope so personally.  After little to no justice for Nicole Simpson I never take anything for granted.

I tried one of my regular silverware knives, and it wouldn't do a thing.  But, the edge is a dull edge.

You know, that is what keeps me going in this case.  God sees and knows all.  HE knows when, how, and where Caylee died.  He doesn't throw out evidence because it is gained a certain way.  He needs no search warrant.  He searches heart and knows minds and motives.  He will judge and punish.  May God have mercy on her soul.

It really makes me wonder why Greta was in Orlando yesterday, since it is going to be a busy four days in Washington DC, I'm surprised Fox let Greta go down there instead of covering politics.

The discussion was about photos of Caylee's remains possibly showing up on the internet.  Nikki's accident photos were used as an example.

Oh  and if they had let her continue to talk, she also mught have let out more stuff for LE to use against her later, you see how they just let Cindy ramble on and on without stopping her, wish they had done the same with Casey!

Last night we were discussing that horrible photos do get leaked sometimes to the public.  Someone brought this girl up.  ANd that her parents are suing because the shots being leaked.  Also how much we hope CAylee's don't.  See prior thread for the discussion around page 70.  I brought it up again to admit that I was very disturbed.  That is all. 

Nothing, just that the crime scene photos of the accident was all over the internet, and hopefully pictures of Caylee and the crime scene won't be all over the internet also.

Perri, honey, ya gotta toughen up. Just remember, when you see those gruesome photos, that the person is not there. Also, remember that there are millions of cops and firemen and (especially) EMTs and paramedics who see that stuff everyday. My sis is an EMT, and when she first started her runs, she would tell me about them....she needed someone to talk to about it, and since we're in different counties and I know virtually no one in her county, and she never used names, it was ok. I had 2 things that I told her she could never tell me about...and wouldn't you know, her 2nd day on duty, one of the forbidden 2 happened, and she PLEADED with me to listen. It was like cooties...she had to pass it on to get over it. I listened. Now, she doesn't need to have help processing these things.

But mostly, remember, the body is not the person. Oh, yeah, and do get mad at the ghouls who post that crap. It is very disrespectful to the families.

I didn't want to look either, and yet.. I have talked myself a blue streak with my young adult sons, trying to convince them about the dangers of driving too fast, as well as drinking while driving.  So many of these teens/young adults think things only happen to others not possibe that it could happen to them.  So even tho all three of them said, 'mom, we've heard it all, seen it all, we KNOW, ok?'  I still made them look.  I still volunteer to be the designated driver, even tho they are in their 20's.  Someone has to.  Pics like this that end up on the net can serve to save the life of someone else, and in that, Nicole's life/death matters.  IMO

I hate to sound crass, but there really is nothing to see in the crime scene and photos of Caylee.
A pile of bones, (and those are all over the internet if you ever look up any forensics) I doubt they would be very disturbing unless one had never seen bones in a class on on TV.

What I hope they prevent is the SELLING of any of those for BLOOD MONEY for Baez or the family and I believe that is what was planned. They would have had no objection to the sealing of them unless they had other plans for them later. I personally question if Baez is out of money and is trying to raise money to defend this case with sales of photos of Caylee or related. We know they sold the pictures of KC as a kid, and the video footage of Caylee.

I have to say...

The pic of Caylee's skull has already been on the net, inadvertently released by OCSD in the first batch of pics from the crime scene.  IMO, that's one reason those pics went up and then went right back down, before being released again. It was the pic with what seems to be the book in the foreground.  The skull is in the back part of that same pic. 

I posted that pic in here, blown up.  Someone at another forum had superimposed another skull next to the actual one, for comparison purposes.  The skull with the duct tape on it was hard to see at first, yet on closer inspection it can be seen.  The pic has been talked about in at least two forums, most likely many more, so no doubt it will hit the full internet at some point. 
 

I think it would just be Caylee's skull that would be disturbing. I am trying to figure out what the fascination of Casey as a kid would be, we have only seen a few of her as a kid, she was just an average looking kid.

Wyks - I disagree, I don't think that is a photo of Caylee's skull.   Just yesterday I grabbed the original photo released by OCSD and brightened it myself.  I don't see a skull at all.

I could not see the skull, I know a lot of people could, on another forum the pics were being scrutinized, do you see this, do you see that, my eyes must not be that good, I could not make out half the stuff in some of those pic. I was looking at the pics almost standing on my head, for different views, and still could not make out half of what people were seeing. I don't look at the pics no more, because I was going  ::MonkeyConfused::

Whether it is or isn't Caylee's skull, there will likely be more talk out on the net that it may be.  I agree that we probably won't be able to tell if the pic was doctored, just as with any pic on the net.  Supposedly with that pic, if one has IE7, it can be blown up and seen, without using any kind of program.  I don't have IE7 so cannot try it that way.  I'm just saying... that pic is already being discussed on the net, and likely will be talked about even more as time goes along. 

It's a game of confusion for Conway, Luka & Baez.  Provide enough confusion....client can get off.

Hi all.  I'm trying to limit the quote stacks and stay O/T when I'm here, but I thought the conversation was important.  Just wanted to say that the original post had a link to a news article, and that's pretty safe.  There are a few photos, including one of the mangled car, but no body.  The description of her injuries disturbed me, though.  I'm not going anywhere near those pics.

And if this was the skull or other evidence, where is the evidence flag?  They put evidence flags down so that when they take pictures they can identify the location.  This is why I kind of doubt the "book" picture, however in that shot the flag could be out of the picture as the yellow object was obviously not the main focused of the picture.  In this case if this was the skull as claimed it is the focus of the picture and there should be an evidence flag.   Except for pictures which show evidence flags from a distance, not one picture has been released of physical evidence at a flag.

From those crime scene photos, whether it's Caylees skull or not, it's amazing that Kronk found the body. Seems to be very grown over and deep in the woods.

I've been catching up on back pages here and this post caught my attention immediately.  I wonder if Casey/Baez are holding Caylee's remains hostage.  It's awfully ironic that George & Cindy made the announcements about plans for a public memorial and a private funeral after the Defense had time to examine the remains.  The next week, Brad Conway announced the A's were cooperating fully and seeking immunity.  Suddenly, it's taken nearly a month for 4-5 experts to manage to fly into town for a few days to examine bones?  George & Cindy have been forced to wait 25 days. Coincidence???  I don't think so.  Given this latest jail video, I'd say spiteful Casey/win-at-all-costs Baez are sending a definite message to Cindy & George.

The jail video that was recently released made my head spin!  Casey is am emotional bully for sure.  I found myself almost feeling sorry for GA and CA.  It was very telling how she was crying about not knowing anything and then went straight in to Jose tells her everything.  SAY WHAT!  Sometimes I find myself wondering if any of this will ever make sense.

There was a video on NG with a PI cutting open garbage bags and digging behind a house. Makes me wonder how they knew to look in plastic bags.

there's no way to pm or e-mail another member. You might be able to get a mod to do it for you, from what I'm given to understand, but you can't just send a message.

There's another sketch that looks WAY more like Lee, even down to the eyebrows and the bend in his nose. But I think the people who gave the description were yanking LE's chain and deliberately describing LE, and didn't actually know anything about the crime at all.

Some speculation...
I suspected Casey is a serial killer a long time ago. I believe she went to Blanchard Park and scoped it out as she let Caylee play on the monkey bars (monkey bars). And she planned to kill Cindy with chloroform in the same manner and blame it on some rapist.
If I read correctly Nicole was killed in the area? It could have easily been a trial run. Casey has a dominant walk and body language. Even though she's a woman she walks like she could take down someone in a wrestling match. In the photos of her dancing at Fusion she was the aggressor. I could see he playing with chloroform and it going too far. But she needed to see how much it took to paralyze a woman the size of Cindy.
I think her plan went bad and now this mess is the result. She couldn't get to Cindy because George the cop protected her. Even to go as far as inventorying his gas cans. Then pissing her off that she killed Caylee in a rage.

I think probably she did at least consider killing Cindy. But I don't see how a 5'0", 100 lb girl overpowers a much taller girl who jogs every day. And certainly I don't think anyone's going to mistake Casey for a man.

But I could see Casey using one of the men in her life this way, esp if he were already doing this kind of thing for kicks. Could be there was no rape because instead the killer used the turn-on to power sex with his accomplice. This is really way-out wild speculation.

I have felt from the first time I read that ZG computer was stolen that this tied in someway. There would have been a lot of personal information on that computer also. I know on the blog she posted about it, she said she had pictures of her children which she did not want out.  That ZG is was listed as the contact on a flyer UFC put out about their counseling center in March, so that may tie in someway with the name also.

Is the ZG who wrote the blog that got her computer stolen when her office broken into, the same ZG who worked at UCF (UFC)? I didn't realize there was a ZG at UFC until reading it here recently. I do recall reading NicG was also at UFC, possibly CA's counselor?

It's fun to explore this theory.
If Casey seemed harmless and asked this person to read the ransom note (?) and then took her from behind with chloroform and duct tape it wouldn't be unreasonable to see the victim fall in less than 30 seconds.
I don't even know how this other person was killed, where or the name though. I'm just trying to pick from posts here between all the other chatter.

That is the big question - Was Nichole G the counselor for Cindy? It would make sense since that was close and a community counseling center where they would do a sliding scale according to income. Within weeks, the "same name" ZG computer stolen, Nichole G killed, and Caylee killed. Keep in mind Nichole G was killed on the 10th and they ALL originally told that Caylee was taken on the 9th of June.  Not to mention that KC hung out in Blanchard Park all the time.

A psychologist said that? Has Casey been diagnosed with schizophrenia? Because if she has, there's the defense right there-open and shut. But she doesn't seem to have schizophrenic tendencies.

I'm completely underwhelmed with her display of anger on the phone--I expected some kind of real freakout, but it actually just looks like she's trying to act angry because she's been told that's what innocent people do when they're accused of something. (I've seen a lot of not-so-innocent people fly into a rage when accused of something they know they did, so I'm confused about that.) The parents look exhausted with trying to get answers out of Casey. She won't meet with them because she can tell they want to know the truth.

IMO Cindy's pretending to the media and to other people, that she thinks Casey is innocent, so that Casey will read this stuff and trust her and maybe end up telling her what happened.

Back on topic--maybe nothing's obvious about Casey, but one thing--she's obviously guilty. IMO she's a psychopath--no conscience, no remorse.

I don't agree she's "borderline."  I don't think sex is what they mean by "self-harming behavior." They mean cutting, overdosing, attempting suicide, etc... not just the run-of-the-mill thrill-seeking, risk-taking behavior Casey was doing. And Casey never puts herself down, cuts, or even looks depressed.

I do know "borderline" is a real diagnosis, but I think it's widely misused to label patients the therapist can't categorize any other way. What are they supposed to be on the "borderline" of, exactly? I find it very hard to tell "Borderline" from simple immaturity. I've met very few teenagers who didn't fit most descriptions of a "borderline" personality.  And a lot of the folks I encounter in DBT aren't Borderline at all--they're depressed or abused or bipolar.

Basically they diagnose you that way if they can tell you have no actual psychoses and you don't fit NPD, HPD, or any of the other personality disorders. Personality disorders are not an "insanity defense." Neither are most psychoses. But schizophrenia is.

Of all the euphemisms for dead I've run across, "safe" has got to be the weirdest one.

Is this a title?  If she is a former anything, why is she still involved?  Sort of like Todd Black has stepped down, yet (as of 1/6/09 is my last quote from him) he is still giving quotes to the media.  Do these people say they are not involved publicly only to continue their role as hired by the Anthony family?

I wonder if after KC killed Caylee (6-15/16) she searched the internet & even local papers, for recent crimes in the area. Maybe she got those names/places & crime info from the local papers and decided to loosely use some of those names (ZG) & places (jblanchard) to put out there so when Caylee was found (she probably expected her to be found quickly), LE might think to tie those things together. She had 31 days to think & research. Caylee wasn't found though (which makes me think why not report her missing right away-I think cause she knew evidence/dna might still lead back to her). Maybe she stayed away from her family that whole time-and didn't report her missing yet-because she knew the body would decay and evidence would fade. If she thought this way though, then she was probably careful not to leave fingerprints on duct tape (unless she didn't think of that at all). I dunno, I'm confusing myself here now. Sorry if I'm confusing all the monkeys here. I'm just saying, she did have 31 days to come up with all sorts of thoughts & ideas of what to say. I think when it happened the way it did, with Cindy calling, she may have tried to stick with what she could remember regarding names & places! If she was indeed planning to chloroform Cindy then I would think Casey would have to lure Cindy out, maybe to Blanchard Park. It would be easy to chloroform her from the backseat as Cindy drove (was parked) and Casey was in the back with Caylee. Then she could dump Cindy in the park and the rapist would be blamed.
Maybe Caylees murder was an after thought since Tony wanted a boy and didn't allow Caylee to stay over. Caylee was interfering with his big Fusion promo job. Casey needed to eliminate her parents and her daughter to step into her new life. Bella Vida.

Nobody knows yet--LE isn't putting it out there how she was killed. I didn't realize they had put it out that there was no rape. We know chloroform was involved, apparently there was no penetration, DNA was found but in what form and where and how they haven't said. Three different suspects have been arrested and released.

I could see if she got the victim to sit down, to read the note, but I doubt she'd be able to get a jogger to do that, unless she caught her at the very end of her run.

During the last court session it was easy to hear the SA and Baez mention that certain items pertained to another or different case.  Is it possible they were referring to this, still open and active, case?

I'm loving this theory. Yes she did have 31 days to cover her tracks. And since she didn't make an attempt to kill Cindy and wouldn't have the chance then she just went with the Caylee kidnapping thing.
I think Casey felt very comfortable with Blanchard Park the same way I feel comfortable with my childhood park, I know everyone's hours, movement, when a stranger comes in, and all the regulars.

Casey is an actress, she could easily lure someone in, that's her job (in her head) and she was assigned to lure people to Fusion. She seems harmless and approachable. If she looked panicked at Blanchard Park with a ransom note I might fall for her crocodile tears. Predators pick their prey.

I know this is far fetched but remember Dahmer... no one imagined how deep it really was. And hideous crimes happen. And they always say "he/she seemed so normal".

Premeditation is something Casey is not even getting close to, she's manipulating Baez to go a totally different direction to fit her needs. She's sticking to her kidnapping story like glue. When she protests so much and think she's in control is when clues point in another direction.

Things are not always what they seem. Casey is a murderer. How much of a murder is yet to be determined. While most cases of child murder are simple this one might not be.

regarding another post, a butter knife is just as handy as duct tape. I use one for a screwdriver and can cut most things even with a plastic one. Duct tape only needs a nick and then you tear it.

I just don't see Casey killing Nicole G in the park, if there was dna evidence found on Nicole, by now if Casey or Lee was involved, and their was any suspicion from LE I would think by now they would have checked their dna. Does this make sense, fell asleep by computer and am half asleep. ::MonkeyConfused::

First LE is going to check area rapists, those in jail and others on suspicion, then they will check homeless people in the area, many are transient and move to other cities especially when the heat is on. No one would suspect Casey at this time because it was brand new. And there were no chloroform cases to match it with yet... 8 months later there is.
Which makes me wonder what LP was fishing for in that river.

I have a set of stainless eating utensils that include the proverbial butter knives (that will not cut duct tape), but also a set of very sharp, potentially lethal knives meant for cutting meat (can also be called steak knives).

On June 9 a Zenaida Gonzalez who works a UCF got her office broken into and her computer stolen, next day Nicole G got murdered in Blanchard Park, who was a student but also a therapist at UCF, she was jogging and was killed. The police have not released a lot of circumstances surrounding her murder, but supposedly chloroform was used on her. Maybe the therapist that Cindy was seeing was her, or maybe someone connected with her, there is no info on that aspect. Her murder was different then other murders and rapes at the park, she wasn't raped. I hope that this helps some.

Why do I not find it impossible that Casey could be involved in another murder besides Caylees.  If one is capable of committing such an act against ones own daughter why not a total stranger.  I can't help but reference several years ago there was a young couple who together kidnapped, killed and sexually assaulted young women and filmed it.  The first victim was her younger sister (can't remember the couples names offhand).   It has always struck me odd that Casey gave the 6/09/08 date (day before Nicole Ganguzza was killed).  Did she have help? Yes the pattens seems to be that Casey was accessing Tony's computer. She wasn't there while she killed Caylee but then after the murder she got on. Could be that she was linking up to the Fusion connections for that Friday evening, since her new life had just begun and she didn't have anything holding her back from her future with Tony... yet.
Sometimes internet will run faster with a simple delete of cookies, I routinely do that. Like this site has pop ups and others have tracking cookies that attach, it just takes a quick history and temp file delete to make sites pop in faster.
Yes, I do believe Casey accessed Tony's machine. She didn't have access to hers at home so she would have to use someone else's to access her myspace and emails. At this point I don't think she was worried about covering her tracks. And even if she did the history is still on the harddrive and browser pings.

IIRC she was found across from the post office where the trail runs behind it.

Investigators Reveal Information About Man They Believe May Have Killed Ganguzza

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Investigators at the Orange County Sheriff's Office said they have collected DNA from at least one suspect in the slaying of Nicole Ganguzza.


Authorities said they're currently awaiting results of lab tests.

The 26-year-old University of Central Florida graduate student was abducted, sexually assaulted and killed while jogging at Blanchard Park on the evening of June 10.
Officials would not yet identify the suspect in the case.

Investigators said the individual is likely someone who may have killed more than once and could still be in the area.

Investigators said they've collected DNA from people who live near the park and worked there. Detectives are focusing on one suspect in particular because multiple sources told WESH 2 News that he matches a psychological profile done on the killer.

Women who exercise at Blanchard Park said they're glad to know investigators are closing in on a suspect in the case.

Since Ganguzza's death over the summer, some women have stopped working out along the park's trail. Many said they're exercising inside the Blanchard Park YMCA instead, and they're also taking kickboxing classes to learn self-defense.

Women said they're relieved to hear there may soon be an arrest.

"I wondered about that, you know, what was happening. (Was there) any follow-up to that? We hadn't heard anything, so, yes, that's good news to hear," Gloria Magee said.

"I've just stayed away from that area, so I'm very glad to hear you say that somebody is close to being caught," Mechele Petrie said.

"I was warned by my mother not to come out here so early. I should wait until midday when people are here," first-time park visitor Nicole Lopez said.

Women at Blanchard Park said an arrest would bring closure not just to the Ganguzza family, but also to the entire area around the park.

I think that was the Homolka case out of Canada. Paul Bernardo (?) and Karla Homolka. She's out of prison now and has a child. And yes, Casey is probably a good match for that type of personality as Karla had no conscience either. ::MonkeyNoNo::

That couple was probably Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka.  Very disturbing that she got some kind of immunity for testifying against him, she served just 12 years, and now is married with a baby.

One Zenaida Gonzalez blogs on a website called Brevard County Moms. She was flooded with emails and phone calls asking her if she had anything to do with Caylee's disappearance, so she created a website posting to set the record straight that says, "I am not that Zenaida Gonzalez."
