When you say "embedded" link in the instructions below, do you mean the one that says to copy and paste into an email or IM? I tried the instructions, but when I pasted that link and previewed it, the link didn't change. And when I hit the flash icon and did the preview, it was a blank white screen.  ::MonkeyWaa::

To have a YouTube video show up in your post.

1.  In Youtube click on the EMBEDED link and copy it
2.  Paste that link in your message
3.  PREVIEW your message and notice the hyperlink that is showing (usuallly ends in a -1)
4.  Copy that hyperlink because that is the one you are really going to use
5.  Go back and FIX your post by deleting the EMBEDED links and pasting the Hyperlink you copied
6.  Highlight the hyperlink
7.  Click on the FLASH icon
8.  Change the size from 200,200 to 600,485
9.  Preview (just to be certain) and post

Pretty soon all that will be left there is MrsKub and the two leaks, the Enforcer and the snitchers, lol.

i was sitting here "MUSING" hahaha...anyways, ya know how many appologies i seen over the last so many days/weeks...given by people AFTER already being booted from a place...ya know IMO, and im sure MINE alone...but i have always have felt in situations such as this, ya all shouldnt had done anything to have to apologize for if you had any strength of character to begin with.

Im a different sort than many of you have been lucky to find here in sm, I dont forget and I dont all of a sudden start thinking ...ok..its alright this one or that one screwed us over...they apologized..now all is rainbows and unicorns.

You have some very valid points Seamonkey.  Just because someone apologizes doesn't mean it will be all rainbows and unicorns.  To me, when someone apologizes it is a start.  I'm willing to give a person that much.  Forget?  No, I won't forget.  What I will do is try to be civil.  Are/Were the apologies sincere?  Time will tell.    It always does imo. 

Yeah, you are probably right!!  Unfortunately, we are not all perfect.  We, at times, make bad choices, make mistakes, and even are too trusting!

And yes, I have apologized!  I am not ashamed of being imperfect!!  And ITA, it does take a big person to forgive!!

Mrskub used to be a member of SM.  She started a forum called ChatnGrumble and invited mostly people she though didn't' like SM or that she could turn against SM.  The moderators over there are Destiny and ******* (both banned at SM as is Mrskub now).

I just watched, and read every post from Klaas's slideshow, and the tears are just streaming down my face. I can't believe it. I knew there was another forum, and I knew there had been attacks. I had no idea it was like that. No idea. If reading that stuff from people who I've posted beside in a common goal, and laughed with, prayed with and for, and looked forward to "seeing", hurts me this much, I can't imagine how some of you feel!

I'm so sorry this has happened. Klaas, if I could hug you, I would! All I know to say is that intentons and motives are never the first to arrive, but always stay the longest. When that's all that's left in the room, they'll stand out for what they are.

Scared Monkeys will be here, along with all of good will and purity of purpose, long after the other has fallen apart. There are far too many posters there with egos that will be fed, and when there's nothing to do that with, lies are easy. We spent most of the week dancing, and one of my coworkers lost three pounds!

Worst, most moderated forums, LOLOL.  I think if you asked anyone from Websleuths or the old CTV forums they would beg to differ. 

We are actually pretty easy here.  Contrary to what has been said at CnG, it is a rare occasion that a post is deleted.  Sometimes we have to edit out an inappropriate word or two or remove a link.  The biggest offender since October 2005 of deleting posts or part of posts was *******. 

I'm really a kid at heart.  Oh, I guess you could already tell that from the sock monkeys.  ::MonkeyHaHa::

This is just to follow up on my post on the previous thread...Mind you this was pm'd to me by ******* one of the first times I left the caylee thread and started looking at other threads on the cng forum. Isnt it cute how he treats his new members?? He STALKS them. what a comfy warm feelin i got being accused of stuff basically , that at that time i wasnt aware of, nor who most the members were til he got me curious with the following pms. When i refer to how people changed after i was gone for like a year i was referring to gm..if anyone is wondering...which is a whole other place of idiots. and when i said shuffeling thru muck to get to the news, i meant most the arguing in the threads here..which at the time i wasnt aware were actually drivebys from THERE sent to here to cause disruptions. and since my comp speed was slow made it harder for me to read things that was the main issue. But now i found firefox is faster here so i dont have that prob..not real fast, but better lol. I only explain some of what is said in the following posts so it leaves no one wonderin what i was referring to. Keep in mind while reading this..this is the exact pms i said made me more curious and looked at things more closely and the people i was in there with, including mrskrum...as i stated in my post on the previous thread.

ME--perhaps ya didnt catch the part where i said i can here. Meaning I can NOT even post in sm ithout pop ups and comp freezing. I can only read in sm for like a half hour then im frozen...gotta love dial up...I have not been in any chats for over a year and i do come back its liek all these places have gone wacky with one paranoid thing or another. All i am tryin to do is keep up with what has happened in the last year and tryin to see familiar faces, but the faces i use to know seem to have changed too. MrsKub is fully aware of why i am here and stuff, perhaos ya should read in the caylee thread whenh i even expressed the reasons out in open. I do not know what so called war that is goin on between forums, and I frankly could give a flyin rats butt. I was a member of sm years ago til i couldnt get int here anymore due to the older comp, i followed the nah threads back then. Go back and see, i think ya can do a search of member's posts in sm. Some still remember me. Then when i could no longer do that site i went to gm. But still couldnt do the chat there, a year later (recently) i got a new comp but still on dial up. The places i use to go have changed. I thought this place would be easier to navigate, and it is, when i was invited i came to find out. and was happy i could. But it almost seems you think my motives other than what they are oir why even follow me around, which it seems to be what ya doin if you know where i been ior to even say ya hope im not relayin things back to sm?... Makes me question, who are YOU to be doing that to one of your members?
Heck i hardly post, when i do post out in open im hardly answered or even aknowledged to be even there and yet i get this? lol weird.



OB--Sorry to hear that..Yes I had constant problems with SM pop ups as they turned them up full blast to make the most money. You should consider dsl or 20 dollar cable package.

Who are your friends? Sorry to offend you but people are being lied about,harrassed,threatened,banned and lied about by klaas and texasmom at SM..Its not fair. If people realized what SM did to me and others I dont think anyone would go there. They have hurt some very good people.

I have no clue who you are..People other then me keep noticing you are constantly looking at our membership and possibly watching where they post. Also very interested in the SM threds here. So I PM'D you to see what was up.

The only war is SM constantly lieing and attacking the people here. We are too busy working on the case but its getting tiresome. ME---dont matter anymore who my friends are , they seem to all be leaving. But like i said, all these places seemd to have changed, the people, even the threads where i use to be able to follow stuff. Its like mucked up with other junk. I had said to mrskub in the caylee thread the reason i liked it here was i didnt have to muck thru all the junk to get to the REAL stuff which was the real info, not peoples over opinions and stuff. I look at the sm thread here cause quite frankly i cant anywhere else lol. And sure i like seein whats posted about some of the members i use to know, how else will i know whats goin on. But not like i have an opinion one way or another. Hell, i dont even know half the people they mention so why would i care lol. I wouldnt know of any lies cause i cant even talk to anyone really from or in sm lol. So i guess im just a curious person roamin thru the threads is all. After caylee was found i started lookin at the other threads more. Lets face it, it really isnt that active here, what else should i do while im workin or wakin up in the mornin..i go wherever there are threads active here

The following slide show should have made me angry but ... it made me very sad.

From way back ... I have posted along side of some of the members of CnG at various forums in the cause of Justice for Natalee Holloway and ... closure for her family.  Others ... I truly felt I had connected with on the SM Caylee Marie forum.  I could not have been more wrong.

At least I know where I stand with the trolls at RU unlimited.  I can deal with that no problem.  However ... when I consider words of the posts I just read and ... then considered the authors of those posts ... I am emotionally drained.

If it were not for the rejoicing that would be heard from CnG members all the way over to the SM forum ... I would thow in the towel.  If it were not for my almost four year quest to explose the corruption that has prevented justice from prevailing for Natalee Holloway ... I would throw in the towel.

I'd rather the discussion be kept here but if you think there is something that will "add" to the NH thread I guess it's OK.  I just don't want to turn a thread about NH into a thread about CnG if you know what I mean. 

Sometimes if quoted posts get messed up once it's hard to fix them..so a couple quotes before you could be the real problem.  It happens.

Janet - please don't take it too hard.  Sometimes people are easily swayed or they cannot imagine others wouldn't have pure motives.  I suspect that many of those very people you are talking about may realize they've made a mistake before too long. Most of them are welcome to come back here.

Ok then, we understand where each of us is coming from, I hope? also couple one of the people bein attacked was my mother. So ya, i take issue with anyone who messes with my family.
If you get to know me you will find im not unfair, i just call it as i see it. and believe it or not i have shown great patience where none was deserved. It takes a lot to get me upset, but once i am, im passionate about it.

You dont know what happened here 2 years ago, how much sm was there for me when i needed them most, so yep i have issues also with people who wish to bash them. I am indebted to sm and all that were here. I take issue whenever i seen Klass' name run thru the mill. SHE allowed me to use my moms ID while I didnt even knwo if my mom would live or not so i could come in here and have people to lean on. So yes, I take issue with the unfairness that has gone on. I wasnt able to voice my opinions at all for so long due to the comp...but i can now and i certainly will when i see fit.

Otherwise, i rather just goof off, im not a serious person by nature. BUT i do respect the people i call my friends, and i expect others to show that same respect when addressing them or about them, not one person i seen get bashed, attacked, or treated badly out of the ones i call friend deserved it.

yes sm and klaas and the rest were here for me, basically to hold my hand, i remember saying i could get thru it because i felt like i had a bunch of monkeys walkin beside me as i went thru it comforting me. I think thats why im still in shock over how some that were there for me and showed such compassion have changed so much. I didnt expect to come back to some of the stuff i did once i was able to get to some of the places i couldnt. The same people who were there for me, also were the same ones a year or more later treating her and some of the other ones that were there that hadnt changed like dirt.

It may be from the BFN chat where ******* claims I lied and tried to deceive "poor Dave" but I stand by anything I posted in there.  I did receive a phone call in response to an email I sent to Hans Mos who said exactly what I said he did.

Dave Holloway has direct contact and could check out anything I said easily.

But I wouldn't put it past ******* to just lie about what I posted. 

I have some pretty telling emails from him, PM's rather that are nothing but F bombs and calling me obscenities then he would come on SM and quote scriptures.  Go figure!

Thanks mytime.  I had considered him a friend for a long time.  He knows why I hadn't spoken to him for months when I got the email inviting me to C & G.  And regardless of what he says now, I stood up for him in the past; the proof is here.  I'm embarrased by that now, but that's what friends do.  That last time he started attacking people, I couldn't take up for him in the open forum.  He was out of line, and it wouldn't have been right for me to defend him. 

Correction...I did forward a request to him from another monkey so that they could communicate after our friendship ended.

Oh, TexasMom, no need to apologize!  Of course I do not hold anything against anybody because people have no way of knowing sometimes who is lying and who is not.

Thank you for your apology but I have long since gotten over any hard feeling I might have ever had because I do understand that no way to know in a direct conflict who is lying and who is not.

I noticed my name came up a couple of times after I left last night, and I wanted to come back and simply say that I'm not getting involved in all the drama. I have a full-time job, a house to clean, and two elderly parents and two elderly dogs to care for. That's all the drama I need for a while.

Here is what I see taking place on the internet over and over again. Audrey, Becky, and Carla (A,B,C - geddit?  ::MonkeyTongue::) all get to know each other over the internet. One day, Audrey tells Becky that Carla was mean to her. Becky turns against Carla. Then, Audrey and Carla make up their differences, and Audrey tells Carla what Becky said about her. Suddenly, Audrey and Carla are friends again and Becky is out in the cold. Becky makes friends with Deana, and they both go off to a different forum and tell everyone there how horrible Audrey and Carla are.

Art, OS, and Tibro - GM is not your enemy and neither am I.

Seamonkey - I just checked, and the last thing posted in MO was a little sock monkey story that Puma did. There's no mention of anything over here at all.

I would say that everyone who posts anywhere is responsible for their own feelings. There might be some people at a particular site who are enemies of particular people, but I don't think we can assume that everyone who posts somewhere is necessarily anybody's enemy.

I personally don't like to spend my time ax grinding. I read the Caylee thread here and post occasionally in it, I post occasionally at GM, but mostly chat a while in the evenings about snow, recipes, etc. I was posting in the No Smoking thread at CnG until I got booted. Heck, I even post at the Red Heel Sock Monkey message board. At none of these places have I been interested in making enemies or carrying out vendettas. That probably makes me be boring, but it's just how I am. I don't think we should assume anyone's relationship with anyone else based on where they make posts.

Well, you did name three people and say GM was not their enemy.  What about the rest of us? 

That is your term, "your enemy" and not mine.

But basically, I do agree that where a person posts does not necessarily reflect their feelings for somebody else.  It is their own individual posts that do that.  It just depends on whether they are one of the ones piling on or not I suppose.  It's a shame that people feel the need to launch personal attacks on others in any context.

Art, OS, and Tibro chose to leave GM over a disagreement. I was trying to reinforce to them that people at GM are not their enemies, even though they made that decision. I can't speak to the feelings of others at GM regarding specific people here, but speaking for myself, I don't want to be anyone's enemy, regardless of where on the internet they might post. Life is too short for that, and I never liked being forced to take sides anyway. I never would even do that on the playground when I was a kid. Probably something haywire with my sock monkey stuffings, I guess. ::MonkeyHaHa::

Sometimes I will take sides and sometimes I won't.  Mostly I will if I feel strongly that one side is right and the other wrong.

Think mine comes from being the youngest of five, I had to learn to pick and chose my battles.

But for me, there are some things worth fighting for.  And I think some people are just not comfortable posting at a place where even Red is bashed then coming on his forum and making themselves at home.

I can appreciate that as well.

Those are choices that each of us has to make for ourselves.  I post at forums on totally different topics as well, dogs, conspiracy theories, some geneology, crafts, cooking, writing, so I get more email than I can ever read but wish I did have the time to really enjoy all of them,  maybe I will when I wrap up with my dogs as I will be moving to apartment with less maintenance.  More time for me then.

Much of this reminds me of the refugees build-out, one thing I do know is that lessons learned with these forums is that at any given time, the anonymity that's afforded all of us can also be used by some to harm others. I probably do not agree that you can 'stay out of it', that is if you stand up for your integrity - but if you choose not to, then I suppose you can tell yourself you aren't part of it.

Either way, it takes a toll on many to read and suffer through not only the drive-by's but knowing they are being pursued wildly by irrational people that comes close to stalking, in their drive to publicize their personal information to include name, location, profession.

Where does all the anger come from here? Whether it's grumble or golden, isn't the one issue to truly be angry regarding is the missing and possibly murdered individuals???

If I were a family member of Natalee's I would be so discouraged by the actions of some. If some of these self-made super sleuths think there are no boundaries then they are very mistaken; if they think the end justifies the means, they are very mistaken.

Hi Nonesuche - just keep in mind that CnG was actually born out of the Caylee Anthony case more so than the NH case. 

Thanks Klaas, understood. I guess my hope was that some would have learned from Natalee's case originally, where the boundaries are.

I don't disagree BT but I also closed down a forum recently, was criticized by a few for having done so or even intending to do so, due to exactly these types of associations and attacks at other forums spilling over into that one. It wasn't even a forum for missing persons, just one for friendship and chatter.

I think the can't we all get along needs to be applied liberally across the forums. I'm not starting arguments nor posting outrageous slings at other posters.

I guess I just don't appreciate people stalking my children because they don't like me.

And I certainly wasn't doing anything to them in the first place to warrant any such attacks.

My "role" in my family and with my firends was that of the peace maker!!  I didn't like for any one to be mad at eachother!!  Life is too short!!  However, I got tired of being a doormat - constantly be used for money, gifts and vacations, etc!!  And in the recent months, I have to take a stand!!  Yes, I actually say no now!!

I have friends and family members that don't like eachother.  I can not change their minds, I have learned that the hard way.  I don't like to be forced to take sides, especially when I think they are both wrong! It is usaully a stupid misunderstanding!! However, I don't allow them to even talk about it with me!!  I will not play both sides!!  But they are adults and have earned the right to think and feel the want they want, whether I like it or not!!

That said, I think it was time to tell the truth and make a stand about CnG.  We can not ignore the evil that exists.  Too many people were getting hurt and used like pawns in a dirty game!!  I will not ignore it nor I will I be intimidated by it!! 

I have admitted this openly, if I was too get banned from SM.  I would of have it coming - even before CnG!!  I am guilty of alot of o/t!! I would not have liked it!  Probably would have vented some - but I would still take responsibly for my own actions!!  I would not expects my friends to come to my defense or wreak havoc on the board!!   I would not expect others to take responsibility for something I have done!!

I realize that not everyone is going to get along.  A banned monkey, of course, will not like SM!!  That is just the way it is!!  I can not change this!!  Every side has their own reasons for things that have gone on - that I was not privy too!!   We all make choices, some good and some bad, some without thinking and some with blinders on!!  I will not takes sides about things I truly have no knowledge of!  I can like a banned monkey as well as Klaas for banning them!!  If that is seen as wrong or that I lack character, then I can only say - I'm am trying hard in my life to not pass judgement as I do not want to be judged!! 

I have tried to make ammneds with any posters that I have offended!  One in particular made the first effort.  She had no reason to either, as I wasn't always very nice.  However, she was been the bigger person and for that I will acknowledge and respect her!!   Actually, I wanted to do the same but wasn't sure how to!  I was waiting for the right time - however she made the first effort and for that I truly appreciate!!

I really didn't join this forum to make friends that was just an added bonus.  I have made a few and for that I am thankful - as my real life friends don't understand the "whole Caylee" thing.  Joining the internet world has been a lesson in itself- some good - some bad!!  And I am sure I have much more to learn.   That is why I have buckled up!!   ::MonkeyWink::

And I tolerated being called a LIAR and worse for two days before I ever even responded to a certain monkey on the Natalee forum, a moderator no less.  I had lied about nothing.  So finally I did defend myself because I think to do otherwise is a form of enabling and eventually would make me a part of the deceit.

Yes, we all see our role in response to things differently and I do think most of us try to do what we can determine to be the right thing.  There are certain things I just won't be a party to and collecting personal information on people for the purpose of stalking them on the internet or their children is just something I don't particupate in.  Not even in the context of providing a supporting role of audience.

Just got done watching the slideshow for the second time.Wow.People disrespecting Red,Klaas,as well as SM and their still posting and viewing here as i type!

I've had this stuff on my mind all night and all morning. I've been oblivious to a lot of the details as they were happening, and seeing Klass's slideshow last night was a real shocker for me. I've digested some of it now.

Here's what I find so hard: If someone wanted to start another forum, fine. If posters want to belong to more than one, or even leave SM for a site that suits them better, then no problem. I know that friendships have been formed here, and it's rare that a poster wouldn't be missed, but certainly no ill will would be brought to a poster that leaves for his own reasons. Look at Robots; he is ever so fondly remembered and missed and any prospect that he would begin posting again is always met with excitement.

If there were disagreements over the facts or theory of a case, and those differing opinions were distinct enough to cause some to want to further their line of thinking elsewhere, among like minded people, then I believe there was provision within this forum to accommodate it. The Shango thread comes to my mind as evidence of that. However, even if a forum was created to persue that line of thinking, why trash the site and people you are leaving?

It is undeniable that SM has been the birthplace for the alliances that were transferred, and also undeniable that a great debt is owed to Red for that opportunity. It is also undeniable that without Klaas, SM would not have succeeded. Acknowledgement of that isn't opinion, it's simple truth.

It is also truth that many of the hurtful things I saw in those posts were from posters I know I felt genuine affection for, and so did many others. Lala's was always someone I could count on for good information and a wonderfully sharp sense of humor.  I won't pull out other individuals, but suffice it to say, that all were, at one time, held in high regard and part of a family formed around a good common cause.

I can only think of one reason that this new forum requires the secrecy, and "oath of SM hatred" that has so obviously been a cornerstone to its' foundation. There's lies and guilt in the mix, and just like Aruba, that sort of thing cannot exist in the light of day and openness.

I'm really saddened by it all. I've been a moderator here for a long time. I've never tracked a poster's whereabouts anywhere on this forum for the purpose of spying or questioning their loyalty. I've never ever seen a poster banned except for something really inappropriate. The O/T emphasis does fluctuate, but in general, the posters themselves play a part in determining where on the scale that emphasis is implemented. My own observance is that there is more tolerance during slow news times, and the moderators are responsive to direction on that.

I feel the loss of long time posters, and I'd like to leave it there. The viciousness in the posts I have read tell me that those who have left have regrets. It's glaringly obvious that the respect and caring afforded posters here, is not available where they are. I would also imagine that a handful of "special members" talking to each other day in and day out on any given topic is pretty boring as well. From the tenor of the posts, I expect that after the distribution of the code rings and spy glasses, the party will peter out.

BUT, since SM continues to be a place of lively discussion, I suppose they can always borrow our conversations second hand.............

Seamonkey, I know what the eight of you feel happened, and I know what the people who stayed feel happened. We've already hashed that out on the forum where it happened. I don't want to fight it out again here. We're probably never going to completely agree, since people see things so differently. Those of us who stayed miss those of you who left, but we understand that it was your right and choice to leave as you did.

I have followed the terrible disappearance of Natalee Holloway since June 2005.  First by reading @RWV (Riehl's).  Being unfamiliar with the world of forums and blogging I felt too intimidated to join.  I also read on SM but computer froze up so often when I accessed the site I became discouraged.
Perhaps it was due to my very limited lack of computer savy, or maybe because I was on dial-up.  In 2006 IIRC I found bfn and decided to join>I was in the chat room and it was some time before I learned there was a forum where people post their opinions.  It seems hard to imagine I was so wet behind the ears...at my advanced age ::MonkeyHaHa::..

Well although I seldom post but read frequently, I guess I should weigh in on the events of the past days.  Firstly by offering my thanks to Klaas, Red and all the Mod's that do such an incredible job.  Then by expressing my appreciation for the dedication, the tenacity, the research abilities and intelligence, and the caring shown by so many of the members in general and towards Natalee and her family. 

For all those that have been slighted, insulted, lied about and have sustained grievous harm I am deeply sorry. 
Those that bring honestly and sincere concern for Natalee and her family know who you are.  Be proud.   I applaud you, all of you.

Nope. Everybody has a different opinion of what happened, and I can't control what anyone else thinks happened. I can only control my own thinking, and I think I'm not going to fight about it.

I have to do training a lot for the staff here at work. If I tell a group of 30 people something, there will be 30 different versions of what I said when they get back to their desks. Everyone sees and hears things differently. C'est la vie.

I was invited to join CnG back when it first started. THe person that invited me was very involved in TES and I thought she was a very caring, good person. I thought it was just another forum that would continue to try and get answers.

I lasted a few days. Once there I could not believe the posts I was seeing.

I asked to be removed and was, but not before being lied about and stalked, all behind the scenes, of course.  But, I do have the proof and hope I am never pushed to produce it by the gruesome twosome and the enforcer. AKA "the leaks"

So, some were duped into joining that place by a previously very respected Scared Monkey who somewhere along the line, drank the kool aid.  (I think someone slipped it to her)

There are laws against internet stalking.  I have to go out for a bit but when I return I will try to better educate myself on them.

I think it is just a bit over the top.

Why do they need all this personal information and are even willing to phone people long distance to try to get it? 

There is no good reason to drag the children of posters into their sicko acts of desperation or whatever it is they think they are doing.

I can "verify" most of what Art has said about her leaving CnG.  This was all told to me at the time it happened!! So yes, Art asked to have her account removed! And yes, she was falsely being accused!!

Destiny had asked me to put the letter for Diario in tif format and jpg format.  This is what her source at Diario was asking from her so I helped her out with that.  There was never anything said be me about whether I thought it would or would not be published.  Destiny is FOS again.  Below is a copy of the last email correspondence prior to the letter being published in Diaro.  Actually at the time DESTINY WANTED TO MARRY ME   ::MonkeyHaHa::

OHMYGAWD!  I have been reading and sitting on my hands so as NOT to reply.......but this one got my ass off my hands and in the air!  Anna...that is the BEST!!  And now that I am here I will add my 2 cents.....I have seen some really good posts CBB and Blue Moon among the best. I too was appalled at some of the posts and posters in Klaas' collection from C&G....I hate a two faced person as badly as I hate a liar ....and I see we have  2 faced people who have come crawling back to SM with their tails between their legs. Klaas is a much better person than I am...I would have told some to FUXK OFF. This is a great example of why, not only in my personal life but in my cyber life, I am EXTREMELY careful of who I let into my inner circle. I am prepared to stand behind ANYTHING I POST. I don't have to worry about it coming back to bite me in the ass. I hope some have learned a lesson and I hope  it doesn't come back to bite you in the ass anymore than it already has. C&G is run by misfits...people who don't fit into the norm, weirdos, egotists, liars, stalkers, and on line sexual predators. For those still posting over there.... if you don't think it can happen to YOU, ask those who have now become targets of their 'one time friends and confidants.'  I have seen others get pissed and leave and start their own message boards....SM was here before them and will still be here when they are gone....and so will I and others who have no need to run off when we don't get our way. Ok I am buckled up !!  But if I do not post this - then I will lack the same integrity and character as I did a few months ago!!

I am a Caylee poster!!  I was invited to GM - not really knowing what is was all about.  I thought it would be fun to join another chat!!  That simple!!  I had never even seen the forum!!

Shortly after I joined GM, I was banned from CnG!!  Even before that point, my eyes started to be come open.  In all honesty, at some point, I started to drink the Koolaid  - then decided I did not like the taste of it anymore!!  Some of my friends that got banned and where upset.  Merely, because they did not know why or what they had done wrong!  It was the just the principle of it!! So I did attempt to contact Mrsk and find out why!  I honestly could have cared less!!  However, she chose to ignore our requests for an explanation!! 

Anyway, I am certain there were certain members of GM that did not like me there and felt I could not be trusted!!  Of course, they were reading the posts at CnG!!

BT was very kind and sweet to me and she made me feel welcome!! That is my only experience that I can go off!!  And for that, I am thankful.  And I feel bad that her feelings are getting hurt!!  BTW, at this point, I would defend anybody that has treated me with kindness and respect!! 

So, if like BT, am I a bad person??  I don't understand the rules!!  ::MonkeyConfused::  Am I allowed to like all of you?? 

I have posted along side Kermit since way back and ... granted we have had our issues at times ... I actually few the Natalee's Freebird coop ... I am not a very good team player but ... I stand behind his/her integrity 100%.  All Kermit's afforded ongoing time and effort researching this case has been about exposing the corrupt Aruban investigation as well as ... supporting the family as they have been forced to ride an ongoing roller coaster from H--- ... compliments of Aruba.

Do you remember the other day when you told Carnut you thought some people didn't trust you because you were nice to SM, do you remember what he said? He said he had no problem with you being at GM and liking SM too, that in fact, BT had always been nice to SM as long as GM had existed.  Just do what you feel is right, and you'll feel a lot better for it, IMO.

texasmom, you are certainly entitled to your opinion.  I'm not sure what you are talking about as I don't really know you.  I don't want to know either as there has been quite enough drama and I don't want to add to it.  I'm sure that we may all feel "stabbed in the back" in some ways.  I just wanted to address Kermit, not fuss with anyone.  I don't consider myself "caught" as many here knew I had joined CnG if only for a short time.   My choice of words was unkind and I apologized to the one they were unkind to.  I do not apologize that I might disagree with some things but I should disagree in a kinder way.  I was stalking no one, researching no one or lying about anyone.

Jen, I think it is more with me a difference in beliefs. I never believed Natalee was in the trap.  As much as I looked and tried to see what others saw I could not see it.  Also, I always wondered how Kyle had so much time to blog, email, post on forums while he was on this expedition.  I always wondered if he was enjoying the attention he was getting from the several places he posted and embellished his postings.  I have not doubted the quotes that are attributed to Kyle and I remember reading much of that when he orginally posted some here.  I was also told by my daughter's boyfriend who lives near the town that Silvetti is from and he assured me that he was a good guy.  As you can see I don't have proof.  This is what I was told and in the case of the cage what I did not see.  Therefore, after all is said and done and it is all true I will aplogize for having misgivings about it. 

Leroy, GM is another forum, but not a lot of posting takes place there. We're mainly there for the chat room. Some of the people in chat are still posting at SM, some are former SM posters, and some don't even know what SM is. We generally get together in the chat room in the evenings and talk about the stuff that old people talk about - recipes, aches & pains, pets, weather, TV, etc. It's all pretty ordinary really.

I just cannot understand why you feel compelled to tell everyone over and over you don't choose sides. To a degree that is determined by the company you keep. Exactly why I have made some of the decisions that I have.

From my personal perspective, there was no need for embellishment or enjoying attention at Freebirds for Kyle.  The first place the information was supposed to go, was to Beth.

It's not as if "Kyle" were some anonymous blogger as most are, so his embellishments (if they were such) could have been easily proved or disproven.

However ... they must adhere to the back-stabbing.  Why else would any poster who upheld Klaas and the Scared Monkey site remain a member of CnG while being fully aware of the back-stabbing.

Casa, I am not going to bash you.  You are entiltled to your opinion as much as anyone else.  But I don't believe you get it yet what has so many upset.  NO ONE WILL EVER know what was in that cage because the Persistence set back and let AOE remove everything from that cage.  NO ONE KNOWS WHAT WAS IN THAT CAGE. NO ONE.  Mos and his team removed it and likely destroyed whatever it is.  They were allowed to do that by Schaeffer, Silvetti and Kyle and not a one of them had ever told the FBI what they witnessed until the Freebirds called their hand. 

My gratitude goes out to Kermit and ALL the freebirds.  Kyle stepped in it and now he is paying the price.  My understanding he and Caps are at CnG.  I hope they are all happy.  They have played with Natalee's family and I DO NOT CARE FOR THEM for doing that to her family.

None, when GM was first started, there were disgruntled people in chat who vented some. If I recall correctly, you weren't really there at the beginning, though. It was a bit surprising that you even joined, since you had previously stated your less than flattering opinion of Carnut. Once you did join, you were probably only there two or three times, and you haven't been there at all in a long time.

I don't deny that there was grumbling at first, but that died out a long time ago. If anyone is telling you differently, they're telling you the wrong thing.

If telling the truth about GM is making it worse, then I'm sorry, but I see no reason to lie about the facts.
