I've got 2 closets and 3 drawers torn upside down looking for pictures!!

I've got no less than 5,000 of my kid!

Mom had lots and lots of photo albums and when she passed away, I took the ones of me growing up over there with intentions of getting them organized...............  yeah, right!  :roll:

I did find my 8th grade school pic in a frame with no glass, buried in a drawer. It's terribly faded on one side, ( hair looks GREEN) and you can see where the frame was because it's all that's clean!   ::MonkeyHaHa:: Here it is. I'll post another when I get over to the house.................. probably tomorrow. I do have one of me and my son as a baby taken for the church directory that I'll post, but I'll need to block out my ex's face........so give a minute!

I love angels, too, Bud's. The doves at the top are from flower arrangements sent in sympathy when Mom, Dad, my brother, and grandmother passed away. It may sound morbid, but it's meaningful for me. I use Christmas ornaments as soveniers when I travel, so when I decorate, I remember the trips. Lot's of memories in my Christmas tree.

Our honeymoon in 1987 was on Providenciales (Provo) in the Turks and Caicos.

We went back in 1992 and once again in the latter 90's.

Still beautiful -- but was more so in 1987 before gambling was approved on the island.


Another beautiful, desolate spot -- San Salvador in the Bahamas. Haven't been there in about 7 -8 years.  One road around the circumference of the island -- with stop signs at the 'airport' to yield to arriving and departing aircraft. :-)

I haven't read back :oops: to see why these places are being discussed -- but I have pictures if it helps anyone.

They are 2 of my favorite 'off the beaten path' 'desolate' beach spots.  ::MonkeyCool::

Mostly because I can think of a few times that I let my 'guard' down -- where I was not thinking of protecting my identity or my family -- which could have left a few crumbs for someone to follow.

Like, once I sponsored someone who was 'supporting a cause'. I sponsored them with my real name. With my real credit card. The same credit card which was closed last week as the credit card company alerted me to fraudelent activity on the card. I'll chalk that up to coincidence.

And there are 1 or 2 other instances where I might have been 'too comfortable' to have my guard up.

I'll consider it 'lessons learned'......

MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour(that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Some nuts (optional)
Small splash of vanilla

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well . Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using)and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to share!)
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

I just made it and it works! Very good! I dropped in a couple of the Nestle tiny choco eggs into the batter and that was awesome! I didn't have any chocolate chips. You could add dried fruit or nuts too. I then put the measurments of all the dry ingredients into zip baggies so I can just grab a bag, and add the wet ingredients when I want a cup.  Let them eat cake!
