Hoover can't remember if he's ever been arrested ... can't remember what celebrity/politician/athlete he's protected ... but he remembers EXACTLY where everyone sat at the Ritz .. oh, and by the way ... he's not impressed with staying at the Ritz ... he's "stayed at hotels before" ... 

AND MORE IMPORTANTLY ... according to Hoover ... the whole dinner at the Ritz ... when CinCin & Georgie & Lee & Mallory ... had just found out that Caylee's remains had been found ... there was NO ... NONE .. NADA ... discussion about it?!  If that's true ... the SA needs to use this to show that the whole A family and everyone involved with them already knew she was dead and where she would be found!

Hoover is the man who videotaped the other Anthony family private eye, Dominic Casey, in the woods where Caylee's remains were later found. According to Morgan, Hoover believes Casey's brother led him to those woods.
"He believes the tip came from Lee Anthony," Morgan said.

Hoover also revealed Dominic Casey told him ABC News paid Casey's attorney, Jose Baez, big money, $200,000 to $225,000, for videos of Casey and Caylee, and later said Dominic Casey told him who, after investigating, he believes Caylee's father was.

"He thinks it was Jesse Grund," Hoover said.

"He thinks the father is Jesse Grund?" Morgan asked.

"That's what he had mentioned," Hoover said.


NOTE:   Cindy told investigators she "sent someone" to those woods the month before (Dec 11th)

I was thinking the same thing earlier today when I was watching the hearing.  Either that or I think George brother-in-law might be well off too....from what I remember from his FBI interview.  I think he mentioned that when he spoke of his sister and how she is mentally unstable.

So by what I'm reading what he is saying about going to retrieve Caylee's remains, the Anthony's who went on LKL and also the live Caylee sighting in the mall, were they not commiting fraud getting donations while they knew she was dead? The latest discovery documents, ongoing Florida Bar Investigation into his representation and this Friday’s Special hearing request by the State’s Attorney’s Office all seem to include a common denominator: Kaitlyn Folmer and abc.

That's sweet Newf. My sister's exes birthday is birthday is two days later than his first child. My sister went into labor and had my sweet baby nephew on the end between day. So it was 1st son, 2nd son then Daddy's birthday right in a row. Plus their Rottweiler was in labor the same day my nephew was born. So 7 puppies plus a baby.

Okay, I have seethed about this since yesterday. That boat that George sent out all the press notices about is about as far from a search and rescue boat as a yacht is from a kayak.

I am just livid over those people trying to disgrace the name of Caylee with such a scam. I have worked with SR teams for over 25 years and that is NOTHING like the boats they use. First of all the boat is TOO BIG with TOO LARGE of an engine to be able to take into areas where you would search around shore lines and marshes like Florida has.

Second it is fiberglass, and you need aluminum boats for that type of searching. Fiberglass would be ruined in no time if that was what it was REALLY used for.

Third, it was NOT equipted with the right type of sonar equipment for SR. What they had on that boat was for friggin FISHING. Most likely BASS FISHING

Do they think the general public is SO D*MN STUPID as to fall for that? Evidently the press was that stupid.

I hope the thing sinks and alligators get both that criminal with KFN and George. That is how really hacked I am about this travesty.

Now I just watched the raw video of George and Holly..several times George tells Holly 'even the police dept doesn't have equipment like this.'  And he says something like, 'when we put this boat into the water to look for missing children...' well, is George under the impression that the police department is going to him up or Dennis and ask them if they could bring their extreme bass boat out on the lake/river so they can use it because 'it's got better equipment than ours?'  Huh?  When George had his breakdown or fake breakdown, whatever you want to call it, I had an itsy bitsy tiny weeny hope that maybe George was gonna do an about face and confess to what he knew, etc, etc.  Hearing him speak today, I'm believe that man has had a total mental breakdown and left some of his brain cells at the motel.  I wonder if their dogs are gonna be the next collateral damage (is that the right word?).  I need to go to bed.  It's 3:51am right now, no matter what time my post says.  LOL

It sounds to me like GA family has WAY more sense than the rest of the bunch. They appear to have separated from the sick bunch long before the implosion. I would be interested in hearing from GA dad or mom about what they thought about KC.

Holly Gagne. Is this the Holly Gagne who lives in Orlando who was born circa early 1970's? I believe so.

I was viewing Equalizer's recent flickr photos of Casey et al. One of the 'girls' looks eerily like Holly, but of course I have no way to know.

But if this is (the) young Holly who appeared on Nancy Grace's program, a Holly who is that young, this goes from bizarre to just pathetically pathetic. How old are Cindy and George? Mid 50's? And a 'family friend' who is young enough to be their daugher speaks for them as a 'family friend'?

The enmeshment knows no boundaries! Have there been any other 'family friends' vouch for them on national tv?

Are there NO same age friends who can vouch for them? LOL.

I thought parents had boundaries that their childrens same age friends are their children's friends, not their own friends. But alas, seems there are absolutely no boundaries in that Anthony family. And I'm sure if one tried to break free of the enmeshment it would not be pretty. IMO it would take generations of seeking mental health to undo that level of dysfunction. Casey was wrong, she IS level.

The only way I see it being able to work for her is if it were to some how try and prove that she was mentally unstable or distraught at the time of the murder.  Given that Baez in his own words refused to allow Casey to undergo psych eval when the old DP attorney suggested it, speaks volumes that she would test to be a rational and sain....in the words of Sunny, she is just evil.
Trying to throw CA/GA/LE under the bus for the murder I do not see feesible, but I am wrong a lot so you never know!  IMO they are all guilty, maybe not of murder, but of something.  We all look at Casey and the 31 days she spent partying it up and living her life as if Caylee never happened, but we do not talk much any more about the 31 days that George and Cindy and Lee did nothing.  Yes they say to LE that they tried, but given what we have seen of them so far, with little effort on their part they seem to get the results that THEY want - so I do not buy the bullshit story of "we tried for 31 days"......its not like Casey was in Mexico, she was roughly 5 -10 miles from home.

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - "It has come up, so I have to deal with it. I have to protect the record," Orange Circuit Judge Stan Strickland told the court on Wednesday during a hearing over a potential conflict of interest motion.

"We need to make sure the record is clear on exactly what the situation is -- exact financial arrangements -- and that Ms. Anthony knows the arrangements and waves any possible conflict of interest," said Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton about a the motion filed by the State over how Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, was being paid for his services.

"We're telling you one does not exist," Baez responded.

The Judge asked Baez a series of questions. "Between you and Ms. Anthony, is there any literary rights fee or agreement; does one exist?" asked the Judge. "No Sir," said Baez.

The judge then asked Casey Anthony several questions regarding her agreement with Baez. "There was only one retainer agreement you signed with Mr. Baez?" asked the Judge. "Yes," Casey responded.

Then the judge called attorneys for the prosecution and defense into a private room for a closed-door session. Casey was asked to join them. There, they discussed the intricacies of the attorney-client agreement. Those details are now sealed.

When that meeting was over, everyone involved walked back into the courtroom. Judge Strickland addressed the court saying, "this was just a motion to determine whether conflict existed. My finding is, it does not," he added.

Before the hearing was adjourned, Baez asked the judge to remind everyone that what was discussed in the closed-door meeting was confidential and not to be shared or leaked to the media.

"I shouldn't have to remind you," said Judge Strickland. Ashton responded, "we don't need to be reminded of our ethical obligations."

Baez looked over and asked, "You okay?" "No I'm not okay," Ashton fired back. Judge Strickland spoke up saying, "you know what, this is getting old, and I'm tired of it," and then promptly adjourned.


New revelations in deposition of former Anthony P.I.

In other developments on Wednesday, James Hoover, a former volunteer private investigator for the Anthony family, offered his testimony during a deposition. What he had to say surprised the lawyers representing Zenaida Gonzalez in her defamation civil lawsuit against Casey Anthony.

When asked whether he believed Casey's story that a nanny, with the name Zenaida Gonzalez, took Caylee, he responded, "what I believe doesn't matter."

Lawyers with Morgan and Morgan deposed Hoover for several hours. They claimed they learned two shocking tid-bits of information.

One has to do with what led another P.I. who worked with the Anthonys, to search a wooded area back in November -- the same wooded area where Caylee's remains were discovered by a meter-reader a month later.

Hoover said Dominic Casey spent the entire time on the phone. "I don't think he was talking to Cindy. I don't think he was talking to George," Hoover said. When asked who Casey might have been talking to on the phone that day, Hoover said, "possibly Lee?" referring to Casey older brother. "It appeared that he knew more about that particular day ... that particular search, than anyone should," Hoover added.

Hoover also talked about what he believed was an inappropriate relationship between Dominic Casey and Cindy Anthony, something the State released in discovery documents earlier this year. He gave one example of the night investigators fingerprinted the family.

"Mr. Anthony and Dominic were sitting on one chair and Ms. Anthony was sitting on the other, and they were like holding hands and doing this kind of thing," Hoover said. "And she was talking about, 'he's her rock ... she wouldn't be able to get through this.'"

In addition, according to Hoovers testimony, he said he had heard that ABC News had allegedly paid Jose Baez around $200,000 dollars for some home videos of Caylee.

Regarding the defamation lawsuit, the goal for Gonzalez's attorneys is to prove that Casey's nanny story is a lie. They argue that, during the entire investigation, no one had been talking about this alleged nanny, which they believe helps their client.

Private investigator Dominic Casey canceled his deposition, and for that, he could face contempt charges.

Judge puts funding of Casey Anthony's defense off-limits for now

The public may never learn how Casey Anthony is paying for her high-powered legal defense.

Circuit Judge Stan Strickland ruled Wednesday that he saw no reason to expose the defense team's finances.

Prosecutors had asked for a look to ensure that lawyer José Baez was not playing two roles for Anthony: defense attorney and story agent. This would be a conflict of interest, and Anthony could raise it on appeal, Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton argued.

"There is minefield in the path of this case," he said. "We are not trying to embarrass Mr. Baez."

It is sounding to me like Mr. Morgan is going to be able to win his case based on testimony alone.  When he wins this case it is sure to put a large wrench into the defenses stories thus far, and a huge hole in timeline and story...not to mention it adds more charges to all these assturds for lying under oath.

Many things get my blood boiling in this case, some more than others and it seems like it changes daily, but today it is the fact that they knew Caylee was dead.  They had quite a good idea where she was approximately a month before her body was discovered.  Yet the day before the remains were found the were on LKL broadcasting false sightings.  Then came home and wined and dined at the Ritz while Caylee's little skeleton was sitting on a cold metal table at the medical examiner's, the parts that had been retrieved at that point.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, just to try to make myself feel better:  I hope they rot in He!!.

That's what I wonder too. Why would they send a PI to look in the woods if they KNEW she were alive? It makes no sense! Someone had to know something to send a PI to look in there. Who knew what, and why send someone else to look? Why don't they all just come out with the truth? Yeah, I know! Seriously though, what kind of people are they? Hearing that those PI's were sent in those woods to look for a body (I see no reason those PI's did it other than someone SENT THEM to do it) but, knowing now why they were there makes the A's and all their "sightings" and just their whole insistence on everything all the more suspicious to me. There is NO proof of her existence. Do they think she'll get off based on a fictional nanny? I'd have an easier time believing if KC accused another family member (all the evidence leads back to the house), than some person who can't be proven to have ever existed! It makes no sense that they haven't backed off ZFG. Is it just because KC is being sued, and they don't want to lose? Even if KC lost, it's not like she's going to have to pay anything, ever? I bet it was DC, too.   Right after that hearing, he cancelled his depo and announced he had obtained that high-priced lawyer.  He couldn't afford that lawyer without the blood money from Caylee's death!   He had to make sure the judge was going to rule for them - and CA was busy texting every little court detail to him!   Just my opinion.

I've tried so hard all these months to believe they were just clueless and especially in major denial, but now after hearing so many things, I just don't know! It seems to me they (or maybe just LA)  knows alot more than they're saying? But then I tell myself, LE has to know even more then we do, and would they not investigate every last detail? No one else has been charged with anything, and that part has me wondering too. Is it that they're not done investigating the family, or they haven't found enough evidence against them? Maybe they ARE just clueless and in major denial??

I don't know Can. I'd like to think D. Casey/Hoover did not find Caylee. At the very least, I think Hoover was not there if D. Casey did find her remains. There aren't even any words to describe what useless trash the Anthonys would be, if D. Casey did find her and told them and they told him to keep quiet.

I don't think anyone but Ho Casey was involved in the actual murder and disposing of the remains. I do think there is a trememndous amount of guilt on the part of GA and CA -- CA in particular over the fight that allegedly took place on Father's Day. I think Cindy and George blame themselves and it is that guilt mixed with misplaced loyalty and forced denial that is causing them to protect Casey.

When this case first started, I was NOT the popular voice over in another thread. They were all saying Caylee had been given away to a nice family etc and I told them my thoughts. I knew from looking at KC when they arrested her that first time that she had killed Caylee. I have said from the start Lee knows a LOT more then he is letting on.. everyone was watching the sideshow mom and pops while Houdini Lee did his magic out of eye site. The code talk, I still believe was code talk,between he and KC was an eye opener as well. Sin changing her stories and her me me me rants she would go on,I knew she knew Caylee was dead from the start. I have NEVER seen Sin shed a tear. GA had a lot of people fooled, but the timing of his "suicide attempt" was really ironic and I knew it was to get the focus off that and onto himself. If you go back, every time something was going down, doc dump,jail calls,hearings etc,the Ants have pulled 1 stunt or another. From the beginning they have schemed and scammed to steer and control the investigation as well as what people thought,It did not work with me. They have known from the start, I would guess right after the 911 call where she stated "it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car" I believe KC came somewhat clean then and when she was on bond, they got what ever tale she was telling to make it look like she was a victim of some sort and or make Sin feel guilty for throwing her under the bus.. maybe a "well, you are going to get what you want mom,I will get the death penalty and you will be rid of me for good"..  I do believe Sin will go under the bus and she will excuse it with "well, they HAD to do that to save KC" . No Sin.... KC had a chance early on to tell the truth thru a limited immunity and chose the hard way thinking she was smarter then everyone else... No, I do not think they are in denial, I do not think they are clueless,I think they are making big bucks off the blood of that baby and at this point, the greed is obvious and Caylee is but a fleeting thought as they spend that $$ they have made off her death. I find them to be diabolical. I think we as a whole, people who never met Caylee have shed more tears for her then her own "family" has shed for her. They know what they are doing and I think a lot of what we seen after KC's first release was "the script" to be honest. This has been a scam,a scheme and quite a disgusting display if you ask me. Poor Caylee, the nation,the world loves her more then her "family". As for being charged, I wish they would charge them, but they have been to slick on what they have done, I doubt they have enough evidence to charge them, but I am waiting for the day. I hope eventually they will charge them,I would really lose a lot of faith in the justice system if they did not charge them. sorry to babble on but these are my thoughts on that..

oh, Can, here's another interesting item. Not sure of the exact date but I got this screen capture during an interview GA and CA gave, can't remember the channel. Michelle Bart also did one that day. Seems like it may have been in November. Look at Cindy. Since the whole ordeal began, I have NEVER seen her look this distraught and worn down, at least not in public. I have asked the question before -- what caused this reaction on this particular day? Did D. Casey in fact find the remains and notify them? Did Casey (or Baez or someone else) tell them for a fact Caylee was dead?

Good morning Searching and all--Searching, I couldn't agree more with your post.  I don't think G&A were involved with Caylee's death and I believe they loved her with all their hearts.  Notice "Loved" is in the past tense.  When they discovered she was dead, and I believe it was shortly after Cindy dragged Casey home, they transferred all of their feeling to Casey, no matter what she had done.  They know she killed Caylee and IMO they have known since early on and all of their actions have been to hinder the investigation and obstruct justice.  They have lied under oath and have done whatever they thought necessary to protect that slut of a daughter, Casey.  They should be charged.  It appears to me that LE is in denial about Cindy, George and Lee.  They are covered with teflon as far as Orlando LE is concerned and justice will never be done in this case, IMO.

I've always felt G&C knew very early on (of course I don't know it for a fact) but I've always felt they knew. Whether it was because KC told them, or they just knew, I'm not sure. Are far as talking about them being clueless/in denial, I meant I was hoping that was the case, and not that they actually knew the truth. They've all just got me so confused over the months! I think CA has been the least truthful, with GA not far behind. LA, of course just tried to stay away, trying to keep away from the radar screen. Other than keeping people wondering, I don't think LA looks any less suspicious than G or C. As of now, I don't think any of them were involved in the murder, but I'm not sure who knew what or how much they knew or when they knew it. Part of me feels they have known since the day the car was found. I think maybe KC never told them the actual truth, atleast not with the actual words. I just don't know! Trying to sort it out in my head drives me crazy. It's like driving with out a map in a place I've never been before. I'll probably be lost for ever. Now that I'm not making any sense anymore, I'll end here!!

I ask this yesterday but it might have got lost in the last thread.  With JB stating that there was in fact a retainer with Casey and LKB how does this affect the case and Mr & Mrs LKB?

JB admitted that there was a retainer between him and Casey. When Judge S asked if there were any others JB said she had a retainer with LKB.   Here is my question that I hope someone can answer.  If in fact there is a retainer with LKB that means Casey is paying her rather than pro bono.  With Mr. LKB being a expert for Fox and openly talking about the case surely LKB is in a big pile of poop from an ethical place should Mr. LKB let pillow talk slip out on one of his appearances (lets hypothesis here that perhaps LKB told him about the chloroform found in the hair and Mr. LKB let it slip).

In a situation like this would it not be grounds for a retrial, anything that slipped not be permissible in court, and Mrs. LKB being taken to task with the Bar for breaking privilege?  I think privilege even applies to the man you are sleeping with no?

Of course Cindy knew.   IMO she knew when the car turned up smelling like "there's a dead body in it" - She went back to work and commented that she was going to wait for Casey to explain.  At this point - supposedly - she had no reason to know one way or another that the smell was from either Casey or Caylee - both had been MIA - the car was abandoned - WHY did she not think that something could have happened to Casey?  BECAUSE SHE KNEW.  Perhaps she didn't want to believe it.  But she knew.

I am not sure on this either,but I did e-mail prosecution yesterday thanking them for being a voice for Caylee and telling them how disgusted I am with Baez and his grand standing for the cameras and that stunt he pulls in court every time of accusing prosecution of leaking information when he needs to plug the huge holes leaking in his boat before he sinks... and asked if what Baden did on Whorealdo about the chloroform in hair would not be considered a leak......lol

Hoover states when asked who may have told DC where to find the remains that he thought it was Lee.  ( I have not made it through all the videos yet so am only going what was on the media last night)

DC said it was a psychic.

Have we seen the phone logs from DC to confirm or throw out the Psychic yet?

Also was it not shortly after the remains were found that Luka was yapping about Lee possibly facing obstruction of justice charges?

Can DC not face contempt of court charges since he was a no show for his depostion yesterday?

JB still says Casey is innocent.  He even slipped it in yesterday while in court.  If she is so friggin innocent why are they not spending the blood money on finding the real perp?  Why are they not all over the media with tidbits of the supposed real story?  JB must be a pretty crappy lawyer to let his client sit all these months in jail when she is "innocent" without bail even.  You would think he would be working his arse off to get her out and follow up on the "guilty" one if she is so innocent.  You would also think that GA and CA would be spending their money on finding and convicting the real killer rather than buying the S.S Dingy.  Why are they not all over the news about freeing their innocent daughter from jail and the police looking for the real killer?  They had no problem with going on about the police looking for a live Caylee rather than a dead Caylee so why are they not doing the same if they believe their daughter is innocent to free her from jail and have the police look for the real guilty one.

Sorry for the rant but there are so many things with all these people that just has me so angry right now.  About 6 months ago my daughter was not on the school bus when it arrived after school.  The bus driver looked puzzled that I was out there waiting as she thought that someone had picked her up from school.  I was in my car so fast and doing Mach 1 to the school I can not remember the whole drive, no purse nothing, just grabbed the keys and floored the car.  When I got there everything was fine and it turned out she was talking to a teacher after class and missed the bus.  My gut reaction was to immediately go find her and my adrenaline went off the charts. 

How can all these people continue with their stories and lies and still sleep at night.  What the heck happend to their love for Caylee and doing right by her?

As Im listening to Hoover's evasiveness in providing answers, it seems he is minimizing his role in the Anthony camp & what he is most concerned about is not giving up the Anthonys.  He knows more than he is saying & heard alot more in several conversations than he is giving up, that's obvious.   I'm stunned that he didnt show up with legal representation, but that's his problem & leaves a door open.   One could say if he did nothing wrong or worked in concert with a cover up that he doesnt need an attorney BUT he withheld vital information from LE until he was urged to contact the FBI with what he knew & his video.   Now, some of this could be normal nerves but the rest of his apprehension could be he fears consequence for his involvement and/or he's had a talking to by the Anthony camp.   His demeanor & willingness to speak to the facts as he knows them seems to have taken a turn.

Im stunned, but I'm surprised Morgan (or at least thus far) hasnt questioned why he went "in secret" to the TES center in Nov to report that tip that Casey's car was seen at that wooded area.    Key thing to remember was Tim returned to Orlando for that search Nov 8, I think the actual search started Nov 11th.    DC called Hoover to go to those woods to find Caylee who was dead Nov 15th....just saying there is more to this story

Good morning, Monkeys!  I have thought all along that Cindy knew that Caylee was not coming back.  She was just so odd in even the early interviews.  Also, the fact that they never looked anywhere for her sets my hinky meter off.  It has also always bothered me that she gathered the "friends" together, without LE.  That sounds like a story straightening meeting to me.  I am not sure that George knew.  And I think it's been clear from interviews released and even the tapes of Lee and KC in the jail that the family as a whole did not respect him.  I would not be surprised if Cindy didn't inform him on their way to LKL.  I just cannot believe they didn't know because if it was a surprise that their granddaughter's body had been found around the corner from their home, how could they go out for dinner?  That's just too odd.  I think this family is beyond our comprehension (thank the Lord) and that they have been in coverup mode since the beginning.  I'm not sure KC ever actually told them, even Lee, anything, but I think their lifetime of experience with her made it clear to them.

I have been considering emailing Strickland about the whole ABC thing.  He stated after the last court where they said GA was too frail to do the depo that his inbox was flooded from people emailing him about GA going on FOX about Haleigh .  He stated had he known the outcome would have been different.  So the Judge does not watch TV.

  I pulled that because there are no words I can say to even attempt to answer that question,but do have an answer here..   $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$  as I said,no words... $$$$$$  It is disgusting and I pray they NEVER have any other grand children and that all of the family members keep them FAR FAR away from ANY children in the family.
