Title: Questions for David Kock
Post by: sharon on October 27, 2006, 05:18:50 PM
Joe Tacopina told us that Satish admitted to picking up Joran. Did Satish ever admit to picking up Joran?

Can you describe with any level of detail the way the forensic analysis of the suspects computers and phone records were conducted?

Why wasn't your client charged for obstruction of justice by Karen Janssen BASED ON FALSE STATEMENTS BY THE THREE SUSPECTS?
Under Dutch law, there ARE charges of obstruction of justice and obstruction of an investigation. Lying, such as when J. SLOOT, DEEPAK and SATISH lied about leaving NATALEE at the “Holiday Inn,” WOULD constitute an obstruction of one or the other kind depending on the lie.

Why did you announce on international media that your clients would have a trial June/July for murder? What was your motive?

Why wasn't your client charged with obstruction when he openly admitted he got information to cover-up a crime by one of the supects fathers?
*********

VAN SUSTEREN: Did Satish, your client, meet with Paul van der Sloot and Deepak and Joran?

I would like to know more about the law in Aruba.
Do what we call " crown witnesses " exist ? ie ) plea bargains
ie can a person who was involved in a crime to a lesser degree
come forward with information and testimony to convict the main criminal / suspect ?
.. Could Joran do this ?
.. Could your clients do this ?
.......
......

What difference does it make to your clients WHAT their official status is ? Suspect, not a suspect, guilty.. just no evidence..
innocent... no evidence ?
...
Is there any way for your clients to clear their name ?
..
Do you see an end to this, or will the three plus Paulus always be GUILTY in the court of public opinion ?
...
What was / is the biggest barrier to this case ever being solved. ?
..
What is you opinion of Karin and how she handled this case ?
..
Have you ever had a case like this ? Biggest nightmare or biggest challenge ?

What is your legal opinion of Paulus Van Der Sloot making arangements for the two families to see the SAME lawyer on June 4, 2005 ?
Helpful to Kalpoes ? Or more of an attempt to bind the three together for the benefit of Joran ?

Your client says the 4 went to the lighthouse after they left C&C -- and his brother agrees. Yet Joran changed his story to now say they did not go to the lighthouse.

Do you have a possible explanation for this?

While not a legal question, Mr. Kock is an intelligent and aware individual, and I'd like to hear his thoughts on whether or not many of the young men in Aruba -- J2K, Steve Croes, GVC, etc. -- do prey on the tourists:   looking for sex with women who are drinking, maybe doing drugs, have let their guard down and perhaps themselves looking for a quick and no-strings encounter.

I'd like to hear his thoughts on Julie Renfroe's comments about American girls being seen as "easy" and they have to prove they're not!     Sounds as though these boys grow up believing that the American tourists do not have to be treated with respect and crimes against them will not be pursued by ALE.

He can't tell us much about the case, but I'd like to hear more about this topic, since it seems to be "sport" to some Arubans.  How commonplace is it?  How does the Aruban community view these boys that do this?  We've heard them put Natalee down for drinking and going with J2K, but no criticism of the boys who do this regularly.  Why not?  Takes 2 to tango.
