Bond was revoked Tuesday, April 28, 2009 for Kristina Rene "Nay Nay" Prevatt in Palatka, Florida today. 

Escorting Ms. Prevatt to the Putnam County Jail is bondsman/surety agent William "Cobra" Staubs -- the same man who posted her bond Monday, April 20, 2009 when she was arrested along with Amber Brooks in Putnam County on drug charges.

WSKY had cameras rolling at the home where she was staying and at the jail where she is at last word on suicide watch.

Prevatt's bond was revoke because she is beleived to be flight risk and a possible danger to herself.

Reports indicate Prevatt recenty tried to take her child from its guardian and later talked and/or texted conversations indicating possible suicide.

It is my understanding that the person she was texting showed Cobra the texts and was worried about her and when she said she was thinking about going and taking her baby and running with it, well thats a bad thing, and she might have just been talking like ytoung girls do, but I dont think he wanted to take that chance, what if she had done it, then the wrath would have come back on Cobra for getting her out to begin with and he would have lost his bond ,   I think its better to be safe then sorry!

I believe Ron's attorneys were scheduled to be on JVM, however JVM said on her show this evening that they would not be on because they had received a call from the LE Task Force and Ron's attorneys were meeting with the Task Force instead.

In the last thesky973 article, after Cobra bailed Nay, Nay out of jail, he stated that Nay, Nay was going to give the Bby  Daddy temporary custody of the child.  So how can she give temporary custody when the Baby Daddy already has the child?

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office fielded rumors Tuesday about a possible arrest in the Haleigh Cummings case.

The agency received calls from Florida media outlets asking about reports there had been a break in the case of the missing girl, last seen at her Satsuma home in February.

Capt. Dick Schauland said investigators continue to work on leads and reports of an arrest in the case were false. He didn’t know how the rumors started.

The sheriff’s office did verify another report that the child’s mother Crystal Sheffield had a seizure, which her attorney has The woman was taken to the Putnam Community Medical Center Monday after she fell, reportedly after a seizure, and hit her head on a crate.

The incident occurred at Haleigh Bug Headquarters off of U.S. 17 that serves as a command post for some waiting for news about Haleigh.

Last month Sheffield was involved in a minor vehicle accident that apparently also involved a seizure.

The seizures reportedly are linked to stress, according to comments from relatives and others who know Sheffield.

There have been no reports from the sheriff’s office of any progress in locating the child who vanished more than two months ago. Officers have called the case a possible abduction but have not named any suspects.

I had read on here that she was staying at a different location at night..perhaps that has changed? would she be staying there alone? that would be spooky unless it is in a well lit area...HH might know...Where is Chad though? did he go back home to his job? I am sure that he can't be gone from his job forever either...

I haven't heard LE say that publically but the odds are not good as so much time has passed without a single clue in this case. I imagine LE are not giving the families a lot of hope. I think may be one of the reasons RC has almost dissapeared from public view and was so crushed even before they left the tent site. If you actually read the website RC's attorneys have put up for Haleigh it does make you wonder what they think about finding Haliegh alive. JMO

She seems to carry the stuff on her like her keys. i would be surprised if Cobra bails her out again. I figure she'll opt to go to rehab now. Regardless if she is ready or not. If she has to go thru withdrawal in jail, she'll be ready to talk if she knows something just to be able to get medical attention. This girl is in desperate need of help.

No   cobra revolked her bond because she was trying to take her child away from the father, also she was found in a crack house and she had been texting a friend of her who in turn showed Cobra the texted messages of her saying she was gonna commit suicide and maybe even run away.........he had to take her back to get her help and so they could put her on suicide watch at the jail...

??? They think that perhaps Nay Nay was at the trailer that night OR that Misty did come out to get some more drugs and met Nay Nay. ???
For sure they want her to sober up. Clear her mind of the drugs and provide some info, if she has any info about Misty that Monday evening. 
But, given the source ( Nay Nay ) what value would that have ? Girl would say anything to get out and get more drugs.

Could Nay Nay have been pulling Misty out front for drugs, while someone slipped in the back and took Haleigh??   How they can get a straight answer out of any of them is beyond me Kat.  This is one screwed up big time village of people. 

I don't think Prevatt can sober up in a few days~ I think if she stops using she will  be sick for weeks, so unless she knows what happened and spills it finally, we will be waiting a while before she could possibly provide any link to solving this case IMO

No arrests, suspects in Haleigh's disappearance

No arrests have been made in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings and none are anticipated, a Putnam County Sheriff's Office spokesman said Tuesday.

The 5-year-old, blond-haired kindergartner was reported missing from her Satsuma home Feb. 10, prompting a massive search of South Putnam and an intensive criminal investigation involving local, state and federal agencies.

No suspects in the girl's disappearance have been identified by detectives, said Johnny Green-wood, a sheriff's lieutenant who serves as a spokesman for the department.

Speculation that an arrest had been made swept the community Tuesday.

Telephone calls from Haleigh's relatives, curious residents and the news media flooded the sheriff's office Tuesday afternoon, Greenwood said.

The trigger appeared to be a report from an Ocala radio station that linked a drug suspect's return to jail to the Haleigh case.

"They are unrelated," Greenwood said. "It's not linked to the Haleigh Cummings case."

The subject of the radio station's report was 18-year-old Kristina Renee Prevatt, who was arrested on a cocaine charge April 20 and bonded out of jail about 10 hours later by William Staubs, a bounty hunter and private investigator who says he is working on the Haleigh case.

Staubs returned Prevatt to jail Tuesday afternoon and invited T. J. Hart, program director of WSKY in Ocala, to come along.

Hart did a live broadcast from outside the county jail in Palatka reporting "a person of interest" was being "brought in."

Interviewed by telephone later, Hart said Prevatt "has been cited as a person of interest to the case by some people" he said were "other investigators."

Hart said he was specific with his report.

"We never used the word arrest," he said.

The report sparked a flurry of activity at the sheriff's office, Greenwood said.

"We've had all kinds of people calling down here," Greenwood said. "As soon as they made that comment, it just got crazy."

Staubs also bonded out 20-year-old Amber Brooks, who was arrested the same day as Prevatt on similar charges.

Hart said Staubs' efforts were made to help solve Haleigh's disappearance.

"He thought if he showed some mind of compassion and kindness he could get some information out of them," Hart said.

Staubs, 51, who calls himself "Cobra," has been accused of illegally detaining a Putnam County man who was free on bail on a sex abuse charge.

Last month, deputies say Staubs apprehended and handcuffed William Snodgrass, 55, who in 2007 was charged with capital sexual battery of a 9-year-old girl. Snodgrass was held for an hour, deputies added.

The allegation is being reviewed by local prosecutors.

Snodgrass is free on bail and under electronic supervision until his trial this summer.

Nearly 4,000 leads have been forwarded to investigators since Haleigh vanished, authorities say.

Misty Cummings told authorities she last saw Haleigh about 10 p.m. on Feb. 9 and the child's bed was empty when she awoke the next day about 3 a.m. At the time, she was dating Haleigh's father, Ronald. They have since married.

Both Ronald and Misty Cummings have been questioned repeatedly by investigators.

Recently, a high-ranking sheriff's official said detectives were unsatisfied with answers provided by Misty and declined to rule her out as a suspect.

Haleigh's Father, Step Grandfather Under Investigation

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. - Detectives with the Putnam County Sheriff's office have a new investigation underway that involves Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, and her step grandfather, Hank Croslin. 

In the police report obtained by Action News...Hank Croslin accuses Cummings of regularly supplying him with prescription drugs.
 
Deputies say it all began about five days ago at the Putnam Communty Medical Center where the sheriff's office had contact with Hank Croslin.

According to the report, Croslin told deputies "Ronald Cummings was trying to kill him."

Croslin told the police he regularly gets prescription pills from Cummings "when he needs them or when he hurts."

According to the report, he told detectives he "asked Ronald if he had any xanax and Ronald pulled several pills out of his pocket and gave Hank one."

Hank told officers "it made him very ill"…that "he was in a coma for four days"….and he believes "Ronald provided the pill to him with the intent to harm him."

We went to Croslin's home.
He was not there but we did speak with his daughter in law...who referred us to Ronald Cumming's attorneys.

Cumming's attorney, Jerry Snider, says he has spoken with Croslin and Croslin told him he doesn't remember when the report was filed.
Croslin also told Cumming's attorneys that he was hospitalized because he was abusing his own prescriptions not prescriptions from Cummings.
Cummings attorney told us Croslin told him he does not think Cummings is out to hurt him.

We tried to track down Hank Croslin.  We went to his home but he was not there.

I really think something is getting ready to happen.  :)  I really really do. Got a couple of questions that are bothering me today, and you are the most informed, most fabulous people that have the amazing ability to come up with the best info...so here goes.

What was your general consenses about the tip money?  Why over a 100K for Caylee and only a pittance of 35K for Haleigh?  Is it because they are from different "classes"? Or what?  This is bothering me.  The price of information for a child...  :(

Now about Cobra. OHMYGOSH! I hope he stays!!!  Who cares if he's show boating? JUST GET THE JOB DONE MAN!  I don't see anyone else trying to help.  I think he's bringing heat down there in Satsuma.  I think something is happening.  And remember Tracy Calfornia?  The LE stated they did not have a suspect right up until the time they arrested that monster. They played their cards *so close* to the vest.  Could be happening in Satsuma as well.

No arrests, suspects in Haleigh's disappearance

No arrests have been made in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings and none are anticipated, a Putnam County Sheriff's Office spokesman said Tuesday.

The 5-year-old, blond-haired kindergartner was reported missing from her Satsuma home Feb. 10, prompting a massive search of South Putnam and an intensive criminal investigation involving local, state and federal agencies.

No suspects in the girl's disappearance have been identified by detectives, said Johnny Green-wood, a sheriff's lieutenant who serves as a spokesman for the department.

Speculation that an arrest had been made swept the community Tuesday.

Telephone calls from Haleigh's relatives, curious residents and the news media flooded the sheriff's office Tuesday afternoon, Greenwood said.

The trigger appeared to be a report from an Ocala radio station that linked a drug suspect's return to jail to the Haleigh case.

"They are unrelated," Greenwood said. "It's not linked to the Haleigh Cummings case."

The subject of the radio station's report was 18-year-old Kristina Renee Prevatt, who was arrested on a cocaine charge April 20 and bonded out of jail about 10 hours later by William Staubs, a bounty hunter and private investigator who says he is working on the Haleigh case.

Until then, I am not so sure it is true.

Palatka Murder Suspects Indicted

PALATKA, FL -- The men who escaped from the Putnam County Jail were indicted by a grand jury Wednesday morning.

Doni Brown and Timothy Fletcher were indicted on charges of 1st degree murder, escape, home invasion, and two counts of grand theft.

The two men are accused of killing Fletcher's step-grandmother after escaping from jail and then leading investigators on a nation-wide manhunt.

State Attorney R.J. Larizza told First Coast News there is a significant amount of evidence against them, which makes for a strong case.

This office is in possession of an affidavit signed by Hank Croslin that states:

 

1.         That his hospitalization from April 18, 2009 to April 29, 2009 was due solely to a misuse of prescription medication that Mr. Croslin obtained on his own.

 

2.         That Mr. Croslin was not provided any drugs, pills or medications by Ronald Cummings.

Hart, a radio personality from Ocala, announced to the Palatka community that Cobra was bringing into the county jail a "person of interest" in the Haleigh Cummings case!  This caused a furor over nothing.

I would say that just because we read something on Art's site does not mean that it is the absolute truth...He and TJ Hart and Cobra had to have staged the whole thing about revoking Nay Nay's bond..otherwise, how would TJ have been there with his camera ever ready? It may very well turn out to be true that Misty has lawyered up, but I will believe it when there is a source other than Art to tell me that....jmo  of course...

I think that Mr. Croslin may be back tracking on what he said before about Ron giving him the pills...He probably doesn't want the LE to dig too far into his activities...jmo  also...

I am surprised that this is not on either the law firm's site or the site the law firm made for Ronald. I do believe it to be legitimate. (Not suggesting that it is not, in any way!) But seems they should have it posted on the appropriate venues.

I also want to know what they mean by the part I made red. What was improper about the bond? Why did they just state this and not state what was improper about it? I sure am glad these bozos are not representing me in anything.

It is just the way Ron's attorneys state things, very unprofessional. There is a way of saying something and they don't have a clue to the proper way.

He does appear to be living in a balloon filled with lots of hot air..  Has to dispute everything that comes out, but when he does.. appears that he really doesn't know what he's talking about...  I'm not surprised at anything he comes up with.

NOPE have never seen anything documented about it running, even in the police report.  Comments being that maybe Haleigh peed the bed ..then why would she, she was potty trained....or was she hit to the point that she peed....or did Misty pee the bed. 

AH reported it and has been asked many times on his site about it, I have yet to see an answer from him regarding the washing machine. I looked for hours one night trying to find official confirmation, but wasn't able to. I did find it mentioned here and on another forum long before AH wrote his article, but those posts didn't have anything official either, it was just rumor, so I have no clue where it came from or started.   ::MonkeyConfused::

In regards to your question regarding the improper bonding, I have no idea what the attorneys mean.  But they did have a meeting yesterday with LE Task Force and also I believe Cobra, TJ Hart, and perhaps Art Harris had a meeting with LE Task Force yesterday.

Having Turners Syndrome it is possible.. but this is only gossip..  you know little ron may have a bit of trouble, and if he and Haleigh slept together, its possible it was from him.  He doesn't appear in any photo to be a Happy child.. that worries me.. I'm sure it worries Crystal too.  I haven't heard anything since her last seizure, wonder how she's doing..  Amazing one side of the two families seems to thrive, and Chrystal's health seems to be failing.. I think she is just doing too much, really wearing her down alot..  Hope she gets better.

Did RC say that or did Cobra say it ? Did RC say that just to get more information from Cobra? We really do not that and are just guessing but in my opinion Cobra does pull a lot of stunts just to get attention. I can say I will not trust Cobra, AH or TJ Hart without absolute proof from LE.

There are way to many rumors in this case being taken as facts and it is impossible to figure out anything so far. The only thing I am sure of is we do not have enough real facts to make an intelligent decision about any suspect.

When That issue came up it was both in Text and an audio interview with rc.... so I don't believe that cobra made it up because rc was doing the talking, and running his mouth..   Cobra is too much in the public eye, to make things up, too easy to get caught.  Now, as far as the pee and the blanket, you can hear it on any number of short elevators interviews..  So, these elements are facts, not fiction..
So, its not rumors when it came out of the person's mouth.  Now if anything was made up and is rumored then rc and short elevator were not telling the truth and thats a fact.  So, no we are not dealing with rumors,  nor unfactual information.
Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.  And no..  no one can turn and point fingers at Cobra or Art for this info..  Just the two who have problems with the truth.  LE hasn't released any info, so if we were to wait until they did, we will still be setting here years from now, still waiting..   Sorry Idgie, this is one story that is true, and released right out of ron and short elevators mouths..  Therefore, it must be true???????   Question?  why would you believe that anyone else said this, we have posted links on the same info many times directing posters to the same interviews?

I guess I was wrong....... WOW.....  is this one of the people they busted on that bit drug bust two weeks ago??   This is bigger than the LE knew... I sure hope they a ready for this..  Those girls are not long for this world with that man at the helm.

snip mlee: When That issue came up it was both in Text and an audio interview with rc.... so I don't believe that cobra made it up because rc was doing the talking, and running his mouth..   Cobra is too much in the public eye, to make things up, too easy to get caught.  Now, as far as the pee and the blanket, you can hear it on any number of short elevators interviews..  So, these elements are facts, not fiction..
So, its not rumors when it came out of the person's mouth.  Now if anything was made up and is rumored then rc and short elevator were not telling the truth and thats a fact.  So, no we are not dealing with rumors,  nor unfactual information.
Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction.  And no..  no one can turn and point fingers at Cobra or Art for this info..  Just the two who have problems with the truth.  LE hasn't released any info, so if we were to wait until they did, we will still be setting here years from now, still waiting..   Sorry Idgie, this is one story that is true, and released right out of ron and short elevators mouths..  Therefore, it must be true???????   Question?  why would you believe that anyone else said this, we have posted links on the same info many times directing posters to the same interviews?

Mlee:  actually if I recall correctly, this info about Ron saying that he was keeping Misty close until Haleigh was found, was said by Cobra....it was in that long winded conversation that another poster who is no longer posting here provided for us...Ron was not even on the tape, Cobra was doing all the talking, so we don't really know for sure that Ron did say anything that Cobra says...it is all hearsay as far as I am concerned...no recording of Ron's voice....that I remember....I could be wrong, but that is how I recall it..

Misty did say that she was washing blankets that night, but Art is the only one who has ever said that the washing machine was still running when the police arrived after Haleigh was reported missing...so the interviews that you are speaking of, are not really from the LE, but from Art, Cobra right?

Actually, it was not only reported by Cobra in writing, but it was recorded by Cobra and the taped conversation had a link on the site, so we could listed to ron's voice when he said it...  so, it is a ron issue... not cobra..  and short elevator is the one who claims she was washing blankets that night at bed time, because she put a sheet over Haleigh, and had to wait until Haleighs blanket was dry and put it over her..  That she had to wash Haleighs blanket because it smelled like pee.. But, she never said that Haleigh ever pee'd the bed.... so its a toss up on who pee'd on the blanket.  Little ron appears stoic

Police have two methods of writing reports.. the first giving basic information pertaining to the call or incidence, and the other is called a Supplemental Report, that can and generally does make commentaries of infomation they do not want released to the public.  The primary report is required by law to be made available for the public to see, the supplemental isn't.  So, all the little details about the house, condition, items missing, etc are all on that little report we can't see..  And yes, ron's voice could be heard on the tape. I remember well, because of the issue over greg being described as black.  when ron made his statement, i didn't catch it at first with his reference to white boy greg, I though he was stating he was a white boy.. whereas cobra had stated that greg was black. So, I had to go back again and listen to the interview.

I think KP wants more dirt on RC and MC, and that would be the only reason to help Nay Nay. The information that Nay Nay can provide can't be considered credible IMO, and I don't think Nay Nay is interested in cleaning up her act any time soon, so it really makes no sense for KP to be interested in what this girl has to say.

That is the only reason Kim or Cobra are involved..  And had Nay Nay, gone to rehab and straightened her life out, one she would have been able to testify for Crystal in the Custody hearing, and two she might well have been able to obtain custody back for her own child.. so there were good benefits for Nay Nay.. She's just hooked on these drugs, and it is a crying shame her life is being wasted.

And these actions by Kim and Cobra are in the best interest of her Client, Crystal.. So, they are both doing their jobs..  It is common practice for any criminal attorney to hire a private detective to help uncover evidence to prove a clients case, and in this situation, it is to prove that Crystal without doubt is the most responsible parent for Haleigh and little Ron.  That's Kim's Job.

He's severed some years already, but on this case he hasn't gone to trial yet.  He is out on Bond.. now 31,000.00 isn't the amount that was paid, unless the Judge during the Arraignment orders straight bail and no percent.. Knowing these were major dealers, the DA should have requested a much higher bail.  Now, when a bonds man bails them out, he puts up 10 percent, which was about $3100.00 only.
also property can be used for bail, like a home or vehicle.  With the connections this man has,  31 thousand dollars would be a drop in the bucket for him.

Yes, mlee, the bail amount seems low to me considering his past history.  I hope, if he is convicted, they sentence him accordingly.  (For a very long time!!!)

not necessarily, the statements that Nay Nay made in front of a camera, is not any longer considered hear say.  She was not forced to do the public interview, she was open, doing this at will, and she was sober when she made the statements, and they were all relative to the people involved and the circumstances.  So, they may not be able to call her to the stand, but they can introduce the public interview into evidence for a jury or judge to hear.. No, as far as what she had to say against ron or short elevator.. Hey, it can be used....  So, no they don't have to look any further.. they have it.. written in stone..  And given to the American Public for review prior to court..

Cookie, you are correct. I downloaded the mp3s (that TJ Hart offered on his website) with Cobra and just listened to them again. In none of them does Ronald speak. In the one you all are discussing, Cobra is talking about the reenactment he had set up for that night which he says Misty backed out of. In the 9 minutes and 25 seconds-long mp3, Cobra is the only one speaking. I believe it is a recorded phone conversation to TJ Hart. Ronald's voice is not on the mp3 and I don't believe Ronald was anywhere near Cobra when he recorded it.

About Ronald Jr's appearance in pictures, I disagree with mlee. I have been collecting pictures of Haleigh from everywhere I can find them for the "Keep Hope Alive for Haleigh" artwork I have been doing and quite a few have Ronald Jr in them as well. I do not find his demeanor "stoic." He appears like any normal child to me in all of them.

I, like you, cookie, am very frustrated with the little (as in no) information being passed on to the public by LE in this case. I also am very concerned about those who accept rumor as fact and pass it on as such in this case.

Until I can verify things by court records or LE or a legitimate, bona fide news sources, I will continue to take the rest of the "facts" presented in this case on the Internet as rumor. I'll use those bits as something to chew on, something to help me think about the case, but I will not base my opinions about the case on them unless and until they are proven to be true.

Again, because we are presented with so little verifiable factual information in this case, I share your frustration and hope we can try to be careful when we are discussing it with each other, that we state things as factual or rumor, when the label fits.

The FBI was involved in the search for Haleigh as early as Feb. 11. (16 members of the FBI helped search for her.) and on Feb. 12: FBI agents, including two profilers, spent more than an hour inside the Cummings' home.

I don't know if that means they are still involved in the case or not.

I'm fuming about all these people in this case.
I don't understand why LE or FBI doesn't start arresting these people for what ever reason.
All of them smoke and if they are under 18 arrest them, if they drive without seat belts arrest them, if they come to a rolling stop at a stop sign arrest them, if one felon is talking to another felon arrest them, If they jay walk arrest them. What I'm trying to say LE and FBI needs to up their behinds 24/7. Someone knows something and one will talk to save their on butt.

Misty needs to be charged with child neglect and the hammer brought down on her so she will tell what happened that night.

Elijah had been doing great, but Monday night I couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong, so I called up there at 2 am, and his urine ouput was nil. The neonatologist explained that although they like to wait until the baby is around a yr to ligate a PDA (artery in his heart), he had no choice as his kidneys would have failed and then there would have been no turning back......so, as a crazy worrier, knowing how dangerous this was on an unstable baby I have so lost my mind! But, God is good and he made it thru the surgery fine.......now, if I can just get the rest of my life in some type of order things will be all good.

No evidence other than not coming clean with LE, she cant get her story straight or even give straight answers to LE .......and I know that if you cant tell the entire story and tell it one way there are only 3 reason why........1.  you wasnt there so you dont know and are trying to make something up.........2. your lying and cant keep the lies straight.  3. you were really asleep and just dont know....but if this was the case, then she would know for a fact what Haleigh was wearing......what time she fell asleep, what movie was in the player, why you woke up to begin with,   and she doesnt give the same answer twice so........that leaves only 2....in my book!

I am also, Elijah is a fighter, pretty soon you will be able to bring him home to your new house.

I think if she was lying of guilty of any crime she would have been arrested.   I wish I knew what Marie's concerns were when she called DCF on Crystal, possibly just drugs, but somehow I am not sure about that.

This is the only way I can think that Crystal would be involved, that it's a custody case.  I'm not sure I believe that though.  I hope that's the case because then there's a chance that Haleigh is still alive.

If it was done it was a long long time ago and was a time when Marie was trying a shot at Tough Love and trying to bring Crystal around from where Ronald had put her years before and it worked and everything has been fine since then........I have not heard of any such thing recently!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the welcome!  That's what I was thinking, is that it's a custody case.  All the info I have seen to date seems to point in that direction.  By that I mean, Cobra, Kim and Art's actions, and to some extent Crystal's.  I don't see her talk much about Haleigh or beg for her return.  I  think TJ seemed on board with them as well before that unfortunate "flirting" incident.

well, i have seen nothing in the court documents that would give me the impression that she was a danger to her kids and just might kidnap one of them, I have also seen her pain and hurt in her interviews and have heard her beg for someone to bring Haleigh back to her....

Yes he took it back, I imagine he thought his twitter was private.  I saw what he said, and I thought she seemed "off" in the interview as well.

I know one thing, if I came home from work, (still lived in NM, somewhere near my ex. and my daughter was still young enough to be in both our custody's, like she was) if she were not at home, and I had no idea where she went, the first person I would have called was my ex..  If he didn't know where she was, then we would have called the LE together. (even if we didn't like each other).  But, I would have checked with him first.  That's my ole opinion, and I know its worth about 50 cents on a cup of coffee.. 

I don't think she did it to be mean or hateful, she was worried about the children, and good on her.  Not sure what date she called, Marie told the court she had on Dec.27/05 iirc.

And for me it keeps coming back, why would Ron leave his children with a girlfriend/babysitter who was coming down from a three day bender? I would think if he is such a great dad, that would have been a major concern, he could have taken his children to his mom or grandma's house. He put his children in danger by leaving them with Misty.

you know the episode over that weekend with short elevator could have been the deciding factor.. If this had occurred.  I don't think that they would have believed it would have reached this magnitude of investigation, or public view..  I believe had ron called Crystal first, there may have been a different outcome..

I still disagree, Crystal was kept out of the loop about what was going on in that household, she didnt live there and no one had told her about what was happening with Misty, she didnt even know anything about Misty and certainly had no way to  know that this was gonna happen on this particular night!

I totally agree, their lifestyle is hardly appropriate for raising a child, and Ron Jr, who is watching him? Hopefully Ron's mother or grandma is watching him, I guess the newlyweds are living with grandma, last I heard, but that could have changed.

My belief is that MISTY knows more that what she is sharing with LE and maybe even Ron.  Misty was that last person to see Haleigh.  Misty was trusted to be in charge of taking care of Haleigh.  Misty holds the key.  Yes, I do believe Misty and Ron both have had drug problems.

As I said, since they had been living together since November, seems odd that Crystal did not know about Misty. That's all I was stating.

I have no idea how the kids got transferred for her visitations. I just assumed she went and picked them up at their house and delivered them in the same manner.

 When a girl likes a man with children, she usually knows that the children are the way to his heart and therefore is usually really good to his kids, but that doesn't mean that it stays that way when she knows she got him.  And with MC's age and background, I think she could change in a heartbeat.  Most drugs are mood altering aren't they?  And Combining more than one drug at a time could add to mood swings and give you extreme moods couldn't it ?  Is there a monkey expert out there on this type of thing? ::MonkeyWink::

I think speculation is a natural reaction.  I did see an interview where Misty said she has been babysitting for years, and obviously Ron and others must have trusted her to watch the children.  Teresa also seemed like she liked her and said in interviews that she was very good to them.

I'm not an expert, but yes most drugs are mood altering. And if you were high and coming down, you probably would want to sleep, lets just say, kids being loud and playful, would sort of get in the way of that, and ones temper could be destructive. Also if Ron was more attentive to Haleigh, it isn't that much of a stretch to figure Misty would get jealous. Misty is young, and sure doesn't appear to have had the best upbringing, I'm sure she would want to be the center of attention, with her relatively new boyfriend. I hardly think she appears to be the type that wanted to be a homemaker and built in mommy to kids that weren't hers, imo.

I don't know if she did drugs, and the folks who said she did had conflicting stories.  I think I recall NayNay saying Misty smokes weed and Greg having another story.  The date of this infamous weekend is also in question iirc. 

As well as the Black man in black and couch bouncing is alleged to be.. It is not fair to pick the bad things said about Ron and misty to believe but not the good. That is what I have been trying to point out. You believe something alleged to have been said,where it was also said looked coached by Crystal,but refuse to believe they loved Misty and she was good to them because they are children?? sorry,can not have it both ways...JMO

The very ones they say came from relatives letting her know what was going on with the children.. iirc they even claimed he had an auto accident with children in the vehicle due to being under the influence shortly after his auto accident....

I have no set theory on what happened to this beautiful little girl, I am no fan of RC and Misty nor Crystal,I am a fan of Haleigh period. I try to weed thru the rumors and go by what we know as facts and I am kinda leaning in the direction you are, I have to wonder about it BECAUSE of all the sudden stories/bashing of RC,custody court battle coming up,sudden lawyer etc..I do hope and pray LE has not fallen for the sympathy/pity party going on for Crystal and has looked into her AND her circle very well, other wise, I feel it is a really bad error in judgment and failing Haleigh at the same time.... JMO

The focus needs to be on Haleigh.

I'm wondering where everybody stands at this point, what is the senerio that you think most likely happened.   (And I know that Our opinions aren't going to help, but we can still have them can't we)   As for me, I'm lost in all of this, There are so many possiblities, that really make sense.  I want to make it clear that even though I may point things out about both sides, I don't blame either one....YET.  I think they were lousey parents, but I think they love and miss haleigh very much and I am praying for all the family and all involved in this case.....Mostly for Haleigh though.  I refuse to think that she is not alive.  I am praying that this baby is found safe and sound and is placed with a family that will love and protect her until her real familys get the help, counseling, and parenting classes that they need.  All I know is that everybody needs to be doing anything and everything that they possibly can to bring this baby girl home.  Be very open minded and explore any and all possiblities.  :smt089

I read a lot in this thread but don't post a lot but from a poster that's not emotionally vested for either family, the idea that it's a custody tactic to kidnap only one of the children you share with a man doesn't seem logical.  The scrutiny that BOTH sides has faced certainly doesn't give anybody the  ah ha  moment that either of them were very stable.  Why only snatch one of the kids?  None of them are mastermind criminal caliber. Doesnt make sense for Crystal to stay in a town that's clearly on "ron's side", start and man 24/7 a center for Haleigh, uproot your baby, endure constant critism, battle health issues etc, be apart from your life,boyfriend etc.   if really you've cleverly spirited your kid away.  Even wealthy creeps that try that kind of stuff usually leave a trail of clues.
Bashing Ron, unfortunately is brought on by his behavior, his smart mouth and his seeming apathy as to the inconsistancies of Misty's account(s) of the evening of the abduction

IMHO, there is quite a bit of the timeline missing. Where was Misty from that Sunday morning until that Monday afternoon?

Was she actually dropped off by Prevatt at Misty's brother's place?

Did Misty actually go to the hospital to visit her father, if so how did she get there? Did she drive the van?

When did she go back to Ronald's trailer?

Was it really Misty that was driving the van and did Haleigh get into the van at the bus stop that Monday?

What drugs did Misty really partake of on the 3 day bend?  Prevatt one time said that marijuana is Misty's favorite?  So I take it Misty was not into the heavier drugs too much, jmo.

If Misty did partake of the heavier drugs, was it willingly?

Did Amber have access to the key to Ron's trailer home?

So many questions, so few facts!
